Rain pattered against the windows of the Seventh Heaven. A dismal day, but the regulars didn't seem to mind. After stashing his starship outside of the town in a fairly good spot, Leon had trudged his way though muck and mud to get here, rain dousing his hair. It was just finally finishing to dry now that he was inside the bar. His old leather jacket, however, was fairly wetted through. Sitting with his back to the door, Leon held his drink in his left hand, resting his eyes by cradling his head in his hand. Several others were sitting at the bar, and another couple were sitting at the tables. Small talk and quiet chatter all around him told Leon of the life in the bar.
Above and to the right of him sat a television, the channel on a mindless talk show. Something about the prices of a certain accessory or something of the matter. A bottle sat at his left hand and Leon reached over and tipped the contents of the bottle into his glass. Wine, a rather uncommon beverage choice of Leon's, but today was different to him. He wasn't in the best of moods, and the weather only worsened it. He had needed to park his ship and allow it time to sit as the automated repair systems fixed some damage that it had sustained in a recient sojourn that Leon had been on.
He sighed and raised his head to look about, picking up the glass and taking a sip of the crimson liquid. It was bitterly sweet, a good taste in Leon's mouth, again reflecting his mood. He leaned back in the chair, resting agasint the back with his hand behind his head. Hardly paying attention, another man walked into the bar, the sound of rain hitting the pavement outside telling all those inside not to go out yet. A cough, a grunt, and the sound of wood creaking to the weight of a person. Another regular, who had taken the seat to Leon's right. He, Leon that is, sat in the general middle of the bar, half way between both walls. Not at the crook of the bar, but close.
The man that had taken the seat next to Leon was a younger man, hardly over twenty five years old. He seemed shaken to Leon, who had cast a quick glance at the youth. Probably trying to forget something that had happened reciently, a common thing around here. He ordered a whiskey on the rocks and a shot of expresso, a strange combination, but it was rightly a kick in the right direction of getting drunk quick. Costing a heafty amount of Gil, though. Once the drink reached the man, he took it in one hand and knocked it back, one shot gone. He placed the glass on the counter and immediatly ordered another.
"Put this one on my tab, m'dear." Leon said, winking at the bartender. She rolled her eyes with a smile on her lips and went to getting the man his drink. "Thanks." The man said, looking over at Leon, trying to gague where he was going with it. "You seem to be one who can hold his liquor, friend. Things are pretty slow today, so I could use a drinking buddy, iffin you don't mind." Leon said, taking a sip of his own drink. The man smiled and nodded his head, taking Leon's offer without a second glance. His drink came soon and he raised it to Leon, who did the same. Then, both took a drink of their poisons and smiled. At least the day wasn't a total loss, Leon thought as the man opened up with "How about this weather, huh?" A rather cliche topic, but Leon went ahead with it, broadening the conversation. [bahahah guess who got a new job! yes I got it admin approved XD]
The door once again creaked open, the sound echoing through the bar that was uncommonly silent for it's regular doing. Surely, it wasn't evening yet and so more visitors couls be expected later on. The figure that had stepped in wore leather sturdy heeled boots under the raincoat, the footfall light. One could hear it was female.
"Sorry I'm late hon, awful weather today. Thanks for staying around longer for me." The woman said as she pulled the raincoat off, revealing long flowing red hair and keen green eyes. She smiled as she walked over to counter and hung up her coat, her spirits lifted now that she could get to work again. Even though she had only been working here shortly she began to love this place. It was never boring. She was wearing something that looked like her usual attire, but less battle formal. Well fitted leather pants tucked into her boots, a darkgreen blouse worn under a leather tight fitted waistcoat. The top buttons of her blouse opened to show a playful amount of 'tease'. This was a bar after all. Delicate silver earhangers were in her ears, dangling merrily with her movements while a single green stone glinted around her neck, matching her eyes.
Her heels resounded on the wooden floorboards as she immediately got to work. She had been hired by the owner, a woman called Tifa a little over a week ago. She had wanted a job to keep herself busy and Tifa wanted someone that could fight to keep the bar safe while she was gone, so it was a win win situation for both of them.
Rolling up her sleeves she started on the heap of dishes that were still there from this morning, soaking them up in the sink. The other girl started packing up her stuff, her shift ended. Sisi quickly took a scan around the room to see which customers were here.
And surprise was clearly written on her face when she recognized the man with the scar across his face, her hands submerged in dishwater.
"Well I'll be.." she mouthed softly

