Abandoned lay the Shinra Mansion, it had fallen so from its former glory…if you could call it that. The building itself was falling apart and around it were large puddles of water from the last rain; plants over grew the place. It was a surprise really that anything would grow in a place like this…where so many horrific experiments took place. But that was all in the past now right? There was nothing left there…or was there? Around the manor, towards the back, something was partially uncovered and it seemed to glow eerily. It was a coffin and a very strange one at that; made entirely out of mako crystal.
Only the lid and part of the sides were exposed, the rest was still in the ground, but on the head of the lid there was a large crack. It more than likely was due to it rising out of the ground and hitting a rock or some sort of object. But what lay inside of the coffin was not something you would expect. No there were no bones, dust, or remains. Instead there was an actual body. She looked like she was sleeping, a tired expression on her snow white face, and her chest just barely rising and collapsing.
Ghost was alive after all these years of being buried beneath the ground. She had not been breathing before, there was no air inside the coffin, but as soon as the lid had been cracked and air rushed in it was almost like an instinct that she started breathing. And slowly her senses were returning. Red irises were revealed after several minutes, opening and closing, before finally staying open.
Her face showed mild signs of confusion while she peered up through the crack to the sky. Bones popped and muscles groaned after years of no use when she moved her arm to reach up towards the lid. Ghost barely touched the mako before retracting her hand, frowning, and then reached up again. Only this time she moved the heavy lid, pushing, and sliding it off enough to where she could actually sit up. Again she blinked slowly, getting used to the light and taking in her surroundings.
Everything was so unfamiliar, even being in a coffin, which now she was struggling to get out of since her body was so frail right now. Ghost was nothing but skin and bones after being in a coma for that long. No food, no water, nothing but mako…Once out of her prison she collapsed onto her knees, heaving up globs of the green substance. “Disgusting…” She muttered afterwards as she wiped her mouth; her voice had not changed. Now taking another look around, she wondered if she was alone here, she decided to take her chances, “Hello?”
(Don't be intimidated by how long it is! I just couldn't stop myself.)

"Such a sad little place." A mumbled to himself as he stepped into town. His visage was odd, it consisted of a black leather coat with fur on the collar and on the bottom of the sleeves. The man's gray hair seemed to glimer in bright sun. He casually stepped into the town as he scanned it through his purple tinted sunglasses. "I'm truley not impressed. However if she wishes me to be here, I guess I have no option." The man shrugged as casually marched towards Shinra mansion.
As he reached the gates his hand grazed over the rusted steel. A brief smile came to his face. "How pathetic, A run down old mansion in a run down city... It matters not, there is something in there that I want." He spoke aloud to himself as he nonchalantly opened the gate and walked through the doors.
Taking off his glasses his saphire blue eyes scanned the darkened and old mansion. "I believe I wish to go this way..." He said walking down into the underground cavern. "Ah, yes... here we are." He spoke as he headed for the brightly lit research room.

Silence was all that met the failure; it was almost deafening. That was until her hearing, heightened by the mako, picked up the sound of mumbling and the creak of the old rusted gates. So there was someone here beside herself. Maybe they could be of assistance. Now if only her body decided to cooperate then she could go take a look. With shaky movements Ghost managed to push herself up onto her feet, but her legs felt like they were about to buckle.
Yet the woman pushed herself and moved closer to the building. She used its crumbling walls for support, walking stiffly, and followed the faint sounds of footsteps. What is this place? Ghost asked herself once inside, frowning at the poor state it was in; it looked worse than the outside.
Continuing on she paused, listening carefully, and found that she was close. Best that she stay quiet then…no telling who or what was here. And taking it or them by surprise would not be wise.

The gray haired man's attention shifted to behind him just before he reached the research room. His eyes gazed at the pale female clutching to the wall for support as she almost lifelessly stepped out of the chamber he just pasted. "What have we here?" He said aloud letting the woman hear his name as he turned to face her. "So whats your name?" He asked with a coy smirk upon his face.

Ghost showed no facial expression when noticed by the man, So this is who is here…hmmm strange… He did not look familiar. Nothing looked familiar to her actually. Blinking slowly she straightened up, forcing herself to stand on her own, even though beneath the folds of her dress her legs were quivering. “I do not know.” Was her answer, voice sounding almost hollow in a way. But it was the truth. She did not know anything of her exsistance.

"My, My you're as pale as a ghost." He spoke looking at her straight in her eyes. The mere sight of her brought a laugh to him that he kept silent. Such a frail little thing in such a harsh little place. It didn't matter though, she wasn't part of his plans. But wait... I am to come here for something that one would not expect to find... hmm... he thought deveously within his mind. "Oi, ghost girl, you mind coming with me? There is something I need to do and I need help from certain people. So what do you say ghost girl? Do we have an Accord?" He lulled softly.

