((OOC: I'm guessing Damani had fallen onto the ground un-concience. Correct me if I'm wrong.))
Alex could feel the powerful light shine from behind him. The sudden burst of light caused him to from into a beast himself, one of the exact Darkness he was fighting. He looked back, adn saw the girl, laying on the ground.
[glow=red,2,300]"Damani!"[/glow] Alex yelled, in a sinister voice. His rage exploded, and Darkness fell around everything. Alex was purely invisable to the monster, who was now White. Damani still lay on the ground, or the suggestive ground, but the beast couldn't find the one whom it was attacking.
The beast fell to the ground swiftly; Alex had come up from behind and slashed at it vengefully. The beast saw his counterpart for what he truely was in the Dark.
Alex's once yellow eyes had turned red with rage. The clothes he bore turned into nothing more than Dark robes that looked like a demonic fire as it rippled in the wind. His black hair no longer had a sheen to it, so the light wouldn't reflect off of it, and the sword he carried was now darker than the night.
"It's interesting to use these powers for the first time." Alex said, in a devilish tone. [glow=red,2,300]"It seems that whatever magic Damani had just cast created a negative-blastwave that got rid of your powers, and gave them to me. Luckily, now that I've achieved the Dark form, I can now fully become the Angel of Death. So, I'd like to thank you..."[/glow]
As quick as the entity came out of Alex, the entity was slayed. [glow=red,2,300]"I'd like to kill you and fully gain your powers."[/glow]
Very soon after it was killed, Alex reverted back to normal. As did the rest of the world around them. He was feeling quite positive about himself, when he remembered Damani, still on the ground. He quickly ran over to her body, casting multiple healing and revive spells on her. "Damani, wake up!" He continuously shouted. "You've gotta wake up!"
((OOC: Thanks for using that magic! It had given me a good idea. I'm done with whatever I wanted to do, which was give Alex the Darkness ability, so now I guess it's a free RP from here on out!))

((OOC: This is a conversation going on in her mind.))
Damani could hear a voice calling to her, but it seemed so far away. She looked around in the darkness, not quite frightened yet not sure of herself. "Where am I?" she asked aloud, though the words seemed to reverberate throughout the entire void.
"Your mind, Damani-chan,"[/i] a familiar voice said. It was the same voice from earlier. Damani turned, but there was no one there.
"Where are you?" her voice once again echoed throughout her 'mind'. She could almost feel the vibration. "How did I get here anyways? That magic... What was that?"
There was a soft chuckle. "This is the inside of your mind. You don't regularly see it because the computer blocks your way. The computer was a bit overloaded by the magic you used. It's a bit of Holy, the part that you gained from me. I wasn't exactly human, and... well, lets just say that you gained a few of my traits..." the voice replied. "The computer will reload itself in a couple minutes, then you probably won't hear from me for a little while... I'm always here though, as is the magic. Over time you'll learn how to use it, to control it so it doesn't exhaust you every time."[/i]
Damani could hear a whirring sound and darkness began to fade. "But how? I've never had to use magic before..." before she could ask anymore everything became white and the next thing she knew she was opening her eyes. Healing spells were being cast on her and Alex was calling her name repeatedly.
She swatted at his face impatiently. "I'm awake, I'm awake!!" she said, sitting up and looking around. Everything seemed back to normal, or as normal as things could get around here. She turned and looking at him. "What... What happened? After I passed out, I mean?"

Alex leaped back at the sign of Damani's sudden awakening. He sighed. "Glad to see you're alright." He said. He offered to help her up. He didn't know why, but he knew she was gonna deny it. Still, it was the right thing to do.
"When you passed out, the entire area turned dark except for you, me, and the darkness within me. Which is now true. I now have some control over my darkness. Anyway, when you did pass out, I killed the monster using Darkness. Whatever spell you had cast effected me and the dark monster as a negative transfer of powers. I had been fully darkened, and the beast was a pure white. I was practically invisable in the surrounding darkness. I had no idea how it worked, but I killed it."
He stopped for a second. "What spell was that that you had cast?"

Damani stood up by himself, ignoring his offered hand completely. She looked around. It looked as though nothing had happened at all. "I... I'm not completely sure, yet," she said, clearly unsure, looking at him. "I didn't use it willingly... I normally can't use magic or be anywhere near Materia, it drives my computer haywire for some reason... There was just this... voice in my head and then a bright light that just exploded from my body... The next thing I knew I was waking up."
She turned around, analyzing every bit of jungle she could see for some sort of proof that it had really happened. She was so confused, which was unusual for her. She felt much like she had when she had first woken up a year ago. (They say what goes around comes around... Is this what they mean?) she thought to herself as she leaned against a tree, feeling exhausted for the first time ever. Her body had been built to stand days, even weeks, without ever shutting her eyes for even a minute. She had never really needed to get much 'sleep' though even she couldn't call it that, but for the first time in the year she had been living, she felt ready to drop right there and go to sleep.

Alex could see Damani was tired. "I guess that spell had brought out whatever you had in you, making you weak." Alex guessed. He smirked. "I knew how that felt, until I began to control it. If you want, I could help you train." He looked to her, enthusiastically.
The look faded. "Actually, you should rest a bit first." He turned his back to her, then looked back. "Get some sleep, Damani. I'll be sure nothing will attack you, or if anything does, I'll be dead." He looked foreward. "I'll never be truely dead, so no need to worry." He began transfering from Dark to normal, eventually he began with Dark to Light, instantaniously. The from Dark to Arc-Angel. He continued this until he too felt tired, then continued on.

Damani glared at him. She wasn't weak, she didn't need to be protected by anyone, no matter how tired she might have felt. She was too tired to argue and she slid down the tree to the ground. She let out a light growl and then watched him. Did she really want to know how to how to control this mysterious power? The voice had said that the computer and magic didn't cooperate too well with each other. If she learned to harness the magic that she clearly had inside her, would she end up killing the computer inside her head? She wondered if she should go back to the labs... see in the computer was removable... She didn't think she would be able to willingly use her magic without passing out if she didn't get rid of the computer first. With that thought in mind she struggled to stand back up, pushing away from the tree. "I can't rest... I need to go back... back home... I won't be able to learn how to use my magic otherwise," she told him, trying to go back the way she came. She stumbled, landing on her knees with a 'thud' that caused birds to scatter from the trees. She needed answers, and she needed them as soon as was possible.

Alex had noticed that Damani refused to sleep. He continued training until he finally broke through the limit of the Darkness. He could feel the dark energy flowing within him. His eyes turned black as night, and he unleashed the Devil's Spirit mode. This mode made him more lethel and far more deadly. The benefits of this style were hightened strength, far increased fear factory (possibly enough to make Genesis shudder,) and a deathly silent character within.
The power exploded within him. He could feel the cold touch of rage inside of him. The cold heart that beat inside was becoming colder and colder by each passing second. He had to revert back instantly. He fell to the ground, scarred of the power, the hatred, and himself. His entire body shook with fear and anguish. His eyes wide with fear. Standing back up, controlling his emotions, he looked to Damani.
"We've gotta go." Alex said suddenly, and began running off along the path. The darkness he formed was bringing the evil spirits in the area to him. He had to get out as fast as possible.

Damani looked at him as he suddenly ran by her, her mind alert instantly. She followed him without another word. She was slower than normal, close to a human pace, but her only instinct was to run. She didn't quite understand why she was following this strange man.
((OOC: Sorry, I couldn't think of what else to put... My plan is to have her go back to the lab she was created in, and try to get the computer in her head removed. We'll see where it goes from there!))
