Those That Await Death

The icicle landscape of Gaia: cold, dangerous and beautiful. It is inhabited by creatures that live in the harsh conditions and somewhere far off in the southern side lays a village. In the large crater located on the northern side echoed the footsteps of a being, while the sounds of cracking ice, and water drops accompanied the echoing sound from behind. Suddenly a group of footsteps emerged from the sounds. Barking and growling filled the atmosphere with violence, followed by the sounds of wavering energy. However, it quickly stopped and the sound of a being’s footsteps echoed across the crater in the same pace as before once again.

Alex overheard all of the comotion from the villiage. He was supposed to be on vacation, but nothing comes between Alex and a chance to fight something. (Alex can hear for miles.) Alex jumped out of the house he was renting and began to sprint toward where he heard the noise. Alex thought this would be a good time to see if anyone got hurt or killed, although it sounded like a group of monsters attacked someone or something. Alex did like the cold, for he was born in a very cold area, and he didn't mind that it was below freezing. Once he reached the area from where he heard the fighting, he stopped and began to look around for anything out of the ordanary.
