.:Angel of Darkness:. "Ever since I was a child... I knew I was different..." ooc: Ok, This rp is open to everyone, obviously. I just hope this turns out to be a fun and long-lived thread. The basic plot is set around SOLDIER and Shin-ra, but anyone can join. Turks, or anyone else on this site... Just find a way to wriggle into the RP.
Please read CAREFULLY
- No auto-hitting if a fight breaks out, no Godmode or Powerplay. The usual RP rules.
- Try to post AT LEAST two full paragraphs, please... RP is no fun if those involved don't have much to reply to. Not to mention that utterly destroys roleplay muse; when you gotta somehow make a decent post off a few sentences from a recent reply. I'm speaking from experience, here... Sooo yeah... Just keep that in mind.
Setting and basic Plot: It takes place in the mid-life of Crisis Core, so Sephiroth has not gone insane yet. He won't get close to that stage in this rp. (This is after Angeal dies, for Crisis Core players, but before the Neibelheim incident) While everything seems at ease, there is a sort of investigation pending.
Strange, unsigned letters have been intercepted; and it seems a new plot has risen to bring about Shin-ra's downfall. The group is so far unnamed, but the situation is getting out of control. People who have been sent out on mission by Shin-ra have returned either dreadfully wounded, or not returned at all. Each failed mission is accompanied by a symbol written on paper, usually attached to victims' shirts. attempts to follow the shady characters committing such crimes have proved a waste of time. Tracking them seems impossible.
News of the problem has somehow leaked out of classified zones, and almost all of Midgar knows. Many Shin-ra employees have retired or deserted, fearing the unnamed organization. Those who remain loyal find it hard to trust each other; anyone in Shin-ra could be a spy. Missions have been few, as people fear never returning. Even SOLDIER is having trouble. Many SOLDIERs have deserted, leaving the faithful and brave ones who remain thin in number.
But now, SOLDIER has no choice but to act; despite the failed and lost missions. A massive massacre took place in Junon Harbor, leaving many of the denizens dead or wounded; and the city is in chaos. Civilians are terrified, and things are slowly falling into complete loss of control. The best of the best are going to be sent out. A select few will be chosen, Sephiroth has been assigned to lead the mission of finding the source of the organization. Another goal includes calming the terrified civilians. He was told to chose a few other SOLDIERs, disregarding rank, to accompany him. There was only one lead available for this investigation.
Post Order:
I will add to this as more people join. Let's keep this organized!
- Sephiroth
- Yazoo
- Sisilaya
- Zero
- Kyrie
- ...
- Etc.
bic:
The black boots made no noise on the tile floor, a brief flicker of silver was all that passing people could see. He was in rather a hurry, having just come from the president's office. Stepping into an elevator, he impatiently jabbed the 49th floor button; the SOLDIER floor. Despite the many unpleasant thoughts curling through his head, he couldn't help but feel a flash of amusement. How many would have trampled each other to go with him on this mission? This was a top secret matter, and no one aside from the President and himself knew of this mission. But if they had been told, who would be brave enough to come? He had a sneaking suspicion that very few would accept the mission; but if it meant going with the Hero... Well... They would be lining up... That was why he would be careful when, where, and who he chose.
As the metal box moved upward, he felt himself slipping away... More unwelcome thoughts filtered through his already cluttered mind. Angeal was dead... Genesis had deserted and begun a war... Monsters were all over the world, growing more vicious. The world itself seemed to be slowly dying... At least the Midgar world. Terror was commanding every action, every thought. This Organization was definitely leaving its mark on history... What were they planning exactly? Why were they destroying Shin-ra? There were just so many questions... And far too few answers...
As he stepped out of the elevator, the green-blue eyes flashed around; disgust starting to filter through the calm. It was so calm... So quiet... There were no excited voices chattering about upcoming missions, goals achieved, or just mere gossip. The floor itself, once bustling with activity, was almost deserted. All he saw was a 3rd class rounding a corner ahead of him. "Cowards..." He hissed under his breath. All those deserters... They had never been willing to put their life at risk...
He turned his feet toward the training room. He would need skilled SOLDIERs with him; and the wisest ones would be perfecting their skills in the room instead of hanging around all worried. The door slid open in front of him, and he stepped in. The tall man walked to the window, and gazed in at those training inside the room. A few SOLDIERs who were in the outer room, also watching; seemed to hold their breath. It was common knowledge that Sephiroth came in here to inspect training. It he was impressed, he often went into the training room himself to test the others. But.. He was never easily impressed...
His arms were crossed as he stared into the room, eyes narrowed in alertness. He watched every sword movement, every shift of the feet. And the quiet around him seemed to grow thicker. There were only 3 other SOLDIERs in there, waiting for their turn in the room. But he felt like a crowd was behind him; gazes boring into his back. Taking a deep breath, he refocused on the training. Spectators didn't matter. he was only bringing the best with him; the most fearless and the most brave. Obviously, no one would be completely unafraid, that was just downright impossible; not to mention absolutely stupid... Even he had an uncomfortable feeling of anxiousness rolling around in his gut. But what made him different from the rest; he was determined to succeed... And would do whatever it took to uncover these Shin-ra foes and end them.

