I'm tired, my feet ache and I have absolutely no idea where I am, yep I'm lost, and it sucks beyond belief I'm telling you. I haven't slept in like a week, and I haven't really eaten properly either, so I'm hungry, put all of this together and I'm slightly grumpy, and frustrated with my-self, oh and I lost my hair tie, so my ankle-lengh hair is getting in my way. Mind you, it is very beautiful here, the trees, seem to make me forget about my worries, my troubles and pretty much everything, it's peaceful. A lake, I like lakes, for some reason I always have, don't know why...and what is that thing behind it, looks like a giant cocoon or something. Ooh I know, this is the forgotten city, my father told me about this before...yeah before that, if only Lou was here to see this, she'd love it. I sighed gently and walked forward before flopping down on the floor and staring at the beautiful lake in-front of me.

Alex spun rapidly in the air before splashing noisily into the water of the Mana Springs Lake. He had been so tired from being put under the pressure of fighting for the protection of this world or his world. He just needed time to relax and regain some Magic. Rising above the water, he looked around. His clothes were still on, for this was the best way for him to regain some extra magic. There was a girl laying on the ground not that far from him, but he thought to leave her alone. She probably was just as tired as he was for some reason or another. He left the water, found a place to lay down, and began to silently rest.

What is that? I thought, I sensed something nearby but I thought nothing of it until I heard a splash in the near-by lake. I gasped slightly and sat up, "what the hell?" I said in a normal pitch of voice, the volume was even too. I looked around until I spotted some-one laying down, Damn me and my delayed reactions. My hair pooled around me as I got up, I didn't know what to do, was he hurt? well only one way to find out? I walked over to him my pace even and my steps light as I plodded along the ground, still admiring the glowing trees. "Hey you, you OK? you're not like dead or anything are ya?" I said as I neared him, hoping to envoke a reaction of some sort.

Alex kept his eyes closed. He could hear the girl, but he didn't think that she thought he couldn't hear her. He didn't bother opening his eyes. "I'm fine." Alex said, putting his hands behind his head. "I'm just relaxing. No problem here." He was still a little wet from the dive he took, so he jumped up. "Don't mind me." He stated, jumping high into the air, spun rapidly, and all the water came off of him. Some of the magic water stayed on his clothes and were absorbed.
He landed with a light thud, exactly where he jumped from. He looked to the girl, and shrugged. "I'm just here to relax. What're you here for? Scenery?" It was very rude of him to ask such a question, but he was wondering. It's not often that other people come to the Forgotten City. The only time he had ever seen another person here was when he first met Kaida. But, that was a while ago.

Damani sighed as she entered the city. She had been following Alex for a while now, though she had separated from Kaida a ways back. The other girl said there was something else she wanted to check out after telling her where their friend was headed. She spotted Alex laying in the middle of the lay and she sat down where she stood. She had basically run the whole way to the ancient city, and without the computer in her head she needed more rest than before. At least she knew her mentor was okay. (Does he ever wait for anybody?) she thought to herself.

He startled me as he jumped up, but this time my stupid delayed reactions did not come into play, I flinched away almost immediately, my fringe falling over my eyes. "How rude," I said with a slight smile on my face, I hoped to sound like i was joking, but i never joked so I probably didn't that's what the smile was for, to back up my joking mood. "Well, yeah anyway, just stumbled across this place on my travels, and I like it, it's peaceful, well it was until some guy randomly fell out of the sky," I smiled "Well, my name's Elsie Myre, how about you what's your name?" I asked holding a hand out for him to shake with a wide grin on my face. Wow a grin, was I seriously doing this or was it some kind of derranged dream, since when did I smile let alone grin?! This place really does have some kind of weird and random effect on me, I'm telling you it's not natural. I sensed some-one else nearby and I looked around to see a girl sitting down "You know her?" I asked turning back round to the guy and pointing a thum at the girl.

