The ske above was blue, with not a cloud to be seen, which allowed the sun to cast its golden rays on the one soul below. The steady drone of a motorcycle's engine could be heard as it and its rider approached the oriental city before them: Wutai.
Yazoo's green eyes relfected curiosity as he came to a stop before the city, for he had never been here before. However, for Sepheroth's name was known here, the residents could know of him easily. He pulled the keys from the ignition, dismounting his motorcycle and putting the kickstand down with a foot. "Wutai, hm? I've always wanted to visit here." The silver haired man mused, regarding the place before him calmly.
The truth was, it was not only the city that piqued his curiosity, but the stories of the White Rose of Wutai. Suppousedly, she was some sort of ninja who kept the peace. And, of course, a big bad criminal like himself would no doubt draw her attention, whoever she was.

Leon could never find a quite place to relax. There was always something that either interested him enough to get up and walk away from the peace and quiet, or there was something that forced him to get up and leave it. In this case, it was the drone of an engine. Relaxing out in the open expanse outside of the village of Wutai was a semi-tradition of Leon's, but then again, so was drinking hard and fighting. When asked if the only things Leon did were for self interest, he would shrug and take another drink.
Well, today had been a perfect day. A great sunrise, a warm breakfast aboard his ship, and plenty of sun and warm weather. He would have preferred to be on the beach, but he was too lazy to start up the engines of the Ragnarok and move. So, he had taken a few bottles of Jack with him to a large outcrop of rock outside the main gates of the village, a book, and his normal gear. I.E. His gunblade, his untility tool, and his combat knife. Nothing substantial, but essential. Well, he was beginning to doze off when the sound of the engine roused him from his falling condition. Propping hiself onto one arm, Leon looked about, quickly spotting the cause of the noise. A motercycle with a lone rider, rolling down the "road" to the village. "Oh great... either a tourist, or a problem." Leon said, hanging his head. With a grunt, Leon got up from his spot and set down the bottle that he had in his hand. Being able to take a substantial amount of drink to even feel buzzed, Leon was a sober as could be. With ease, Leon hopped down to the ground and walked into view of the man. The man, whom Leon didn't know, had shut the engine of his motercycle down, pulled the keys and seemed about ready to venture into the village itself.
"Well howdy there. If you don't mind me askin', what's a guy like you doing in a backwoods place like Wutai. No need to get upset now, i'm just curious is all." Leon said, keeping his hand in visible range. Leon rested his arms by crossing them easily, but he was ready for anything that the guy might pull. A warrior is only as good as his training, an Leon had had a LOT of training in his time. Hell, he was still doing it. So, no sense in throwing caution to the wind. He had an easy smile on his face, sunglasses over his eyes and his hair played gently in the breese. A picture of innocence, all except for his gunblade on his hip. Again, one could never be too careful.

Yazoo turned around to gaze back at the newcomer, a calm look about him. He was aware that thie man was armed, so his hand drifted nonchalantly to where Velvet Nightmare was attatched to his hip, lingering over it yet not exactly drawing it. Whoever he was, he smelled of alchohol. Yazoo hadn't been known to drink, enjoying a red wine every now and again, but it wasn't common. But the scent coming from this man was heavy, indicating he was a heavy drinker, which made him wrinkle his nose ever so slightly. Despite this, he seemed as sober as can be.
"Can't one merely want to explore a city he's never been to before without drawing suspicion? Don't try and play it off, I see your weapon." The silver haired man replied, voice as smooth as velvet. Well, this newcomer's suspicion was all understood. After all, he was a criminal now. After his escape from Corel Prison, it was his face on wanted posters. It was funny, really, to see those idiots try and track him down by offering such petty rewards.
"If you do not mind my asking, why exactly do you feel compelled to approach a simple man on a motorcycle? It's as if you've never seen one before."