That she agreed upon, she was indeed as white as a sheet or ghost as he had put it; the former experiment nodded. A fine brow quirked slightly at what he said next though, red eyes opening more from their lazy state, “It would depend. Who are you? And would you care to explain this place?” Of course Ghost didn’t exactly ask nicely, it was almost a command, and she did have a regal air about her. Her legs finally stopped shaking but she had to turn her head away for a moment as she coughed up a bit more mako. It disgusted her so, making her skin crawl, and as she looked back at him again there was a bit left at the corner of her mouth.

His smirk grew into a grin. "Oh me, I'm no one..." He stated coyly as he took a step. Within three steps he was already infront of her. "My name is Nakashi Yokoshima." He introduced himself with a seductive yet coldly suave tone in his voice. "I work for a higher plane of intellegence." He said. "Come with me and maybe you can find what you're looking for." He lured as he spoke to her.

“Nakashi Yokoshima.” Ghost repeated, staying where she stood, not moving even the slightest bit as she was approached. A few moments ago she realized that she was armed; on her right hand were metal claws covering her digits. Little did she know they were also equipped with poison. Said digits twitched while she looked into his eyes…red clashing with blue, “Fine. We have an accord.” And with that she walked past him, wanting to get a better look at the room.

hmph... Perfect... He thought to himself with a smirk as she passed him. [/i]I can use her for what I want. Now I simply have to find a couple notes and I'll be finished here.[/i] He plotted as he walked towards the research room and headed to the bookshelves. As he looked at the many notebooks upon the shelves a set of five caught his eye. Taking the group of notebooks and setting them on the table. He flipped through each of them. "This is a start..." he mumbled lowly as he closed the books, stacked them up, grabbed them and walked for the exit of the room. "I'm done here, you can spend however much time you wish."

She paid no mind to him for the time being, new found curiosity getting the better of her as she wandered around. The more she moved the stronger her body was getting. Muscles loosened and the strength to stand on her own returned. Much to Ghosts’ relief; now having found a desk she carefully looked through some of the papers. But just as she reached for the last scrap Nakashi spoke, “Alright.” Looking back down at the paper she felt a strange realization. It was a record of sorts. And if she had known more she would have also realized it was her papers. “Ghost. Failure.” The tall dark-haired woman murmured reading it over.

"I'll be waiting outside whenever you're finished." He said walking out of the room and re-tracing his steps to the outside. Placing his purple lensed sunglasses on he smirked as he stepped outside the iron gate. Suddenly as he stepped out three soldiers stepped in front of him with their blades drawn. "You're not shinra... and Wutai's soldiers have been gone for years." A grim smile came to his face as he focused in upon his enemies before him. "I know what you are..." He let out a light chuckle as he summoned the Alexandrix to his aid. The large sword glimmered in the sunlight.
"A run down town with pathetic copies." he coyed carelessly as they soon lunged in. At first only one attacked and was easily cut down with a vertical slash. Then the remaining two rushed in from both sides. One met a barrier the other met the Alexandrix running through their chest. Abrutly ripping his blade from the chest of his opponent his attention switched to the soldier held off by the barrier as the stabbed victim fell to the ground lifeless.
Pushing the soldier away and lowering the barrier, Nakashi's hand glew a firery red as a fireball was summoned to his hand. Tossing it in the air he guestured his hand ever so slightly as the fireball spit into four burnning orbs encircling Nakashi's opponent. "Burn." he remarked as the fireballs hit him one at a time and then set the soldier a blaze. "And thats the end of that..." he said as the Alexandrix vannished and Nakashi watched as the body burning. "Not the best smell... But it is rather entertaining."

Glancing at Nakashi she nodded then instantly went back to looking at the paper. After a moment though she folded it up and tucked it away in her dress. She didn’t know why but felt as though she needed to keep it. As well as the feeling that there was nothing else left for her there. Yet Ghost had been buried outside mansion. Questions began to swarm into her mind and she found herself heading out of the building. But before she got completely outside she noticed the man had come upon three people. And without even batting an eye lash she watched him kill them all.
My he is rather strong… The former experiment thought to herself before walking out. She had to agree though, the smell of burning flesh was not pleasant, “Entertaining? You kill for sport then?” Inquired the Ghost on her way to her coffin; why? Again it was that curiosity. She wanted to see if maybe there was something else that she was supposed to find. But as she kneeled next to the glowing mako and peered inside her former prison she saw nothing. “How disappointing.” Why am I alive? When I was buried…
Ghost stood abruptly and shied away from the coffin, turning away from it a horrible feeling came over her. “Nakashi…tell me, what is this place?” She had to know what went on here. If she knew then maybe all her questions would be answered just as simple as that. No complications. Minding the bodies as she made her way back over she stopped once close enough to him, “Well?”

"An old research data bank. The room we were in are the written down results of Shinra coats fusing Mako, Jenova cells and humans together." He shrugged, "Not like it matters" he finnished holding up the note books in his hand. "I have what I want."

“I see…then I’m to assume that I am one of those results.” Falling silent after speaking she glanced at the books that he had. What were his reasons for taking them? Or what exactly was written in them for that matter. Ghost wasn’t going to pry into that…at least not yet anyway. “So we are finished here then. Where is it we are going to next?”
