Estel couldn't help but stare at the Masamune in front of him. I've never seen such forging He absent mindedly placed his hand on Yami-Ashi-Ato, wondering if she had forged this also. It was then he was brought back to attention by her leaving. "And where do ya think you're going?" He called, catching up to her. "You may be strong, stronger than most i've met. But do you really think I'm gonna just let you track down Sephiroth on your own? I wouldn't be able to live with myself." He chuckles lightly, and smiles. "I'm coming, I don't care how much you protest you can take care of yourself, nor how much this doesn't involve me, I'm not one to let a pretty girl go off fighting the bad guys alone, no matter how skilled she may be."

Momo gave a slight glare, but then she sighed. "You remind me of someone I met once..." She shook her head. "Well, I bet you just want the chance to get that extra special something I promised," she deduced with a sly grin, holding her hand to her chin. "I didn't know you were such a smooth operator, Estel..."

Estel grins, and gives an expression of mock pain. "Please, not all men are pig's." He returns Momo's sly grin, raising his eyebrow. "I bet, you're just regretting walking away last time and now you're trying to make up for it, making it seem like my idea." He chuckles. "Now THAT'S smooth."

OOC: Emote? I thought this was Estel lol
Momo swept her hand over her shoulder, brushing through some of her hair while giving a simply indignant expression. "I didn't regret it one bit. I'm playful and teasing, but when it comes to something like that, I don't regret not doing it at all." She turned her back to Estel. "I don't want to be betraying a betrothed that I can't remember." She headed for the cave entrance at a slow pace.

OOC: I've no idea what you're talking about ^_^
Estel looked slightly shocked. betrothed? Thank god nothing happened then. he thought to himself. Outwardly he just shrugged and followed Momo, "That's quite understandable, though don't get annoyed at me, I was completely ignorant." They reached the cave entrace and Estel glances around at the mountains around him. "Well then m'dear, where are we going?"

Momo placed her free hand on her hip, giving Estel a bit of a leer. "'M'dear', huh? And who said you were coming with me anyways?" she asked. "I never agreed to let you come with me. I have plenty of ways I can leave you eating my dust."

Estel gave Momo a small smirk. "I told you, I'm coming regardless of your complaints. Aaaaand, I suggest not making the mistake of under estimating me." He raised an eyebrow at Momo, giving the smallest hint of daring her to try something. "Anyway, two people are much better than one, at tracking, fighting, and pretty much anything we would need to do."

Momo scoffed. "I'm not looking for Sephiroth just yet. It's not like he's dead or anything. That means I have to find out where the rest of my power went to." She looked at her body. "My guess is that's why I'm so under-developed at the moment: Some good portion of my regular power is gone and stunted my growth. My first goal is to find that power and regain it. Then I'll look for Sephiroth." She gave a half-leer to Estel. "You'd just get in the way, not to mention it's a personal journey." She stepped out of the cave and walked along the edge of the lake.

"Lost power?" Estel asked curiously, "This wouldn't have anything to do with that split personality thing of yours would it?"

Momo leered fully now. "What the hell are you talking about? I don't have any personalities but my own." She shook her head. "If you came up with that out of the blue, what makes you think you can help me in any way?" she asked, waving her hand in the air dismissively.

"So you're telling me that it was perfectly natural for you to wake up in my lap, in this cave? With no recollection how it happened?" Estel asked, looking at Momo curiously. "I on the other hand had a little discussion with you before you seemed to be you again. You didn't know who I was, or who you were. You didn't seen to know anything. And you're telling me you don't have split personality? Maybe you don't know about it, maybe you just have blackouts and wake up in random places and accept it, but if you haven't once questioned it before now, well I would certainly be suprised."

"I do not have multiple personalities," Momo replied dryly. "It was a side effect of what I did in that battle. Nothing more and nothing else. I remember quite clearly that little 'discussion' you mentioned. I was just so weak and out of it that I couldn't even grasp that I was awake. My memory was fuzzy for a moment and then it all came back when my body got more functional." She stopped in her tracks and looked back at Estel. "Do you really want to follow me everywhere like a lost puppy? If you won't leave me alone, then do me a favor: do not argue against anything I say. Accept it as fact and don't comment. That's one condition."

Estel couldn't help but start laughing, although it wasn't a normal, happy laugh, more cold and empty. "You know, I've met some characters in my time, but you're something different. Do you really think you have the right to tell me that what you say is fact? Or to tell me where I can or can't go? Look if you don't want me following you that badly, if you're quite happy to wander the world on your own, alone and pushing everyone away. That's fine, but just tell me that, don't try your reverse psychology stuff. A little honesty never hurt anyone."

Momo crossed her arms, her eyes serious and filled with deep anger. There had always been a slight playfulness, even in her voice and words earlier. Now there wasn't a single trace of kindness or what Estel had seen before. "First you question me having fought Sephiroth, then you question my abilities, and now you start diagnosing me when you know nothing about me or what you're trying to stigmatize me with! If you want death that badly, just jump in this lake here and take a deep breath when you hit the bottom. It'll hurt a lot less than if you keep pissing me off and I stop caring to let you live. You don't mean anything to me, little boy." The power bearing down around her was intense, her hair looking as if it were lifting up in a wind. The golden eyes were almost glowing. She turned her back to Estel and started walking again.
"I already told you not to follow me anyways, that this is a journey I must take alone. I've been traveling alone for ten years now, looking for my home and my memory. I do not need a child to weigh me down." She suddenly leapt through the air, gliding swiftly along the wind. "You would do best to forget you ever met me. Next we meet, I will not show any goodwill!" Her form descended the hill near the waterfall and disappeared.

Estel sighed as he watched Momo dissapear, he'd met many people like her in SOLDIER, all of them doing their best to intimidate for lack of actual strength, and believing that problems were best solved on their own. "Then next time we meet, prepare for a rude awakening." He said to no one in particular before leaping backwards on top of the mountain range and heading back towards edge.
