Smirking throughout, Arddyn watched as his magic and melee attacks both missed their targets. Nevermind though, as Arddyn was going to make sure to teach Reeve the lesson that its always a bad idea to judge a book by its cover. As Reeve let off a shot from his gun, Arddyn had only just enough time to scrape his feet across the dusty floor and avoid the bullet. Thankfully it seemed Reeve had trouble aiming that shot as he was more occupied in avoiding his spear.
Readying himself as he watched Reeve approach for another attack, the young man stabbed the blunt end of his spear into the ground and ran at the smartly dressed man, using the momentum of the spear and of him running, to use the spear as a pole and vault over the black haired man as he dove to attack him. Arddyn looked down at Reeve as he passed over the top of him, grinning down with narrowed eyes.
Landing in the church doorway, where Reeve once stood, Arddyn turned around to keep the smartly dressed man within his vision, however, feeling the odds were against him, Arddyn quickly turned back around and bolted inside the church, leaping into the air and swinging the flat side of the spear towards the temple of one of the SOLIDER's in an attempt to knock him unconsious.

Reeve quickly got up, noticing that Arddyn was attacking one of his men. He aimed his gun, quicker than ever thought imaginable, and fired. The bullet soared through the air and hit Arddyn's spear. It knocked it out of the way of his man's temple. He was able to save his men, but seemed to lose his focus for a second. Reeve ran towards Arddyn, hoping to fake him out.
He swung his gun at Arddyn's head, and as Arddyn ducked, Reeve bent down to kick his feet, trying to trip him.

Arddyn's eyes were drawn away from the SOLIDER and towards his spear that now expressed a new dent not far from where he held it with his hand. The gun shot ringed in his ears for a second as he ran one of his fingers over the small dent from where the bullet hit and bounced off up into the air, slamming into the roof of the church and disappearing forever.
Spinning on his feet, he charged at Reeve watching as he swung the gun towards his head. Only just managing to duck in time to avoid impact, the dirty blonde haired man gathered all the strength he could muster in his arm and threw his hardest punch directly into Reeve's gut. Unfortunately, he was too busy gather strength while crouched to notice Reeve send a kick towards his feet, which connected firmly and sent Arddyn crashing to the ground.

Reeve quickly spun upward. His gun was pointed towards Arddyn's head, while he put his foot on Arddyn's chest. As he looked down at Arddyn, he noticed he had great potential, but needed to train a bit. "You are good," Reeve explained. "But it seems that you might need more training." He looked at Arddyn, hoping for a reply, yet not expecting a continued fight.

Arddyn looked up at Reeve and just smirked at him as he took this moment to gather his thoughts and plan out his next move. Even though it seemed that Reeve had the advantage of a gun and the fact that he had a foot on his chest, didn't make Arddyn falter even for a second.
"You can't seen anything yet!" He growled as he quickly brought one hand up and locked it tightly around Reeve's ankle. At the same time, the dirty blonde haired man lifted up his second arm and using his thumb and index finger, pinched and pulled as hard as he could at the tendon that was located behind his knee of the leg that was used to pin him down. If Arddyn was lucky and used enough strength, he might snap this tendon and leave Reeve's leg completely useless.

Reeve felt a pain in his leg, though he didn't move. He was waiting to see if Arddyn could actually make his leg useless. So far, Arddyn failed. "You really think you can do it, don't you?" Reeve said. He was still pointing at Arddyn, not moving an inch. He began to look into his eyes, seeing something, but not able to point it out. Reeve bent towards Arddyn, still keeping his gun pointed at him.
"Why do you hate Shin-Ra so much?" Reeve asked, trying to understand Arddyn's anger. Maybe it was because Shin-Ra killed his family. Maybe it was because Shin-Ra injected him with Jenova cells. Maybe it was both, but Reeve was unsure until he would receive an answer from Arddyn himself.

Arddyn growled at Reeve after he finished speak and as the smartly dressed man leaned into speak to the mechanic, Arddyn lifted up his hand and grabbed onto the end of Reeve's gun, pulling the barrel down towards his own face while at the same time, pulling Reeve down with it.
As one arm pulled down, do did the other arm shoot upwards, with a clenched fist that connected sweetly on the side of the black haired man's jaw. Hopefully the punch had enough power to get him off, so that Arddyn could get back to his feet.

Reeve flew to the ground, but stood up as quick as he fell. He aimed his gun at Arddyn as he stood. They both stopped and looked at each other. Reeve wanted to fire, but withheld himself, that way his men won't think he's a fugitive. He stared again into Arddyn's eyes, still wondering what was with him.
"I'll take it something bad enough happened," Reeve assumed. "But what exactly happened?" He hoped for an answer this time. Still standing, he awaited a reply from Arddyn.

