So peaceful. Riding through the Grasslands, the wind blowing in your hair, a feeling he had long since missed, locks of silver gently danced in the gentle breeze as a blue chocobo carried her rider on her back, chirping happily. The silver haired man smiled as he patted the chocobo's neck softly. "Good girl, Aqua," his voice was deep yet shared a softness with a certain young woman. As his cape blew in the wind, he couldn't help but ponder on his current situation. The Planet was in danger, he knew that much, but what could possibly be harming it? Then there was his daughter, Kyrie, her life was in danger? But, due to what? This upcoming danger...? He honestly didn't know, and just thinking about it hurt.
Just when he was about to think more on the situation, he heard a scream, followed by a bellowing roar. Seraph looked ahead of him, his eyes widening with shock and horror. A strange yet impossibly large claw was coming out of the ground, three silver haired men could be seen, one was screaming, the other just standing there whilst the last was concerned about the screaming one, who didn't look older than seventeen.
It was then an electrical form in the shape of a woman bolt out of a large trench that was beginning to form. What blasphemy was this? "Aqua!! Flee!" he shouted, leaping off his chocobo, as soon as he got off, she began to retreat, hiding until her master called for him once more. Before he was seen, the man's body was immediately cased in an unusual looking armour that heightened his senses, but everything around him appeared in auras, no faces could be seen.
He took out his sword, his bow and arrow remaining on his back as he charged to aid the four. He could see a long silver haired man struggling to attack the creature, The Divine Warrior thought quickly as he extracted a glowing orb from his arm.
"Use this!!" he barked, throwing the orb to Yazoo just as the claw lunged at him, The Divine Warrior leapt up, backflipping over the claw as he dodged with ease. The orb he had thrown to Yazoo was a summon, Ifrit, he only hoped that this highly skilled gunman knew how to use it.
Due to the auras of the silver haired men, The Divine Warrior could sense some form of relation between the three, the woman's however was pure white with a rainbow glow, quite extroadinary, but a particular one of the silver haired men intrigued him more, but right now, a battle was to be fought. There was something about the woman's bright white light that worried him, it was fading, which indicated she was about to collapse.
He then saw the claw, which appeared like darkness as it went to strike down on the woman,The Divine Warrior picked up his pace, just about reaching her in time, though thrust his sword up and into the claw, it soon retreated the large appendage, letting out a shrill cry, but surely the battle was not yet over.
"I've got you, my lady," he said to her, unaware of who he was holding as he leapt out of the way of the beast before whistling for Aqua, who immediately came running. Seeing that the woman was already out for the count, he placed her on Aqua, whispering softly to the blue chocobo "take her somewhere safe, understand?"
Aqua soon chirped before carrying the woman on her back and hiding in a safe place. The Divine Warrior then turned to face the beast, looking back at the three men before turning towards the beast.
He had somewhat missed the adventure of battle.

The sudden appearance of the unknown man startled him for a brief moment, but Yazoo knew he had no time to think about whoever this stranger was. There was a more pressing matter at hand. Nodding his thanks, he quickly pressed the Materia into his arm and waved a hand to summon the Ifrit. A red light flashed briefly around his hand, and a rumble shook the ground not far from him. It was lesser tremor, almost gone un-noticed with the rumbling caused by the larger beast.
The Ifrit emerged from the ground, flaming with Hellfire. It seemed to know, somehow, that the hand was its target, rather than the silver haired men. It lunged with a roar, piteous compared to the other monster's, and raked its claws across the monster's hand. The skin split under the blow, but it didn't seem to notice. The hand swatted the fiery nuisance away, but the tiny split was all Yazoo needed.
The silver haired man leapt into the air and fired a round of shots directly at the wound. This was the only blow he truly thought ad any effect. A thunderous roar rang out as the bullets collided with the muscle beneath. The hand came up to swat him down once more, but Yazoo had already dropped back to the ground and was shooting again.

Hope ya'll don't mind me popping in here :') Leon whistled through his teeth as he walked into the outskirts of the frey. He had been in the local area, resting in the shade of the forest, reading a book in fact. Soon, however, the sounds of fighting began to reach his ears. With a sigh and a reluctant look about, Leon left from his quite place to see just what was going on. Well... to say that this wasn't something that he saw everyday was a bit of an understatement. To recap, a large clawed hand was reaching out of a narrow rip in the ground, a fair lenght of a rip at that, and several people were fighting the hand. A man with silver hair, weilding expertly crafted guns, a warrior weiring fairly intricate armor, a young woman, and another young man with long silver hair with a sword on his hip.