Darkness. It was... strangely comforting. The neverending abyss held a certain sense of serenity. A world shrouded from the horrors that lie just in front of closed eyelids. Maybe... maybe staying forever in this state wouldn't be such a bad thing. But, of course, nothing could last forever.
There was a roaring in Yazoo's ears as conciousness slowly filled his senses. No... now that he had enough sense to truly think he identified the sound as the steady drone of machinery mingled with the sound of what must be running water, or a liquid of some sort. His eyeslids forced themselves open. His brain shrieked in protest as light sliced across his vision. A splitting headache hit his brain almost instantly. Humph. Maybe I should just go back to sleep. He thought bitterly, exhaling a deep breath and watching a steady stream of bubbles rise where the air had exited his body. So he was indeed in some sort of liquid.
He could just barely make out a convorsation going on outside his little prison. He could only pick out a few different words, such as S cells... Jenova... Sephiroth... His mind tuned out the noise after that. Sephiroth... why did that name seem so familiar? Yazoo was convinced he'd never been outsde this tank, so why did he recognize these words? He shook his head to dissmis these thoughts, causing his suspended silver hair to stir ever so slightly. Why bother with such things?
OOC: Just in case it wasn't clear, he's in one of those Mako-tank thingamabobs in the Shin-Ra labs. If I recall correctly, there was one on the SOLDIER floor, right?

The first thing that registered in her mind was the constant sound of a bleep, before the sensation of the rest of her body started to register. A bleep, a high tone with a constant interval of a heartbeat, registering in her mind in the haze of what felt like a dream. Tilting her head slightly upwards her lips parted in a soft sigh, the air thick in her throat.
Too thick.
That registered in her brain as odd, so finally, still in the haze of what seemed to be a dream she opened her heavy eyes. Yet, all she saw was the world through a green haze. She was floating, floating on a green haze. It was all surrounding her, making her feel light, making her float. Float in this green abyss.
There drifted a woman with long coppery red hair, her skin bare, devoid of the leather battle gear they had found her in when she had fallen to Terra. She had been near death when the medical staff had been alerted, had initially supposed to have been brought to the hospital. That was, until an eyewitness had seen her fall, it seemed like she had fallen right out of the sky. The inferno she had used to break her fall had charred almost an entire field of crops, but it probably had saved her life. That same thing was the reason why the farmer in Kalm had refused to even come near the woman that moaned in pain. Instead he had called ShinRa, for it was them who knew how to deal with those kind of cases.
And of course the farmers description had spiked their interest when they arrived shortly after at the scene with some medics, a scientist and a few cadets just in case. On further inspection, the woman was littered in wounds, knife and bullets alike. It was a miracle she had not died yet of the sheer blood loss. Yet, the charred black field around them told them enough this woman wasn't exactly normal. Nor was the fact that her body and weapons were completely devoid of any fire materia. They had cast sleep on her to take her out of her pain, but instead of a hospital they had brought her to the ShinRa labs. This 'specimen' required a thorough investigation, or so they thought.
And thus this was why the red haired woman was floating in a rejuvenation tank, the mako surrounding her bare body, healing it in ways human hands never could. Her skin was almost nearly flawless now, save for the old scars she already had. A curious long one that started at the nape of her neck and went almost halfway down to her spine. She had looked to be about her mid twenties, but they'd have to check on her dentals later to know her exact age. Nearby, the had her clothing hung over a metal bar. Full leather, reinforced in crucial places. But yet again, no materia or even slots where materia could be stored. Her two identical guns and two identical daggers laid nearby on a desk, also devoid of any magical interference.
The team was suddenly alerted as the bleeping signalling her heart started to speed up, the sleep spell was starting to lose it's power on her. Her hooded eyes opened slowly, drowsily through long lashes. The crowded at the pod to have a closer look at her now that she was finally coming by.
That's when everything started going wrong.
Her eyes opened fully when her eyes met theirs. Through the make they could not see her exact eye colour, but it seemed to be swirling. But no, on closer inspection it wasn't her eyes that were swirling, it was the mako around her that was swirling, swirling like hot air in a desert.
"Sir! The temperature in the pod is rising rapidly! I've never seen anything like this before!" A junior scientist squeaked, trying with the controls what he could.
"Repel it with cooling, start the cooling engine to stabilise the temperature." The older scientist with long black slick hair replied. The other gave an affirmative nod and started to work, the low rumbling sound of an engine under the floor rumbling up.
Time seemed to speed as the woman stared at them with a neutral face through the pod. It was eerie, someone was not supposed to wake up in the middle of a mako treatment like this.
"Sir! The engine is starting to overheat! It's coming into the red zone!" The junior squeaked. And sure enough, the lights in the lab started to flicker as the woman smiled almost serenely, the mako around her started to bubble. No, not bubble, boil.
"What in the name of.." The scientist muttered before there was a loud hiss, and all the lights went off. There was a click from all the pods in the lab, a safety mechanism that unlocked them in case of a power outage.Boiling hot mako rushed out of the pod as the glass slid open and everything turned into a chaos.
