Alexia trudged into the forgotten capital, her leg hurt a little now, they had done alot of walking to get from place to place. She sighed gently and walked over to one of the many glowing trees before sliding down it, to sit on the hollow ground beneath her. "Did you know about the trees, how they glow? it's one thing to be told but another to see it for yourself," she said to her traveling companion before fishing the already half-used needle out of her pocket. She rolled her leeve up and injected the clear liquid into her arm, the sensation throughout her body was amazing, she could feel it traveling down until it met the pain in her leg, she sighed happily and gazed at the small pond near-by.

Zade sat down next to Alexia and stated, "No, I don't know how the trees glow. But.... it's amazing." He then stood up and touched one. "They are like... giant fireflies. It's amazing ya know. Each area has its perks..... simply amazing." He went back over to sit next to the injured female. "If you look hard enough.... the trees seem to be lighted yes... but with emotion. The younger, sleeker ones glow brightly, and proud. The older ones, not so much. But the older ones twist and turn. Like a work of art. It's all so amazing."

"It is truely amazing, I have searched for the answer as to why they glow, but I haven't found it, one can only assume it has something to do with the Ancients," Alexia said leaning her head back into the tree. "The water is cool too," she said with a slight smile gazing at the never-ending sea of trees a-head of her.
OOC sorry it's sort, and the water heals doesn't it?

"Speaking of the water..." He stood up, and helped Alexia to stand up with him. He carried her over to the water, and unwrapped her bandages. "This works, trust me." He dipped her legsin the water, soothing them to an extreme pleasure. He then took off his jacket, and jumped in the water. "The water heals your wounds. Completely. Another amazing thing about this place."

"How did you know that, I'd heard it but, never tested it out," she said shuddering slightly as she felt the water literally suck the wound away. She closed her eyes slightly, smiling until the feeling wet away "Now waht am I gonna do with all that amazing pain-killing stuff I 'borrowed' from the hospital," she said doing air-quotes as she said borrowed and smirked slightly. She loved the forgotten capital, it was peaceful, you could think about everything here and never be disturbed, for it was exactly over-filled with people. She smilied slightly and played wth the water, watching the ripples as she moved her fingers around gently.

"As a SOLDIER, they make you learn about these things. And the pain-killer.....I'd keep it because we have to leave sometime. And when we do we can't take the water with us." He said. Zade gentle moved the water over his bare back. "Ahhh....." It feels like heaven. The burns went away in no time, and then stood up." We should explore more. Later. For now, let's rest in the water." And so he closed his eyes and said, "This is turning out to be a great adventure so far Alexia."

"Not much has gone on really, Did you travel much with SOLDIER? I went all over the place," She said still playing with the water underneath her fingers. She removed the katanas from her back and layed them gently on the floor just behind her. Then she removed her long blue trench cout and wrapped it up into a ball before placing it on the floor and laying her head on it. she then put her hands behind her head and gazed up at the stars, it was a lovely clear night.

"I didn't really go anywhere with SOLDIER." Zade said solemnly. "They just seared a bunch of information into our memories.We know almost everything there is to know about the world, I just wanted to see it for myself." Zade had his eyes closed now, trying to get situated in the cool water. "They just taught it too us because they had no idea where we were going to be deployed. Lucky me. I smelly Edge." Zade chuckled slightly at his comment.

"I was with them during the Wutai war, so I went there for a while, but to me it was a little scary, you were never safe, there always had to be some-one on watch. But, I always hated being suck in Midgar watching the slums, it really sucked it was so stuffy down there, I don;t understand how people could live there," she said still gazing up at the stars twinkling away like diamonds. "So, what was this thing you wanted to come here for?" she questioned not taking her eyes from the black sky.

"I just wanted to know. Know what it was like. To be an adventurer. I wanted to see the trees....glow....I wanted to feel the river....heal....I wanted....tofeel myself....live." Zade was really smiling now. He was actually living the dream. This is what he wanted. The whole world was his back yard. The whole thing. He vowed not to leave one rock overturned, and not one shortcut explored. And he intended to do just that.

Alexia heard something, she had an amazing sense of hearing, she could pick up the tiniest things, even in a crowded place. She jumped up quickly and scanned the area around her grabbing her katanas and holding them out infront of her. "You are very terrible at concealing yourself try not to make a noise in future,now show yourself, or I will find you," she called, just loud enough so anyone nearby could hear her. She shivered slightly, without her beloved blue trench coat, she was kinda cold.

Zade could see her shivering, for he, has extra-sensitive sight. He got out of the water, and went over to pick up her jacket. He then walked over to her, and said, "Please put your jacket on. Your cold. And I'm sure whoever it is, is just some bum with a knife who followed us here, and thinks he can take all of our gil." He had a slight smile on his face but knew she was rather tense. he wanted her to calm down, but knew that probably wasn't an option unless she didn't hear a sound for like, an hour straight.
Not only did he want her to calm down, but he wanted to keep the serenity of the forest intact. He hated when things that are peaceful go wrong. He justed wanted to sit, and watch the trees glow. Let his wounds prosper in the Lake of Healing. But, when conflict arises, apparently, Alexia in is the middle of the fray. Note taken.
He tried to look through the darkness, but could see no one. He thought mayve Alexia was a bit paranoid. He decided to keep it a thought though, he liked having Alexia as a friend, and wanted to keep her as such. He felt at peace with her. Like everything he said, Alexia listened. Everything she said he listened. It was like they've known each other for years.

((OOC: I'm sorry Zade, but by surviving that building I've blown up I've got to mark you for death. I wont of course kill you unless you give me permission, but prepared to be living in the fear of constant attack.))
His left hand was extended and his fingers spred apart. The darkness of the shadow that he loomed in concealing him from the two and their "healing." There was no more time to let them sit around and survive knowing that something had happened in Edge, besides there was a chance one of them had noticed Eaon as the assassin who'd bombed the building and if that was the case then they would both have to die. Nothing made people vanish like the roar of artillery and the deepening blast of bombs. This was the reason for blood, and this was the reason for pain, and now it was the ultimate reason to end all of everything for those who where in the area.
Eaon's left hand began to glow softly as the Fire Materia in it began to activate. In an instant a bright orangish-red blast fired from his hand towards the two on the ground by the water. If he killed both of them it would be best, however only Zade was required, only his blood was guarnteed to need to be spilt Eaon began to move after the blast only hearing the explosion not actually sitting around to see it. His coat had Haste Materia in it, and this was allowing him to move twice his already deadly fast speed. It was the thrill of the hunt, and it was on, and the fact it was on made everything more and more exciting.

Copy 22 laughed silently to himself as he watched the battle commence far below him, they had no idea he had taken to the air above them and now watched from the concealment of a large tree, cloaked in the barrier that acted like a shield of invisibility, he was secure in the belief that they could not detect him... the assassins spell had given him the opportunity he had needed to attain a more advantagious perspective on the 3 without being noticed...
