“Kill her and I’ll have no excuse not to kill you pal!” yelled the man with the machine gun known as Barret. Belzee did not find any value in the man’s words, especially when he summoned Infrit. Belzee was unnerved by the threat that was directed towards him, which was evident by the absence of movement. It was like a squirrel trying to talk to a robot. He continued to stare at Duorzum while Genesis sliced off Infrit’s head from its torso. “Nothing more than mako,” murmured Belzee as Ifrit’s head and body collapsed and dissipated in defeat. Again, he had said something that would seem strange. His words contrasted the way he spoke. He described the creature as nothing more than mako, but the way he said it showed otherwise.
In what appeared to be an act of compliance, Duorzum tossed the materia towards Belzee. He then caught it with his free hand and gazed at it within his palm before wrapping his fingers around it. After, he sought an action that would be questionable to any observer. He slowly kneeled forward and cautiously laid the female, Tifa, onto the surface where she was lifted from. The sudden action that belzee had taken was in no doubt something that was questionable. It was not only a perfect opportunity to kill her at the time, but he was able to use her as a shield and victim of her allies’ attacks.
He slowly stood up and brought his eyes towards the materia in his palm. The materia suddenly broke into free particles, whether it was a trick or brutal force, nevertheness, the materia was freed from its solid structure. It was like a child crushing a ball of snow in his palm. His gazing eyes at that moment sparked a hint of nostalgia. It eventually disappeared as he slowly turned away and stared at Barret. Belzee had overheard the words from the blond individual named Cloud, and he was especially aware of what Duorzum had unleashed. However, Belzee didn’t seem to display any intention of fighting, but somehow a condescending atmosphere.
