As the barrier containing Alpha intensified, the barrier containing Tifa weakened. She could tell by the dim light the barrier emmitted from the walls. Tifa stepped and once more conjured a stronger fire spell, confident she was going to escape this time. As the blaze grew bigger from within the barrier, the heat intenisfied. Bead-sized drops rolled down ths side of her face, focusing with all her might not to cook herself alive whilst being trapped in this mako-cage The barrier containing her suddenly split, and deactivated. Tifa fell to her knees, trying to catch her breath and wiped away the sweat off her brow. The sides of right arm was badly burned and her attire was semi-charred. Cloud had managed to escape his confinement as well, only to have been caught once more by one of the Genesis copies. Copy 120 attempted to smother the chocobo-haired man. Tifa was tempted to conjure another spell at her adversary, but she felt weak and drained from all magic previously casted. Without any hesitation, Tifa got up her feet and dashed towards the Genesis-copy (120) and tackled him. Both light and dark demons had escaped, hiding within the confines of darkness. Duorzum sharply shrilled a whistle at such a high frequency, only Alpha could hear it. The mechanical demon then nodded in understanding, and proceeded to do what had been suggested before. Activate the Cerberus Kiryu program. "Cerberus Kiryu, engage!" The program was kicked into activation, like booting a computer. The protective plate came down over the Power Core, effectively ceasing the draining of mako. Gears grew and shifted, wires extended and were rearranged. He was transforming. A giant claw... An enormous tail... Metal wings with synthetic membrane skin.... The mako barrier, even though it had been intensified, was drained away with a sudden metallic screech. What stood there was an enormous three headed metal dragon, mako dripping freely from its mouths like molten rock, or drool. The glow from the dripping mako reflected in the triple pairs of eyes, nostrils, and mouths, giving the faces and eerie blue-green glow. The plates of thick metal that was its body were gently shimmering with the mako that it had absorbed. Meet Kiryu Alpha. Both light and dark demons had smirks on their faces, and they said simultaneously, "Kiryu Alpha." (( Cerberus is a three headed dog. Kiryu means "metal dragon" in japanese. Put the two and two together. Plus I like the name Kiryu.  )) Copy 120 was taken by suprise, he had been so focused on making the blonde-haired man pay for harming 119 that he hadn't noticed the woman break free of her barrier...suddenly she was upon him, pummeling him to the ground... with a sudden roar that seemed to happen in slow motion Copy 120 turned while falling and landed on his hands & knees, then quickly spread his wing, knocking the annoying woman far away until she hit the weakened barrier around Alpha with a sicking thud...she was still moving, but stunned... quickly Copy 120 got back on his feet and realized his sword had been swiped right out from under him... the woman!!!! She STOLE it!?he tought to himself in shock as he shook his head to clear it he realized that the weapon had been her objective when she attacked him... Quickly, Copy 120 raised his com... 120: [glow=red,2,300] "This is C 120, Requesting IMMEDIATE reinforcements!"[/glow] he then whirled to the man h had been about to kill...and froze...he was gone... 120: [glow=red,2,300]"WHERE DID HE GO!?"[/glow]Copy 116 slowly got up off the ground, he was covered in residual mako from the shattered barrier... 116: [glow=red,2,300] "wh-when she knocked you down sir...it broke the connection...and he escaped..."[/glow] Copy 120 let out a roar of frustration and rage and whirled around, looking for a target to vent his anger on...and spotted Alpha... 120: [glow=red,2,300] "what in the-"[/glow] 120 froze in mid sentence as suddenly all the Copies began to glow a deep Blood Red...and a dark and onimious figure silently landed on the level above the fight scene... ? ? ? ? ? ? ?: [glow=red,2,300]"Stand down..."[/glow]the figure said in a voice that pierced the noise of the fighting with cold malice... Immediately all the barriers vanished in a deafening whoosh...and the Copies took to the air...landing behind the man who glared at the intruders with eyes of Pure Mako... |

Cloud, with the barriers disappearing, tries to catch his breath because of the effects of the barrier and what it was doing. Cloud stood back up on his own two feet and he fixes himself and his stance. However, realizing that since his barrier had released the others might have gone away too, Cloud quickly rushes over to Tifa and his other allies. He stood in his trademark fighting stance, his right foot was behind him with his left foot in front of him. He held his sword in front of him with both hands.
Cloud looked for the man that called the copies back, he was obviously pulling the strings here. That man was most likely Genesis. Cloud had not fought Genesis before but he was probably going to be more of a pain than Sephiroth ever was. Cloud pulled out the last attachment. With The First Tsurugi in his right hand and the last switchblade in his left hand, he prepared for what was going to go down. But he spotted a pair of eyes, they were of the Mako color. He tighten up his defensive stance, as he was adamant in his resolve to protect his friends. Cloud was going to face him and Cloud was going to win.

