The lake at the center of the Forgotten Capitol holds a secret, the materia that was used over 3 years ago still resides at its bottom, beckoning travelers to there deaths as it waits for someone strong enough to reclaim it...it was used by a Cetra in an attempt to save the planet, and as such the guarden chosen to protect it was released and defeated...now it is vulnerable to capture, that is if anyone can reach it...

At the edge of the lake which was surrounded by the illuminating trees stood a lone female, perched herself at the branch of one of those describe trees, her hood lowered as she watched the soft glow from the lake in which she heard about the White Materia people had been talking about. Not that Alastar was curious, she was more than interested to learn about it, but doesn't dare to 'disturb' the scene by just going in there and try to get it. No, she wouldn't dare do that, she would rather stay out of this.
With a small sigh escaped from the cloaked figure, she figured maybe there might be anyone who wants to try to attemp retrieving it from below, but with all those monsters above and below the lake, as well as the deepness of it, who would be lucky enough to get it? It'll be a miracle if someone did, but for Lyana Alastar, she doesn't much care about that anyway, but she do care about the consequences if it fell to the wrong hands.
It's such a bother to listen to such stories comming from the commoners staying at the bar.

Sitting on a sturdy branch, Alex observed the lake. "So, this is where the legondary White Materia lies..." Alex pondered the thought of a materia so powerful that it could destroy just about anything. "With that, Karri wouldn't stand a chance against me." Alex realized this, then he realized that a lone figure was standing by the water on the opposite side from where he was. He figured that he couldn't just jump down and let the figure know he was there. He decided to let her leave before he dives in to clame the White Materia.

Just as she was about to jump towards the land to have the observation a little bit closer when her enhance-like senses notice a new presence nearby and she know all too well that whoever that was knew someting about the white materia below the lake and would do what it takes to get it. Well, if she was in that person's place, that would be a very suicidal attempt and they should know that no matter what, the place must not be disturb so she will do all she can to, at least, fend that person off for such misleading information.
She doesn't know why, but she felt like attracted to it and as if told her to guard the thing, no matter what.

Alex dropped down and began to run towards the water, thinking if he ran fast enough, the girl wouldn't see him. Alex was almost there, when he suddenly tripped. Alex tried to get up, but with moving at a lightening fast speed, his legs were too tired and had to relax. He couldn't only lay there and relax. He struggled to get up, but it was a futile effort, basically. All he could do now was wait until he wasn't tired anymore, though knowing that the female would catch up to him sooner or later.

She heard a soft 'thump' of the ground and a light patter from the person as it ran towards the lake. She intentionally not to follow the male, from what it seems, but from the looks of it, he tripped from his place. With another soft sigh, she lightly jumped from her place, her red cloak gracefully flutter as if defying gravity and landed with a light thump on the ground. She was in front of him, her face hidden in the hood in which only her dull orbs can be seen, almost glowing a dull , eerie color, and gaze at him, letting only silence speak for itself. She wasn't talking, no, just staring at him with her eerie orbs.

Alex returned the gaze with his bright yellow eyes and sprang back to his feet. He continued to gaze into her eyes and knew she was going to stop him. Alex thought of beginning a battle between them, but that wouldn't do anything to help in this situation. Then, he got an idea. Alex smiled at her, and said, "I'm sorry, but I've got a materia to get. Now, if you'll excuse me." Alex jumped into the air lightening fast and un-sheathed is sword. Alex held it in an odd way; he held it behind his head with his free hand outstreched towards the water, while floating in midair. Then, he began to fall down towards the water and started slicing the water as he went down. He continued until he began to spin his sword in his hand with blinding speed, making it seem as though it was just a spinning propellor on an airplane. He dived into the water making an air tunnel in front of him. As he continued, he evetually formed a bubble around himself. He then began to slow his sword down and started swimming down to the bottem of the lake, searching for the Legondary White Materia.

She watch him as he headed towards the lake and dived into it. Such foolish actions he made. Even though he manage to reach the lake, there is no way anybody could find the Materia, and if does there is of no use with it, only the Cetris can have the full use to it.
"Your actions will be furtile." She said in her emotionless and hollow tone of hers.

Alex rose back out of the water, holding an average rock. Most people would question what he was doing with a rock, but a person who belived in God as he did would understand. Alex came back to shore, set down the rock, and stabed his sword into the ground right behind it. Alex took the Fire, Lightening, Ice, Earth, and Alexander materia out of his equiped slots and placed them around the rock in a pentagon formation. He then knelt down on his right knee, and began to pray in an unknown language. It was his form of taking the rib from Adam to create Eve.
Suddenly, the pentagon of materia began to glow, then the rock, then his entire self with an amazing color of white. The light was too bright for anyone to see, all except for Alex. It made an enormous elumination around the lake, centered around himself. About 3 minutes of continueous light and radiance, the light died down to reveal Alex, weilding his weapon, standing upright beside the rock. Alex then picked up the rock, which was still glowing, and placed it into his armlet's second slot. He suddenly began to glow again, but this time it was much breifer. Now Alex had 2 angleic wings extending from his back. He looked over to a nearby tree and flew up to the very tip of it's top and stood with magnificent ballance. As he stood, the wings began to disipate. He stood there, examining the water, searching for even the slightest hint of the white materia.

"no...its not him...but then...who?"[/glow] Genesis stood bolt upright and took into the air, speeding so fast only the wake of fire and destruction behind him was visible as he roared towards where the man had landed with the Soul Reaper drawn... I have to know for sure... |

Just nearby.
An angel, it may seem, but for Alastar, she have heard about them all too well. Yes, she have heard about them and she have a very strong intuition that there may be something more in this scenario than what it seems to be.
"I never knew...." She said, more to herself, being all too wise for her age. She was well hidden from sight, her weapon ready. Somehow, she decided to use her favorite weapon, EverAfter, as she settled herself from the shadows, her own shadows ready to spur themselves out as her weapons or Limit Break, if things goes out of hand or they decided to include her in this fued. She was way wiser and more clever than her looks, and everyone should know about that.
She, IS, also one of Hojo's early human experiments, right?

Alex didn't need to look up as he saw a what looked like a speeding bullet flying towards him.
[glow=white,2,300]"Don't make me waste my time..."[/glow] He said in a soft and calming voice.
Time had slowed down completely, until it drew to a complete stop. By that time, Alex was looking at the person and devised multiple ways to evade or even to deflect this person's attack(s). As time stood still (Alex is frozen with the others and everything around him,) he could tell there was evil amung his possible foe and the girl he saw before had a mixture of both good and evil. As time began to move once again, slow to normal, he readied for an attack, with his weapons out.
