Rexa gave the occasional nod as the intel was explained to her. It was not hard to believe that there were many debris, due to the sorry state of the place. Intrest flared in her blue eyes at the mention of the outpost. That seemed like the ideal place to start. "My guess is that we're going to the outpost first, correct?" She said into the communicator.
She had to bite back a surprised yelp as Leon dropped down from above. Was he always doing this? Vanishing and re-appearing spontaneously? "Your first option doesn't sound so appealing. What's this second idea of yours?" As soon as the words had left her mouth, Rexa came to the realization of what he meant.
A groan nearly escaped her, but she knew it was the most logical way to get there. The faster the mission was completed, the better. She didn't have experiance with things of that nature, and she was sure Leon would get a kick out of the nausea it would inevitabely cause her. "Okay, I'll go with your 'second way'. But, if I'm assuming correctly what I think you mean, I'm going to be throwing up on you."

Leon laughed and nodded his head. This was going to be fun. Whether she was ready or not, Leon made a snatch at her hand with his and moved them through the compression of space, warping them to another place from their previous location. The positive thing was, the trip was instantanious and there was no real compression on the travelers, only the instant of ripping open a miniture worm hole, falling through it for a slipt second, and then re-appearing in another location.
Leon had already sighted a location for the warp, behind a large outcrop of rock, which sat in a blind side of the outpost. "Well then. Thank you for flying Air Deltova. We hope you've enjoyed your flight and hope to see you again." Leon said, making a joke at what had just happened. Depending on her response, if she actually did what she had told him she was going to do, Leon was already moving down the outcrop and towards the outpost itself. "Now... Iffin' you don't mind, lets make a quiet approach to the buildin'. No need to set the guards off without purpose." Leon said a devilish smile on his lips. Leon loved this part of a job. Getting down to the actual work, Leon could fall into his zone. Cold-blood began to flow through his veins, and the comical smile vanished from his lips. His Demon's Eye blazed, hidden behind his sunglasses, hungry for the souls of those Leon killed. All the while, a semi-aura settled around Leon, a field of dead energy, a zen field. This was Leon's time, striking from the darkness or the unknown, reaching in and taking out his targets before he was even noticed.
Aptly nicknamed Dark Strider, Leon appeared out of the shadows, completed his mission, and then vanished. Now that same fate was about to befall two different guards standing outside of a door. Vagabonds, or soldiers dressed like that, sat on little rugs pretending to sleep. Too bad, they were almost actually asleep. Well... now they were sleeping for good, a knife stuck into their spines. With the bodies there, Leon knew that it would look strange for them to be unresponsive, and it would look even weirder if they simply vanished. So, knowing only one other course, Leon reached into his coat and pulled out two lengths of wire and two high explosive grenades. Leon rigged the explosives so that they would tigger and take out a target within ten feet of the bodies. Nothing would stop him now, he would complete his mission and return to the supplier and be ready for the next mission. Mr. Death had arrived in Midgar, whether it was ready or not... "Oh gods, I'm gonna be sick." Rexa staggered as her feet suddenly left the ground, and collided with it again mere seconds later. That was definately going to take some getting used to. However, Leon's strange power proved to be quite useful. There she stood, in an outcropping of rocks near the outpost. I guess we learn something new every day, huh? She said inwardly. But, while some learn new words, I learn that warping proves to be a very effective method of transportation. In a normal case, she would have chuckled at her unsung wit, but the fact that the mission had begun finally registered in her brain. It was show time.
The white fire of adrenaline rushed into Rexa's bloodstream. Now, she was more than ready to give them hell. She followed after Leon at a silent run, uncoiling her whip from her belt in preperation for the inevitable battles to come.
Huh, looked like Leon was faster. As soon as they arrived, two knives were stuck in the spines of two sleeping guards, who died instantly. A blond eyebrow arched as Leon produceda grenade and coils of wire from his coat. Note to self: Rexa told herself silently, never go to an airport with this guy.

