Alex observed the huge glowing aura around him. It was filled with rumors for the entire world. Kaida was upstairs doing something that Alex really didn't care too much about at the moment. He observed the massive amount of rumors that were being told. Until finally, he found one that iterested him.
"You know what I heard?" Began a young woman's voice. "I heard that there's a person in Junon right now, with a spirit so full of magic that it terrorizes the people of Junon, and none dare leave their houses in the general area!" That was all that Alex needed to hear. He closed the aura around him and just then Kaida was coming back.
He could see the sword shards that were in the cloth. He inspected the shards as she spoke. "I can repair it when we see Dezzy in Junon." He picked up one of the shards with a careful hand. "I'm sure I can. So," He set down the peice. "Whenever you're ready, we can go."

Kaida shook her head. "It'll work better if I repair it with her help; this is a different type of sword, it needs to be forged by the person who will use it or something close to that," she replied, putting it back in her pack. "I'm ready at any time you are."
((OOC: I'll have Damani join you in a little while, after she's done in Midgar. I don't like trying to be in multiple places at multiple times... Is Angeal going to join us in the one in Junon?))

((OOC: I'm pretty sure he is, but just in case, I'll talk to him on monday, cuz he's outta town for the weekend. But, we can start without him for now, then he'll join.))
Alex smiled. "If you do need help with it, I can, but suit yourself." He then lay on the ground next to the fountain, facing up at the Night Sky. It looked so peaceful and content. "We can leave as soon as all my energy is back." He examined the stars and thought of home. He chuckled. "I wonder if I can see home from here?" He placed his hands behind his head, and just then a meteor shower began. "Wow!" He exclaimed as the meteors flew by.
It presented quite a show to him, and he felt very thankful for being here. Otherwise, he probably would be fighting someone or something, or looking around aimlessly for Damani. "Kaida, you looking at this? It's partly the reason why I think I'm here. I'm suppossed to help protect the people so that they can see things like this. How 'bout you? You have any idea why you're an Angel?"
He shook his head again. "Never mind, stupid question. Let's just look at the meteor shower." He gazed further into the storm, and saw natural beauty in the sky. It made him wonder if that were his real reason here. He didn't care very much anymore about himself, and now his mind was fixiated on finding Dezzy. He wanted to say something, but his eyes fixed on the sky.

Kaida sat down next to him, tilting her head up to watch the meteor shower. "I am an Angel, because that is what I am meant to be. I was created to protect people, and not to brag, but I think I do a pretty good job at it. I have all the tools I need to do so, right in one body and soul. And some day, when my time has come, I will fade back into the Lifestream to support the Planet in a different way then I do now," she shrugged, laying back with one arm resting on her stomach and the other next to her face. A smile graced her face as she studied the night sky. "When I was a little girl, before I was aware of my powers and what my mission was, I used to sneak out of the temple at night to watch the stars. I remember, one night, a shooting star came by and all I could think of was how I wish I was that shooting star, flying past the other stars. I would dream that I would say high to the others and that we would laugh and play in the sky, twinkling down upon the Planet."
She chuckled, shaking her head at her own childish admission. "One night one of those stars came down to me, only it wasn't a star, but another Angel. She was one of my sisters, one of the other two Water Angels. She told me why the Priestesses had cut off my wings, why I had special powers and why I was kept locked in the temple at all times. I was 7 at the time... I fought against the priestesses for ten years, finally I exposed them and was made Head Priestess of the Temple... I'm also a Warrior Priestess. I was given permission to travel to protect people. All Warrior Priestesses must go on a pilgrimage to protect the innocent. Normally it isn't a very long one... Mine has lasted 10 years, and will not end until the death of this body," she said, sighing softly, focusing on the last few meteors that were falling. "They're so lovely, aren't they? The meteors and the stars, I mean..."

Alex was lost in thought as she finished. He kept thinking of life before Karri had turned evil. It was a great time for him and her. But, when he turned 18, she turned evil, as he turned Holy. His powers grew quickly, as did hers. Then, their first encounter took place. His family was killed, all because of her. He clenched his fists. He felt so much rage and hatred now, he had to expel it.
And so, he stood up. Looking down at Kaida, he said, "I'll be right back." His voice was course and filled with anguish. He walked off towards the center of the city, but stopped halfway between where Kaida and he were laying, and the city's center. Letting out a yell of rage, he blasted a gigantic Light Beam up into the sky, which impacted a meteorite, and blew it into tiny shards, which looked like star dust that fluttered down to the Earth.
He looked down to his hands. Did I really just cast Holy Blast? He wondered. That's an extremey powerful spell that I wouldn't have been to use until I was 4000 years old! He thought of Kaida, and he looked back. Is it because another Angel is here? He began walking back towards where Kaida was. He jumped up unto the top of the stairs, and lay back down, looking up as the tiny fragments of the meteorite fell around them.

Kaida watched him walk away with a look of concern on her face. He seemed so unhappy, and she wished there was something she could do to change that. She sat up, watching his let off his powerful blast of light, her eyes wide. The hairs on her arms stood up on end, and she could feel the power crackling through the air as the aftermath. She rubbed the goosebumps on her arms, shrugging her shoulders to ease the tension in her back. Her powers were nothing like that; her Holy powers were limited to healing and her water powers were simple at the most. She could cause a flood if she wanted to, and throw spears made of water at her enemies. She sighed softly, laying back down as he began walking toward her, though she thought nothing of it when he didn't lay back down on the ground. She sneezed, wiping a little bit of meteorite off of her face.
(He's mysterious... Will I learn more about him while traveling or will he be just another enigma in my life?) she thought to herself, thinking of the former Dezzy and how close they had become, even though she had originally thought the girl confusing.

Alex sighed as he stared at the sky. Why was I chosen? He wondered to himself. Shaking the thought, he sat up, and jumped down from the top of the stairwell. "Well, I'm all set. My anger's gone, for sure. So, how would you perfer to go? You wanna walk, teleport, or fly? I'm perfectly content in doing whatever you want." With that, he waited, but the question had finally reached him. "And, would you mind if I only called you Kai?" He sat back down next to her. A smile reformed on his face, thinking of meeting up with his student soon.
((OOC: Yeah, a little short compaired to my last one, but I'll make up the length when we get to Junon, in the middle of winter!))

Kaida smiled and nodded. "Yes, that's fine. Most people call me Kai-chan that I meet," she replied, standing up and dusting off her priestess robes. "It would be a long walk from here, wouldn't it? Teleporting makes me very nervous... I guess that leaves flying... I have flown since I was a little girl, when I still had my wings..."
((OOC: Yeah, I have a headache right now, so my posting abilities are low. Sounds good))

Alex's smile grew wider. He sprouted his wings, large enough for her to hang on. "God, I haven't flown for fun in WEEKS!!!" He stretched his wings, for these were his "flying wings," meant only to be used as a method of transportation. But, he tends to have fun. "Whenever you're ready," He held out his hand. "Grab my hand, and off we go!" The anticipation of flying across the entire world was something that could actually kill him, figuratively.
((OOC: Alright, if you've got a headache, I can wait for a reply. ^_^ I don't want people to do something they don't have to or when they're feeling bad in any way.))

Kaida grinned at him, setting her hand in his without hesitation. She was sure she could trust him, and flying had always been her favorite thing to do when she was a child before she had lost her wings. "I'm ready," a twinge of excitement laced her voice, breaking through her normal calm demeanor.
((OOC: ^_^ I managed anyways! I'm just so excited to move on -bounces up and down-))
