Genesis landed silently ontop of the inn in Nibelheim...he had heard a commotion while flying by, and had swooped in for a closer, albet covert, look...
What he saw made a wicked grin spread across his lips...
Behind him 30 Genesis "copies" (AKA people Genesis infected with his cells and transformed into lesser, weaker versions of himself) landed and quickly secured the inn's roof, then dropped out of sight, awaiting orders...
[glow=red,2,300]"Well well...how rare..."[/glow]
He murmered in a bemused arrogent fasion...
then quoting Loveless:
[glow=red,2,300]"When the battle of the beasts brings about the end of the world, the Goddess will return, descending from the blackened sky, spread her wings of light and shadow, and lead us to eternal bliss.with 'offerings to the dead.' "
"It seems that time approaches..."[/glow]
Genesis slowly crouched down so that he would just barely be visible and watched Sephiroth attack a young boy who bore a close rezemblence to cloud...except his hair was brown, he was slightly taller and his eyes were blood red...

[glow=red,2,300]"I wonder who..." Genesis froze in mid-sentence as he realized who the creator must have been... "Hojo" he spat the name like a curse..."[/glow] Hojo, along with Hollander and Gast were the ones who had done the expiriments to him and his friend Angieal all those years ago...

Rikelus Deverell twitched inadvertently due to the large amount of Genesis copies appearing ontop of the INN. The large composition of substance G coursing through their veins, triggered him into wincing for a moment before his crimson red eyes glanced upwards towards the group, “If your soul clings to vengeance it’ll wear itself out…” he muttered solemnly holding his position for the moment, in truth he didn’t want to fight Genesis, he admired the Soldier and rarely spoke to him during their days in SOLDIER. A SOLDIER, was taught that no matter how far down the lineage you go, SOLDIERS are still your brother. They referred to each other as brother much like how Deep Ground Tsviet members, call each other, he didn’t feel as though Genesis was an immediate threat to his own personal health as he was to the others.
Genesis Rhapsodos to him was nothing more than a SOLDIER who had lost his way in the middle of a power struggle between the ShinRa Science Division and Electric Company. Things may have been much different had, there not been competition between the divisions and Hojo feeling inadequate to Gast, along with Hollander being upstaged time and time again by the white phantom.
A cold wind swept through the disturbingly-silent area as Rikelus shook his head glancing towards stubborn civilians who merely tried to comprehend what was going on, rather than flee the area. He had been doing one thing during his time in Nibleheim, and that was surveying the expecting destruction of the battle instead of planning for a sneak attack from the likes of Genesis. He hadn’t taken the fact that Genesis was back in town into full effect, and his mental state seemed still rather detrained from that of a sane and logical SOLDIER. Was he insane again? Or was this Genesis in full effect regularly? “Where have your pride and dreams gone…” He spoke softly hoping his voice didn’t fall upon faint ears. He wasn’t going to hunt down Genesis as if he were some dog the way that they did Zack Fair and Cloud Strife, he’d have to find some way to save him. He had too.

His sword wretched form his hands, as Sephiroths attack hit his weapon head on. This was unthinkable, how was Sephiroth this strong? No matter, thats why he had been a First class Soldier, and Devials goal to surpass. But hate ignored logic, logic would tell you to run, or hide. He was far beyond logic though, so he only thought of the fight.
His sword lay plundged into the water tower, and he lept up to the frail thing, and stood on his sword even as Cloud might have. "I'll defete you Sephiroth, then I'll kill your accursed Mother!" What! What was he talking about? Mother? no matter the words came out like a stream flowing down a river, it was too late to stop them.

"WHAT!!! I WILL KILL YOU NOW!!!!!!" He said with anger in his voice. He dashes up to Devial, and slashes at him a few more times. In the corner of his eye He saw Genesis, and 20-30 more Copies of him. "Haha, This is getting Interesting" He said in his head. He started to laugh.

"Ohh shit!" He didnt think Sephiroth would attack him so fast. With a faint reaction he stepped on his sword ripping a slash into the tower, spraying a force of water out, his feet on his sword like a board he raised it up to take the slashes as he rode down on the wave of water. Then there was something just out of his sight, a person, no many people. "Who the?"

Genesis noticed that his position had been comprimised and quickly, silently signaled for the elites to sneak around and rush in to restrain Sephiroth, the girl, and the clone. Sephiroth Noticed the Copies of Genesis, Suround them. He quickly forgot about Dievel, and ran up on the Genesis, clones, and Slashed at more then 15 of them. He Could not beleive his own brother would attack him. He casted some Fire spells, and directed them to Genesis. The Genesis copy elites charged straight into the fight, as Sephiroth slashed at them, the Barrier materias attached to their armor deflected the strike...quickly they compleately surrounded and closed off all the people involved and raised a reflection barrier to ward any spells...the fire cast at Genesis simply bounced off the barrier and hit the ground, setting the enclosed area a flame... Genesis slowly walked up to Sephiroth with his sword drawn... [glow=red,2,300] "You continue to betray me...brother..."[/glow] |

[glow=red,2,300] "you...you are no brother of mine...you are a monster...just like your beloved...'mother'"[/glow] with that Genesis turned his back and slowly walked away before signaling the copies to attack...Leaving Sephiroth trapped within the double barrier with barely any room to manuiver... |

The Inn's Ceiling started to crack, and eventually it caves in. Sephiroth Then Took out his Sword, and dashed fastly towards Genesis. With both Hands on his Sword, He Suddenly Swiped at Genesis, with all his Strength, and Might. The sword was whistling through the air. Striking Genesis, Hopefully cutting him.

He hovered a moment, 30 feet above the roof... [glow=red,2,300] "We are no longer SOLIDER...we...are monsters...We have lost our dreams and pride..."[/glow] With those final words Genesis slowly raised one hand, the ground outside the inn suddenly collapsed in a titanic explosion...when the dust settled, Ifrit was glaring directly at Sephiroth...waiting for the command to strike... It was Ifrit "So you call on a Summon Huh!?" Sephiroth then jumped up and attacked Ifrit, striking him up the back, and slicing right through his Back.
