Elena sat in the little wooden shack in the Corel Prison, the door was wide open and the prisoners could see right inside, she had been ordered to stay here and wait, what for she couldn't even begin to comprehend but Elena always did what she was told to do.
Her face was stern and her uniform perfect, her shoe heels were placed firmly on the floor. The room itself was desolate, Elena was sitting in a plain wooden chair by a equally plain table, on the table was a glass filled with water, Elena's chair was facing 90 degrees away from the table and she reached for her glass and drank all the water, "This is stupid, why do I have to be here? Babysitting the prisoners while I'm waiting for GOD knows what."

Being called on such short notice, the red-haired female mechanic, Faye Flannigan, have no idea Corel Prison, the infamous Corel Prison (well, that's what Cid told her...), is this strict and they have called her to fix some security alarms in the place. Well, as long as she earns something, she won't complain.
One problem sets her apart, though...
She's lost around the place.
"Great," The female groaned, slapping her glove-laden hands in her forehead. Just as she was about to lose her cool, she notice a blonde in a business-like suit, prolly a Turk working from ShinRa, as Faye decided to just get it over and ask her something, or at least talk before the warden or whoever run this joint comes to take her to the problem. "Ei there!" She called, walking over towards her in a casual yet cautious manner, thinking about the prisoners around as she mentally noted herself that she should check the location next time.

"You came any closer 'jail bird' and I will get you 5 years longer in this dump," Elena said, not even looking up, she had her left hand to her head, her thumb and finger placed above her eyebrows. Elena had just simply guessed that whoever had come in was a prisoner, "Whatever happened to Turk issue asprin?"

Ok, that was random, and weird in her point of view, as the red-head blinked with her golden orbs before she cleared her throat to speak.
"Uh... 'xcuse me?" Was all Faye said, not understanding what the Turk was talking about. Whatever happened to the 'Great Mechanic' and she just been referred as 'Jail bird'? Well, it could be worse.

Looking up Elena was annoyed, "Listen lady, I'm going to say this once nicely before you limp out of here..." she said raising her voice, noticing that this person wasn't wearing a prison tag Elena calmed down.
Leaning back in her chair she put one hand on her glass, "What do you want? This is Turk buisness."

This female must have some issues, Faye thought as she sligned the bag containing most of her things at her back and gave a small sigh.
"Well, the warden or whoever was running this joint called me and told me the security's in a fitz and needed me to fix it." She said simply as if just talking about her life, nothing much into it. As long as she stays casual, she won't get herself harmed, or so she thought.

Elena looked up, "Excuse me...WHAT?" Standing up straight up of her chair Elena didn't look happy, "I'm sorry but do I look like I WORK HERE?" she said sarcasticly, "What has the security of this god forsakken scrap of land got to do with me?" Sighed heavily Elena slumpped back into her chair.

With a slight sweatdrop, she replied back by pointing upward, referring to the technical security and not the 'personal' one the blonde was referring.
"Woah, take your chill out, didn't mean to offend you 'r anything, honest mistake!" She said in a 'I'm not snappable' tone of her tone. Maybe she won't get out alive after all, well sanitaly she mean.

"Well do what you are PAID to do and get to work," Elena said sternly, pointing to a metal box in the cornor, "make it quick I have important buisness and if you so much as come within 3 feet I will arrest you for disobeying a direct order from the Turks."

"Geez, no need to get cranky on me or anything," The red-head mumbled, walking towards the metal box in which the control for the security is. "You sort off remind me of Cid, you know." She added with a sigh, pulling out a wrench from the bag and began her work.

"Cid Highwind?" Elena said in a disinterested tone, she was under instruction these days to leave AVALANCHE well alone, mainly because they wanted to be on their side which wasn't going so well, "how is the mechanic wanna be?"

"Who, me or him?" Faye said, turning her head towards the blonde once more. Her face was a little dirtier than before after she have started but nevertheless distinctable enough. "If it's Cid you're talking about, he's just working on his airships, the usual cranky, ol' geyzer." She stated in a 'dun look at me, I'm just his apprentice' tone of her voice before resuming her work.

Laughing slightly Elena remembered very painful memories of meeting Cid Highwind, she had been defeated by him whilst trying to defend the president. Something Elena didn't want to happen any time soon, "So who are you? His protogee?"

Oh, if she only wasn't a Turk, she could have pulled out her weapon by now and gave her the whammy, but Cid told her not to mess with them lot in any way; if she did she's shizcabob. With just a grin to pull up with, she nodded, replying with a casual, quirk-like tone of hers.
"Bingo, you got it, hotshot!" Faye said with a cheerful tone. "Faye Flannigan's the name, master mechanic's my game, though I could go as far as helping Cid with his airships, but I've got what's comming." She said the last part with a shrug, her eyes still in the machine she was fixing in which, for her, was baby work.

Keeping a straight face Elena watched Faye work on whatever it was she was working on. Could she be a secret member of AVALANCHE? Knowing Cid he had probably told her all about the Turks and ShinRa, "Lets hope that you chose a better career path than your mentor, the fool he is."
