As Katsumi snapped back into reality, he agreed to leave. He quickly headed to a hospital or inn to have the wound treated. Onyveth follow behind him.

Onyveth followed Katsumi as they looked for a place to treat his injury. Onyveth could've just used her cure materia to heal the wound, but doing so would also seal the bullet inside his body. Who knows? It could've already been infected, and Onyveth knew nothing about the surgical procedure of removing a projectile from a patient...
No sooner than later, she spotted a small local hospital around the corner. She lead Katsumi there, where they found the vicinity filled with people. She must've realized, after the incident at the concert there must've been at least some people hurt...
An old man with a white cloak took a sudden interest at the two newcomers and approached them. If it wasn't for the stethoscope (sp?) around his neck, no-one would've noticed he was a doctor. [glow=blue,2,300]"Can I help you?"[/glow] [glow=purple,2,300]"He's got a bullet wound,"[/glow] she replied in a sort of tone which could've meant: 'yes, please, help him!' The doctor examined the young man, simply just by looking at him. The penetration was deep, but the wound seemed clean. The young man didn't appear to be in any pain whatsoever... either that, or just didn't show it. The white clothing in which Katsumi was dressed in was stained in his blood.
[glow=blue,2,300]"I'll treat him... follow me."[/glow] the doctor responded and motioned for Katsumi to follow him into a room to treat him. Onyveth followed but the doctor stopped her... it appeared it was one of those 'doctor-patient-only' times.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Katsumi..."[/glow] Onyveth said rather nervously to her friend before he was being led away, as if she wasn't going to have another chance to say this. [glow=purple,2,300]"If that thief didn't attack me, none of this would've happened... but if you didn't push me out of the way, I would've been--..... what I mean to say is, thank you."[/glow]

After about a half-an-hour, Katsumi walked out of the room. He was changing his jacket so the stain wouldn't be shown. Luckily, I brought another jacket. He slowly walked over to Onyveth, try to make sure she didn't see him. He noticed she seemed that she was responsible for his wound, but Katsumi felt she wasn't. He sat down beside her and looked at her. It's not your fault Onyveth. It's no one's fault this happened. He was trying to cheer her up, but it didn't seem to work as well as he hoped. He noticed she started to look at him as if she was going to say something.

Half an hour seemed to have taken forever for Onyveth. She waited and sat on one of many unoccupied chairs, her hands placed at her knees, staring only at her own two feet as if they were the only thing that was of any interest.
Onyveth had always thought herself to have been bad luck around people -- guys especially. 'People always get hurt around me,' she thought bitterly. She was so consumed by such a simple thought, she hadn't noticed Katsumi creep up beside her. His attempt to cheer her up half-worked, but still she continued to believe his wound was her fault. 'Maybe if we went through another path or took another road, he wouldn't have...'
She gave a half-smile at the corner of her left lip, knowing that he was at least feeling better now. She wanted to say how sorry she was for all that happened, but since he didn't believe she was responsible, she changed what she was about to say.[glow=purple,2,300]"Let's go... we're supposed to be looking for your friends, right?"[/glow] She got off her seat, and looked around at the many people who were injured at the tiny hospital -- some were from concert too, and she wondered if Katsumi knew any of them.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Katsu. I'm glad you're alright."[/glow]

Katsumi stood up and joined Onyveth. He show a bit of a smile, but tried to hide it. He noticed that Onyveth seemed different, as if she felt she was something bad. Katsumi seemed to ignore it as they reach the streets and began to search for his friends.

Before leaving the hospital, Ony thanked the doctor for healing her friend and waved back until she didn't see the doctor anymore. She followed Katsumi along the streets passing by people who held no recognition in her eyes but could only wonder if they knew Katsumi at all. She continued to follow in silence until nothing looked familiar anymore. She only hoped her friend knew exactly where he was going.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Hey, Katsumi? Can I ask you something?"[/glow] she murmured as she walked beside him, not really paying attention with what was in front of her. She didn't intend on being so intruing, but curiosity was taking over -- naturally.[glow=purple,2,300]"How come you don't remember what your friends look like -- I mean, isn't that a little odd?"[/glow]

Katsumi stopped to think of the answer. Though, he couldn't think of anything. I'm not exactly sure. He scratched his head, wondering why. Yet, he noticed something. After the first opponent disappeared, he had forgotten. He wondered: Was the opponent part of him? Or did he steal some memories from Katsumi? He wasn't exactly sure. He then continued on his way, only to run into a dead end at a wall. This wasn't here before. He seemed confused. He knew that the wall wasn't there before, but couldn't figure out why it was.

