With a sigh emmited from the female's lips as she entered the arena looking as misty and distant as always, Lyana Alastar looked around and bothered to ask herself inside her mind why in the world she allowed herself into this. Well, this IS a gamble, anyway, so why not accept as it is?

Alastar enters the arena and faces Grunt.

As for your Materia, Added Cut-
When the Materia that is linked with it is used, an additional physical damage is added, but since you have no other Materia to link it with, it's currently useless. Keep it on you just so it can gain points and level up, though.

After facing her opponent, the female gave a nod as she pulled out her default weapon, which is a large, saw-like weapon, Gransaw, and dashed towards the Grunt as she made one, sideward slash at the enemy.

The Grunt was quicker than its opponent, and was able to foresee and dodge the upcoming attack completely, by rolling sideways.

Rising up, the Grunt tried to counter with an attack of its own, yet missed horribly.

The female used her feet to maneuver her movements as she grabbed the hilt of her weapon once more and switched it so that the blade was facing away from the enemy. She focused on the Grunt, taking aim, as she dashed once more to strike an attack to the creature, her red-hooded cape billowing against the current of the wind.

This time the Grunt was too slow, and while trying to dodge the attack, was cut deep by the weapon.

Roaring loudly, the Grunt tried to counter the attack, yet did nothing more than a scratch.

With that attempt from the beast, she managed to re-counter its counter attack, receiving minimal damage but that won't let her guard down, just yet, as she stood at the distance, holding her Gransaw as her other hand grabbed the tip of her saw, apparently flexing it a bit since it, is, made from a very light yet strong titanium adamantite. Looking at the Grunt, she aimed her weapon at the enemy, reared up a bit to gain momentum before she jumped from the ground and releasing her weapon, throwing it in the process, in which spun wildly yet rapidly, heading towards the opponent.

Standing still, the Grunt looked at its enemy, as she leaped high. Aiming its arm towards her, it barely noticed the weapon until it was too late, as it slashed its side.

Still trying to harm its opponent, the Grunt shot at her as she was in mid-air, yet missed again.

When she barely avoided the beam from the Grunt that was heading to her, she landed on the solid ground, right beside the wall in which her weapon was embedded after it was spun like a boomerang and pulled it out from the wall as she didn't sense the monster coming and yet manage to hit him with the edge of her weapon.

Rushing towards its enemy, the Grunt was able to dodge the weapon as it got closer to its target.

Turning in its place, the Grunt was able to hit its opponent using its claw, without much effort.

As foretold, even with the use of her weapon, the monster missed her attack as he did a counter, hitting her at the arms as she jumped from her place to avoid from being seriously hit. She can't let her guard down, but something tells her she have to attack somehow. Apparently, a hint of pain was shown in her face but not in her eyes as it only shows placid and hollowness into it. With a sigh, Alastar striaghten herself up once more as she charge and attacked the enemy using her speed to counter the blows, if any.

The Grunt readied its arm for another attack with the use of its claw, but its opponent was too fast for it, as she hit it with her weapon at full force, sending the Grunt crushing into the opposing wall.

Even though it tried, the Grunt wasn't able to hurt its opponent.

Satisfy with her attack, if ever it was shown in her face, the female spun her weapon once more as she threw it towards the Grunt, this time in a horizontal position as it aimed towards the enemy. They should know by now that in any way, she can use her saw-like weapon to take advantage to attack it at the enemies, whether they are by clusters or as stand alone.

Still dozed off by the previous attack, the Grunt noticed the weapon that was hurling towards it only when it was too late, with no chance of avoiding it.

After a moment of recovering, the Grunt rushed towards its enemy, roaring with rage, as nothing other than revenge is fueling it, as it hit her in full force using its claw.

Hitting her squarely as she skiddled to the ground with a thump, the female woozily stood up with quite a bruise indeed, and yet her face showed nothing but blandness in it. It was a miracle she was still alive and, yet, doesn't show any signs of expression; it might not even show any life in it, as she picked up her weapon and shook her head before Alastar move on to attack the beast. Narrowing her dull maroon orbs, she immediately dissappeared from her place and reappeared seconds later inches from the Grunt as she slammed the dull part of her weapon to the beast with full force. Not quite happy at what it done to her.
