Great...
Of all the friggin' punishment, why, pray tell, would Cid Highwind choose to ban her from machine work for a day and, instead, deliver something to the person in the 'Seventh Heaven' she heard about, a comrade of his s'ppose, and not to mention that he got I-No AND her IG-Hammer in custody, when all she did was some sneaking bounty-hunting and, after finding out who's her target, decided to ban her for a day with these things? This, in the red-headed's opinion, isn't going too well with her status. Well, at least she didn't get herself killed, though she will be once Cid find her keisters after this 'errand'. Gah, she should have declined when she had the chance, but noooo, Faye has to accept that one from that mysterious guy, and now she's dead-pan shizkebob on his ass later on.
Nice going, Faye Flannigan.
With no I-No as company, and only her Breaker as her temporary weapon, Faye have to make-do with this thing for a while before being scolded once more. She should have checked the guy's data, for once! Man, she never knew that blondie was actually Cid's comrade, why didn't he told her that?
No matter. As long as she's still alive in one piece, hopefully, things will get a bit settled for a while.
Standing on the front door of the said bar, with a package from Cid in hand and a note attached to it, the female tried to knock the door since it was close but since she got both her hands full, might as well use her head for knocking.
'Dammit, can't believe how hard-headed I am, literally!' Faye thought after a few bangs, shaking her head a bit to remove those small buzzes on her head.

Tifa finally had the bar all to herself now, just watching a bit of television as she sat alone at one of the more comfortable seats in the corner - no customers, no orders, no phone calls, no training for Fuyuki, and (not surprisingly) no Cloud. It was just another slow quiet day... how boring. When the orders came piling up and the day seemed to be full of faces some she hardly recognized, how she longed for some peace. Now that she had it, Tifa didn't know what to do any more. Intriguing...
There was a sudden knock at the door... it couldn't have been Denzel or Marlene. She was certain she gave them the keys whenever they came home. Tifa turned down the television and left her seat, and headed for the door. She unlocked the door and slightly opened it, to see whomever it was outside. It was a pink-haired girl with a rather large package at hand. It was painstakingly clear as to why she was here...

Before she even make another bang (using her head), the door opened to reveal a brunette female standing before her, eyeing her and the package with her marroon orbs. She gave a shrug after she asked about the package.
"Not surprise." The pink-haired female grinned sheepishly, accompanied with a shrug (as much as she could try) wondering if this is a side-effect of using her head in knocking the door or she's just plain delirious to herself. Well, it's pretty much her fault for this mess, so might as well take it like a man... er... woman.
"Ooh, yeah, before I forgot," Looking both back and forth for a few seconds, the female placed the thing gently on the floor as she pulled out a letter from her pocket and checked the recepient's name printed onto it to check if she really is in the right house. "Tifa Lockhart, right?" She asked, looking at the female before her. "Cid Highwind send his regards, by the way," She added, handling the letter towards the female. "Not that it's a punishment enough for me to be banned at any mechanical things for a whole, solid day..." She mumbled, still thinking about the fact that him grounded her from machine-work would really made her more than ticked off to be a bit level-headed.

Tifa opened the door for the woman and eyed the package as she placed it on the floor. Many a time she wondered what were in those parcels - A gift? Some heirloom? Something of importance? A bomb? Nah, I should concern myself too much...
[glow=blue,2,300]"Yeah, that's right, Miss... erm..."[/glow] she replied as the lady had inquiried for her name. [glow=blue,2,300]"Cloud Strife's the one who delivers all the packages - I just take them in. All you gotta do is sign this up and you're good to go..." [/glow]Tifa stated, now handing over a form for her to sign - it was just standard procedure; Sign here, tell us who you want the package delivered to and the address, contact details and so forth... it was the part where things just got a little too formal. After handing over the form, Tifa headed over to the back of the bar, tending to the cleaning. So she's an aquaintence of Cid, huh? she thought... Well, a friend of his is welcome around here...