There was something in Katsumi's voice that made her wonder. Though he said he was unsure, there was something in his tone of voice as if he was hiding something from her. Some piece of info that he wasn't sharing as of yet...
Curious. It was very curious. She couldn't figure out how someone could forget something as important as another friend. But then, not too long ago she knew another man who couldn't recall not only his friends; but his past. His history. Including his own name. It was sad, she thought.
Katsumi broke her chain of thought as he spoke again. [glow=purple,2,300]"Maybe we just took a wrong turn, that's all." [/glow]she added optimistically, giving a slight casual shrug as if it didn't really matter. The streets were devoid of any vehicles, and no-one looked familiar. Even the buildings she didn't recognize at all. She didn't want to say it aloud, but she had never been in this part of town before.
We're not lost... we're not lost... she repeated to herself.

Not after Onyveth spoke, Katsumi turned around. He seemed to be looking for something familiar to him, but he couldn't find anything. He shrugged and decided to give up searching for a way back. Maybe you're right. He started walking again as Onyveth followed.

Onyveth followed in Katsumi's footsteps once again as he turned to leave. Now she was certain -- she had never been in this part of town before. She had been to a lot of places... but not here. The soles of her feet began to hurt from walking too much, and the guitar she heaved behind her back began to get heavy. How long were they to walk, she wondered. Would he ever gain back his memory?
[glow=purple,2,300]"Hey... doesn't that guy look familiar?"[/glow] she pointed out as some random guy at the distance. She had hoped this would jog up his memory. She just wanted to be more helpful other than following him around doing nothing. If it didn't work... well... it was better than doing nothing...

Katsumi looked over at the man. He seemed familiar. He was... Naoki! Katsumi got the man's attention and they hugged as if they had never seen each other before. Hey, what happened after the show? You disappeared. Katsumi was hoping for an answer, but only got an "I don't know" from him. Well, at least Katsumi found one of his friends. It seemed as if he was too excited to remember Onyveth was right behind him.

Onyveth blinked hard, hardly believing this luck. She caught up with Katsumi, happy that he found at least one of his friends. But she was quite curious as to why the man had answered "I don't know" in the first place. She just raised an eyebrow at Naoki as if saying 'what do you mean 'you don't know', huh?!'
It was clear that Katsumi had completely forgotten about her, but she didn't mind. He was with one of his old friends again. That was more important. Onyveth walked up to both men and made herself known. [glow=purple,2,300]"So you're a friend of Katsu, huh?"[/glow] Onyveth studied the man while rubbing her chin, as if examining him. He seemed to be an okay-friendly kind of guy, she thought, so she extended her hand to the man in a friendly gesture. [glow=purple,2,300]"Nice ta meetcha. A friend of Katsu's is a friend of mine!"[/glow] she added with a sheepish grin.

Naoki looked at Katsumi, as he leened over to answer Naoki's confused gesture. Some one I met during the attack. Nice girl, helped me try and find ya. Katsumi asked what might have happened to the others. Naoki replied with "They are on the other side of the city." Katsumi nodded his head in thanks as he asked a question. Think you can help us find them? Naoki replied with a "Yes."

Onyveth just raised an eyebrow at Katsumi, as if to say: 'A nice girl? Just nice?'
Shaking any negative thoughts, she returned to the matter at hand and remained silent while both men conversed with each other. She over head Naoki saying that 'they' were on the other side of Edge... that wasn't so far, Onyveth thought, but then intruded and asked both Katsumi and Naoki out of curiosity, [glow=purple,2,300]"How many friends do you have anyway? Are they your bandmates too?"[/glow]