Leon smiled, taking in the whole scene before him. A drifting hand, like Leon's, the same kind of dementor that Leon had show him, reflected back at him, only different words were used. "Oh I have nothing against an inquisitive spirit, friend. Nothing at all. It just that the locals aren't very use to mechinery. Between you and me, I had a run in with a number of guards when I first got here. Had to do with my bike as well. They didn't like the noise, so they sent out a garrison of armed guards to greet me. Just wanted to pass on a bit of caution to ya, no harm in that one, eh?" Leon said, shifting his weight onto his other foot. What Leon had said was in part the truth, but a part of it was pure myth. But, Leon was known for having a silver tounge when it came to lying.
"As for the weapon here, you know the random critter occasionally wanders about, looking for something smaller then it, or weaker then itself to make it's dinner. One can never be too careful. Just a precaution, more for show then anything really." Leon explained. Now that was the truth. Occasionally a monster did rear its head around these parts, but when it came after Leon, well... not much was left of the monster after Leon's gunblade had had a talking with it. Other then that, Leon normally wore it about, taking it off for occasion but never letting it out of his sight for very long.
"Other then that, I've no reason to stop ya from headin' inside. Have fun and I just hope you remember what I mentioned about the locals and technology. Oh, and don't cause trouble. They've no tolarance for trouble-makers." Leon said, his smile never leaving his face. "Now, iffin you don't mind, I'm going to return to my book. Have a good one, friend." Leon said with a short bow. Then, he turned on his heel and walked back towards the outcrop of rocks. He jumped up the short distance of ten feet and nestled back into his position, out of sight from the road, but a good vantage spot for a sniper. Leon just hoped that the intention of the stranger down there was something other then the aura around him.

Yazoo let out an amused snort. Clearly, this man had no idea who he was. In fact, he was positive that it'd be him on the other end of that Gunblade if he did. "They can deal with it. I'm sure they'd be much more bothered if they did intervine."
But, sure enough, as soon as Leon had gone, he found himself surrounded by armed guards. "Excuse me, sir, but we have strict rules against noise pollution here. We're going to have to take that motorcycle." Yazoo's hand closed around his gun as he cocked his head to one side. "And you think I'm going to let you?" One of the Wutai guards came to stand nearly nose-to-nose with him, trying and failing to be intimidating. "We will use force if we have to, sir." A soft laugh escaped him. "As will I" The guard didn't seem to process that there was a gun barrel pressing into his ear until the trigger was pulled, killing him instantly.
As the felled man crumpled to the ground, other guards were already charging at him. With a smirk, Yazoo backflipped over their attacks, firing a round of shots in mid-air to kill off at least three more. Back on the ground now, he was ducking and weaving nimbly around spear tips and shooting any that dared to actually attack. All of them were dead before long.
"How boring. Interesting fights are so hard to come by."he mused, stowing his weapon back in its holster. Deciding it was in everybody's best intrest, he concealed his motorcycle behind a patch of shrubbery. He had two means of transportation, after all. His single wing snapped out, scattering both black and silver feathers around his feet.

The woman had been watching the scenes unfold from the top of a cliff, sitting there in her regular battle armor with her legs dangling down the side. She luckily wasn't too far off, she could hear their voices on the wind still.
She had left Midgard, Kyrie's orphanage in search of this world, explore it's contents. She had arrived in Wutai two days ago with nothing but a knapsack, she had thumbed her way from town to town getting rides in exchange for manual labor. From helping new moms the first days with their baby to making music. She didn't want violence in her journey just this one time, just to see if violence really had a knack of finding her.
She had her weapons neatly tucked away in her knapsack, but pulled them out when she saw a woman on a motorcycle ride in, and something about her made the hairs on her neck stand up. And so she had sat down on the side of the cliff edge she had been walking over to see the scene unfold from her birds eye view. Watching the brown haired man with a.. wait was that a gun or a sword? walk in to her she seemed them both calm. Then the woman opened her mouth to reply to the brown haired man and she was blown away.
Wait, is that a MAN?!
She blinked, still stunned, having a better look at the man it was indeed shown that he was male, the depth of the voice was unmistakable so was his physique at better look. She scratched her head, kind of stunned she could have made such a mistake. Was she losing her judgment?
She was about to leave when she heard the Wutai guards come in. They had been pestering her as well, but she had decided to avoid them. She didn't want to make a conflict when she could avoid one.
Yet, she stilled when she heard the first gunshot, her head twisting back to the scene as if in slow motion. No.. no.. he just didn't. She clenched her jaw as her feelings were confirmed, and the man was on the ground, blood leaking from his ear. She knew he was dead. She pulled her legs up and crouched down, no matter how much she wanted to step in, she had to watch the fight, heading straight into a battle without knowing your opponent was often a fatal mistake.
When the man was done she had jumped down from where she was crouching, watching him hide his bike away. She took some distance from him. If he decided to charge she wanted to see him coming. She staggered slightly at seeing the wing come out of his back. What -was- he..?
"First you kill them, then you obey their orders. Isn't that a bit backward thinking lad?" She said softly, her voice neutral, her hand hovering by her holsters.

Yazoo whipped his gun from its holster to aim it at whoever was addressing him. Despite the fact he knew all the guards who had attacked him were dead, but he wasn't taking any chances.
Seeing that this newcomer was obviously not a Wutai soldier, his arm slowly lowered, but he refused to stow his weapon away. one could never be too careful. At her question, amusement flitted across his face. "Backwards thinking? I don't think so. I'd rather my motorcycle not be stolen whilst I'm away." He shrugged, causing more ebony feathers to scatter on the ground around him.

