Leon Entered the arena looking around and yawning. All that he needed to fight was a measly little grunt. "Heh, this shouldn't be to hard. " He said confidently. He pulled out his gunblade and quickly slashed at the things unprotected back before it could react.

Before even laying its eyes on his opponent, the Grunt was stricken at its back. It let out a shout of both pain and surprise, as it rolled for a cover.

Now away from its attacker, the Grunt stood up and turned to see him for the first time. His hand rose quickly at aim and as it sent a few shots. All of which missed their targets.

(Oh ok, thanks Dio.)"Is that it? Thats pathetic! Watch this!" Leon taunted the Grunt. As the last beam hit the arena wall wiith a sizzle, Leon charged up to the Grunt and slashed at it's face. "Take that!" He yelled.Action: Attack-Grunt

Due to the distance between the two, the Grunt was able to get ready for the attack, though not perfectly. It raised its arm to defend its own head,thus avoided critical damage, but still got hit.

Quickly rolling backwards after the impact, the Grunt then sprung up towards its opponent, its arm extended in an uppercut motion. Unfortunately for it, the hit didn't connect.

Leon quickly side stepped the attack and slashed at the grunt's side. "Pathetic!" He mused.

Now aware enough, the Grunt took a leap backwards and dodged the attack.

Then, it took another leap, this time at his opponent, but its claw missed by mere inches.

"Hmm...not as stupid as i thought you were... Interesting." Leon mused as the grunt landed. "Dodge this!" He called as he lunged and grabbed the grunt. As he grapled with it, he swung his gunblade at the monster's head sure that it will hit.

This time the Grunt wasn't as lucky. It was close to his opponent and at disadvantage, due to his missed lunge. However, it managed to raise its arm just in time in order to avoid getting seriously hit.

Now taking a leap back, the Grunt aimed at its opponent from a distance, and this time hit the target.

Leon shrugged of the blow and quickly did a backspinning slice at the Grunt after moving in range of it.

Feeling somewhat confident after landing the first hit on its opponent, the Grunt rushed towards him in order to counter attack, but failed as the blade caught it during its attempt.

Now finding itself laying face down on the ground, the Grunt quickly rose and extended its claw in an uppercut motion. but did nothing more than scratch its opponent.
