Darkmage was just a little kid when he saw Sephiroth burn down this town. It wasn't right, he lost his parents in the fire. Mr. Hojo took him away from here after the events. He had special unknown powers to him. One thing he didn't understand until he was a little older is that his parents knew about this power. Hojo released his power when he turned 13. He had been branded by Shinra on his right arm. He HATED Hojo, and all of Shinra for what they have done. Now that they are at their weakest point because of Cloud and the rest of Avalanch.
The time will come, and when it does, Mage will exact revenge on the company!
A few people walked past him, no one knew him, they tried to avoid him due to the evil look in him, almost replica to Sephiroth. He was branded "Yet, another failed experiment." But this wouldn't stop him.
He entered a bar, and got a light soft drink, then headed towards the inn.
(OOC: A come back!? I think so!!! ;D COME ON!!!)

Leon walked down the dusty path towards the center of Nibelheim, the scene for the beginning of a great terror upon the world. Supposidly, this town had burnt down during the rage of the "One Winged Angel", the second coming of the great cataclysm, Sephiroth. But, from what Leon had seen and heard from those who lived in the local area all those years ago, the town had remaind just as it had been, even on that day before the destruction came. The details were sketchy and not enough information was out there, so Leon had to trash any leads on what actually happened in the area.
His intent on being here was a secular one, a routine scouting and retreval mission for a client in Cosmo Canyon. Why the client wouldn't come here was beyond Leon, but then again, he wasn't paid to ask questions. Bowing his head to the request of the client, Leon went dutifull on his way, truding through tall grass, over rocks, through monsters and other obsticals, before finding his way to an easier path. With a bit of resignation, Leon continued on his journy to pick up the package for his client.
Walking down the cobbled street of the town made Leon think of his first time on the outskirts of Edge. The areas there were similarly cobbled, but a much more vibrant and welcoming color. These here were stained with time and muck, a testimant to the ability to weather all kinds of abuse and hardship. Though the walk was semi-miserable, the town itself had a rustic kind of charm to it, the colors of the roofs and of the shutters on the homes, along with the small bit of livelyness in the town itself. Soft music was playing from a window above, a woman had just placed a pie on the windowsill to cool after being taken out of the oven. Several children were playing in the street, their laughter brightening up the dismal outer appearance of the town.
Here and there, people talked, several merchants peddled their invintory to passerby, and life went on. Flowers in boxes on windows edge, in gardens or in plant pots, different flags hung, and the general look of life continuing un-hindered made Leon take back about the place seeming so dismal. A slight smile broke out on his lips as he took in the calm and serenity held within this small town.
Now, according to his client, Leon was suppose to find the Inn here in town. Unfortunatly, several of the buildings that looked somewhat like an Inn were being resided, their signs taken down to be out of the way for the workers. Shrugging, Leon looked about for anyone who wasn't really busy. Spotting a youthful looking man with a soda in his hand, Leon moved forward his hands coming out of his pockets to wave the man down. "Excuse me sir." Leon began, moving at a quick stride. "Do you happen to know which of these buildings is the Inn?" It was an innocent question, this place having been one that Leon had still yet to visit.

Vergil wandered through the open grasslands looking for civilization so as to get his barings. He had been traveling, mostly by foot, from Wutai since leaving the lab. He was still a bit confused as to what he should be doing. He had abandoned Shin-Ra because of their past. This had left him a bit lost in the world. What was he to do now? He had supposed that at the very least he should find out whats going on in the world. This was what had sparked his trip torward Nibelheim. He had been so lost in thought that he had not noticed a pack of four Nibel Wolfs sorrounding him. One to his front left lunged at him, aiming to take his throat. With the sudden movement caught by the corner of his eye, his left hand shot up in responce. He caught it across the snout, it fell to the ground whining in pain as it scrabbled about on the ground befor coming to its feet. Vergil came to his sences and evaluated the predicument. A small smile passed his lips. Almost inaduable words passed his lips. "Come on then, diner time."
The three unhurt ones leapt for him, as the other evaluated the prey. He backflipped and caught the one to his back right atop the head with his foot. It stuck the ground with such force that its skull shattered. He leaned back and dodged the one on his front right. The one from the back left caught his arm. It sank razor sharp teeth into his arm, trying to rip this way and that to worsen the wound. The one that had been watching had moved in as the others attacked to catch him with a bodyblow, since its snout had been hurt. Even as he had dodged he grabbed the one that had missed him by the hair on its back, and with great force slammed it down on the one now comming at him. They both cried out loudly in pain, then were still.
Befor the one that had bit him could release and run, he grabed its muzzel and sucurely pressed it down. It tried to back away despretly. His grip broke its bones. The poor thing faught franticly to get free, teror overwhelming it. He riped its top jaw apart from the botom, and tossed it to the side. It layed there slowly dying in its own blood.
Now that he was done with the fight he thought of his wound. "How bothersome, that must be dealt with." He looked to the horizen and saw a small town.
Now within the town, he looked around. Obviously a small town like this had no need for a formal doctor. He, slightly hazy from some blood lose, walked down the only street/town center. While fighting through ever growing pain, he accidently bumped into a man who he thought had been yelling something. The force of contact knocked him to the ground. His head swam with fever. His arm, having struck the ground, bleed anew. "S...s.s.sorry..." He muttered incoheirently to the man he had only lightly contacted.