Shaking his head, Leon walked towards the fight, his usual calm settling over him. Strange though it was, Leon never really felt much before a fight. A cocked smile, his hands in his pockets, a flowing gant, and his head held high. His gunblade clicked as it knocked against the chain on the end of the pommel. "Looks like ya'll could use a hand." Leon called quietly, not really trying to make his presence exaggerated. He was close to the actual fighting now, and his hand went right to the handle of his sword. His pace quickened as he began to run towards the actual fight.
Now with his gunblade in hand, and his eyes scanning the fight carefully, Leon charged forward. The hand was whipping around, trying to swat the various fighters. The gunman was truly skilled at his art, firing at a wound that had already been caused. Noting a small patch of burn vegetation, Leon wondered to himself if either the creature held control over the element, or if someone had used a bit of magic to attack or defend.
Bullets were flying, so that had to be taken into consideration, the warrior in the notable armor had closed to engage the target as well. Several factors came and went as Leon came to within striking distance. Takeing a few carefully placed steps, Leon lept into the air, more horizontally then vertically and brought the blade into a sidelong chop. The blade came into contact with the hand, no doubt, but as Leon landed, he knew that he had hardly done anything, other then make the creature begin to attack him. Rolling out of the way at a downward swat, Leon looked at the general area he had attacked. Nothing? Not even a mark from his blade? "You're made of some pretty thick stuff, aren't ya?" Leon mocked, dodging another attack. The thing was cumbersom, slow, but Leon knew that to be hit by that thing was probably like getting hit with a bus.
Let's try a new tactic,Leon though to himself. Channeling energy to the rim of his weapon, Leon charged again, the blade of his gunblade glowing a crimson red. Again with placed steps, Leon lept across the gap to make another pass at the creature. This time, however, to a definitive result. Going with a quick cross slash, Leon cut slightly into the creatures hide. A bellow came from below, in the chasm. A run of cold went up Leon's spine at the retort, but he shook it off. Knowing that he would have to use his magic to effectivly open subsequently larger wounds, Leon rolled his shoulder and looked to his other compatriots to see how they faired, moving back out of reach of the arm. OOC: Hope y'all weren't waiting on me XD. I thought I was waiting on somebody, and my muse for this RP poofed for a bit.
BIC:
Yazoo's cat-like eyes slid to this newcomer as he arrived and promptly joined the fight. Humph. Looks like we've got another warrior on our team. He mused inwardy, rolling to avoid another attack. This man was quite the warrior, he had to admit. When his initial attacks merely glanced off the beast's skin, a red glow enveloped the new warrior's blade, and a deep gash was sliced in the thing's skin. It's roar of anger and pain was enough to shake the ground beneath his feet, nearly throwing him off balance.
Well, at least this newcomer had opened quite a big target to shoot at. He backflipped nimbly into the air, kicking off the trunk of a nearby tree to sail further skyward. He fired a quick round of shots at the newly opened wound, feeling a surge of satisfaction at his target's bellow of pain.
However, it was short lived. The hand flew up quicker than he thought it could, swatting him out of the sky like an insect. The silver haired Remnant hit the ground with a dull thud and skidded backward at least twenty feet. He struggled for breath, nearly gagging on the air he fought to regain. Darkness flickered across his vision, yet he was still able to heave himself painfully to his feet.
But his vulnerable state left him open for attacks. The beast, too, seemed to sense this, for the hand came back to rake a single, enormous claw clean across his chest. His mouth flew open in shock, like a silent scream. Blood ran freely from the wound, splattering the grass at his feet with crimson.

Darkness...
Black...
Nothingness...
Was this oblivion? Was there nothing more to this emptyness? She was unaware of where she was, laying on a rooftop with a Chocobo watching over her. As she lay there, Kyrie soon began to hear the voices of Earth, Fire, and Thunder... but bizzarely they all began to speak at once, soon forming into one voice, but it was one she had never heard before... ever.
"A trio combining as one, be one with the darkness, my dear... embrace it into your heart, where light resides, darkness always lurks... evil will not consume you, the spirits have formed as one... I, Ebenus, the superior elemental of Fire, Earth and Thunder shall be your guide... lose sight!"