Alex gladly shook her hand. "Nice to meet you." He said, firmly. "I'm Alex, and this is Dezzy." He suddenly thought of it. Myre!?! Alexia!?! He had to ask. "Are you in any relation with Alexia Myre? She's a friend of mine, and I've known her for quite some time now. If you two are related, how is she? I haven't seen her in so long." He pulled his hand back, and looked to Dezzy.
"Listen, Dezzy, I'm not sure when we'll be able to start your training, but we can if you want in a little bit." He stated, reassuringly.

Dezzy stifled a yawn. "If you want," she said, closing her eyes for a few minutes of rest. She didn't know what they were talking about and at the moment couldn't bring herself to care. Training would be nice, but not until she got a couple minutes to recoup her energy.
((Sorry it's short. I'm still sick))

A person who knew my cousin, he could be helpful. "Yeah I know her, well I've never met her, but she's my cousin, my only known living relative, I've been looking for her, but I can't seem to find her, where was it that you last saw her?" I asked I was so desperate to find her, probably the only person who would really ever truely understand me, un-less I found a soul mate, and going by my personality that would be highly unlikely. "Hey over there, I'm Elsie," I called to the other person, with a welcoming smile on my face, better to be nice, than to be my usual grumpy self and get the shit kicked out of me, especialy when there were two of them. So, my ocasional nice streak is rearing it's pretty little head today, good!

Alex's smile faded. He looked down. "I'm sorry. I don't know where she is." He said, regretfully. "Maybe I can find her using my ability to find people due to their aura." He suggested this, but he would have to get within a ten mile radius. He looked around. This place was different from where he had met Kaida. Maybe even a different part of the city. The lake wasn't that big. Why call it a lake if it looks more like a pond? This place was so quiet to him. It wasn't at all like the other places he'd been. He'd been to almost every city on this planet by this time. He looked back to Elsie.
"Last I remember seeing Alexia, we were exploring the Upper Plate of Junon. But, she wasn't there. Dezzy and I just came from there. I'm sorry."

Dezzy nodded at the girl, standing up and stretching for a moment before sitting back down. "Dezzy Fay, girl who's mentor always leaves her behind extraordinare," she said, throwing a joking glare at Alex. It was good for her to build up stamina.

"Naaa, that's Ok, I like to do things my-self, I'm weird like that," I said scratching the back of my head and smiling. "Do you know what causes the trees to glow like that? I've been racking my brains for a answer but I just can't seem to come up with one!" I said still smiling. "Is Dezzy, like your nickname or is it your full name?" I questioned curious, I had never heard of anyone with the name Dezzy before.
OOC so sorry it's short, I have just woken up and I have no muse...

Alex gave a joking glance back to Dezzy. "Thanks." He said, before turning back to Elsie. He didn't actually know what the reason that the trees were constantly glowing, but he was about to find out for himself. He walked over to a tree, placed his hand on it, and closed his eyes. He began searching through the veins and roots of the tree, but nothing yet showed up. Then, he found something by the base. He tried to get closer to it in his mind, but it shot him back to his body instantly, which sent him backwards and falling onto the ground. "Ow!" He yelled, as he hit the ground. He stood back up and brushed himself off.

"Dezzy is short for Destiny, my middle name," Dezzy amended quickly; she was trying to let as few people in on her secret of not being fully human. It was too long and complicated of a story, and besides, she didn't want people thinking she was a freak of some sort. "Damani Destiny Fayth. A lot of people have always called me Dezzy Fay for short though."
She shrugged and watched Alex approach a tree. After it knocked him down she chuckled. "Well, I guess we know that whatever it is it has some power to it," she commented. The trees were lovely in her point of view. For all she knew spirits were lighting up the trees, though she would never be able to find out herself.

I laughed as I saw him fall back-wards, "Obviously the trees don't want you to know there secrets," I said still laughing slightly, I would have to look into that about the trees, see if anybody knew. I then looked over to Dezzy as she started talking, and nodded as she finished before making myself comfortable by sitting on the floor. "So, you two know each other prety well, I'm taking it?" I questioned from my point of view they seemed to be quite close, not like they had just met or something. I leaned on my hands and looked up to the sky whilst I waited for an answer.
