Cloud looked to him as he jumped to a great height and killed one of the soldiers. Cloud was not the only one who had been injected with Mako and Jenova Cells. Both Cloud and his friend Zack were once Shinra experiments. Those were very bad times. But now Cloud was back on his feet, and it looked as if Zack was going to stay for a while, because Cloud was not going to let him die again. Cloud was ready to fight, win then go back to his life of solitude.
When Cloud appeared on the scene, he saw a man in marron-colored clothing. During the battle, Cloud had seemed to have lost him in the ensuing battle that was currently taking place. He then looked around for the man, who was most likely the one who started all of this. Cloud had finally spotted him. He was with what seemed to be a sharpshooter. Cloud then looked very closey, only to find out that he was not being aimed for but rather his partner in crime at the moment.
"Look out!!"
Cloud then ran with great speed, and used the flat side of his large sword to block the bullet. Cloud has had great experience with with guns. After facing Yazoo and Loz a few times, he trained himself while he was away. He then looked to Zack, making sure he was alright.

Zack was shocked. I could have died again the same way I did before. He thought to himself. "Thanks." He told Cloud as Zack looked back toward the direction where Cloud was looking and saw the sniper and a man in red that brought back bad memory's. "Genesis, Cloud we have to get to him." Zack said as he pointed in that direction. Your suppose to be dead. he thought to himself as he had a flashback of Genesis getting beat.Zack remembered seeing, and hearing Genesis earlier but thought his mind was playing tricks on him.It really was you damn

Cloud looked back to where he had before, after being told by his friend that this man was indeed Genesis. Everything inside Cloud sank, as he began to remember what exactly this man was capable of. And as much as Cloud knew, this man must be stronger then Sephiroth, if not then equal to him. Cloud gripped First Tsurugi tightly, and waited for his new enemy's next move. Cloud, knowing that Zack knows this as well, knew that they would end up fighting this guy. For a guy this strong, Cloud didn't think 2 on 1 would be enough, even if it was Cloud and Zack.
Cloud watched Genesis's movements closely. He appeared to have snapped his fingers, and upon the snap out came hundreds upon hundreds of more soldiers that surrounded. Cloud then looked around him and then toward Zack.
"I don't think we can get to him right now..."
Cloud held out his sword with one hand and gripped it tightly. His eyes became to glow in the color of Mako. His sword then became to glow the same. He then looked to Zack to check if he was ready to charge.

Zack mouth dropped as he saw the rockets but it quickly closed and he became fierce Zack was preparing to charge and held his sword so tight that it seemed as it was part of him. "Ready." Zack yelled as he began to leap.

Cloud jumped a great height and slammed his gigantic sword into the ground, causing a shockwave. Cloud then began to slash his way around, while being able to keep an eye out on Zack. Genesis had tried to take out Zack before, and since he failed the first time, he is going to want to do it again. Cloud was sure to look out for him again. But in all the fighting, Cloud could not find Genesis anywhere. This could mean nothing but trouble. With that in mind, Cloud raced to Zack's side and was sure to guard him, just in case he tried to take another shot.
