Alexia sauntered into a little bar, She looked around, a couple of people sitting drinking and canvering with each other. The blue trench coat she usually wore was tied firmly around her waist, much too warm to be walking round in a leather coat. She had left her Katanas in he hotel where she was staying and instead she carried a small dagger and a hand-gun in her bag, she was much too cautious when-ever she went some-where, she tended to think the worst of places, people and situations. She sighed gently and sat at a stool by the bar ordering a nice orange juice with a little bit of ice to add a chill. She sipped it slowly savouring it's coolness compared to the warmth of the room she sat in. She really felt like going outside and jumping into the nearest pool she could find, but self restraint was a good thing keeps people looking sane. She looked around waiting for something vaguely interesting to happen.

It wasn't long before another entered, but this person's appearance had caused the room to fall into an awkward silence as the bizarre thing had walked in. It was a young woman, but everything about her stuck out amongst the crowd of people. The first thing anyone would notice, if they had ever been able to draw attention from the peculiar styled of her purple hair, they'd notice she was only wearing a white gown, or what had used to be white, now it had a few blood stains here and there.
Tyrian paused, it was awfully quiet... although she felt like leaving, the woman knew that if she didn't get any moisture into her body, her bones would surely crumble to dust, now that's a scary thought.
Her white arm extended as she began to advance until reaching the counter. How Tyrian wished she could see right now, she had wandered into strangers houses asking if it was a bar or if she could have water, but the hue-mans would either reply with "What the hell are you doing here?!" or "Who the hell are you?!" and the most frequent: "Did you escape from a hospital?l".
Although heartbeats drowned out the entire place, Tyrian could hear one nearby, it's owner had asked for orange juice just a while ago, so this HAD to be a bar...
"What will you have?" asked the bartender
Of course, living with Hojo, he had always used scientific terms, so she responded: "Dihydrogen monoxide". The bartender paused slightly, staring at the customer in confusion. "Is that some sort of a joke?" Tyrian merely stared at her. What did she say wrong? Oh yeah! she forgot to say...
"Please." Tyrian added. The bartender sighed "Alright ma'am..." and went mumbling something incoherent.

Alexia looked around as the place went silent, she looked around at the various people who were staring at the door-way. As she turned around she stole a quick glance at the open door, not particularly noticeable, so as not to seem rude. What she saw wasn't exactly as she expected, it didn't shock her or anything, "People can be so rude," she said hoping to catch people's attention to stop their gawking. She sighed and took another sip of her orange juice before opening her little black hand-bag and taking out her phone. She flipped it up tapped a few buttons then flipped it down again. She looked across to the person who had just came in and spoke quietly "Not to seem rude or anything, but are you OK? you look a little worse for wear," She smiled gently and drank the rest of her orange juice. She pushed the glass toward the bar tender who quickly got her another. She put a few coins on the table and took another sip of her cool, refreshing drink, before looking back to the woman.

The lady’s gaze turned slightly towards the stranger. Did this hue-man actually just ask her if she was alright? Well, that’s a first. A slight smile grew on her face when she replied, a metallic element in her voice “I’ll live, just a little dehydrated…” her order had then arrived and Tyrian slowly dragged her hand across the table until feeling the frosted surface of the glass before wrapping her fingers around the cylindrical shape and slowly savoring the feel of the water.
The materia within her throat was at it's last ounce of power and Tyrian knew she didn't have much longer to live until suffocating. A replacement was needed, but the experiment knew that showing any signs of weakness could be a fatal error as she was surrounded by hue-mans: complete strangers, but some of them may have a water materia in their possession.
"I am in need of a certain materia for my journey, I'm a little lost, you see..." It was best not to start a commotion before trying the peaceful approach to things.

Alexia drank a little more of her orange juice and sighed gently and sighed, why'd it have to be so damn hot? She hated hot weather she preffered to be cold, stupid, why did she come to Costa Del Sol then? "You look like you could be..." Alexia paused to think of the right word "Hurt" She finished. she listened for a second. "And what materia would that be?" She questioned glad to be a ble to socialize if only slightly. "I'm Alexia by the way," She added smiling slightly before gazing at her cup and swaying it from side to side causing the ice-cubes to shuffle around lightly. The people in the bar had all started to chat again, and it sounded as a bar should, not silent as it had been just a few moments ago.

