alright so I just made an account, and ready to rules and what not. Now I'm wondering what the limitations are to a new character?
Can I have any weapon/equipment/accessory to start with? If so, can I make my own equipment and accessory?
Sorry if this is posted somewhere and I just over looked it.

The only rule concerning initial weapons, armor, accessories, etc, is that whatever you state in your profile, you use for role-play ONLY. Players are free to choose from In-Game based weapons/armor/whatnot or their own custom designs, if they prefer. However, it's slightly different in the Gold Saucer's arena should you choose to participate. In the Gold Saucer, you may only use equipment that have been purchased through stores. Here, you may also request a custom weapon/armor. To do so, just contact Oweed or have a browse through the stores section. I hope this helps ^^ |

alright gotcha...so in the arena, if I wanted to use my guns I would need to ask permission

Permission isn't neccessary. In the arena, you just have to state what weapons you will be using; ether your initial weapons (which will be stated in your character application) or store-bought weapons.

o ok, so my weapons are fine, its just the materia and equipment that doesn't carry over?
