It was a lovely day, nothing could of spoilt the day, well almost nothing. The only thing that could was rain yet the sky was beautifully clear. The 23 year old former Turk was sitting alone on the beach. Her long blackish blue hair was pulled back over her shoulder, allowing it to flow freely about her shoulders, though her hair continued to fall before her shoulders no matter how many times she moved it. Her enchanting cerulean eyes took in the beautiful scene before her eyes. She was sat down with some flowers that in front of her, they'd been left outside her bedroom window with a note attached to it, smiling down at the flowers as her fingers traced the petals below them with a gentle touch. She closed her eyes as she gently pulled the petals off and let them blow away in the wind, smiling as she watched them flutter in the wind as she looked around her hometown, how long had it been since she was last home? Years but how many?
Calamity closed her eyes as she brought her hands to rest in her lap. A sigh left her lips, it felt great to be sitting in the gentle breeze but something was missing. A sigh left her lips, she just wanted someone to talk to with, she longed for the company of another human being. Calamity tucked a strand of hair back behind her ear to keep it from her eyes. She was still dressed in her normal clothes, a black tank top with her white ankle length jacket laid out behind her. Her dark combats stood out against the sand as her left leg was in front of her while her right was drawn up to her chest. Her hands were covered by black fingerless gloves, and her feet by black ballet shoes.
She closed her eyes, she’d been sitting here a while, when she first came to the beach not a single cloud haunted the sky and yet now as her eyes closed a single raindrop hit her cheek, rolling down the pale skin as if it were a tear.
The rain started to fall heavier though nothing too bad, her eyes slowly opened as she looked up at the sky, her lips curved into a smile, one thing she loved was the rain. She didn’t know why but she did and nothing would change that.
Calamity smiled, since coming here the former Turk had not received any mind numbing headaches that came with the memories that returned to her. She laid back against the sand as it continued to rain with her arms folded behind her head and her eyes closed.
So many thoughts were running through her head but none were troubling like her usual thoughts, she actually felt very relaxed. Not something she felt very often, maybe it was the fact that she knew she was home. She didn't know but she loved it, this place made her feel safe so she'd felt this way before in her childhood, maybe her mother loved her after all even if her father didn't, that was enough for her.