Her green eyes narrowed ever so slightly when the gun was aimed at her face and her hand had already closed around one of her own, but refraining from drawing it from her holster. There was something about this guy that didn't sit well with her. And it wasn't just that wing, one of the feathers falling next to her leather booted feet.
"Granted. Even though you could have done that without killing those guards."
Maybe she should steal his bike as soon as he was gone just to spite him. She sighed softly, the man's clothing weren't much different to her own, and seeing from the wear and tear on it, he knew his fair share of fighting. She had promised herself no conflict, but letting someone getting away with murder without any consequences was not right either.
She had to keep check of her temper, she could feel her hands were getting hot, too hot.

Yazoo shrugged, seeing that this woman obviously didn't agree with his tactics. Actually, Elstan and his siblings were the only ones who did. "Living the life I do has not made me hesitant about killing those who wish to do me harm. Which, unfortunately, is just about every other person these days." He spun Velvet Nightmare on a finger and stowed it away once more.
For some reason, he doubted that his words were the ones this woman wanted to hear. He could see anger flitting across her face, and by the unnatural heat coming off her in waves, he could tell that she was gifted with supernatural powers. Well, if a fight was coming, he'd be ready.

Leon sighed. The gunshot had caused him to get back up onto one arm with a frown upon his lips. Why do people never listen? He thought. With an exasperated sigh, Leon got back up and down the outcrop of rocks. Now, instead of only the man, there was a young woman there, ripples of heat rising through the air around her. Leon was in time to see the man holster his gun, but noted how his hand lingered near the weapon itself. Though he didn't hear the exchange of words, Leon surmised that the woman was angry at whoever this guy was for killing the guards.
Leon sighed as he got nearer to the two, carefully stepping around the woman. "Looks like you had a bit of a scuffle here, friend. Now, I don't want to seem like the downer, but not one of your best ideas. I understand the need of self defence, and the right to protect your property. Same thing happened with me actually." Leon said, placing a thoughtful hand on his chin as he remembered his first few days near Wutai. "Anyhow," he continued, breaking himself of the brain storming. " I just wanted to give a friendly reminder that people around these parts don't take kindly to violence, or to technology. If you'd like, I know a place that you're bike would be safe til you got back around to fetching it." Leon said, trying to open up ways of avoiding a fight. Unfortunatly, being able to calculate several outcomes of this fairly rapidly, Leon saw only three real endings to this. One, the man would take up Leon's offer of stashing his bike, two, a fight broke out and someone would more then likely get hurt, or three, the elite guard would come and probably lock the three of them up.
The first two weren't terrible, but the third was a cake-walk. Though they were better trained guards then the normal ones, they still clung to traditional ideas, except they employed stasis kinds of magic. An interesting bit of magic, something that Leon was particularly here to study. Other then getting away from city life, Leon was here to learn and to relax. Hard enough being more or less a bounty hunter, or a mercenary. So, taking his time and using his experience of his jobs, Leon crossed his arms and placed several wards around himself, hiding the weaving of his hand between the crook of his arm and his side.
"Now then, why can't we all just settle down and talk things over? Much easier then filling eachother with holes." Leon said, the lax smile returning to his lips. "How about over a glass of whiskey?" Leon said, willing to share this drink if it ment avoiding another fight. A fight between these three would cause a lot more harm then good, because now that Leon had seen the wing on his back. Having only stories and rumors to go on, Leon came to know the three "brothers" and followers of the Nightmare, Sephiroth. But, if this guy was one of the three, he didn't know who Leon was, or his achievements. Hopefully the two would agree to talks, or to the drink. Something, either way, was going to happen, so Leon was ready for any outcome.

The coming of the other man, a brown haired man taller then her with a diagonal scar over his face seemed to calm her temper a bit, and the air stopped wavering about her. She nodded in acknowledgment to the man, indeed his solution would be a good one.
"That would also solve your issue of getting it stolen, Sir. She said slowly, making sure to keep her tone neutral. Her voice was warm, and smooth.
She looked at the dead men on the ground, her eyebrows turning up as she sighed. That was far more hassle then she had wished for. She didn't want to fight, she had only been been brought back from near death by Kyrie a few weeks ago and it would be terribly rude to get herself harmed yet again. Sisi would generally only fight out of self defense.
She gave a small grin to the brown haired man, shaking her head at his offer "I must decline, I don't hold my liquor well at all I'm afraid." .
Looking down at the men again she sighed "We can't just keep them laying around here. People will panic and I'm not in the mood to get involved in another murder case" Her green eyes looked at the silver haired man's sharply, berating him silently. It was a general groundrule, if you murdered someone you had to get rid of the bodies as well. People weren't stupid.