Suddenly, a hole began to form beneath the woman's body, the Chocobo let out a panicked cry as it backed away whilst darkness poured out of the hole and engulfed Kyrie's form...
Hair of snow white rinsed away into coal black, eyes of silver were now blinded by complete misty blackness, and a dark aura embraced her form. A birthmark that once showed a crescent moon now flashed into the form of a scythe, pink lips were deathly black and eyelids were shadowed, the once angelic girl now seemed more like a gothic doll.
"Darkness... is my ally?" she murmured whilst looking down at her ebony nails, her eyes widened at her attire, but due to the darkness in her eyes it was hardly seen. It was the same, but coloured black and leathered with wing embroidering, obsidian replaced the metalic bands and such.
How had this happened...? Despite everything, she never allowed such things to reach her, especially not darkness nor insanity, but wait... possessing it didn't mean she was evil, and despite her changed appearance, she was still the same, it was only another Elemental blessing her with the gift of their power, what confused her was how Earth, Fire, and Thunder had managed to summon Darkness...
Ah! Back to the matter at hand, the beast was still around. Her head turned in the direction of the scared Chocobo, she blinked for a moment, wondering why or how it was here. No, she couldn't be distracted, so... how would she use darkness?
Just then, she was suddenly startled as her form burst into a form of complete dark mist, making her appear like a pitch black trail of smoke but in a womanly form. So... just like her feathers, she could use it to travel?
Yes! As new as this was, it was almost interesting, exciting even. Looking down at the others below her, she noticed two new people helping Yazoo and Se-... wait a minute, where was Sephiroth!? Had he fled? No... no, surely he wouldn't leave Yazoo to fight for himself, speaking of which, Yazoo seemed to be struggling.
Almost immediately, she was in the air, flying towards them and the beast, maybe she should put this darkness to good use. Just as she was about to land, she thrust her palms forward, sending the darkness off of her form and towards the beast where it soon took its place over the red eyes, the darkness blinding the creature, causing it to become distracted for quite a while. At least she'd be able to help Yazoo.
She turned to him, a small gasp escaped her as she immediately saw his wound. A frown appeared on her features as she tried to switch back to her natural form to heal him, but the darkness wouldn't allow her... did she have to do something first? Okay, maybe this wasn't such fun after all.
"Yazoo? Are you alright?" she asked, stepping towards him, reaching out to his wound, hopefully he knew it was her...
Looking around, she tried to see if Sephiroth could be found, this was ridiculous! Where had he gone!? His brothers were getting hurt! "We can't fight this without Sephiroth," she said to him, trying to pull him away from the fight, as skilled as Yazoo was, there was no way they'd win this. Her gaze soon focussed on something she didn't want to see, Kadaj getting swung into a building, leaving a crater.
"Kadaj!!" she cried, reaching out to him, this was not going well at all... but they couldn't just retreat! Everything would be destroyed! And they'd end up dead. At least for now the beast was blind, but half of the fighters weren't able enough to face this foe "Yazoo, you and Kadaj need to find somewhere safe to hide!"
The was desperation in her tone, she didn't want either him or Kadaj to get hurt, or worse...! She knew Sephiroth would never forgive himself!

Leon watched the claw decend on one of the silver-haired fighters. The spurt of red and the expression frozen on his face was all the incentive Leon needed. Again his gunblade limbed in red. Like a shot, Leon was off, moving towards the retracting arm. He reached it in near a second, but as he did, a ball of darkness shot past him, landing over the creature's eyes. Blinded, the creature flailed its arm about, breaking several mounds of dirt loose, which promptly fell into the crevice that the beast was clawing from. Leon turned to the newcomer, a womanly figure wreathed in black. A grace emenated from her, but at the same time, and evil aura permieated the air about her, sending darkness and dread all around her. But, it was only as sense... nothing more, well... not that Leon could see anyway.
Returning his attention to the flailing monster, Leon's sword never lost its firey glow, and Leon returned to the attack. He launched himself into the air towards the clawed hand. It had held the form of another silver-haired man who used a sword of a kind. It slammed him against a wall, causing a major depression to form in it. A scowl formed on Leon's lips as it released him and went back to try and manage an attack. Pulling his blade back behind his head, Leon chopped with all his strength, hacking through the first few fingers of the beast. The monster roared in agony and pain and immediatly whipped its arm about, catching Leon in the leg. Pain shot through his leg, but he managed to land safely enough. He landed closer to the downed silver-haired man and the darkened woman. She held a pained and sickened look on her face, from the reaction of the man getting slammed into the wall and to the man who lay still on the ground.