He noticed a tall man with long hair, and glasses on. He thought for a moment that it was Sephiroth, changing his look. But then the man spoke. (Not Sephiroth) He thought. He looked down and then pointed in the direction of the Inn, while letting out a soft, but slightly noticeable sigh. He then drank the last drop of his Soda, and walked away towards the back of the town to the Mansion.
He opened the gate, walked up to the door, and kicked it down, there he had monsters waiting for him. 2 ghosts, and a bat. Not so hard he thought. He didn't bother to take out his spell book. He lifted his arm and chanted a spell. It killed all 3 monsters in a single blow. Weak monsters are easily kill able in 1 shot. He walked up the steps, and opened the hidden door. Walking down the winding stairs and into the Library. (So, this is where Sephiroth had learned about himself, which triggered the events above.) He thought to himself.
He herd something move about, he looked around and saw a rat in the scraps of machines. He looked at the machines, and had a flash back to when he was a kid when the events took place above. This memory haunts him every day and night. But then he had a new flash back after being picked up by Hojo. He remembers being stuck in these tubes, with a yellow and black spiky headed adults.
He took his fist and smashed the tube, it was the same exact one he was in. Glass went everywhere, and so did the contents inside the tube. It was a Mako, and Jenova cells infused Rat. The rat was glowing green. It grew big, and breathed fire. It was getting bigger and bigger by the second. This one wouldn't die just by a single spell. He knew right then there he had to get out of there or he would die. He still didn't know much about his powers. He still is only a level 1 Mage according to his spell book.
His spell only gave a minor scratch on the monster. He turned around and ran back up the winding stairs. Monsters formed all over in the mansion. He killed at least 1/3 of them, but they were over whelming him. He needed help fast. He jumped over several, killed a quite a bit more, and ran through them while being attacked, blood dripped every where. He saw the front door, but the rat had gotten to it before he did. (Damn...) He did the only thing he could do and that was scream for help. while killing off the smaller monsters as much as he could.
(OOC: Vergil, are you talking about Leon when you fell? If not, I'll add in more. But I am assuming since Dm hadn't spoke, then it has to be Leon.)

Just entering in the town for the first time in years, he walks towards the centre of the town, noticing an odd looking guy, with another guy standing next to him, and another on the ground. Probably deserved what he got. He thought. The blue haired, icy blue eyed man, walked towards them, he wasn't in his armour, just plain civilian clothes. He's much faster and swifter in these clothes than his armour. He noticed pie on a window seal and took a piece of it. He spat it out. "Eghhh. Blue Berry." The woman noticed and started to yell at him while he was walking away. Suddenly she died with no explainable reason.
She was young, about mid 20's, healthy, and strong. Had a husband in SOLDIER. But alas, Genocide didn't care. Anyone affiliated with ShinRa, will die by his hands. He didn't see those men as a threat to him. He walked over to the Inn to get some rest on his 5 day long journey. He got into bed, and fell fast asleep.