"We need reinforcement in the western lab! I don't care who you send, we need reinforcement now!!" Was shouted frantically over the intercom.
There the woman stood in the now empty pod, her green eyes softly glowing, her hair slick to her body, heavy with mako still. The steam still came off the liquid, and of her.
Yet her eyes did not seem to glow from anger, but panic.
[OOC: ho ho long post. I don't care who gets being sent down, maybe an open slot for other players as well. The reinforcement call was called over the intercom so probably anyone would have heard]]

The Fallen Feather;;~;There's no escape for me It wants my soul, it wants my heart, no one can hear me scream Maybe it's just a dream;~ Dim lights grew brighter as sapphire eyes opened, a stinging sensation went through the mind of the 2nd Class SOLDIER as they opened fully, the dim light seemed to intensify. Waves of pain erupted in her head, it sounded painful, but she could take it.
Why had she been sent out on that mission along with many others? So much... so much death... and screaming... what had happened? She could hardly remember what happened, she blacked out before anything could be registered, but when she woke up, she was being carried away on a strether in absolute pain and agony before falling unconcious once again.
Now she was fully awake, semi-better, but still had her injuries. Her left foot was in some sort of odd boot looking thing to support it, it had been broken, her arm was in a sling and her head had a bandage, followed by various bandages from where she had been stabbed it seemed. It was lucky that she got out alive, but she didn't feel that way.
A lot of people she knew had died, she just hoped others were alright, too. But it wouldn't make up for the lives lost. She slowly managed to lift herself up, groaning in the process, Fallen was beside her, the crystal blade shimmering softly. Before she could even do anything else, she cried out as a voice was heard over speakers.
"Damn it...!" the brunette silver streak haired girl hissed as she held her head, what the hell was going on now!?
"We need reinforcement in the western lab! I don't care who you send, we need reinforcement now!!"
Kyrie let out a frustrated sigh as she grabbed her blade and got off the infirmary bed. Sure, she was in no state to battle or even deal with chaos right now, but at least she was one of fewer SOLDIERs that remained loyal to ShinRa, as much as they didn't deserve it, but still.
As she limped towards the exit, the doors slid open and Kyrie went out, instantly heading towards the west lab. First day of full conciousness and already she was up, ready to clean up more of ShinRa's bullcrap.

.:Angel of Darkness:. "Ever since I was a child... I knew I was different..." There was absolutely nothing worth watching. The other three SOLDIER spectators were still whispering to each other, completely unaware that Sephiroth's hearing was stronger than their own.
"I heard he's been a bit weird recently. Apparently, he spends a lot more time in the president's office than he used to."
"What do you think they talk about about? I suppose it probably has something to do with that organization problem..."
"You think he'll test those two in the training arena? It's always interesting watching him beat down on others."
"Not a chance. Just look at him... I don't think he's interested in sparring right now..."
Sephiroth grimaced at the conversation. So that was it, then? They weren't here to train, they had been waiting for him to come in and test some 'unlucky victim'. Obviously, they were concerned about the Organization problems; but they didn't seem to have any intention of doing anything to help fight the danger. These guys were no better than the deserters...
Rather irritably, he spun around, and swept from the room; the black leather coat billowing out behind him. He was starting to get a bit ticked off. As far as he could tell, no one here was worth taking along, The President would probably agree. But going on the mission alone was dangerous, even for him. He settled for standing in front of the huge windows, looking out over Midgar. But the view of the dead earth all around the massive city was depressing. He would pick those to accompany him in a bit. Right now, he may as well stock up on a few supplies.
He walked down the hallway, soon arriving at the briefing room. He had his own, personalized storage locker; complete with fingerprint and eye scan. It was beyond impossible to get into his storage by force. He had tampered with the locker on multiple occasions, maximizing its security. When he had opened it, he carefully examined the rows of Materia. every single one seemed to radiate power. He had carefully mastered every one. Lightning, Fire, Ice... And maybe a few Command Materia and a summon or two... Having chosen his materia, he carefully pressed the small orbs to his right arm. 5 Materia there, and none in his left arm. Any Materia in his left arm could interfere with his Masamune's power. His chosen summon was Neo Bahamut. Now Materia, he wasn't too fond of using. The Masamune sufficed for him, it was all he really needed. But one couldn't be too careful, could he?
Locking the storage compartment, he was soon back out on the SOLDIER floor, and heading towards the elevators. It was then that static came of the intercom, and he froze, eyes flashing up to fix on the wall mounted speaker. the voice that came through was panicked, and he could hear chaos reigning in the background.
We need reinforcements in the western lab! I don't care who you send, we need reinforcements now!"
Sephiroth pulled out his cell phone and jumped into the elevator. The speed dial switched to western lab. He was struggling to contact the communication office in that lab. One of the terrified youth assistants got to the phone first. "This is Sephiroth, SOLDIER 1st Class. Whatever is going on in the office, tell your accomplices to contain the problem as long as possible. I am on my way." He snapped the phone shut, and started pacing. The laboratory floor was about 4 floors below the SOLDIER one, so it wasn't long before the door opened. he ran out of the small mechanical box, leaving a few fleeing scientists in absolute shock and he swept by them.