" S'cuse me miss." Leon said, moving over to the man who had been clawed. " I've got a bit of experience in this field, so don't mind me." Leon said, kneeling down over the man. He changed his gunblade over into his opposite hand and reversed the blade so that it point behind him. Then, concentrating hard, Leon's hand began to glow a dull blue, which intensified quickly. He focused the healing magic that he knew carefully, not trying to overwhelm the wound, but to speed the recovery of the patiant as much as he could. It was a delicate process, the body needed time to adjust to the rapid acceleration of the healing introduced sythetically. It wasn't difficult to focus the energy, but the application to the major wounds would leave Leon with an open spot in his defence.
He focused the magic for a minute, sending a large amount of energy into the man's wound, and hoped that the magic would indeed help. But, he wouldn't know unless the man got up and complained about being hit, or if the light in his eyes dimmed and faided away. Until then, Leon would have to guess that his work was enough, and turned back to the beast.

Yazoo had sunk to his knees shortly after the wound was torn across his chest. One of his hands was pressed painfully to the wound, yet crimson liquid seeped through his gloved hands. Darkness danced at the edges of his vision, signaling that mybe even his own accelerated may not even be enough to save him from falling into unconciousness. Pain slowly crept through every fiber in his body, setting them aflame with agony.
The sound of his name dully reached his ears as he desperately clung onto conciousness. "Kyrie..?" He breathed hardly able to form the words. He hardly recognized her, what with the new air of darkness she carried abour her, and the dark clothing. Her words barely registered in his brain, but his attention snapped up at the mention of his Brother's name. "Where is Kadaj?" He rasped, looking weakly up to see him slam into a building, leaving a fair sized crater. He looked away, wincing at the sickening sound his Brother's body made as it collided with brick.
A warm, almost comforting feeling spread through his body as the sound of the new fighter's voice reached his ears. He let out a long sigh, closing his green eyes slowly. The healing magic, along with his accelrated healing, was able to take most of the pain of his ingury away. The gash slowly knit itself back together, leaving a long scar across his chest. With a grunt, he heaved himself to his feet, wincing in pain. "I'll take Kadaj and get out of here. Good luck." He said with a nod to Kyrie. "I'll be back later, if you aren't able to defeat it." With a determined look on his face, he limped over to where Kadaj lie, gently shaking him awake. Pausing a beat, he shrugged and gathered his younger brother's form in his arms.

Leon didn't know if the youth was talking to him or not, but irregardless, Leon turned and moved back towards the creature. Sword back in his dominant hand, Leon began to charge again, his blade limbed in red once more. With his eyes fixed on his target, Leon leaped forward at the arm. Landing on the crook of the arm, Leon stabbed down into the arm, searing away the tough scales and sinew that resided there. A howl rose up from beneith him, but he ignored it, pulling his blade out and chopping at the new wound. The arm whipped about, trying to dislodge him, but Leon gripped the edge of the wound and held on, sending more howls of anger and pain up from the crevice.
Riding the flailing arm, Leon hacked away at the wounds he had inflicted, enlarging the cuts and weakening the connection to the arm itself. A sickening crunch and snapping came from the arm as Leon severed several key connections in the arm, dislogding it and causing it to go limp. Leon leaped from the arm just in time to see it snap and bend in all the wrong ways. Focusing the magic in his body and around him into the center of his hand, Leon fired a bolt of his most powerful magics at the wound, trying to center it into the wound he had inflicted. For the most part, the energy went into the wound, but a portion of it was deflected off due to the skin of the creature. Enough, however got it and did just what Leon had hoped it would do. The resulting blast was nothing to sneese at, for it severed the upper portion of the arm from the base, ripping up the remaining stub badly as well. A scowl formed on Leon's lips as he watched the dismemberd arm flop to the ground and vanish, decomposing into the ground.
"Damn this thing's hard to kill..." Leon remarked out loud, looking at the place where the arm had vanished. He would have to come up with several different procedures and possibilities to combat this thing. He didn't want to have to use the Ragnarok unless things had no other alternative. He was physically tired, as well, from using that much magic in that one attack, so seeing things as they were, that possibility was fairly close at hand.