Arddyn now slowly got to his feet, taking his time and dusting off his clothes until he finally looked up and made eye contact with Reeve once again. A glare simply shone from his eyes for a moment as the young mechanic listened to the wind blowing from outside the church for a brief second. Lifting up a hand, Arddyn ran his fingers through his hair before adjusting the bandanna that donned his forehead, keeping his hair and any sweat away from his eyes. Arddyn didn't answer right away as he cast a glance over his shoulder away from Reeve and towards the two men dressed as SOLIDER 2nd Class. Examining one of the men for a moment, the dirty blonde haired man bent down and picked up his spear from the floor, resting it against his shoulder as he returned his eye sight to Reeve.
"You people destroyed my life... You kill my parents and forced me to work endless hours in that filthy abomination of a building!!!" He snarled, pointing to the ruined Shin-Ra HQ that could just be seen poking up from one of the many holes in the roof of the church. He looked away from the building and the three other men who surrounded him and cast his glance to the floor, holding back the bad memories that still haunted him to this day.

Reeve smirked slightly. "That must have been after a resigned," he said to himself. He still looked into Arddyn's eyes, noticing the anger and hatred towards Shin-Ra. Soon he raised his gun at Arddyn, preparing to continue testing Arddyn's power.
"You still have a bit more I want to see," Reeve said to Arddyn. Then, when the silence was reached, he shoot a bullet at Arddyn, trying to start the battle up again, yet trying to miss simultaneously.

Arddyn's eyes snapped opened and glared at Reeve as he heard the bullet fire. He only just had enough time to react, raising up his spear and deflecting the bullet skywards, that shot through the roof, like the previous bullet that his his spear. A small chunk of rubble from the ceiling came crashing to the ground. The Cid look-alike dived backwards out the way, opening the gap between him and the smartly dressed man.
"What's wrong with you?! Do you want to get yourself killed, cuz I haven't even warmed up yet! So I warn you again, stand down and stop trying my patience!!" Arddyn shouted, ordering as if he were a general of an army and he were commanding his troops. The dirty blond haired man jumped backwards once more and found himself up to his shins in flowers. The bright colours and wonderful smells drawn his eyes down and away from Reeve, who seemed determined to push Arddyn to the limit.

Reeve lowered his gun, putting his other hand in his pocket. He looked at Arddyn once more before looking down. In his hand that was in the pocket was an amulet-type necklace, inscribed with the letters "EPO". Looking up at Arddyn, Reeve threw the amulet towards him. "Do you wish to join?" Reeve asked. It seemed unusual to go from attacking someone to asking them to join your defensive group, but that's Reeve for you.
Waiting for a reply Reeve ordered his men to follow him as he began to walk out of the church. He stopped in front of th door way as his men repeated his action. He looked over his shoulder and spoke. "Contact me if you wish to help," he stated.
As Reeve began walking again, he felt a presence, not Arddyn's though, a fifth to the church. He quickly turned around as he yelled, "Duck!" to Arddyn. As soon as he said this, he fired his gun at a man behind Arddyn. This man seemed to try and kill them. He hoped that Arddyn would react in time to dodge the bullet.

Arddyn watched and the small necklace looking amulet bounced against the floor and skidded to a halt with a gentle tinkle a small distance away from the flowers. He looked at it for a second before raising up his eyes to meet with those of the smartly dressed man and the two SOLDIER Second Class look-a-likes. Cid's younger brothers eyes weren't angry anymore, but more confused. He watched the three men walk away from him and head towards the entrance to the church.
"How do I contact you though? I don't know you're number..." He called out to Reeve as he walked away from him. Thats when he saw Reeve turn around and shout "Duck" at him before raising his weapon once more and aiming it straight at him. Arddyn did duck, but also span around while crouching to see what was behind him, and upon noticing it was a human, Arddyn stuck out his spear and tripped the man up, who fall heavily on his back with a loud thud, and also missing the bullet fired from Reeve's gun that seemed to be aimed to kill him.
Arddyn scrambled to his feet and stamped on the fifth man's chest with his foot, pushing down and sticking the tip of his spear at his throat, glaring at him with once again, cold eyes. Here he waited for Reeve to catch up and check to see if this was the fugitive they were after.

Reeve ran over to see who it was. He noticed something familiar about the fifth person. Yet, the identity escaped his mind. Then, in an instant, Reeve remembered where he'd seen this man before. It was the escaped fugitive. He quickly grabbed the handcuffs behind his back, and bent down to put them on the fugitive, lifting Arddyn's foot off as he pick the man up.
"Doctor Franklin Rivera, I place you under arrest of the EPO. You shouldn't have stolen those artifacts from the museum," Reeve said to the man as he slowly walked out of the church. He stooped and looked back at Arddyn, answering his question. "Just press the button on the side and it will act as a radio.
Reeve push the fugitive towards on of his men. As the soldier caught him, the three left the church, hoping to get him to the authorities without anything weird happening.

Arddyn watched the men leave with the fugitive and once they were out of sight, leaving the church, the blonde haired man walked forwards and knelt down, picking up the amulet and examining it for a moment, turning it over in his hands a couple of times. Thats when he looked up and turned around, glancing at the bullet hole in the wall behind him that was caused from Reeve's gun as he fired at the fugitive. Curious, Arddyn walked up to the hole in the wall and examined it, running his fingers over it before standing up and positioning himself in front of the hole, noticing that the bullet would have hit the fugitive square in the chest.
Arddyn stepped away from the wall and turned his eyes back to the door that Reeve left through. "I don't trust him... Why'd he try and kill that fugitive I wonder...?" He asked himself out loud before looking at the flowers that seemed to bloom without trouble in the middle of the church.