The door to the western lab seemed to be sealed shut, and he could feel the heat radiating through the metal door. The Masamune appeared in his left hand soundlessly, returning from its non-existent state to heed its master's call. A swift series of slashes in all directions left the door in bits, glowing cuts scarring it from the heat of the glowing blade. The doors fell down in 9 pieces, and he hurried into the lab. everything was out of control.
The main generator of the lab seemed to be at the verge of explosion, so he was forced to send Blizzaga magic to freeze the screeching bit of machinery. He turned to face the experimental pods, eyes narrowing dangerously. One of the pods had a silver-haired man in it. He didn't know why; but something about that man set his heart thumping rapidly. The other was a woman, and steam seemed to be rolling off her body in waves. And it was that lady whom he knew at once had caused all this trouble.
He moved towards her, the ten foot blade held parallel to the floor; unnaturally sharp tip aimed directly at the woman experiment's throat. It was mere centimeters from her neck when he stopped, blazing eyes fixed on her own. "Leaving so soon?" The soft words came.
Without looking away from the woman, he called to the lead scientist on the lab. "I suppose this is a valuable test subject, if you put someone so dangerous in this lab. You should have placed her in the top security laboratory..." He paused, then shook his head. It didn't matter. What was done, was done. "What should I do with her?" This was a science experiment, not a SOLDIER mission. He was here to help, not lead. So it was up to the lead scientists what was done now. He would worry about his own mission after this trouble was handled.
The Masamune remained steadily aimed at her throat, the blade pulsing with a purple energy.

The steady drone of machinery beeping only added to Yazoo's already splitting headache. He groaned, causing another stream of bubbles to rise in the green-ish liquid surrounding him. He had half a mind to tell these people to shut the confounded thing off.
Wait... One of his hands floated up to where his heart was, feeling the steady beating. That beeping was not his heart rate. There was more than just one experiment here. He turned his head stiffly to each side, seeing that he was indeed not alone. A woman was suspended in the same green-ish liquid as he was. A mane of red hair floated around her like waves of flame.
Huh... maybe it was flame. A heart began to seep into the pores of his skin, obviously not his doing. Confusion flickered across his face briefly. Was this her doing? The heat began to intensify, pushing beyong uncomfortable. It was almost painful.
Yazoo slithered to the ground as the door to his pod open, ragged gasps escaping his lungs. What was going on here?! He heaved himself to his hands and knees, looking weakly up at the woman creating this intense heat. On shaky legs, he was able to step down from his pod, having to suppourt himself on the nearby wall. Green eyes gazed quizzically at his fellow experiment, sending the silent message: Is this your doing?
He scrambled backward as the doors to the lab slid open, unsure how to feel. A man stood in the doorway, an impossibly long blade in his hand. Why did this man seem so familiar? Sephiroth... How did he know that name? This man was Sephiroth. Somehow, he just knew this. Why did this man, whom he'd never seen before, seem so familiar?

Her eyes narrowed just slightly when she felt the cold tip of a blade against her throat. Ah, something familiar. Yet, she couldn't help but raise a brow in astonishment when she looked up the side of the blade and realised the size of it. Yet the biggest surprise was the man wielding it, long silver hair and a pair of intimidating looking eyes. She had thought Deartian to be tall, but this man surpassed him by a good few inches. Just her luck.
Tilting her head slightly she sized the man up, fully aware of her state of undress and not liking it one bit. Yet, the calm facade vanished from her face when she heard him talk, not only was he challenging her.. they had been using her as a lab rat. Baring her teeth she snarled as fire slowly licked up her arm before disappearing into her skin again.
"Let me clear up one thing here, I am -not- a test subject, nor will I ever consent to being one."
Her eyes darted to the other silver haired man coming out of the pod beside her, she could almost feel his connection when he called out for her. Her eyes were hard, she knew her state was enough answer for the man. Looking back at the taller man before her she had a strange feeling the man from the pod and him were connected somehow.. if the identical hair and eye colour didn't give it away.
The head scientist emerged from the steam and walked up beside the silver haired man who currently had his blade's tip at the woman's throat. His coat was covered in Mako and he seemed to be sweating from the heat, but furthermore he looked fine.
"We'd like to keep her here for a while longer, examine her. She masters fire in a way that I've only seen few do, you being one of them. But the curious thing is, there isn't a trace of fire materia on her. We scanned her body while she was asleep, nothing at all. Nothing at all." he mused silently, before a smirk appeared on his thin lips. "perhaps.. perhaps she can be useful to the Jenova project.." the smirk changed into an outward grin and the hairs at the back of her neck rose in alarm at just the sight of it.
"Didn't I just make clear I'm not interested in being your lab rat?" She growled lowly, threateningly while the small puddle of Mako surrounding her feet started to boil again, the air about her wavering with warmth. Yet, making no move while the man still had the blade at her neck. She had no armour, no weapons, all the odds were against her.
She might have to start singing soon if things got out of hand.
"Let. Me. Go." She hissed at the scientist. Yet the man only looked up at the silver haired man in amusement.