"Faye Flannigan," The female said, introducing herself. "And, yeah, just in case you're wondering, I'm the 'ex bounty hunter' that tried to chop off the blondie's head," She said, adding a 'quote un-quote' part on the 'ex bounty hunter' part, stressing the fact that she just aborted that one for some reason. "S'rry for that." She chuckled nervously at that point since she might be pummeled at any moment for that. And now that Cid knew who her 'target' was, he was more than furious that she made an assault on the guy (concidering she's a couple of years older than him or so) and that leads to...
"Before I completely forgot," The female said with a snap as she rushed out from the door and came back later with her pack, apparently she went back to her Vespa motorcycle to get something. "Cid told me that the package is to be sent to Mr. Rogers Flannigan, and he said he should send it or 'die tryin', quote un-quote, and he means literal." The pink-haired female said, phrasing the words she exactly hear from her mentor whilst fishing out something from her backpack until she got out her ballpen and filled out the form Tifa handed to her. "Iono what's inside the package, must be spare parts, but I guess being an archeologist and Cid's close friend, mr. Rogers, or daddy, he has connections with him and all, but maybe it's just pack of food and he's just being a friend." She added as she finished the form and handed the letter to Tifa before she completely forgot.

Tifa took the offered letter and the form Ms. Flannigan had filled out... it was funny because Tifa didn't recognize the young woman at first - she was the one who attempted to kill Cloud! At Aeris' church! Funny how things turned out... it was easy for Tifa to hate the ShinRa for the death of her father; for the destruction of Nibelheim and for the current state the world was in now. But after Faye attempted the do away with Cloud... she didn't feel the slightest bit of anger or a hint of a grudge. It was just a job... her real anger was towards whomever sent her
[glow=blue,2,300]"Well, like I said; Cloud is the one who delievers all the packages, that is, if and when I can get a hold of him..."[/glow] she stated in an in-a-matter-of-fact tone, then decided to say nothing more. Cloud was her problem, so she had to deal with that. Examining the letter, she read that her name was on it but with no returning address. [glow=blue,2,300]"Who's this from?"[/glow] she inquired to Faye.
(Ooc - Sorry, I've been slow lately... the letter was for me, right? O.o)

Giving another sheepish shrug, the pink-haired mechanic didn't answer her, only giving a 'no idea' look in her face. Truth to be told, she was quite curious as to who had asked her to give the letter to Tifa, they should know that she's getting by as a retrieval service these days but then again, it could be anything.
"Not sure though," Faye murmured, her hands under her chin in a thinking-like manner. Usually the female can be a laid-back and light-headed at some time but when she thinks, oh, she really do think a lot; she doesn't look like the thinking lot to be precise but she suffice it with her knowledge and logic whatsoever. Being Cid's protégé, she have more than one tricks up to her sleeves, prooving that she can do better to be the best mechanic there is on the planet and to show that she's no push-over and can fight a good fight, if you manage to get out of her very strong hammerfall, that is. Otherwise she's more of a thinker and a plotter in this course. "Cid just handed it to me, saying he found it at the table and stuff, he didn't know the recepient to be exact." She said but them gave another shrug.
"Iono, maybe I'm just contemplating too much." She added with a light-hearted mood, scratching her headin a sheepish way. If those two didn't encounter back at the church, she could be mistaken by Tifa as a mild-mannered person by now, in which she's not that much.

Tifa gave a slight chuckle as Faye admitted she was just about as clueless as she was as to who was the author of the letter. Examining the envelope for the final time, Tifa tore open the seal and read it quitely and quickly to herself. She didn't recognize the handwriting nor did the recipient write in his or her name at the end of the letter.
Ms. Lockhart,
I've heard about many of your adventurous deeds along with the hero Cloud Strife. I've tried to contact him personally and the rest of the Avalanche team, but haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. You are my last hope, and since you are the only one with a listed address (thanks to your Seventh Heaven bar) I must ask.
Is there any chance one could be recruited and join the Avalanche team?
It's angering that the ShinRa are still allowed to call themselves the great empire it had always been, even now after Meteorfall. I've been pro-Avalanche since anyone could remember and I've been interested in joining for years. Could you help a potential member out? Please?
- An aspiring Avalanche member.
Tifa just smiled and set the letter aside... she was tempted to write back but since there wasn't a returning address nor was there a name to call the recipient, it just seemed to be a wasted effort.
[glow=blue,2,300]"Fan mail..."[/glow] Tifa murmured, chuckling once more as she rolled her eyes. Averting her attention back at the package that had to be delivered, she picked it up and placed it at the counter. Dammit... Cloud is never around whenever she needed him... whether the task at hand was of any importance or not...

