Zack paused when he saw how Cloud looked at Aeris and he became Jealous as comprehension of how there eyes met hit him like a kinfe to the heart. "So old blond buddy you didn't just take my sword, or my personality, my dream to became a mercenary, You also seemed to have Aerith or she has you!" Zack said full of jealous rage as he looked him dead in the eye. Zack stood next to the pink haired person not caring the womens methods where. Zack had liked Aerith, had come to rely on her, but now he realized that Cloud and Aerith had bonded...and he hated it. "If I knew you where such a damn thief I would had left you in that cursed lab and I would never have died." He shouted as he began to storm out the open door. ((OOC: i modified the grammer alittle to make it sound more like Zack from Crisis core if thats ok , if not i saved the origional and can repost it back on >.>)) |

*Cloud looked to the girl that attacked with surprise, there seemed to be a price on my head. Although Cloud didn't think that he did anything worng while he was on the road. But he smiled when Tifa went in to attack. Tifa may not be good with the sword, but Cloud would always lose when it came to practicing hand-to-hand with Tifa. Cloud then flipped over to his bike using his abnormal strength and activated his bike's special abilty to hold all six swords of his new weapon: The First Tsurugi. Cloud took out the main blade and hollow blade and proceeded to combine them both then chose one of the serrated blades for dual attacks and got into his offensive stance.* *
But then he looked to the doors to see an old friend. It was yet another person that Cloud held dear. It was the man who saved him, the man that influence Cloud to be the strong guy that he is today, Zack Fair. Cloud thought this day to be another day to fight but when he saw Zack, his face lit up. To have two people that he cherished come back from the dead was something else. Cloud smiled and as he looked to his good friend. Cloud spoke out in shock and disbelief.*
"Zack, is that you?"
*But when Zack spoke to Cloud, Cloud was caught offguard. What was Zack talking about? He then mentioned the issue between Aerith and himself. Cloud tried to explain but what he said next kinda had Cloud step back a little. This was his true friend, this was the man who saved him. But when he said what he had said, Cloud's happy expression just went away. What was Zack thinking, what has Cloud done to ever have Zack say this?*

Great, she seemed Faye missed some pointers in there as she have inwardly groaned at this.
"I shouldn't have taken the job..." She said in a 'now what' tone of hers, slapping her forehead with her free hand. Looking once more to the people (Cloud somehow had his weapon ready), she looked at them with her golden orbs in which was unusual for her structure and spoke in a half-irritated, half-concern tone of hers.
"Look, even if I don't know what's going on, let's just say I'll pass it up and get it over with, I don't really want to do this you know." Faye pointed out, stnading up from her place and swinging her large hammer, ready for a quick attack. Little did everyone know, however, that she has a pretty little plan coming up on her, she IS smarter than she looks, heck even more cunning than anyone else. It's just that she really, really, werided out on this. With another sigh, she waited for either any of them to call for an attack. Faye might not kill him, but at least she got her share in the fun, right?
Not exactly. She's just Faye, you know.

Tifa was lost for words at the moment. Again. As she got up from her crouched position she couldn't take her eyes off Zack as he began to vent out his anger on Cloud... just what exacly does hr do to ge people so pissed off nowadays, she wondered to herself. Quite apparently his relation with Aeris wes the cause of this. She had only known Zack since the Nibelheim incident but never thought he knew Aeris as well. She walked closer to her friend (Aeris) and in a sort curious tone.
[glow=blue,2,300]"You wouldn't happen to know about any of all this too, would you?"[/glow] she raised an eyebrow at her reffering to Zack's... arrival. After hearing the pink-haired woman speak, Tifa turned around again. Swinging around her weapon like that could only mean one thing, and Tifa was in no mood to fight.
[glow=blue,2,300]"You really wanna go after Cloud that badly? Forget it - now really isn't the time for this!"[/glow] she said sharply. This day kept getting odd by the minute...

Aeris's eyes lit up when she heard Zack's voice, but her face expressed a pain that she had loved Zack for a long time and in some ways Cloud had just been a stand in, but Aeris had grown to like Cloud as who he was, not Zack.
Looking into Tifa's eyes Aeris used a general magic she wouldn't normally use, casting wall infront of all her friends and other parties, using so much power that an actual wall appeared infront of them gaurding from Faye.
"I don't know anything....Zack.....Cloud....Tifa....I'm sorry, I thought coming back here wouldn't cause any problems....that was wrong wasn't it? To think of only myself..."

*Cloud took his confused eyes off of Zack and his words and pulled them towards the pink-haired girl. As she swung her weapon in the air, Cloud gained stability so that he may be able to move at anytime. This was all too strange. Why did this girl come to have a bounty on Cloud's head, what did he ever do to her? How did Zack come back? However, this seemed all too much. All of the people that were here all had a special connection to Cloud, except the pink-haired one. But Cloud just had to ask, so that he knew what exactly he was getting killed for. He then spoke out to the pink-haired one, pointing his platinum clad weapon at her*
"Who are you and who hired you?!"

Taking Tifa's words, Faye just emmited a sigh and spoke once more in a more calmer tone of her voice.
"Ok, let's make things straight, a mysterious figure, prolly someone I haven't met hired me to, say, pick on the blondie called Cloud Strife with a price, either that or just stall him till he arrives, and then get my paycheck and leave." She took another breath, placing the hammer down with its head on the floor and resumed.
"Now, knowing this situation, I don't think you guys would be more than happy to be attacked by some random girl who doesn't fight much and spends most of her time in the hangar doing Maintainance with the airships in Rocket Town, but I would mind some cash or two and would be more than please if none of the fighting occured and just give yourself up or something." Faye said the last part in another sheepish sigh. "Like I stated, I don't want to do this, this guy, I don't know his name, told me to do it." She made another shrug and added. "Oh, and did I mention he gave me a hefty price of 5000 gil on your head?" She said in a sheepish-quirk tone.