"What do you think, Sephiroth? Gillian has gotten too old after all.."

The Fallen Feather;;~;There's no escape for me It wants my soul, it wants my heart, no one can hear me scream Maybe it's just a dream;~ Kyrie seethed through her teeth as she took a wrong step, causing her injured foot to bend slightly to the left, a shudder ran up her body, but she still progressed. Whether she was seen as stupid or loyal, she refused to just give up, as beaten and battered as she was, she still had a hell of a lot of fight in her, just her attacks would be much slower.
Just then, she saw a trail of silver hair disappear around the corner. Kyrie felt her heart leap at that moment, though somewhat not in the way that said she was in love, but at the same time, it did. Gah! No! She needed to be serious, not interruptions or distractions, the Golden Saucer needed to be forgotten right now, this was SOLDIER, fun time was over.
Using her sword like some sort of crutch, Kyrie turned the corner and headed towards the west lab, seeing the door being sliced to pieces by who she figured to be Sephiroth, who else had hair like his? No, really, that wasn't being obsessive, seriously... she hadn't met a guy with hair so long and well taken care of!
Shaking her head of useless thoughts, she limply ran after him and soon shuddered at the feel of intense heat. Great, bad enough she couldn't stand hot summers, a little warmth was alright, but this just made her dizzy, she preferred winter days to be honest. Ugh, her head was all over the place just lately, typical seventeen year old.
Still keeping herself up with her sword, Kyrie looked around the lab, was there ever a day where everything wasn't dramatic around here? Of course not...
She let a soft grunt like a hmph so people would know she was there, whether they acknowledged her or not, it didn't really matter, but right now, she was really in no mood to be pissed off. She was in pain, she had a headache, she just wanted this mess to be taken care of, but despite it, at her age it was hard to take her seriously when she was angry, it was surprisingly... cute?
"Now what? Honestly, can ShinRa not go a day without any drama?" she sighed before looking over at Sephiroth with his blade to a woman's throat, she chuckled nervously, deciding not to get inbetween Sephiroth and the woman, though... he wouldn't hurt her, they were friends... right?
Well, she hoped so. It was nice to know he saw her the same way he did towards Genesis and... oh... Angeal. Kyrie knew what had happened to him, it wasn't hard to notice her mentor's sudden depression due to the SOLDIER's death, she wondered how Sephiroth took it...
Kyrie sighed, she needed to be serious now, no more thinking. "Uhm, is that really necessary, Sephiroth?" she spoke calmly, though looked worried at the closeness of his blade "she hasn't done any harm at the moment, and I highly doubt she will... I'm not questioning her abilities, but it's not like she can get out of here anyway..."
She hoped she chose her words wisely just then and she didn't want it to seem like she wanted the woman to be kept here like a caged animal. Kyrie already knew how it felt to be kept in those damn pods, she shivered at the sight of the Mako. Watching the woman struggle was hard to witness, but Kyrie was didn't want to betray ShinRa... so she couldn't help, just merely follow orders but with regret and guilt in her eyes.
"I'll... just, uhh... leave you with her..." she chuckled nervously, only to end up groaning as she placed her good hand on her bandaged forehead, she basically looked like several trucks had run over her in a row.
The silver streaked brunette's gaze soon turned to the other silver haired man in the room. What the...?
Wow, she was sure she needed another break or maybe a vacation... this was too messed up.

.:Angel of Darkness:. "Ever since I was a child... I knew I was different..." "Not an experiment?" He said softly, raising an eyebrow. "Then what were you doing in an experimental test tube?" He watched in vague interest as fire flashed up her arm. He was completely ignoring the fact that she was naked. he wasn't a complete monster, and was purposely looking not at her, but at a broken tube right behind her. Peripheral vision was all he needed to look into her eyes. It was rather impressive that she displayed such fire mastery...
Then a familiar voice reached his ears, and he felt strangely lighter. Kyrie... He wanted to spin around and embrace her in his arms, but he was on Duty. "You're right kyrie... this isn't necessary." The Masamune began to lower, though it remained firmly held in his left hand. But the scientist's word immediately flared his usually well-contained temper. He slowly turned around, a powerful surge of anger and hatred exploding in the Mako-blue-green eyes. His body had become stiff. The blade of the Masamune suddenly pulsed powerfully as the purple glow of energy grew more intense.
It was now aimed at the lead scientist, pure fury making his hand shake slightly. "The Jenova Project was discontinued..." He practically hissed. "You have absolutely no authority or power to start up the project. I could turn you in for treason for merely considering the rebirth of such a project..." His mother... His mother had been a powerful being, but he knew very little about her. But he couldn't help but feel outraged at the possibility that it had been continuing in secret.
"But I would much rather cut you down right now; personally make you feel the pain and despair that your test subjects feel... You're lucky that you are far to valuable to Shin-ra to be disposed of..." He turned slightly, the blade lowering slowly again. He pointed at both the woman and the man who had been involved in the experimenting here. "They are no longer your responsibility..." he said in a deadly soft voice. "They will be coming with me for now. You'd better be grateful that I'm not turning you in at this exact moment... I am rather busy to do such a thing right now."
