When Alex revealed his real form, Duo also shed his human illusion. A smoky, purple and black fog completely shrouded his form from even the most enhanced eyes. The fog started clearing, revealing that he too was far from human. Duo's glaring gaze had intensified with the lifting of the disguise, glowing a more vibrant violet than before. His form was a Chaos-Vincent copy attempt, the only differences were the colorings, the tail, and the height. He'd be taller than Vincent if they met up.
The twitch of a smile inched its way on his face, "Not an experiment, but not human either. The glow you are giving off reminds me of a fallen brother-in-arms."

Alex returned the small grin. [glow=white,2,300]"It seems as though you may have met someone who was also an Angel, or at least a copy of one."[/glow] Alex closed his eyes, and the wind began to pick up again. Alex's clothes and weapon began to return to normal, and his wings retracted back inside of him. The wind stopped, and the light from the moon returned to normal once again. Opening his eyes revealed that his eyes were back to their normal gray-green color. "But, that doesn't mean that they were an Angel at all." Having returned to his normal state, Alex felt a bit weary from going back and forth between his Angel and Normal forms. It's tiring work, after not having transformed for at least a year.
"But, that still doesn't solve one thing." Alex turned very serious. "That doesn't explain why both of us are here, and if what we're both searching for might be linked in some way, shape, or form. I'll start. I'm looking to find an answer to why there have been supposed sightings of the living dead. They've become such a menace to the people of the town at night that it needed to be stopped by something more powerful than Humans." Alex took another look around, to make sure he wasn't missing anything. Seeing that there wasn't anything out of the ordinary, he returned his attention to the man. "Now it's your turn. What is it you are looking for here, and how important is it to you that you find it?"

"I am trying to destroy the head scientist of a lesser known company. He's been creating horrendous experiments that can damage the Planet itself. I had already taken down the last of his top generals, but he had made another in his place."
He pulled his clawed hands away from his guns, folding his arms across his chest. After glowering slightly at the creature in front of him, he responded, "Blue-gray scales, very tall, has wings of fire... have you seen him?"
Honestly, it was not hard to miss him.

Alex shrugged. "I don't think I've seen anyone like that here, at least since I got here from my home world." Alex thought for a minute, and realized something. "On second thought... I do remember seeing something like that back on Earth. He, she, whatever the hell it was, was wreaking havoc, and I had to go in and stop it. Strange thing was, it disappeared before I could deal a final blow." Alex's eyes widened and snapped to attention toward the man. "Is that thing what you're trying to search for?"
Alex thought for a few seconds, and he summoned his sword to his hand immediately. "Are you in league with that thing!?!" Alex's guard was up, and he was ready to transform at any second in case the person attacked. Alex stared sharply into his potential enemy's eyes, and held his blade further up. "Answer me, dammit! Are you my enemy or are you against that thing, too?"

Duo watched the man freak out over nothing. Oh, yes, NOW he got the monster treatment. He was expecting that. It was only a matter of time before someone started pointing fingers at him. He folded his arms, not even bothering to reach for his guns. Why would he? He was not a foe.
A sigh, then the response, "I am against that thing. It killed a brother-in-arms, and incapacitated another."
Wasn't that enough reason? He did not react in time, and two of his original team could no longer fight. Had he reacted sooner, they would be fine.