Leon nodded his head and flashed a bright smile as the man pointed him in the correct direction. As he began to walk, however, he looked back at the man. He tilted the contents of his cup into his opened mouth and rid himself of the drink. Then, he began to walk towards an old abandoned mansion, a forboding place indeed. Leon, thinking it wouldn't hurt, trailed the man at a distance, watching the man carefully. Something about him didn't feel right, but then again, Leon felt that way about all kinds of people.
Standing back for a minute and watching, Leon followed the man with his eyes, watching him walk through the gates and kick in the door. A flash of light told Leon that there was a fight going on inside. Resisting the urge to immediatly jump into the fray, Leon stood back and continued to watch them battle from a distance. Though he couldn't actually see what was going on, he knew that the man was obviously fairly well versed with magic, a strange thing in Leon's eyes.
The flashes grew less and less often, causing Leon to begin to wonder as to the progress of the young man. It had hardly been ten minutes, having struck up a conversation with the locals, that Leon heard and saw more and more flashes coming from the house. The flashes, however, were in rapid succession, no logical pattern to them, frantic. It was all Leon needed to hear when a male's voice came from the open door for help that he moved on his way. Pulling out his two pistols, Leon easily hopped the fence, clearing it and landing at a run to the doors.
Just as he pulled up to the doors, Leon caught a glimpse of the man from before, casting spells and the like every which way. His view of the man, however, was cut short due to the hulking presence of some kind of titanic monster. A wicked grin on his lips appeared as Leon settled into the battle mindset. With no need for instruction, his two pistols began to boom, the bullets flying towards his intended targets. They were huge rounds too, several different monsters being thrown from the weight of the slugs. "Seems like you could use a hand there, eh boy?" Leon called, his pistols still shouting their shrills of death. Leon had to move and dodge, taking every off chance he could to adjust his targets and to reload. Eventually, he holstered his guns and out came the sword, its edge glowing a phantom black sheen. Though the guns were impressive, Leon's sword was equilly fearsom, the blade rending flesh and bone left and right. However, no matter the number of things that Leon felled, whether it be ghost or monster, there was always more to take its place, as well as the large monster, now apparent as a rat-like being. Seeing no real other option, Leon wanted to give himself some breathing room. Technique 17, Trailed Spark. Leon intoned mentally.
Striking the ground to create a kind of electrical spark, Leon caught the charge on the tip of his blade. Using his body as a kind of pendulum, Leon swing the sword in a cleaving arc, bringing the charge through the air, amplifying the effects due to the revibrations through the air to create an extended electrical string. It, however, ended as Leon's swing came to an end. But, luckily for him, the effect he was aiming for had happened, clearing an area around him for him to regain ground and to get a better vantage on the area. Hopefully his comrade was doing around as well as he was, though the tide of creatures was surely daunting. Tell me if you want me to change anything. Most of this was just spur of the moment, and I need to go back and talk about the Technique that was mentioned in my response. I'm planning on making an addendem to my character sheet explaining the Techniques that Leon knows and where he picked them up, well... actually how he created them. Hopefully this can work well with what you had planned DM

As he tried to get the little monsters cleared so he can actually jump out the window, he would be able to get away, as he cleared 2/3's more, he saw that guy before, who had asked him about the Inn. At least someone herd his cries.
He cleared out more monsters as they went. He then saw swords coming out of his guns. But he had no time to think. He cleared out several more, suddenly he felt an electrical surge in the air. It was coming from this mysterious guy.
Dm's eyes started to glow a bright red crimson color. His energy level went up. He then lifted his hand, and chanted an ancient language not known to Gaia. Suddenly a bright glowing green light appeared and killed about half the monsters in the room. Only thing untouched was the rat.
(OOC: That's fine. I actually don't have anything planned. It is on the spur of the moment for me as well. Genocide, is my character as well. )

The concussive force of the expultion of magic forced Leon to bow his head and his coat to whip and snap in the wake. As soon as it passed Leon turned to look at the silver haired man, his eyebrow cocked. Tremendious power inside of that one. Might need to keep a check on him. Leon thought. Most of the monsters in the area had been cleared, the others scampering off in fear of the magic. All but one, the monsterously sized rat.
Turning fully to look at the last advercary, Leon lowered the point of his sword to the ground. Thinking quickly about the current scenario, Leon saw only a few options that would get the both of them out of this alive. This however, became muttled due to the fact that his compatriot was positively glowing with magic. He would more then likely not need any help from Leon, or pay any heed to him either. Guess i'll have to resort to using another technique... But which one? Leon quietly thought. Something that would target a single opponent and maximize the damage to it, but at the same time, minimize the area destruciton. The answer? "Technique 12: Blood Money." Leon intoned, wiping the flat of his sword with his thumb and fore-finger. Leon launched himself into the air and threw his sword like a spear at the rat, which impailed it in the spine. While in the air still, Leon pulled out both chest holstered guns, reloaded, and opened up on the beast. As he landed, Leon began to warp around the target, still firing the deadly weapons, reloading them every so often. The technique was a disorientation attack as well as a blindingly quick and responsive one, which left the target guessing as to where the next attack would come from. Blood poured from numerous wounds on the target and shreaks of pain, as well as frenzied claw attacks came in a different angles and locations, all trying to stop the spray of pain.
Leon ceased his teleporting about by appearing on top of the creature, taking his sword in hand, and twisting it deeper and then out of the creature in a different angle then its entrance, ripping open a still larger wound. Doing a graceful backflip off of the monster, Leon landed and backstepped quickly away from the rat. Try getting back up from that attack, ya freakin' mutant. Leon mentally jested, his sword in hand and ready to continue the fight. Again, need to go and list these techniques, have been working on it, but its a long list with detailed information. Sorry if it seems quite a bit OP xD