He would bring both of the test subjects with him, mostly out of sympathy. Besides, they no doubt believed Shin-ra was cruel through and through now. It was up to him to change that view. The president had said he was to bring some people with him; he hadn't specified what kind. Experiments, or former-experiments, were completely entitle to accompany him. But whether they remained with him or not, was up to them. he wasn't going to force anyone to come along. If they wanted to flee as soon as they were out of Midgar, he wouldn't stop them.
His gaze swiveled over to fix on Kyrie, and his sudden rage seemed to melt away. She was injured... Yet she had come down here to answer the stress call sent out. He hadn't known that she was among those injured... soon, he had approached her and was standing at her side. "You need to go back to the medical wing. I'll handle things here. Concentrate on getting well, ok? I must leave soon... When I return, I expect you to be healthy and waiting for me, got it?" He felt warm, pleasantly warm as his eyes met hers. All he wanted was for her to be ok...
He slowly turned away from her, and directed at the woman, "Get your clothes." And pointed at the chair where the clothes were. He walked over to the man on the ground, the one who set such a familiar feeling in him... "Can you walk?" He asked in genuine concern. He felt a connection with this man, though he had no idea where that connection had come from.

Yazoo nodded weakly, looking up to stare this man, Sephiroth, in the eyes. A pair of bright green, cat-like eyes blinked as he frowned in concentration. "Your name..." He said slowly, searching the Hero's face. "Is your name Sephiroth, by chance?" For some unknown reason, he was almost sure... no he was positive that he knew that he had the name right.
Jenova. That was another oddly familiar name. Jenova Project? Concentration thickned his green gaze once more. Was this how he was created? He had no memories of before he had woken up in the Mako tank. This could be it. After all, he'd never been even awake before now. His knowledge should be infantile at best. Yet, he suddenly felt capable of completing a difficult math problem.
At the mention of accompanying Sephiroth to wherever he had in mind, he felt a small surge of satisfaction. This was a good way to get some answers... about everything. The silver haired experiment suddenly realized that he too was without clothes, and his face flushed a burning crimson. "But... do you mind helping me find some clothes first?" He let out a nervous chuckle, attempting to force the blood out of his face.
OOC: Sorry for the shortness >.<

<I would like to join if thats OK > It is not ever yet.Zero was in the training room doing what he did best, training, training and even more training, if he wanted to reach his goal of being a first class and make everyone around him proud and impressed, he would have to do a lot more than this. He would take any opportunity, any chance, anything just to be good enough. He had alot of people he wanted to keep safe and protect. Though he was jealous of alot of people around him, other SOLDIERS, Genesis, Angeal, even his best friend Kyrie, but above all of them he was both jealous and hateful of one person.
The most loved and respected first class SOLDIER in all the Shinra building, he spat everytime his name was said. It was natural for him to get jealous, he even hated being in the same room as him. When he was going to finish an attack he nearly fell over when he heard the intercom went off saying there was trouble in one of the labs. This was great!!! He could help out with something for once.
"Zero Heart is on his way!!" he said with a cheer as he bolted out of the training room, ignoring the weird looks other people gave him, whatever they were too chocobo to even bother going out to help, they were cowards unlike him. He ran and ran down the halls until he finally reached the lab, the doors had been sliced off so he wondered what the real damage was.
When he got inside his hopes were crushed as he saw the man he completely hated had beaten him to it, like always!! Zero wanted to glare at the man but he didnt, he couldnt after seeing someone else in the room with them, pink appeared in his cheeks as he stared at least he felt better now. Kyrie... Zero was happy to see her but when he saw the state of her he nearly exploded with rage. What the hell happened!?!?! Zero was never well informed by anyone it annoyed him.
He scanned the area to see what the damage was, it looked like some experiments had gotten out. The look of mako bothered him as he took a step back from it, he hated mako too much made him ill. He looked at the ground to see a strange silver haired man but when his eyes looked at the red haired woman his cheeks went red and had to look away, he shouldve expected it but forgot because of the moment.
His purple and yellow eyes watched as Sephiroth went over to his best friend watching very closely, a hint of jealousy flared in his eyes when he frowned, who did that guy think he was? And why was he looking at her like that?? What does he mean by waiting for him...?
"She doesnt have to if she doesnt want to otherwise she wouldnt be down here" he said coldly as he joined Kyrie's side, he knew she was a good fighter so he wouldnt let Sephiroth tell her what she could and couldnt do. The rage and jealousy was still deep within him as he stared sharply at the general, glaring daggers at him. But getting angry wouldnt do much help for him so instead he looked at the red haired womans face, being sure not to gaze upon her body like some sort of pervert.
"How did you get out of those pods if you dont mind me asking? and who are you?" he asked being sure to still look at her, a little red appeared in his cheeks, he always got like this around pretty girls no matter where he was. Hopefully ero would be some help today.

She sighed softly as the sword finally lowered from her throat she had been holding her breath without knowing it. Her fists clenched at her sides, she refused to cover herself even though she wanted to. It would show she felt vulnerable. She finally shook her head slowly, glaring at the scientist by the silver haired warriors side.