Leon noticed that Rexa had joined him. Good. Now he didn't have to worry about her catching up. Placing his back against the wall next to the door, Leon reached into his coat and pulled out his sword. Leon ran a quick finger down the length of the blade to see if it was sharp. It was. Again, good. Now with his weapon check complete, Leon spiraled into the doorway, kicking the door open.
Unfortunatly for one man, he was standing behind the door about to walk out. Now, the door was buired in his face, his skull cracked and his face bleeding. The quiet ring of a sword through the air was the last thing he heard before Leon cut him down. For Leon, time seemed to slow down, him walking into the small entrance room. Three men were just turning around to look at the bursting open of the door. Too slow. Leon simply warped towards them and cut them down in rapid succession.
He didn't stop there, for he moved through the room to the stairwell on the opposite side of the room. He went quickly up the stairs, passing through two empty rooms before coming to a partially opened door. Looking in slightly, Leon saw two people. He reached into his coat and took out a flash bang. Leon pulled the pin on the explosive and rolled it in, turning away from the door and covering his ears.
The flash of light was an easy sight followed nearly instantly by the disorienting bang of the detonation. Once they were over, Leon was already moving, into the room with his blade moving in a deadly arc. Through one of the people, a woman armed with several weapons, and then into a man, likewise armed. Nothing was going to stop Leon from getting to the highest point and gathering as much intel as he could. Do doubt people above him would have heard the explosions, but they were bottlenecked into coming through him if they wanted out. He was in the way of their freedom, but Leon wasn't about to let a single one of them go without gathering information. Even in a state like his, Leon could still plan and think strategically. Rexa followed shortly after Leon had wiped the area behind the door clean of any life. Holy crap, he was fast. Was she even needed here? It seemed as if Leon could have carried this out blindfolded. Her gaze flitted to the unfortunate soul with a door buried in his face. Hell of an obituary that would make, that was for sure.
Once the flash bang had been rolled into the next room, Rexa promptly did the same as Leon and crouched behind the nearest wall. Even through shut eyes, the flash was near blinding. Guess that meant worse for the people caught unexpectedly in the blast, eh? The fiery young girl rushed in as soon as the detonation was through, sidestepping around Leon and his two victims to cut off two frantic workers who had heard the blast and panicked. In a flash of silver, her long whip had snapped across one of their skulls, and the man slumped down, dead.
The other, however, seemed to be armed. Rexa immediately swerved as they whipped out a handgun and fired a single bullet where she had been. Like a red blue, she raced behind her attacker and looped her whip around his neck like a noose. With a sharp yank, the worker fell to the ground, choking and frantically attempting to remove the silver chord from his throaght.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Rexa taunted, allowing the Fire materia inside the weapon to set the whip ablaze. The worker went still, mouth open in a silent scream of agony as the flames singed his throaght. "Now put the gun down." The gun clattered to the ground on command. "Good. Now, how about you do me and my partner here a favor, hm?"

The man, whoever he was, was bug eyed as the tryed frantically to get some semblance of a breath. He managed, soon, to gather enought oxygen to begin to talk. "Su... sure... sure lady... just, don't hurt me..." He stammered, looking up at the girl, utter terror in his eyes. "What's it you want from me?" He continued, regaining a sense of composure.
Leon however, placed his boot down on the man and began to press downward. The twist of leather and the noise that accompanies it came from Leons boot, as he leaned down on his knee and looked at the man. "We want to know who it is you're workin' for, where to find em, and what the hell you're doin' out here so close to the reactor." Leon said, a scowl on his lips. The man obviously had taken an oath of secrecy, for he nearly buttoned his lip as Leon made the demand. Ooh... Doesn't want to talk eh?Leon thought to himself. Fine then... Leon removed his boot from the man, who took a breath, as much of one as he could, but it was suddenly kicked out of him as Leon's foot crashed into the side of his stomach. Leon kicked the man several times before stopping when the man groped at his leg.
"OK OK!! I'll talk! Just stop! Please!" The man shreaked, holding his side. Leon had hardly kicked him, but the force of his kicks were powerful indeed, especially to a spot so unprotected as one's sides and stomach. "I work for a company named Menolas... A big-wig company in-charge of rebuilding one of the old sectors of the city. I'm here to act as an overwatch for guys from Goldilia Inc. Guys who run another opperation to the west of here." The man began. Leon nodded his head. Goldilia was the current contractor for this mission he and Rexa were on, so it made sense why the competition would post guards.
"Reciently the wigs in-charge have wanted us to go into the reactor and find something in there. The thing is, we can't find the damned thing... Whatever they're looking for is buried under two tons of steel. The closest way to the lower levels is blocked off by this big ass gate which is so badly blasted shut, nothing short of a tactical bomb could open it, and even then, its right near some chemicals that're highly combustable. There's no way to get in short of having a full team come in with rigs n' the like and strip the place." The man explained, rubbing his side to try and relieve some of the pain from Leon's kicks.
"There's a whole data link of infomation on the subject upstairs, last floor, door to the left. Here's the password, now can I please leave with my life?" The man said, writing down a quick series of numbers on a piece of paper he had in his pocket.
Leon smiled at the man and nodded his head. Leon motioned to Rexa to let him go. If she did, the man got up and began to scurry off, but Leon whipped his fist towards the man, hitting him in the jaw. The man fell to the floor, a KO punch easily. "He's not dead. He's just out cold. Leave him be. I'm going to make good on that deal of ours." Leon said, stepping over the bodies of the two dead thugs and then quietly walked up the stairs, turing and following up another few flights. Some answers lay only a few more flights of staits above him, and he was determined to find them.