OOC: Eh, Yazoo wouldn't be caught dead at Cloud and Tifa's bar, so I'll play as my other charrie ^.^
The steady hum of a motorcycle could be heard as Rexa pulled to a steady stop before Seventh Heaven. Shaking a lock of dirty blond hair from her eyes, she scanned the run down place intently. Well, this wasn't exactly the place for a nineteen year old girl to be around, due to two facts: There were some... questionable people that hung around bars, and she couldn't get a drink at her age. It was a disappointment, sure, but without any parents to ever tell her differently, she hadn't really bothered with caution.
Pulling the keys from the ignition, she dismounted the bike and sauntered inside. Not many gave her a second glance, for she appeared as just a regular woman seeking a drink. Besides, the men who did were shot a wary glare with piercing blue eyes.
"Got any virgin strawberry daquiris?" She asked the bartender as she slid onto a barstool. Eh, may as well attempt to follow the law, right?"If not, I'll get a margarita, on the rocks."

Leon looked up at the girl who had just come in and was now behind the counter. "Well howdy there, m'dear." Leon said with a nod of his head. "Looks like you're doing well, and that's a good note in my book." He added turning to his drinking companion. He was fast asleep, the drink had gotten to him quick. He lay on his arm, a slight smile on his drunken face, which made Leon laugh. Leon shook his head and drained his glass. He then poured another glass of wine for himself, and knocked that back as well.
Leon lifted up the bottle and looked into it, noting that there was nothing left in it. "Hmm... gonna need another drink here. Give me the hardest liquor you've got, and leave the bottle. I'm not planning on going anywhere any time soon." Leon said. The door had opened and a young girl had walked into the bar. She inquired to the types of drinks that were served, asking for something else in case what she was after wasn't being served. "Seems you know your way around a bar, kiddo." Leon said, a chuckle leaving his lips. "No disrespect, but it seems to me that you seem to be a tad young to be parusing the lists of drink. 'Course, what do I know? People seem younger now-a-days and look younger as well. Science is an interesting thing." Leon said, musing to himself as he drolled on. He reclined again in his chair and checked his watch. Four thirty... great. Not even half the day was over with and Leon was STILL bored. Drinking had its ups, granted, but then again, it was only fun for some time.
He sighed and looked up at the television. The weather report had rolled in, now forcasting the rain and gloom to stay through the night and into the later part of the next day. Leon sighed again and hung his head. "I hate the rain..." Leon muttered in a low voice. Hopefully his drink would come and he could drown his sorrows in something that would help to make him forget the weather in general. Not that he would get drunk, which was damned near impossible to to, but it would help him take his mind off of the wetness and the cold and make him think of how good the liquor tasted. Hopefully... Rexa's gaze slid over to the man who had addressed her. He had already drained an entire bottle of liquor, and was looking to buy another. Odd, due to the fact he looked as sober as can be. Granted, she wasn't too familiar with drunks, so she could be misjudging.
As tempting as it was to shoot him a glare and a snarled What's it to you!? this man merely seemed to be asking an innocent question rather than confronting her on the matter. "Eh. I get that alot." She answered simply, smoothly evading the question.
Following the man's gaze to the television, she snorted. Just her luck, getting stuck in the rain on her motorcycle. "Tch, you and me both. Hey, you think it's impossible to ride a motorcycle with an umbrella?" The question was meant as a joke, but she would like to avoid getting wet.