"I had never given permission to be placed in that pod, so I will not be held accountable for the damage to the lab. You shouldn't have put me in there in the first place."
Her eyes widened as she she saw the man tense at the scientist word and the long sword previously aimed at her was aimed at the scientist at a speed that dazzled her. This man really was something. Shame he wouldn't cut his throat out, she would do so gladly, but she knew it wasn't a smart idea if she wanted to get out of here without too much of a hassle. She thought for a moment of just leaving, but she knew these scientists would follow her around like vermin and they showed a genuine fear to this silver haired man. Perhaps she should linger around him for just a while longer.
Her eyes darted towards the black haired youth when she just caught him looking away with a blush on his face. She rolled her eyes, men. Yet, when he addressed her, she tipped her head slightly.
"They're not all that hard to break out of kid, use your imagination. My name is something that shall be answered later on." She replied curtly, not really giving the guy an answer. She was by no chance giving her name or any information while those scientists were still around. She had seen the scientists eyes gleam at the knowledge of her name and glare at her when she refused to answer.
"She fell from the sky, she was unconscious and without identity so we did not see the problem in using her if she didn't belong anywhere General, Sephiroth." He wisely kept his mouth shut from there on further and he stomped off towards one of the screens, trying to attain as much data as he possibly could, from what there was left.
Sisi herself looked at the other silver haired man that had come out of the pod, wobbly on his feet. And he was the first one where another emotion came to her eyes. Compassion. He had been in there too, trapped. She addressed the taller silver haired man beside him, Sephiroth was his name?
"I take there are showers near we could use? I think we're not the first to be in these pods after all. I don't know what this stuff is but I'd rather get it off as soon as I can. He looks like he might need some help.. I'm fine." she voiced softly, her voice having lost it's hard edge.

The Fallen Feather;;~;There's no escape for me It wants my soul, it wants my heart, no one can hear me scream Maybe it's just a dream;~ Kyrie smiled as Sephiroth lowered his blade from the woman's throat. "Duh, of course I'm right, thinking before acting does kinda help sometimes, my angel" she chuckled that last part so he could just hear her, it was nice to not be so formal around him now, she could actually talk to him like he was a friend and not just a comrade. Since that date set up, she felt bizarrely more comfortable around him, even a little warm... but, surely that was just natural. Of course, it had to be.
Before she could ponder even more, her body jolted as he mentioned the Jenova Project and aimed his sword at the scientist this time. Typical, she just shook her head at this and let him get on with it, she knew he wouldn't do anything stupid. She felt her heart sink as he mentioned about experiments, her head bowed for a short while, she tried to forget those times, but they had always stayed with her.
Just as she raised her head, she was surprised to see a familiar face walk into the room. "Zero!" she beamed, limping over to him to give her childhood friend a quick hug, once she pulled away she let off a small smirk "it's about time, didn't expect you to show up." Typical Zero, always wanting to prove himself, even since they were kids all he did was want to make his father proud, almost a little bit like her. He's always been such a good friend to her...
She stayed by his side, but was soon joined by Sephiroth, the slight warm feeling returned, but it went away as quickly as it came. He wanted her to stay here? No way! She was actually quick shocked, she understood he wanted her to recover, but she could still fight... "No, Sephiroth, let me go with you..." she pleaded as she looked into his eyes hopefully, she had to admit that Zero had a point, but he didn't have to put it so harshly.
Gently, Kyrie took Sephiroth's hand, a hopeful smile appeared on her lips as she looked into his cyan eyes. "I promise, I won't get in the way..." she sighed, besides... she didn't want to go back to the medical wing, they were creepy there, she hated being injected with what she knew was Mako, she had plenty of that in her.
She held his hand for a while longer, he had promised to protect her after all, she wouldn't take advantage of it, but still... "I'll be safe with you," she smiled, tilting her head to the side before limping over to Zero, letting go of Sephiroth's hand "besides, Zero can join us, he can be like a bodyguard!" She chuckled at the thought, she knew how much Zero wanted a chance anyway, she'd try to help him get that chance.
"So!" she began cheerfully, pumping her fist in front of her "looks like me and Zero will be joining you both," she then waved her finger at him, smiling warmly for just him to see as she walked up to him again, murmuring her words so no one else but him could hear "where would you be without your angel?"
With a light giggle she winked and spun around to join Zero once again, smiling at him. "So, ya ready, Zero?" she chuckled, patting his shoulder lightly. Just then, she heard the woman mention something about showers. Oh! She still had the green goo on her, that didn't look too comfortable. "it's alright, I can take you, I may be in a bad shape right now, but I can manage, like I said, you won't be able to escape," she smirked lightly, instructing the woman to follow her as she walked out of the lab.
She felt really bad for her though... but, Kyrie had to stick to her duties...

.:Angel of Darkness:. "Ever since I was a child... I knew I was different..." His eyes followed the scientists all the way back to his office. The eyes were narrowed in great disgust, and his mouth was tightly shut to avoid saying anything more. So... Certain scientists continued their research in the Jenova project in secret... He'd have to make sure the President was aware of those goings-on. But then... Maybe it was the President who had ordered the research to continue... He didn't care was Lazard said; the Shin-ra President was high on his list of who should be watched...
