Isolation From the World (Sephiroth)

Sephiroth keeping Dez safe, Held onto her. He was amazed at Darkmage's new found power. Finally the fight was over. He watched Dez go in behind him, as that strange woman threatened to kill her at all cost. "As long as you are with me you will be safe and no one will harm you." He watched Darkmage come walking up to them. His eyes had turned back to white. "Nope, I guess you didn't need my help after all. He paused for a moment, and then herd Darkmage again. "Yes it seems so Darkmage, you are doing a wonderful job now. I just hope you can control your powers as when I let you out into the world."

He watched Darkmage's cloak turn back to white, from being black. He then couldn't see him anymore as he disappeared into the shadows.

Dez clung to Sephiroth's arm, watching the strange man walk away. "Who is that, Sephy?" she asked, scared and tired from the long days and then from the excitement and fear of the last battle. She plopped down on top of the blankets, looking up at him curiously, although all she wanted to do was sleep.

"He is my counter part / Half brother. Hojo extracted cells from me Jenova, and Cloud, Which then created Darkmage. He knows most Materia Skills, and that last Skill he did, was really cool, and new. He must of combined the 3 materia, to create Bahamut Zero. Which is not a bad skill either. The Fire 4 he must of did the same thing." He noticed that Dez dropped to the blankets. He sat down next to her. He gave her a kiss on the lips. Then hugged her. "You will be safe. and now especially with Darkmage if he created new things."

Dez blushed a deep crimson red at the kiss, and buried her face in his shoulder shyly. She was unsure of how to reply to that; she had never kissed a boy before. "Sorry, I've... uh... I've never been kissed before..." she said quietly, stumbling over her words in a rush to get them out. She felt dumb for not knowing what to do. She wasn't used to being caught off gaurd by anything like this before, and she was a bit confused.

"Its alright..... that... was.. mine too." He said in a soft voice. Now.. It is time for bed. He lays his head down on the pillow. He looked up into the opening of the crater to look at the sky, many stars gleamed. The moon which was a full moon tonight, lit up the crater a bit. He kept the fire going for warmth.

Dez curled up tightly next to him like a small kitten, making sure his arm was around her. She grinned. "Wanna hear a bed time story?" she asked cutely, although she sounded sleepy at the same time. She followed his gaze to the sky and prayed to any god in existance that he would stay with her forever. This was something she didn't think she could bare the lose.

Sure, I wanna here something lovely, I wanna always here your voice. He said calmly. He stared at her for a moment, then looked back up at the sky.

Dez grinned at him. "Once upon a time, not very long ago, there was a little girl who lived in a large city. Her family was poor, and they lived in the slums of the city. She was loved, though, and she was happy for a time. But she dreamt of a knight coming to save her someday, to take her out of the slums and to the upper part of the city, where you could actually see the sky and breath fresh air. Eventually, that longing for escape flooded over her oblivious bliss of not knowing anything else. Day in and day out she watched rebels that lived in that same sector of the city come and go, sometimes making it on the news with their attacks on the evil company that pretty much ruled over the city. She longed to be one of those people; she even went and dyed her hair blue in her rebellion against her parents," Dez giggled, playing with her own blue locks. "She was their only daughter though, and they still loved her very much, blue hair and all... She took it for granted though, although she never misbehaved too much; she got a job in the market in the next sector of the town so she could help pay the bills and buy food."

"One day, after the rebel group attacked the company again, they decided to destroy the sector; they figured that would eliminate the cause, especially if they could blame it on the rebel group. They dropped the plate above the sector onto all of the people. The girl wasn't home at the time; she had gone to the market in the next sector to pick up her paycheck and buy some of the groceries in order to surprise her mother. The ground shook and the people watched the plate fall; it wasn't hard to see..." Dez's voice broke a little, but she continued on. "She ran, hoping that everything was okay, that her parents had gotten out... but they hadn't... So she left. She had lost everything, and had nothing but a little money and her gun that her father had given her for her birthday just three days previous. She managed to get out of the city with a couple of people who knew ways to get out without getting caught. She traveled for many days, maybe even weeks, fighting monsters and crying out for her parents. She had lost track of time when she finally came to a small town, where she got a place to live and got a day job as a waitress and spent the rest of her time as a mercenary... She still prayed for her knight, though she lost most of her hope when a large Meteor almost destroyed the Planet and everything on it." She didn't say much more on that subject.

"Finally, a few years later, after talking to a fortune teller who told her to go back , although there wasn't much to go to because the city had been destroyed in Meteorfall, she went home. She hadn't slept for almost two days, but kept riding until she got there on her trusty motorbike. There were many memories there for her, and much sadness, when she was attacked by a monster that she easily defeated. And then a man dropped down from the skies, with the most beautiful and, your hair is very soft by the way but that's a different story, the most stunning green eyes. He took her to a lake where she screamed at him when she realized that he was the one who had called Meteor in the first place. Then together they fought off a bunch of soldiers with great ease and he flew with her to a big crater where they were attacked by a crazy evil woman..." she yawned and snuggled closer to him. "But all went well, and they laid down to sleep finally. Do you want to know what the last thing she said to her knight before she fell asleep was?"