Mage watched his fellow fighter attack the monster. He was amazed, but he had to attack at the same time. He slapped his hands together and made a clapping noise, then he said FIRE, while extending his arms out with his hands putting his hands up like if they were touching a wall. Suddenly a ring of fire came up. He then threw a fireball through it and caused an explosion on the rat. After they both attacked it seemed it was stunned. After a few seconds it got back up and attacked both of them. Swiping first at Mage with it's huge claws, then it's tail at Leon. He flipped backwards and landed on the banister of the second floor. (OOC: It's alright. lol. I don't write much. )

The thing apparently still had some fight left in it, as it's monsterous tail swung at whiplash speed towards Leon. Making a last minute dodge backwards, Leon felt a sting as the tip of the tail knicked his arm. Just like a whip... Interesting. Leon mused as he rolled his shoulder. Taking his sword up in a combat pose, Leon waited for the thing to swing at him again. Predictably it swung it counter the first pass, and ran into Leon's blade.
There was a sickening crunch as the blade connected with bone and flesh and then a small sprey of blood. Luckily for Leon, he had moved with the tail, rolling under the now stumpier appendage. A roar of both annoyance and of pain came from the monsters mouth as it tried to focus on both of the attackers. Leon only hoped that his partner was fairing as well as he was.
Taking no time, Leon moved closer to the beast and began to cut and carve the beasts flanks, chopping the rest of the flailing tail off. A sound thud came off of it as it hit the floor. "I've had it with this!" Leon yelled as he climbed to the back of the creature once more. Taking his blade, Leon rammed its point into the spinal column of the monster. With his augmented arms, Leon ripped the blade up through the spine, all the while the creature bucking and thrashing. The point reached the bottom of the skull quickly, and Leon waisted no time. "Technique 33, Mountain Crusher!" He intoned. Leon ripped the blade out of the body, jumped up into the air, and drove the blade into, and then out of the creatures body, from the top to the bottom. The force exerted nearly turned the upper portion of the skull to schrapnel and pieces of what seemed to be brain splattered to the floor. A nice and neat hole sat all the way through the creature's body, and Leon had to climb out of the hole he had entered.
Blood and other bodily fluids dripped from not only his blade, but from his coat as well. That's just plain nasty... Leon thought to himself. Now on top of the corpse, the body ceasing to move with its brain pretty much slagged, Leon hopped down to the floor. As he hit the floor, however, his knee buckled and he went down on the other. Using different techniques in such rapid succession was physically tiring on him, he had to remember that. He hadn't needed to use them in such a long time that he was out of practice.

Mage was doing the best he could, but he wasn't strong enough. With each magic attack it didn't seem to affect it really. You could see small light scratches, but that was about it. He stopped and looked at the other guy in amazement. He couldn't believe what he saw. In a few seconds, the creature fell to the floor, and saw his partner come out of it dripping with blood. Wow, that's very impressive. He exclaimed. Who are you? (OOC: Not very much to add for me self. )

He started to hear what it seemed to sound like a fight, he was itching to get into a fight with someone or something, but no one seemed to be strong enough for him.
He got up and noticed a crowed around the Mansion. He broke his way through and peeked through the door. He was impressed with the warrior, but he wasn't to impressed with the Mage. He watched as the warrior killed the monster.
Hmm. Very, very impressive. He said out loud to the warrior. He walked in, and looked around. What is your name?

Two different people were wondering who he was, which made Leon feel somewhat important. Not like they would know who he was at any rate, but then again, if he could begin to build up a noterioty, then all the better. Pushing himself back onto his feet and catching his breath, Leon turned towards his comrade in arms and the new arrival.
"Howdy. The name's Leon Deltova, mercenary extraordinaire. It's a pleasure, I'm sure." Leon said with a slight bow.
A little arrogant, but then again, he had just proved himself a capable warrior. Though he was a bit rusty with his techniques, Leon none-the-less was going to have to get use to them. It was all a part of training.
He took a quick look outside of the door and saw a fairly large crowd of people, all looking into the mansion trying to witness the fight. He smiled and chuckled to himself. Good, at least these people have SOME idea of what I'm capable of. As well as that mage over there. Without his help, I probably would have been in trouble. Leon though to himself.
"My friend," Leon said, addressing the mage. "I'm more then glad to have had your help in that fight. I just wish I could have gotten here sooner. Might I ask you both," Leon continued, addressing both of those who had asked him his name. "Who you are?"
It was a simple thing really, common courtasy and the like. Knowing who his allies were was an important thing to a warrior, and seeing them in battle was also important.
"Oh yes, and before I forget." Leon said, turning to some of the people, who had mustered up a little bit of courage and had begun to walk into the mansion. "Does anyone have a shower and a washing station? I could desperatly go for a little bit of cleaning up." He said, making a slight gesture to his attire.
