She was insane.
She had to be.
Dez hadn't heard from her silver-haired knight in over a month and a half; she was far too busy with life, work, and she had recently decided to go back to school for her diploma and for a certification in her fields of combat. She had put a cease on her mercenary work for the moment, and she wasn't sure if she'd go back or what she wanted to do. Life was looking good now that she had decent money coming in and she was starting to get back to her education. She had also cut and straightened her hair and had bleached it back to her normal blond color, unable to find any good temporary colored hair dye. She was almost positive that Sephiroth would be surprised.
There was something missing though, and that something is what had driven her to travel on her two-week break for spring to this god forsaken no-mans land (the journey only took three days because regular airships now went to Bone Village apparently and then the walk from there to Icicle Inn wasn't extremely complicated) and to scale up the damned Cliffs. She had enjoyed the snowboarding though, and now she knew she had a new hobby whenever she came this way or could find available snow.
Kalm was too far South for snow as far as she knew, but with any luck she'd be able to relocate to somewhere with snow sometime soon. She wouldn't even mind living on this frigid continent because it put her closer to Sephiroth. Plus, she could never get enough of the beautiful abandoned city that was through the Sleeping Forest. She had actually camped there one night instead of staying at the Inn. It had been a bit painful from running into a random monster that had wandered down from the mountains, but it was nothing she couldn't handle...
Unlike this; she forgot her paralyzing fear of heights in the rush to get to her lover before she froze to death, so now she clung to the wall trying to find her handhold and praying to any god that was listening that she would make it up alive. "Stupid Dezzy Fay, why did you do this? Why couldn't you find another way to get a hold of him..." she knew why, because as far as she knew there was no other way. Which was why she had bought him a cell phone; so she could call him when she wanted to see him. "Stupid, stupid, stupid," she kept muttering as she finally found her handhold, pulled herself up and onto the cliff landing. She stared up at the top and nearly cried. She wasn't even a quarter of the way up yet, and she was tired, cold, and scared to death. "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"

Sephiroth sensed someone it felt familiar but it was faint now. "Darkmage, Go check it out."
Darkmage flew out of the cavern, and flew around she noticed a blond headed girl was climbing up the mountain. He couldn't believe his eyes it was Sephiroth's Girl friend. Dez Fay. He swooped on down to the edge of the cliff and landed lightly next to her. "Are you Ms. Destiny Fayth?" He had asked her.
Sephiroth still sensing the the familiar but faint person. His eyes opened up wide. DEZ!!!!! He yelled out loud. "I have so much to tell her."

Dez looked up at Darkmage as he landed. "Of course not, what other idiot in this world would be scaling these frickin' cliffs for no appararent reason, especially when they're afraid of heights and the crater's known to possibly house a madman, yeah..." she was peeved by now and it all came out extremely sarcastic and harsher than she meant it to be. She sat in the snow, thanking god she had been smart enough to wear winter clothing, although the wind was unforgiving to her petite body. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she looked up at the cloudy sky. "Sorry, I'm just really annoyed right now..." she stood up lithely and looked up the sheer face of the cliff with a grimace. "Scaling cliffs is not how I had my vacation planned, and this is just taking forever to do..."

"......." He said nothing after her outburst. "ok.... well if you need help I can help you." He opened his spell book. Spoke a weird language. Next thing his clothes turned green and then his body turned green scales formed. A long tale formed as well. The last thing was purple wings. He stood 50 feet tall. He lowered his body "Get on" His voice was raspy souding, and a bit loud, luckily the snow above did not fall and create an avalanch. He flew to the crater and started to hover and lower him self down.
He let her down. All the greenes and scales dissapeared and he was back into his former self. Except his hair is slightly green "Gah, It seems as I still can't get the re transformation right." After that he left back into the shadows.

"Dez!?" He called out. He got up, walked towards her. Hugged her, and gave her a nice long kiss. "I have so much to tell you" He whispered in her ear.

Dez screamed as the dragon-thing lifted off. She wasn't afraid of the actual creature, just the being up in the air. Touch down was a welcome relief and she threw herself almost literally into Sephiroth's arms. She smiled up at thim lovingly. "I missed you so much. I too have a lot to tell you," she said, running a hand through her now blond hair with a shy smile. She backed up a little so she could let her eyes drink of him and memorize his very being by sight alone. His voice was a welcome relief from the worry and "Sorry it's been so long, but I couldn't figure how else to contact you and I've been so busy lately..."