After Tifa reads the letter from the mysterious being, and wondering why in the world that thing was left in the Highwind household with a note attached to her that he wants her to deliver that to Tifa (Heaven knows that person doesn't know that where she is living is at Cid's doorsteps as of this moment), the pink-haired mechanic picked the letter and, reading it silently, gave a slight snort at this. After reading the said content with great observation, she placed it back and muttered something like "no sheep." as a form of expression. Being exposed to the blonde-haired aviator for too long, prolly 11 years to be exact, the female got some of Cid's traits like her being a smoker (but she only smokes when deep in thoughts and/or in her sentimental mode; philosophical, maybe?) and swearing in a minimum (though as much as we hate to admit it, she can swear like a gangsta rapper that it'll make Cid blush in embarrasment when you hear her that, especially when she's tad piss off) but otherwise she have a trait of her own; that's just what she get for being exposed to Cid's constant swearing and chain-smoking anyway.
Looking back at Tifa with her golden orbs, Faye managed to say something after a dreadful minute of silence.
"You know Cid, right?" She said all of the sudden. "I mean, he did know you guys since he've been part of the AVALANCHE and stuff, and lately.... er... he's generally pissed off at me for that stunt I did, so can I stay here for a little while?"
She just had to ask that!

She laughed, although she hoped it wasn't in any mreans offensive. It was just the way she described Cid. The keywords generally pissed off explained it all and it was enough to make Tifa recall those times Cid had flamed in the past.
[glow=blue,2,300]"Stay as long as you'd like... he's not one to cool off easily, if ya know what I mean..."[/glow] she said going 'round the bar pulled out a couple of glasses in case Faye was interested for a drink or two. [glow=blue,2,300]"What did you do to tick him off? Hide his cigarettes or his tea bags? Did that once to him... I don't think he's fogiven me just yet..."[/glow] she stated with a sort of amusment in her voice. Curiosity was just taking over, and knew just about anything could make Cid mad, whether it may be reasonable or not...

"Oh, somewhere in between." The female said, sitting in one of those rotating round stools near the bar as she swivel it a bit before placing her hands at the table. "I did those two, you know, and it ain't pretty." She said with one of her eyes closed whilst emmiting a whistle.
As much as she did those things, in which was a BIG favor for Shera, it wasn't to her and it turns out both she and Cid did a shout off that lasted for 2 hours, ended both of them exhausted and, technically, voiceless. They didn't talk after that, only broke the silence war a couple of hours later when both of them were attacked by a bunch of monsters. And that was just when the two of them were doing a test run on Cid's airship!
Thinking her words over it, she gave another shrug before she added once more.
"A lot of things, one of which is my bounty with that Cloud-guy," The female mechanic began, ticking off her finger to count things. "Forgot to take the trash out, nearly blew up the kitchen, nearly crashed my Vespa to his Tiny Bronco he was fixing and, yeah, those two above-mentioned." She ended with another sigh. "Yep, he's going to bite my head off, you just wait." Faye said with a groan, flopping her head on the table, her face facing the surface of the table and heaving a long sigh. "Man, in eleven years and I just realize that? I'm getting old..." She groan, but more likely as a joke.

Tifa gave a slight chuckle and what she had hoped was a comforting smile as Faye began listing out the things she did to piss Cid off... it sounded just like him though. And as previously stated, he wasn't one to cool off easily. Tifa traced the rim of her glass gently, poured the contents of the nearest drink in it and drank it quickly. She still couldn't get her mind off the one who had a price on Cloud's head... she was glad the bounty was off now, but she just had to get back at this person... in someway
[glow=blue,2,300]"About that..."[/glow] she spoke quite vaugely, her eyes averted and just looked on at her own drink in front of her, full of concern. [glow=blue,2,300]"... isn't there anything else you could tell me about the guy who hired you. To kill Cloud."[/glow]
Tifa recalled she offered a bag-full of gil to Faye back in the church, just so she could get a straight answer from her but Faye declined. Perhaps round two would do the trick...
(Ooc - sorry... originally had a REAL nice reply to this but blackout came and erased my response... this was all I can remember >.<)