Leon shrugged at the question. "I don't know, sorry. Wouldn't know from experience, but I suppose anything is possible. Though, I wouldn't be the one to ride a motercycle to town on a day like this. Probably a car would be the best bet, but they're kinda cumbersom when it comes down to it." Leon said, turning in his seat to get a better view of the girl. "Now, I suppose, now that I'm veritably stuck here in the bar for the remainder of the day, I can come up with hypothetical situations and possible scenarieos in which you're idea might work. I could count up the algorythems and construct a definate hypothisis of how and where the exact placement of the umbrella could be, and where it would provide the most protection from the rain." Leon said, going straight from his thoughts to words. In his head it made perfect sense, but he had probably lost the girl with his scientific speaking and the rate at which he spoke.
"Let me try that again," Leon said, placing his index and middle fingers of both hands on his tempals. "What I ment to say, in English this time, is that I could help you figure a way to rig an umbrella to your motercycle to stop the rain from hitting you as much as it normally would. I can't promise anything though, due to wind resistance and the general laws of gravity and fluid dynamics." Leon said, slipping into science talk again.
He shook his head and sighed. "Sorry... Sometimes I get off on a tangent about my understanding of things scientific. Anyway, I personally don't see the need to ride about on a day like today on a motercycle. I'd prefer the confines of a car, though it can be cumbersom at times. Parking is always a pain as it were..." Leon said, dismissing her just recient tangent. "No, on second thought, I'd prefer to use my own method of transportation which can easily keep me dry in the rain." Reaching into his pocket, Leon took out a small orb of materia, a simple Barrier one, looked at it quickly before stowing it away back in his pocket. No one seemed to notice, but Leon had pulled it out quickly, to show the girl what he generally ment. "If you have questions as to what I mean, the please ask, just keep your voice down. I'd like to hear the weather report." Leon said, with a wink. He looked about to see if anyone was listening to him, but none seemed to interested in the man and his friend. Those that were there were more interested in reading the newspaper or talking with their chosen listeners. Whatever...Leon thought quietly.

Sisi mused silently as she could hear the man rave on about the science of an umbrella, pulling out a small stemmed glass from under the counter. If the man wanted to pack a punch, that was fine with her. Pulling a small spoon that had an intricate pattern of holes in it she placed it over the rim of the glass before placing a sugar cube on it. Walking over towards the brown haired man with the glass an a bottle of bright green liquid in her other hand.
Placing the glass on the table in front of him she started pouring the bright green liquid over the sugar cube which passed through the spoon and into the glass. As the sugared liquid hit the glass it turned into an opaque minty color.
"I usually serve this drink diluted with water because many cannot handle this drink otherwise. Absinthe, this particular bottle 86 percent full. I'm not going to give you the whole bottle because this stuff causes alcohol poisoning before you can say "O, damn". That and it has certain properties that are known to be hallucinatory if you drink too much of it"
The woman winked at him, a small grin on her face. Let's see how you handle that my friend. Then she turned around and walked back to the bar to put the bottle under the counter again, resuming on helping the girl now waiting.
"Good thing Tifa left me a recipe list on how to make such things. I'll be right up. And don't even think I will serve you one drop of alcohol till you have proof to me that you're 21, which I get the feeling you're not just yet." She laughed kindly before starting to throw the ingredients in a blender, blending it for a good few seconds before pouring it into a fancy looking glass with a tiny umbrella resting against the rim. "Afraid that's she only umbrella I can offer you" she replied before smirking amused at the man who had stopped raving about his science.
"You do know that too much talk about science scares the girls away, right?" She grinned, her eyes gleaming with certain mischief.
"What is your name anyway? I get the feeling I'm going to see you around here more often." And probably making them a good amount of money, by the rate this man was drinking.

Leon laughed as the woman brought him his drink. A powerful drink? Good! Leon thought. He lifted the glass to his lips as the girl went about helping the newly arrived customer. Her point of the girl not being old enough was what Leon had thought when she had first come in. Seems that others could pick up on the age of others here as well. Oh well, Leon shrugged and knocked back the drink in one shot.
The girl hadn't lied. It was a hell of a powerful drink, one that make Leon shake his head and blink several times. A kick to the face was an understatement in this case. He cleared his throat and swallowed again, a strong smile on his lips. "Now THAT'S what I call a drink!" Leon said, pointing to the glass. He leaned back and crossed his arms, the liquor still kicking in his stomach. When the woman commented on his continued talk of things scientific, Leon laughed a good natured laugh. "Yeah... I seem to get that a lot actually... Not a lot of people appreciate the things that rule the general effects of everything everywhere. Oh well..." Leon said with a shrug.
"To answer your last question, m'dear. The name's Leon. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." Leon said, offering his hand in a handshake.

Sisi couldn't help but grin broadly at the man as the drink gave him a good punch in the face, she was amazed the guy wasn't coughing his lungs out after he swallowed it. She had never seen someone handle the drink undiluted, she had never tried it herself for good reasons. She'd be completely smashed in one drink.
She took his hand in her own smaller one, even though her hands seemed delicate, they held a firm grip that showed there was more power to her then met the eye. The small smile on her lips did not take away to the mischievous sparkling of her green eyes. She was very different then when they had first met, when a certain silver haired men had fouled her mood.
"Sisilaya Vulmecura. But most call me Sisi, pleasure to meet you Leon. If you want some milk do say so, that drink can cause stomach problems. Milk neutralises your stomach acids." She answered kindly.
Yet not many had such an experienced stomach to alcohol, like this man had..