He looks at her. He eye balls her. His eyes widened Your hair!? What happened? he then took her hand and sat down, he then sat her down on his lap side ways, like a small infant. "You can tell me first."

Dez laid her head on his chest. "I needed a change, and I figured I might as well go back to my natural color... It suits me best according to my friends..." she ran her hand through her short hair again with a small smile. Then she looked up at him with alarm. This had been the thing she had worried about most. "Don't you like it?"
She sighed softly. "Oh well... what's done is done, I guess..." she said, shaking her head yet still worried. "Anyways, I'm going back to school now... Graduating high school and getting some more experience in my fighting. I'm not doing mercenary work right now, just working at the restaurant part time while in school... Been thinking about you a lot... Thinking about relocating after graduation, if I can get a job somewhere else... Of course I'm considering just dropping my mercenary work completely..."

"I like it, but short hair" He doesn't like girls with short hair, but Dez can be an exception. I mean come on though, He has long hair... Cool, and after that, I want you to live here with me. We both can be mercenaries, of course I know how to fight, and maby I can teach you all that I know. after that he started to talk about what he had done. Well..... All I did was train Darkmage, Thats why he had turned into a dragon he whispered into her ear. "Also I even trained my self as well, I can kill a really big monster with one blow".

Dez grinned up at him as he talked. "Still, training's a lot of work... even moreso than going to school and working out of a book... But I've done my fair share of training the past couple of months too. I think you'd be proud of me. I can't quite take out a large monster yet, but I'm much stronger and faster than I was before, when you first met me..." she said, thinking about how her instructors had been disappointed in her original skills; obviously she hadn't been taught to fight very well by whoever had taught her beforehand, although she had more skill than most in her beginner class and was a quick learning which resulted in her moving up in the class very quickly. She had been amazed herself about what she could do now with both her sword, which was back at the Inn with most of her other stuff, and with her guns. She had bought another gun with her raise she had recieved from the restaurant just a few weeks back. It was slightly used, but otherwise in mint condition and it worked so much better than her other one, although she kept that one on her too.
"I made it here without getting any scratches... I bought a newer gun too, so I got used to it on the trip here..." she said, pulling the gun out of it's holster on her leg and showing off the shiny gun to him. "So far it hasn't failed to hit the target yet, and it's semi-automatic too, which is really nice. I've been meaning to give it a name or something because it's such a nice gun, but I just can't come up with anything. I'm also learning how to make my own gun. There's a girl in town who makes guns and she's been teaching me so I can make my own in order to replace my old one. I got a raise in pay, so it's been kinda nice because now I can actually go and buy this stuff. I just have to work on getting a new sword because mine's kinda coming loose and rusting, even though I take such good care of it. Plus it's older than hell; it was my father's sword originally, and gods know how long he had it before he gave it to me... Sorry, I'm rambling aren't I?"
She sat up a bit and turned her face to him with a smile. "I missed you so much... It felt like time would never move when you were gone... I wanted so bad to talk to you, but I had so much to do and I didn't know how else to get a hold of you..." she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply, letting her lips linger when she pulled away. Then she grinned. "I'm having seperation issues..."

He just nodded to her. He listened to her. In the background you could here Darkmage laughing. He took his other sword threw it at Darkmage it missed but it shut him up.
He hugged her back. "I missed you so much". He kissed her back as well, but slipped his tongue in her mouth. After a bit he took it out, and re hugged her again. "I....I wish we could stay together forever."

Dez snuggled up against him, wishing the same thing, although she didn't say it aloud; afterall, she figured he should already know it. She sat there in a comfortable silence for a while before lifting her head up and looking at him. "Pretty soon moments like this may just be able to last close to forever... It won't be long and I'll be graduating and then I can relocate closer to you and then we can be together more often... I love you, you know that right?"

Dez sat up, stretching a little before kissing his cheek and standing up. "Come on, let's do something with ourselves! We don't have that much time together before I have to head back home, so we need to do stuff together!!" she bounced up and down, grinning. She was going to suggest snowboarding, but she didn't figure Sephiroth to be the snowboarding type so she waited for him to make a suggestion.

"I don't know." He said with a frown. "All I want to do is be with you, forever and all the time." He did not know what to do. All he wanted to do was destroy, and if he did he would be hurting his one true love. He just didn't know what to do.
