Whatever, it's your character. But, I do think that it'll get in the way of training and such. Maybe Kai'll get jealous and turn against Alex. I don't know, you make up what she does.

It's definitely going to make for trouble, but less in training and more in actual battle, though not until the crush fully develops. I'm thinking of having it develop more while she's training than anything. Right now she thinks her concern and caring for Alex is more just a student worrying about losing her mentor again than anything. The crush goes completely unrealized.