Rexa uncoiled her whip from around the worker's neck when indicated, nearly smirking at the sight of the black ring of charred flesh where the whip had been. This man would not forget her in a hurry. Luckily, they'd been able to extract quite a bit of information from him. Bonus, here I come. She said inwardly. The wonders of human torture never ceased to amaze her.
She quickly followed Leon up the staris, near jittery with anticipation. Finding the answers they sought was the first step to completing this task, and (more importantly) recieving a large sum on money. That was all she was really in it for. The day to day squabbles of opposing companies did not concern her. Being a nineteen year old girl with a record like hers, there was no other way to make money than to carry out tasks such as this. She did not think of it as murder, but surviving.

Leon's sword was away in it's sheath. Instead, Leon now had two of his pistols in his hands, eached loaded and ready for action. Slowing his ascent now, Leon looked around the last flight of steps. There appeared to be nothing different from the other steps, nothing that his scanners on his sunglasses could pick up, anyway. Mentally reassuring himself, Leon moved up the stairs and into the upper hall. Just like the man had said downstairs, Leon saw the door to the left. A slight blue glow appeared from the bottem and Leon was convinced that the information the man had given him was accurate.
Leon moved around the stairwell and to the side of the door. On a mental count of three, Leon turned and kicked in the door. No one was there, thankfully, but the bank of computers and screens were all lit, information coming in and filling in logs. Leon quickly holstered his weapons and went to work cracking into the more secure files. He quickly found the files and saved them to a removeable hard-drive which he had pulled from a pocket of his. Leon looked over the information as it was saved. Logs of the foremen at the dig site were posted, as well as work scheduals and memos from the company itself.
Not very intelligent are they...?Leon thought to himself. He now knew where and when to strike against the opposing company and with what to hit with. Clean and efficent, how it was suppose to go. Leon had no doubt that word of an assult was already out, so he uploaded a hidden bug into the computer mainfraim, a backdoor and a way for him to keep pulling information from the server here. "Lets move. We've got what we came here for." Leon said, taking the drive and several files from the desk before him. Leon turned and walked down the stairs, around and around, back to the door where he had come into the building from, and then vanished around the courner. His only hope was that Rexa was still with him.

((Sorry for the late reply. Writer's block was eating my brain )) Rexa followed close behind, standing in the doorway rather than attempting to help Leon hack into the computer. She was not a technology whiz... far from it, truthfully. She merely stood watch for any odd employees that may attempt to get in their way. Blue eyes watched Leon impatently. Though he indeed was not taking long, she was not a patent person. "You sure you've got everything?" She asked as he stepped away from the computer, falling into step beside him. By the look on his face, she knew the answer without him having to say it. "O-kay, so where to next?" However, niether was given the chance to speak further as Rexa emerged back into the room in which they'd come from. The worker in which Leon had knocked senseless was unsteadily back on his feet, shouting into a phone urgently. "Yes, two enemy mercenaries! Here a-at the outpost!" His voice cracked at the end as he stared frantically at the two. Rexa curled a lip, eyes narrowing into blue slits. In a flash, her whip was in her hand and lashing out at the employee. "I knew it was no use leaving you alive!" She snarled. Well, it was no use worrying about one enemy, when there were surely a more pressing threat. "Leon! We haven't got much time to get the hell out of here! There'll be troops coming in here any minute." Her voice was carefully controlled, but she was honestly frantic with worry. She couldn't be caught now...