[glow=blue,2,300]"No, you didn't do anything wrong, Aeris..."[/glow] Tifa stated comfortingly as she shook her head at her friend. She then averted her stern gaze at the young pink haired woman as she began ranting on her reasons for going after Cloud.
[glow=blue,2,300]"Genesis?"[/glow] she murmured under her breath. She didn't recall the name nor had she ever come across it. But there goes that forboding feeling again...
[glow=blue,2,300]"5,000 gil? You must be desperate..."[/glow] she scoffed, getting unnerved with every passing moment the young woman stood there apposed the them with every intention of collecting the bounty on Cloud's head. [glow=blue,2,300]"... in case you haven't noticed, there're 3 of us and just one of you... just give up now and we'll let you off easy!"[/glow] Tifa would've said 4 instead, but seeing that Zack had left and was painstakingly obvious that he didn't want any involvement with Cloud, she had to watch her choice of words...

He smiles slightly still hiding yes they definitely didn't need his help or anyone else's to take down one girl....but he still had questions that didn't have sufficient answers...And he wouldn't leave without them even if it meant following them all the way back to town on foot. He had noticed a movement earlier from the roof but seeing only part of a wing he decided it must of only been a bird even if it was a slightly larger bird then he had seen before.
Guess I'm here for the long run. Heh and me without my popcorn.

*Cloud then heard Tifa mention the word "Genesis". Cloud remembered him from his days with ShinRa. Cloud wondered if he was behind all of this. If he knew Genesis well, then he could be after Zack since Zack is alone. Based on what Cloud read and saw in the alley, Zack might be in trouble. He wasn't going to let his friend down again, not this time. He was going to help Zack and everything will go back to the way it was before, at least Cloud hoped it to be so.*
"Listen whoever you are, you can try to take my head later. Tifa, I need to go after Zack. Not to boss you around, but can you keep her until I'm gone?"

((SORRY~!!! <_< I blame for the password-loss, but now I'm all cool to go! ^^ Omega Event?  )) Whoops~! That was a slip, guess she have to beat herself hard for it. Too bad, she just receive a beep, telling there's a juicy treasure not far from Corel Village and she'll get her hands on it. Hey, she's not a bad female, just misunderstood and only doing her job, right? Slinging her hammer once more, she piped towards them in a 'don't look at me like that' look her golden, dragon-like orbs shining with interest. "Well, ok, I'll leave you alone then," She said simply, simple as that! She can cancel and quit the job when she wanted to, she's not THAT evil! But then, her little brother might needed all the money he would have to study, so she need to have an alternative. "Besides, Cid might crank on me when he finds out I went out again to do "business" with some guy, but just so you know," She took a dramatic pause. "Name's Faye Flannigan, Expert Engineer, Tactician and Bounty Huntress, and I'm just around Rocket Town, so if you need me!" Faye gave a wink as she turned around, forfeting this mission. "Yeah, but don't you get your back behind on me, I haven't officially given up on you. Well, see ya another time then, and I got your head in it too...." Another pause. "Well, depends!" She said at last with a shrug, and before they know it, Faye was over and out! Not that she really care, but she's still going for Cloud's head, just for gigs! And get that money, somehow! Even if it means not killing or her being killed. For her brother. |

Tifa gave a reassuring nod to Cloud as he left to handle Zack. Aeris could've gone with him if she wanted; it appeared she could've handled this little pipskweek on her own. Just then, Tifa raised an eyebrow as an interesting thing happened: The pink haired woman backed down. Tifa got down from her offensive position and just stood there. Did she just say she knew Cid? Of Rocket Town? But of course it would've been the same Cid she knew... there was none like him. Logically, any friend of his was basicallly a friend of hers... logically, right?
[glow=blue,2,300]"Hey! Wait... hold on..."[/glow] Tifa approached Faye cautiously but quickly. She said she was a bounty hunter and was obviously here on a job... what she wanted to know was: [glow=blue,2,300]"Who hired you? Who sent you to go after Cloud?"[/glow]
Without waiting for a reply Tifa pulls out a small pouch of gil - she knew it wasn't enough compared to the 5,000 gil reward on Cloud's head, but Tifa would've done anything to compensate that.

Instead of taking the gil, she shove it back whilst shaking her head as the pink-haired female gave a sheepish smile at this.
"Naw, I can't take that, I didn't even do anything," Faye said humbly.
Just because she needs gil and sometimes greedy about it doesn't mean she will take it just like that; no, she's always keeping her words, she won't take anything not until she did something good and wothwhile and why would they give her this if she even attempt on killing them anyway?
"To tell you frankly," Faye began, scratching the tip of her nose slightly. "I don't have a slightest clue, but whoever that was sure hates that blonde guy with a vengance, or whatsif, I don't know," She added. "I never tend to get to anyone's business anyway, unless it sounded edgy, which is one of the excemption in this case." Looking sideways, she placed her hands in her head. "Oh, yeah, from the looks of your face, you must know Cid Highwind, he's like a father figure to me, didn't knew you guys knew him. He told me about you AVALANCHE guys, so I guess I owe you people a lot of appology, eh?" The female said with an embarrased tone, though sincere in her words. If Cid finds out about this, she's as good as dead chow, she might even ask them to kill her just for Cid not to know.
Hey, she IS Cid's Protegé, her responsibility in her own actions.