Rexa let out a small snort of laughter as the bartender refused to give her any alchohol. "I knew I wasn't fooling anybody. Ah well, law's the law." She accepted the virgin drink with a nod, removing the little umbrella and taking a sip. "Thanks anyway."
She hadn't really responded to what the man, Leon, had rambled off about. In all truth, he had lost her on the second or third sentence. Science wasn't really her forte, to put it mildly. She had listened with the occasional nod as if she understood.
True to the television, a thin drizzle was now splattering the streets, not truly rain but enough to say that riding home on a motorcycle was not going to be fun. Crap. I was hoping I had a little time before it started raining." She mused half to herself, twirling the little umbrella inbetween her fingers.

Leon laughed and shook his head. "Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll survive. Years of drinking has its ends with the body, if you catch my understanding." Leon said with a dismissive wave of his hand. "Anyhow..." Leon began, trying to stimulate a converstation, having nothing in mind at that moment. He let it hang for a minute before he looked about. His drinking buddy was still asleep, now beginning to snore. Leon smiled and chuckled. "Couldn't take his drink all the way I suppose..." He mentioned, removing the glass from his hand.
He placed the empy glass on the counter and placed his hands behind his head, looking out the window. The rain began to pick up, coming down more forcefully then before. "You might want to put your bike away. It looks like its only going to get worse." Leon mentioned, pointing out the window. "Just saying, of course." He added, trying not to seem forceful. "Iffin' you'd like, I know a great spot to stow it which is fairly close by." He offered, looking at the young girl. Sorry for the short posts... Muse has vanished >_<

Burstingthrough the doors with his hair drenched and jacket a little damp, Zero Heart went into a bar it seemed peaceful, not dirty like the other ones he had been to. He shook his hair like a dog and took his jacket off, underneath her wore his usual attire (see this).
"Urgh I hate the rain!" he muttered when he walked into the bar, people gave him stares but he just ignored them and sat at a bar stool next to a brunette man, he gave him an odd look then turned to the bartender. Oh crap. Another beautiful woman?!?! Oh no red cheeks!
Zero looked away for a quick moment to sort himself out and then looked at the red haired woman, wow she was gorgeous! Damn he was never good around women, not pretty ones like the girl he had met before.
"Can I have a brandy please miss? I have id if you need it" he smiled politely when he took out his wallet and showed her it. When he looked around again he nearly fell out of his chair! Another woman!?!? Zero groaned as he buried his head in his arms, hiding his face from everyone.
<Sorry if it is a bit stupid, but Zero is very shy around women >

Sisi too looked down at the snoring man beside Leon, raising a ginger eyebrow in amusement "Perhaps we should call a cab to bring him home.. what'd you think Leon?" She mused, a small smile playing on her lips. If she were not responsible for the bar at the moment she would have pulled a few tricks on him. "That or we could do the usual joke on sleeping people, toothpaste under their nose. That'll wake them up.."
She grinned broadly down at the sleeping man for a moment before her head snapped up at the sound of the door opening and closing, signalling at a new person entering the bar. Her grin disappeared and turned to a kind smile as she greeted the person, grabbing a dish towel to start drying the glasses she'd been washing.
She looked the man up and down.. not bad.. specially not with the wet hair. Sad of the gloves though, he didn't need them to look good.
She couldn't help but grin freely as his cheeks turned red at seeing her. Oho, so this was one like those eh? Her eyes met Leon's for a moment, amusement clearly written in them.
"Welcome to Seventh Heaven bar here in Edge, a brandy will be right up for you hot stuff." She grinned cheekily, she couldn't help it. It was too tempting to see the guy turn into a human tomato. She winked and disappeared under the counter, coming up with a bottle of brandy and two glasses. Filling them she placed one in front of the raven haired stranger and one in front of Leon. She got the feeling with the brunette it was just a matter of filling up. The absinthe had hardly done anything to clear clear his sober. She wondered if he might be immune to alcohol.
Taking the money from the Raven haired man she wrapped his order up, giving him the change in return.
"Tell me, what is a man like you doing in here on such a dreary day?" She asked kindly this time.