"Heh..thanks.." Azul took the elixir and drank it with 1 big gulp. "Things is begining to get interesting..." He looked up to Belzee, expecting him to tell him what's going to happen. However, Belzee didnt even bother to give Azul a glance..as expected. Azul saw one of the copies being knocked down and wanted to aid him when he heard a chilly voice, "stand down." Azul stopped in mid rush. The voice spoke of power, of arrogance...but most importantly..of death.

As Tifa tackled the Genesis-copy, his sword dropped to the ground. She clutched onto it without hesitation and without a second thought. With one quick motion of his wing, it knocked Tifa off her feet again hitting the walls of the barrier Alpha had escaped from. She hit her head hard, and was on the verge of losing conciousness, but the will to keep on fighting and staying alive kept her vigilant and awake. She continued to grasp onto blade she took - although Tifa had no skills whatsoever in handling such a weapon, she had the advantage leaving him unarmed... that is, until he got it back.
Cloud approached by her side with his usual fighting stance. Soon afterwards, another figure appeared a level above them. It was hard to tell at this point, but his voice was cold and malevolent... it had been a while since she last heard a voice this evil...
Is this the 'him' that copy was referring to?

The three heads hissed their disapproval when the new guy appeared. Duorzum did not say a word, but the other two demons snarled in rage. Who was this guy?
Kiryu Alpha roared a synthetic roar, then glared daggers at the man. It was clear they wanted to know who he was. Mako gas oozed from the nostrils, liquid mako dripped from metal teeth, and the glow illuminated the dragon faces.
They were ready to fight, but not before learning the truth, if it was given to them.

Cloud quickly rushes over to Tifa and his other allies. He stood in his trademark fighting stance, his right foot was behind him with his left foot in front of him. They were ready to fight, but not before learning the truth, if it was given to them. the new figure, covered in shadows, slowly raised one arm, as he did so a GIGANTIC black wing errupted from his left shoulder...the wing's length was longer than the man's body... feathers of black midnight slowly drifted down around the intruders...reflecting bits of light as they floated on the air... the man continued to stare directly at Cloud... sunndenly he began to smirk, then slowly he broke into laughter so wicked that it made all the copies behind him start cowering...they new that laugh...it was the laugh of condemnation... the man slowly, gracefully, began to walk forward until only part of a blood red glove was visible, just inches infront of him... ? ? ? ? ? ? ?: [glow=red,2,300]"So...you ARE the one who was with Zack all those years ago...interesting...very interesting..."[/glow]he took another small step and now most of him became visible...everything except his head was now in the light... he grined visiously as he saw some of the intruders recognise who he was... |

Cloud, in facial expression, showed some anger. However, his voice did not speak with anger. His voice was in limbo between happiness and anger. His voice was somewhat normal but it leaned toward angry nonetheless. Cloud's face turned from anger almost to the point when it might have crossed into hate, however, The Seven Virtues would not allow Cloud to hate. This occured when his wing arose and when his sick laughter broke the silence.
Cloud, Tifa and her friends were in for one big fight. This wouldn't be one in their favor but if the big blue man were to interfere, then it wouldn't look to good on Cloud's side of the fence. Cloud stepped forward in front of the group, telling the evil man with his movements to fight him and leave Tifa and her friends out of it.

