She staggered, dragging the heavy weapon bag and Monohoshizao along the ground weakly. Her clothes were soaking wet and her eyes staring half-lidded at the path ahead. Stepping into the open cave, the girl fell over, her hands finally letting go. She fell without any reaction to the pain and remained staring away. "Where...?" She remembered seeing an evil white-haired man, but that was all she could manage before the memory of being plunged into water. "... Who?" She remained on the ground, looking rather beaten up and weak. Her head ached massively and her entire body was cold, close to being numb. "Someone... Anyone..." she whispered. It was all she could muster vocally. Her body was so drained of energy, even the trudging into the cave was more than her body could handle. She tried to keep her eyes open, but she was starting to fall asleep. Sleep wanted to take her, but for some reason she didn't want to sleep. She kept struggling to stay awake, her lips mouthing the same thing in its voicelessness.
'Save me...'

Estel had been hired to deliver an item to Cosmo Canyon. While crossing the mountain's on his way home he'd noticed the girl dragging herself into the cave. Wait a moment... was that Momo? he thought to himself, Either way does it matter, it looks like she's hurt!
Bringing himself out of his stupor, he started down the hill, his training allowing him to run it at full pace with ease. Close to the base he leapt over the pool of water and landed in front of the cave mouth, running in to see Momo on the ground. "MOMO!" He called, rushing to her side and taking her in his arms. He checked her pulse and his eyes widened at her temperature. "You're freezing, but you're alive." He closed his eyes and focused on Momo, the materia in his armor glowing faint green as the Regen poured into her body.

The sleep started to go away, a slight warmth flowing through her body. She turned her eyes towards the person holding her, still with half-lidded eyes. "... Who... are you?" she asked in a whisper.

"It's me, Estel. We met at the 7th heaven in edge remember?" Estel replied softly. He wasn't going to move her until she was strong enough to last the journey, and it would take some time for the Regen to do anything serious, as for now it was only starting to mend. "What on earth happened to you momo?"

"... Momo?" she asked, still seeming dazed. "Is that... My name?" She was bewildered. Her body was still a little cold, but nothing to say she was that muddled by an injury or something physical.

Something isn't right here, low temperature shouldn't affect memory loss like this. Estel thought to himself. He wondered if there was an underlying injury, but couldn't check without seeming like a pervery, for now he would have to trust the regen. "Yes, or at least it's the name you gave me when we met. But still, do you remember what happened to you? Where you've come from or who did this?"

"I..." She looked over towards the giant bag, confused as to why she hefted something so big. Then her eyes came to rest on the sword. Monohoshizao, a sword that spanned 150 centimeters. The white-haired man appeared in her mind again, holding a sword just like it, except younger. Suddenly, it all hit her at once.
Momo shot up. "Sephiroth!!!" she screamed. After letting that out, she held her hand to her head, growling a the pain. "Owwww... Dammit. I knew I was going to overdo it..." She looked around her, her expression more dumbfounded. "What the hell? what am I doing here?" She then realized she was being held by someone and turned her eyes to see who it was. When she found out, she almost jumped. "Estel!! What the... What are you...?" Her eyes formed a glare. "Were you planning something perverted?"

It was the yell of sephiroth that caused Estel to jump. Moments later he realised Momo had seemed to remember where he was. Raising an eyebrow at her question he looked at her sceptically. "You're trying to tell me that, one, you met sephiroth. and two, you don't remember the last five minutes here?" Both events seemed highly unlikely to Estel, he knew Cloud Strife had defeated Sephiroth twice. and that people don't just lose and forget memories unless.... unless they have multiple personality syndrome... it's unlikely but possible, i'll just have to keep an eye out and see what happens

Momo turned her eyes away. "Trust me. I'd recognize a sword I made and the bastard who stole it," she commented, pushing herself out of Estel's arms and getting to her feet. "That bastard was--" Her vision blurred and her body started wavering dangerously.

