erika decided to find a place to sleep so she went to find an inn and paid for the night once done she explored the village.soon after she went to find out where red XIII was and what he was doing

Like a shadow, Nanaki returned to the city, licking off the blood of his most recent meal. The sun was little more than an amber streak on the dusty purple sky. He glided easily up the makeshift stairs leading to his den. His mind was heavy with the thought of the battle that was to come. He gave a nod of acknowledgment when he saw Erika. "Get some rest," his advised, his husky voice was flat, "You will need it for tomorrow's battle."

"of course"erika said and went to bed.as soon as she got into the bed she fell asleep.however she was dreaming of the battle which brough the plate down and she woke up screaming at two in the morning.

Red's good eye cracked open as the scream rang painfully through his ears. He tilted his head, which was still resting neatly on his folded paws. "Nightmare?" he grunted, "Try to let it go... It's almost time to attack..." He yawned, stretched, and shook his wild mane in an attempt to properly awaken himself.

"nope.a memory i never wanted to relive"erika said.she then got out of bed and put her uniform on resolving to wash when the battle was over and she was back at shinra

With a slow nod, the magnificent beast turned once again to leave. It wasn't his place to interfere with the memories of other... unless of course they wanted to share them. Red turned his head to examine the lightening sky. The time had come.

erika began doing some exercises in preparation for the upcoming batlle.after that she drew her swords and went out side to wait for the gathering villagers who she would be fighting alongside.she then smiled and said"shinra and avalanche fighting together.a real sign of the changing times"

A soft, raspy purr made Red's chest rumble. Indeed, the times had changed the once corrupt Shin-Ra. In moments the villagers who were capable of fighting to some decency were assembled, and ready. Red glanced at Erika with his good eye, "Ready?"

"of course"erika said and drew her swords then smiled at nanaki.she then began warming up for the upcoming battle"hey how strong are the enemy? we really need to scout their ranks"she asked and stood up again

Nanaki's golden-yellow darkened as Erika spoke. "Recall what they did to us before," the beast snarled bitterly as his feline tail lashed dangerously behind him, "Our enemy is a dangerous one, though they've weakened over the years. Do not underestimate them."

erika watched him carefully after seeing the anger in him she decided to ask if he wanted first shot."when we attack"she said"do you want to lead?".she said nothing more as she went over the plan in her mind

"I believe it would be most logical," responded the fiery beast, "no offense intended, but some people here still hold grudges against Shin-Ra." Nanaki was greatly respected in his hometown, even called a chief by some. It was only logical that he should take the lead in the attack... these people trusted him.

"Let's go," he muttered and turned around quietly. It was a bone chilling scene. As Red turned, the people around him knew what to do without hesitation. They followed, caught in the bone-chilling silence. With a battle on the horizon, could you blame them?

erika steeled herself and her face lost a signs of emotion.she was now prepared to fight and kill the enemy even to die if thats what was needed. she turned to nanaki"who do you trust the most?"she asked him looking grim for a moment"i need him or her to stay by me so they can take the detonator if i fall during the battle"