Tifa continued to clutch onto the sword she stole from that Genesis copy, pointing it directly at the winged figure. Although she had no knowledge or experience fighting with a blade as this, her time with Cloud showed her a thing or two about how to hold it, how to handle it, protectively and offensively.
The man's large black wing intimidated her and his voice was just as malicious as death itself, but her mind was set on dealing all sorts of damage... she just felt so angry. After all that was done. All that was happening. All they intended on doing... she had enough.
Cloud approached the figure shrowded in darkness with sword in hand. She extended her own hand as if to stop him but she knew... he intended to fight against the man alone without their aid. She looked onto the three demons then to Duorzum, reading their faces if they should fight alongside Cloud, or stay in the sidelines...

Genesis: [glow=red,2,300]"So...it has come to this then..."[/glow]Genesis quickly and eligantly jumped down to the same level as Cloud while the copies formed a circle around the two of them and seal them inside a MASSIVE mako barrier, blocking them from all sight... he gracefully began to circle around Cloud, Genesis: [glow=red,2,300]"The battle of the beasts will bring about this world's end..."[/glow]He glared a Cloud with prue evil in his eyes... [glow=red,2,300]"and your sacrifice...the end of the world"[/glow]suddenly Genesis launched himself at Cloud violently slashing downward and running the blade along Cloud's sword until landing a glancing blow to his shoulder... without heasatating Genesis backwinged and jumpd back, avoidig any retaliation... |

Kiryu Alpha let out a synthetic challenge roar at the mystery guy, as if taunting him to attack him. Cosmic and Nytemyre could only watch; if they transformed, then they would die soon after the transformation ended. Duorzum, on the other hand, seemed to glare daggers at the fellow poking away at Cloud, "Battle of the Beasts? What's this about?"
Seriously, what was it about?

Cloud stepped back slowly as his opponent jumped from the sky down to his level. Cloud had to win this one, he just had to. Not that Cloud was boastful in anyway but if he couldn't do it then who would? Who could? Cloud gripped his two swords tightly. The copies of Genesis surrounded the two former warriors that were once affiliated with ShinRa. They then made a massive mako barrier, in which incased the two super warriors. Cloud wasn't sure if Tifa could see inside or not, Cloud thought what if it was a dome of which the ones inside could see the outside but the ones that were outside could not see inside. It would be good if it was this way, that way Tifa couldn't see, so she wouldn't have to worry. But wouldn't this scenario make her worry all the more?
Cloud, looking at Genesis circle around him, didn't know Genesis' style, but by the looks of things, he reminded Cloud of Sephiroth a lot. So maybe Genesis likes to play with his opponents first. So Cloud would have to prepare for his "mind games". Lost in his thoughts, Genesis surprised Cloud with an attack. Cloud's eyes widened, and he sidestepped and gave a 360 degree slash with his body turning with his blades. Cloud's face hardened and he spoke back to Genesis.
"No...this fight will bring about...YOUR END!!!
Cloud jumped toward Genesis and gave a forceful downslash of his own with his First Tsurugi onto Genesis' head, while gripping the last attachment, the switchblade idle for defense.

As Cloud turned, he saw Genesis jump backwards again. Cloud charged in and gave Genesis a flurry of slashes to keep Genesis on his toes. As the flury of strikes came at him, Genesis errected a barrier around himself and the blows glanced off harmlessly...as the last stirke hit, the barrier gave a final flash and then dissolved into Mako vapor... Genesis grined... [glow=red,2,300]"I see...so you've grown stronger sinse then..."[/glow]before he had finished the last word, Genesis violently hurled a MASSIVE fire spell directly at Cloud's head, the instant the spell was cast Genesis leaped over Cloud, slashing diagonally downard at the neck as he passed over his opponnent, before landing behind him and exicuting a barrage of savage slashes at Cloud's exposed backside... |

Before he knew it, Cloud was hitting a mako barrier. Cloud was about to let up on his attack but got another idea. If he can't find an opening, he would just simply make one for himself. He succeeded in doing so, and stopped his onslaught. Genesis spoke some words, then casted a Fire spell. Cloud was caught by surprise, and with quick thinking, he siderolled to avoid the Fire attack and what seemed to be a follow-up attack as he felt a breeze sweep past him. It was most likely Genesis's blade. Cloud sure wished that he had some materia on him. His eye caught Genesis going in with attacks on his own. Cloud decided to meet him halfway. Cloud met Genesis blow for blow, resulting in sparks from the swords colliding. Cloud was instead going to outlast Genesis, so he could have the final strike.