Estel quickly caught Momo again, steadying her. "Look, let the regen take effect, at the moment your body is having enough trouble." He started wondering what was going on when his mind did a double take. "Wait... You're trying to tell me you created masamune? No offense momo but that aint possible, Sephiroth has been using that sword his entire SOLDIER career, you would have been barely more than an infant at that point."

Momo let herself be supported by Estel, sighing. "I am twenty-eight, you know. I started Forging when I was real young. Monohoshizao is the first sword I kept and Masamune was its brother. Based on Monohoshizao's design and supposed to be a holy sword to protect the innocent, just like Monohoshizao." She glared, growling at the thought of how Sephiroth killed innocent bystanders with the sword. "That bastard took the sword and used it for his evil gains! Not only that, he tossed me aside like I was nobody! Using me, too..." Her head was hurting a little more.

"Right, for now i'll let you believe that." Estel said, making sure Momo wasn't going to fall. "And secondly, not everything Sephiroth done was evil, but we'll talk about this later." He took Momo to the wall of the cave and set her down there, re-casting regen for good measure. "Now why don't you tell me exactly what happened and how you happen to be in a cave in the middle of no where soaked to the bone."

Momo shoved at Estel, growling. "Listen to me, dammit! It's not about belief! It's the only other thing about my past that I can remember now!!" she shouted, getting to her feet and staying up this time. "Since I was a little girl, I could create things out of nothing: Weapons, armor, clothes, you name it! Why else do you think I called myself a Forger? I Forge things that I have framed, built, and embued in my mind using my own mana. That's why I have so few. I can't exactly make so many without there being some drawback." She brought her hand to her head while approaching the Monohoshizao. She picked the sword up and closed her eyes, focusing on the Fullcure materia inside it. "I don't remember anything except that Sephiroth came at me after slicing two townspeople up. I know I fought him, but that's all." When her body was back to normal, she opened her eyes. "It's the real Sephiroth. Monohoshizao was crying at seeing his brother being held by such foul hands."

Estel just stood for a moment, he started to believe it was true. If he could hit 1st class in SOLDIER before twenty, why couldn't someone be born with supernatural forging abilities. He nodded slowly. "Right, Sorry I doubted you. But for the moment you need to regain your strength and then we need to head off somewhere. Obviously you were no match for him. And i've never faced him but don't really want to unless I have to."

Momo scoffed, placing her hand on her hip. "You calling me weak? I don't care what anyone says. I may not have killed him, but just because I wound up here doesn't mean I lost the battle. If I had lost the battle, I would be dead." She crossed her arms and gave a skeptical glare at Estel. "Or did you really think that I could lose to someone as predictable as Sephiroth with the ability I possess?" She lifted her right out and closed her eyes. From her glowing hand formed the long Masamune sword, shining in the cave's natural lighting. She opened her eyes and smirked.
"See? I remember the blade well enough to be able to Forge it exactly. So much so that it disappears because of the contradiction of Masamune having two existences." The sword eventually dissipated into streams of light. "That's why Forging is a two-step process: Tracing an existing weapon or a set design for a weapon with a physical existence and then modifying it in a specific way to allow it to exist as long as the weapon holds up in physical combat. Masamune and Monohoshizao are only slightly different, not just in appearance, but in magical properties, because that's how I had to make Masamune without it disappearing. Yet they're exactly the same in design. So much so that the swords will react when in proximity to each other. It's like being able to sense someone in your family subconsciously when they're nearby." She picked up her bag of weapons and slipped Monohoshizao onto her hip.
"Anyways, my strength is fine right now. My body may have practically shut down but I energize a lot faster than most people. I can walk just fine." She turned to the side, holding her hand to her chin. "At least now I know that Sephiroth has something to do with my past. So, if I want to know more, I have to seek him out." Momo was staring off while thinking. When her attention went back to Estel, she smiled lightly. "Well, sorry for troubling you. I guess you helped me out some. Thanks."