He turned his head slightly as the ex-test subject woman spoke. The determination set in her face; the way she held her body so stiffly... He had a sneaking suspicion of what was going through her mind. "Listen carefully, Ma'am..." He said softly, averting his eyes;"I said get your clothes on. If you would prefer to run around naked elsewhere, I could care less. But you are not stepping out of this laboratory without decent covering. I already know you aren't some weak human being. There is no point in trying to show more defiance and strength than you have already shown. If not for yourself, then put on clothes for our benefit. None of us want to be some perverts walking around with a naked woman..."
Rather irritably, he turned is back pointedly on her, and nodded to the other silver-haired man; hearing his request. "There should be spare clothes in that compartment, Brother."" He pointed toward the storage lockers on the far side of the room. Before he could do anything else, he stiffened slightly. That word, 'Brother'... It had just slipped from his lips of its own accord... Where had it come from? He had no memory of having siblings of any kind. Yet he still felt that faint connection... He had an insane urge to embrace the male experiment; which was extremely awkward for him... Everyone knew that he was not a 'touchy-feely' type of guy...
But a sudden surge of anger rose violently in him again, driving away that discomfort. That voice... It was one of few which he absolutely hated to hear... He turned slowly on the spot, his cold gaze fixed on the other SOLDIER man. It was him... One of those who were consumed by envy at the Hero's status and skills... Zero... What an appropriate name... It took powerful self-control on his part to appear indifferent to the man's presence. He thought he was so strong, so much better than the rest... Sephiroth wanted to spar this arrogant piece of filth at some point... Make it deadly clear to him that uncalled for jealousy or arrogance would not be tolerated at SOLDIER... This man had no damn idea about what exactly he had endured in his life to get where he was now. He had no damn idea that the famous status he held was not one that he wanted. he wanted to be normal, to be like the rest of the SOLDIERs. But he was certain that a strange fate awaited him...
No one... Absolutely no one, would tell him how he should or should not talk to Kyrie. He liked her, a lot; and he wasn't ashamed to admit it to himself. And he didn't want her running off on a mission in her current state. As he thought of Kyrie though, his anger flared down. That steady warmth he felt toward her seemed to swell; calming him... But that happiness immediately turned into concern, then extreme nervousness. Come with him?! Was she going insane? The danger of his mission would far outweigh the danger of any mission she had been on before... He couldn't let her come... But her presence would be comforting... Remaining in Midgar without him seemed more dangerous though; the possibility of attack was growing every day. If he wasn't near enough to help, then Kyrie could be wounded still more, even killed... She would be safer with him at her side... With those thoughts, he took a deep sigh and smiled faintly at Kyrie. "Very well, Kyrie... I'd love to have you along..." As he whispered those words, he felt sure his stomach flipped over in horror at the oncoming danger Kyrie would be in. He became utterly determined to make sure nothing more happened to her...
But... But bring Zero too?! Hell no. That was asking far too much... The entire mission would be plagued by him trying to undermine this famous Hero... Well... Kyrie obviously wanted him along... Maybe this mission would provide an opportunity for him and Zero to... Settle their Differences... He felt a snort of laughter boiling in his gut. No, that wouldn't happen. He had a feeling that he and Zero would never get along...
He turned his blazing eyes on Zero, looking down on the envious insect. He said stiffly, "I'll take you along if you wish to accompany us; but on one condition... You must swear to do exactly as I say, whether you agree or not. It's my duty to make sure everyone returns safely..." He glared steadily at Zero, face firmly set and determined.

Confusion once more painted itself on Yazoo's face as Sephiroth referred to his as "Brother". Unless the Hero had overseen his development, which he highly doubted he would, this would be the first time he'd ever met Sephiroth. In fact, Sephiroth should want nothing to do with him if he was merely an experiment, and a product of the Jenova Project at that.
Yazoo gave his head a single shake to clear these thoughts from his mind. There was no use dwelling on these things now. Eventually, he would get the answers he sought. Giving a curt nod to Sephiroth, he walked to the storage lockers indicated and promptly selected himself some clothes. They were nothing special, merely a pair of dark jeans and a black shirt that a scientist might wear beneath his labcoat. Feeling a bit more comfortable, he returned to where Sephiroth stood with the others.
Carefully noting the tension between Sephiroth and... He frowned slightly, concentrating on the other male SOLDIER's face. Zero. That was his name. For some reason, he felt a rush of annoyance toward the man, Zero. His gaze flicked up to Sephiroth, seeing that he struggled to keep his face impassive. It was the Hero who was feeling this way, and, somehow, that influenced him. Carefully nothing the tension between Sephiroth and Zero, he pointedly did not speak to the younger SOLDIER.
His gaze flicked to the other person in the room, an ingured SOLDIER female. Kyrie. Her name rushed into his memories with a rush of deeper, more complex emotions that he thought impossible in his state. Sephiroth... again? This was just a bit too wierd for him.