A wave of comfort came over the experiment as the bar returned to normal; Fortunately, the others took no interest in her.
“I’m fine, thanks” her metallic voice warbled slightly, the water materia appeared to be affected by this hot weather. Well, she was slightly hurt from a fight that took place against a while ago “Just a little… conflict in Midgar…” she took a sip from her glass again, she’d have to act as human as possible, this woman was very perceptive, perhaps too perceptive- but in reality, Tyrian was obviously an outsider with pale skin such as hers. “A lot of monsters over there.” and she was one of them.
“And what materia would that be?” the woman said before identifying herself as Alexia. “Pleasure to meet you hue- erm, Alexia. I'm Tyrian” she replied “And I'm trying to find water materia, but I'm somewhat lost.” or anywhere for that fact, this world was so new to her, besides Midgar, she hadn’t been anywhere else.
Tyrian switched her attention to the glass, she could feel that the frost had never left it as her hand was retained the cold. Upon noticing this, she stealthily lifted her hand from the glass to scratch a nonexistent itch on the back of her neck, the frost quickly disappearing. “It’s not urgent, but I’ll need it sooner or later.”

Alexia tilted her head slightly "How did you mangae to get so lost, I mean Costa Del Sol isn't exactly close to Midgar!" Alexia pointed out, with a slight laugh. This Tyrian was a strange one, but she seemed pleasant enough. She drank a little more of her orange juice and breathed out a heavy sigh. "You may not care but, I hate hot weather," she complained bringing her glass to her face and resting it on her cheek, savouring the cool feeling. "About your Materia, I don't know if this would help at all, but maybe there is a materia store around here somewhere, I haven't really looked but it's a possibility," she said with a smile.

“Despite Midgar being in ruins, you’d be surprised by what you can find there. I had made a raft, just to make it here, finding food is very difficult though.” of course, by being blind, this wouldn’t have been possible. Tyrian had actually swam all the way to Costa Del Sol. It was nothing short of being difficult to accomplish. Bottom feeders, even carnivorous beasts would constantly mistake her for being a corpse! -Well, she was in a way.
It was fortunate that Alexia hadn’t noticed the experiment's disability, so she could get away with almost any lie -in fact, she probably wouldn’t believe Tyrian if she had told the truth, but then Alexia commented on how she too dislike the weather. Interesting, humans usually enjoy hot weather.
Although Tyrian had received the possible information she needed. the deceitful creature couldn’t stay for too much longer, but this was one of the first positive human interactions she ever had. The summon half of her mind wanted to leave, while the other half wanted to stay.
“Thanks for the info. As for the weather, I think I’d prefer fighting the monsters back in Midgar. You must be a foreigner as well if you dislike the weather. Where are you from?” she asked, curious on knowing more of Gaia’s geology, this woman obviously knew more about the planet.

"I can imagine there's no trees or anything ober there, well there might be now, haven't been there in like half a year, and i think I would enjoy fighting monsters more than staying here but I needed a break, and you can relax here" She said with a slight laugh. She gazed down at her almost empty cup and sipped the rest in a mouthful, yet again she pushed the glass toward the person behind the bar, and yet again they oblidged taking her money and refilling the glass. She could live on orange juice, it tasted so good. "I'm not from around here, I was born in Midgar, my childhood was spent in different places, usually under the plate," she said "And you where-abouts are you from?" She said looking over to Tyrian with a smile on her face.

“I also came from Midgar, lived there my whole life.” That was about as much as Tyrian could tell her, not many would tolerate ShinRa experiments, especially ones that normally killed humans like she did.
“I… grew up in the slums as well.” She lied “It’s a real mess over there, hardly any life worth seeing, plant OR animal!” her speech began to frazzle slightly as a cough broke out; this wasn’t going to end well..
The air within her lungs had begun to go dry and she bolted coughed once more, shielding the cough with a forearm. “I-I’m sorry, I’ll be right back… “ Tyrian turned, slightly flustered by her situation, then called out to the bartender. “Hey! Got a washroom around here?”
“Yeah, for PAYING customers only!”
A vein of anger surged through the experiment, Tyrian needed water, NOW. A washroom would have a sink and where there was a sink there was water, unlimited water that would come immediately, no small glass would do.
“Yeah, sure. Tell me now, or you’ll need more than my payment to fix the aftermath if you don’t tell me now.”
The woman stared at the customer, not exactly sure how to react to what she had just said. Did this woman REALLY have to go THAT bad?
“Around the back…” the bartender finally replied Damn! Why did this place have to be so huge?! Tyrian began making her way to the back, casually sliding her hand across the counter top to reach a hall where she turned to run down.