She was going to tell anyways, but a yawn stopped her short again. "She said to him, 'I love you, my knight', and drifted off to..." her voice faded and then disappeared completely, replaced by the calm, even breathing of sleep.

He listened to her. Wow what a beautiful story. He listened to her more. I love you t... Before he could finish his words, she fell asleep. He kissed her on her cheek. He the looked up into the sky. Wow beautiful.... Shooting star. He said so low it was almost like he was whispering. He fell asleep.

Dez dreamt of a knight on a white horse that night, a man who swept her off of her feet and they rode off together into the sunset. The only difference between this dream and the similar dreams she had had before was that now, the knight had a face and a name; Sephiroth. She felt a little better about actually having someone there she could count on to protect her, as much as she felt she didn't need the protection from anything. She felt safe in his arms, something she knew was slightly ironic because of him being the one who had tried to destroy the planet. None of that mattered to her anymore, because now they had each other. Maybe in time that hatred toward the world he had would change, although she knew it would take alot. Destroying things wasn't something that was too bad, she just didn't want to lose a second home.

Sunlight, although it was dim and spotty because of the clouds, filtered through her eye lids, waking her up. She sat up, looking around. In the partial daylight, the cave wasn't too scary anymore. She looked down at the sleeping Sephiroth with a soft, loving smile. She kissed him gently on the lips, hoping not to disturb him and crawled closer to the still burning fire with a blanket wrapped around her slim form.

(Think of the first part as an anime comic, with the razor sharp teeth, after winning a battle, and laughing. and Sephiroth a Chibi along with Dez ^_^ )

Sephiroth was still laying there. Sleeping. He had a dream, This dream seemed different from others, His other dreams, were about taking over the world, blowing it up, and going from planet to planet destroying every single last forsaken planet in the universe. But this dream was about Dez, He saved her from the clutches of that crazy woman, and he killed Daleeria, and saved Dez and the whole world, next thing was that when he won the final battle between him and Daleeria, he married Dez.

After that he felt a small pressure on his lips. His eyes opened a few minutes later. He sits up, looks around, and goes over to were Dez was sitting. He sat next to her, and put his arm around her and moved her closer to him. He gave her a kiss. He then took the blanket that Dez was wrapped around with and wrapped it around him too.

Dez smiled up at him, snuggling closer and then laid her head on his shoulder. She let a comfortable silence engulf them before she finally said: "G'Morning," her voice was still kind of sleepy. She didn't know how much sleep she had gotten, but it didn't make up for the two days prior, she was certain. "I dreamt about you last night... It was a really good dream, of course... It was kinda like my story only more fairytaleish... I hope I have more dreams like that more often."

She looked up at the partially cloudy sky, watching the grey masses of fluff move south, sometimes revealing the sun through small holes in them. "I always did like mornings; the beginning to a new day, and sometimes even the beginning of a new life. There's always so much to see and hear in the morning, although none of that can be heard here; birds, the wind through the grass and the trees, people chattering in the streets about their daily lives. Sure, sometimes I could do without that last one, but it's there... and I cherish it to a certain extent..."

He came closer to her, as she came closer to him. I had a dream about you too, I saved you from that crazy woman, and I married you. He looked up at the sky as well. he could see some birds flying above, he also herd whistles from the morning breeze going through the holes in the crater.

I don't know much about my life besides what Hojo gave me, he gave me dreams. I have no home, nothing, I kill and destroy things for lust, and the pleasure of killing. He sat there for a moment. He looks into her eyes deeply, he moves a bit forward and kisses her, he takes his tongue out and massages her tongue. He then gives her a hug. I love you. He said with a tired tone.

Dez stared at him for a moment, taking in what he had said about his dream. Marriage was something she had thought about often when she was younger, but now she hardly ever thought of at all. She hadn't seen enough married couples to know if she would like it or not.

She kissed him back; what else could she do? She loved him, and although she was so inexperienced, she wasn't about to let her insecurities get in the way. She buried her face in the crook of his neck. "People can change... Even people like you... I know you can, otherwise I doubt I'd be living right now... This is the first time I've been in love, and the first time I've ever been wanted like this... I could easily do what I normally do to any other relationship and try to run, but I'm not... You're not the only one who has to change, I do too," she said softly, nuzzling his neck softly. "I love you, very much... And honestly, I'm not sure if I can emotionally comprehend that yet. It'll take some time for it to sink in, but I'll always be here with you, for as long as you want me. And if there ever comes I time you don't want me anymore, I'll understand and I'll let you go, at least physically... Life isn't worth it without someone to love afterall..."

Wow such deep words. He paused for a moment. Hugged her, and laid back down. He closed his eyes for a few minutes. All he could see was Dez's face... nothing else, not even destruction.