((It's ok, I understand. ^_^))
Oh, yeah, about that. Of course she remember about it, as if it was yesterday since she last took that job. The cash was a lot, in which she can't resist not to take the job, but something within her triggered to regret after she took the job to kill a guy like him. She have to admit, she's a bounty hunter herself, and a class S one, but she doesn't do killing especially to humans, not that she would like it anyway. Somehow, whoever the person that hired her must have known about her weak spot because Faye was known to decline a job dead-on when it resolves into killing someone, and knowing her, she researches the people so, it just happens that this guy who hired her colcealed himself pretty well in which she can't get a gapping hole into it. It was sad, really, but as long as this thing's over, it's over.
Not moving her head still from the table, Faye replied in a thoughtful manner, as if she was thinking over her actions and, hard to admit it, she was tad guilty about it. "He's a real intelligent guy, I take my word to it," Faye stated, moving her head slightly so that her face somehow faced sideward, looking at Tifa. "Usually I research about my clients and then give a straight-on 'no' when it have something to do with killing a person, but whoever that guy was knew I'm desperate since, I don't know how but he just knew, my little bro's on a fit lately and I don't have any decent job for days." The pink-haired female emmited a sigh before she continued. "I did managed to get something from that guy, but I don't know if it's imformative to you." She lifted her head, pulled her bag over her and pulled out a folder in which a piece of paper is placed and pulled it out as she scanned the material with her golden orbs before facing the female once more.
"Anyway, I didn't catch on his name, but last I heard this guy, from what he looks, was affiliated with the group called SOLDIER, or something, and he was... how can I say it... partly experemted or something. Otherwise, that's all there is to it, unless you mind reading the minor details." She slid the file over to the brunette, still in her thinking manner whilst now playing a strand of her short locks in her head. "I tried hacking Shin-Ra about this, but it seems their sudden dissappearance after the Meteor incident made all the files non-existent, it'll be hard to retrieve them and will take me months." She ended, as if telling the report to an important person. Apparently, she was called by Cid on these job and sometimes asked about the progress of Space Exploration some years ago in which she always gave a negative answer, making the blonde-haired male angry at Shin-Ra, and, being her father-figure, Faye doesn't like it a lot.
Not one bit at all.

Tifa listened intently at the little details Faye gave about her enigmatic client. She gave a sigh of disappointment when she mentioned she never got a hint of aname, and that he was affiliated with SOLDIER. There were thousands of people who were in league with ShinRa's militant force then. How large or small a fraction the ShinRa had experimented with their own military was still unknown to Tifa. But after witnessing the powers the once great general Sephiroth possessed then and a faint glimmer of a thought that he wasn't the only ShinRa experiment just dampend Tifa's spirit.
She looked on at the file Faye pulled out; there was no picture inscribed there nor was there a name to go by. There was nothing she could even verify this person even existed. The only files that had some hard-core information were locked away somewhere and Tifa knew just as much about hacking into a system as a chocobo knew how to fly. Tifa then pulled out a glowing-red materia from her pockets and layed it on the table. [glow=blue,2,300]"See this? It's an Auto-Pheonix Summon Materia... it's worth is more than you can earn in all your bounty hunts combined ten times over... I wanna hire you to help me find this guy; track him, hunt him down... the whole shebang."[/glow] Suddenly, Tifa could hear the telephone ring from the office upstairs. Timing... timing was always bad she thought dispairingly. She left the materia on the table and headed upstairs to take the long delivery call for the Strife Delivery service. Sometimes she wondered why she got herself into this position handling Cloud's office while he got to be the one who wasn't around. She looked back at Faye before heading up. [glow=blue,2,300]"Just think about it..."[/glow] She then left upstairs to leave Faye considering her slight job proposal. If and when Tifa returned downstairs and found the materia missing, it could've meant she accepted the offer. Either that or she was a theif and took the materia to gain a profit... but she didn't think she would do that; she didn't kill Cloud just because he was a friend of Cid's: her mentor. What were the chances that Faye would steal from her? All she wondered was if she knew that that materia had a worth twelve million gil on the market today... give or take...