Suspicion was sharp in Yazoo's cat-like green eyes. He wasn't one to trust many people, especially a woman who seemed seconds away from setting him on fire, and a man who seemed one bottle of whiskey away from becomming drunk. "I've no need for your assistance, thank you. I believe my message was sent clearly enough." He jerked his head toward the bodies littering the ground where he had been mere minutes ago. Actually, it was mistrust that led him to watching his motorcycle himself. Once again, trust was not common for him. "As for your offer, i will have to decline. I am not too fond of that type of alchohol."
He snorted as the woman shot him a glare, following her gaze to the bodies of the Wutai soldiers. Appearently, the murder rule of thumb was that if you killed somebody, you had to get rid of the bodies. He produced a Fire Mareria from his pocket and pressed it into his arm. He wasn't great at using Fire, but a small spark was all he needed. a tiny ember shot from his outstretched hand and landed in the center of the bodies, igniting them. "Cremation. One of the most honorable ways to leave the Planet."

Why not spit on the corpse already?Leon thought as the man instanty rejected his suggestion. Watching, then, as the man inserted the materia into his arm. Into his arm. That made Leon raise an eyebrow. From his understanding of Materia, however limited it was, it was normally equipped to a piece of armor or a weapon. But, whatever got the job done, Leon supposed. Watching with utmost calm, Leon followed the man's motion by setting fire to the bodies of the guards whom he had killed. His smile had vanished by then, replaced with a neutral frown. With the bodies alight, a sickening smell of burnt flesh and hair rose up into the air.
He really doesn't hold concern for others, Leon noted. Squatting down, Leon placed his first two fingers to the ground and directed a stream of magic around the bodies. The ground around the bodies sank, missing Yazoo, whom Leon still didn't know and enveloped the still burning guards. Soon, the bodies were several feet under the earth and a layer of dirt and rock covered them, putting out the fires, but not eliminating the smell still in the air. Now the bodies were in a make-shift grave. "Well, at least they were buried instead of stuck to someone's boot." Leon remaked, standing back up. The girl seemed to be the most reasonable of the two, but Leon wondered if her temper would flare up at this senseless conflaging of the bodies. Seemed to be kicking a person while they are down. Oh well, Leon had seen much worse in his time.
"So, what does this mean then? What're you going to do now?" Leon asked, his hands on his hips. He streched his back and his arms, his back having been cramped from laying on the rocks on the outcrop. It was as good a time as ever, however, if the guy wanted to start something, or the girl was going to raise holy hell with him for lighting the corpse on fire. However it turned out, Leon was now fully ready for whatever happened.

Yazoo shrugged, not caring about the fate of the Wutai soldier's bodies. It was not in his nature to care. However, he did keep a wary eyes on both strangers, for both seemed like the type who would not be on his side in a fight. especially knowing what he and his Brothers were. Remnants, Monsters, take you're pick. Anything but human, that's for sure.
Well, however the two reacted, he wasn't going to stick around and be part of the possible battle. No use drawing any more attention to himself. Actually, he may just get away clean with this one. Despite the lingering smell of fire and death, there was no sign of the battle. "I believe that it is time to make my leave. It would be futile trying to get in now." Crap, he hadn't thought of that when he had been fighting. Wouldn't it be just a bit suspicious if a whole squad of soldiers vanished at the same time a man bearing an uncanny resembelance to Sepheroth came? It'd be a futile effort to try and get in now.

Leon nodded his head at what the man said. "We'll, maybe after a while, they'll simmer down. They're not going to know who it was who attacked them, well, not by my telling them anyhow." Leon said. He snapped his fingers and a gust came in, scattering the feathers and the smoke that lingered in the air. "I personally don't have anything against you, friend. So long as you don't do anything to hinder me, I'm sure we can co-exist just fine." Leon said, a slight smile on his lips.
He respected the man, his skill with a gun was indeed formidible. A little brash when it came to talking with others, but he was right to the point. Leon respected that, and knew that the man would either be a great ally or a powerful enemy. Hopefully, Leon would meet the man again on better terms and they could potentially become comrades in arms. Or, the could meet on the field of battle. To be honest, Leon was anticipating a fight with him, one just to see who's mettel was stronger. But, that day would have to wait. oOc: Sorry for the shortness of the post, not a lot of muse right now.