"The slums too? where abouts?" Alexia questioned curiuosly, "it was a real mess, but there was this church that had flowers in, I visited there a couple of times when I was like 10" she said with a slight smile, her best friend had taken her there, she had seen flowers for the very first time that day when she was 11. Alexia then watched as Tyrian appeared to be choking, a slightly starlted look crossed her features as she got up and questoioned the bartender. "it's ok," she said in reply to her. She kept her eyes fixed on Tyrian as she ran down the corridor that led to the bathroom, "Woah, that was....." she thought of the right word to end her sentance "random" she finished her features returning to there normal look as she took a sip of her drink.

Cal walked through the town, examining his surroundings and pondering the previous events that had led him to the western continent. 'DeepGround', he thought to himself, 'those bastards were only using me to attempt to steal my genetics. And that red-headed man....'
But in spite of all that had happened, he'd come out alive, hadn't he? He escaped the deepground HQ, and left right under their noses. As a matter of fact, if he did happen to get another job from them again, he'd probably act as a double agent for another organization, pump both groups for as much of a good fight as he could, and take off again. But upon hearing of the possibility of more work on the western continent, Cal left for Costa Del Sol to find out wherever the conflict may be.
He decided to go and cool off in the bar, and soothe his troubled mind. Thinking about what he should have to drink, Cal's attention was drawn to a beautiful blond-haired woman with a blue coat tied around her waist. She looked familiar to him but he couldn't understand why, and he decided to see if she was as interesting as she was gorgeous. After buying a couple of shots from the bartender, Cal nonchalantly walked over to where the mysterious warrior woman sat, and began to speak: "Y'know, i just walked in here expecting it to be a boring and stale place for the resident beach-bum community, but you strike me as someone definitely not from around here. Tell me your name, warrior, and let us have a drink together."

Alexia was so startled by his sudden appearance that she nearly fell off of her stool, very nearly! She looked to her side to see a guy, she felt a feeling of de ja vu, she really had to stop meeting random people in bars. She smiled slightly as he spoke to her and the answered: "No I'm not from around here, I'm Alexia and you might be?" she said happily, she liked it when people were nice to her, it was flattering and she didn't really get it too often. "I haven't seen you here, and I've been here a couple of days, would I be right in guessing you're not from around her either?" she questioned tucking a stray strand of hair away from her eyes securely behind her ear. She quickly finished the rest of her orange juice and crossed her legs feminanly sitting slightly to the side, she looked out of the window and gazed at the vast expanse of sand, hot sand and wondered why so many people came here, it was boring. She didn;t ever bother with sinbathing as she already had a natural golden colour to her skin, and she burned pretty easily. She looked back at the newest edition to the previously boring bar and waited for him to speak.

Cal smiled, and took a seat. So few people were keen on talking to him, with his scars across his face. And the fact that he had a bad habit of carrying his weapon around with him usually caused most people to give him dirty looks. But Alexia was nice, and he ordered a beer before he introduced himself properly. "I am Cal Reiden, a mercenary from the small town of Gongaga. I've travelled quite a bit of the world, but unfortunately my journey has brought me to a town of dim-witted beach bums." He paused and looked around, noticing that the other customers in the bar were becoming a little less keen on having a weapon-brandishing vagabond in their surf town. As if they were keen on him to begin with. "Isn't that right, you bunch of sea dogs!" he said with a hearty laugh, taking a swig of the freshly placed mug before him. Apparently he got such a rise out of one of the customers they threw a shoe at him, barely missing him by an inch. Ignoring it, he continued. "Boy, that never gets old. Anyway, I've basically come her looking for work, to lend my talents as a warrior to the highest bidder, but because of recent events, I'm beginning to wonder if living as a mercenary is really what I want to do. Living by the sword, being a warrior, I can't really stop because it's in my blood. I really want something I can fight for, something worth saving, but this world..." He stopped, getting a distant look in his eye, as if he remembered something that would make most men break down and begin to cry, yet instead the good-spirited mercenary changed the subject. Or rathe, asked a question: "What do you fight for, Alexia? For a restless man like me must find a reason worth fighting for."

Alexia ordered yet another drink, man she was drinking alot, she decided to blame it on the insufferable heat. After she left here she would have to go someplace cool, away form the boring beaches annoying children and the heat. When her orange juice arrived she took a sip and rested it down on the bar, a ring of water forming around the bottom of the tall thin glass. She laughed as he laughed, She found the people here just as insufferable as the weather, annying thick and all so stupidly tanned they looked like they had been laying under a sun-bed for god-knows how long! She listened as he spoke, then sighed gently as he questione her, it was a good question, no-one had ever really asked her that before, she thought before answering. "I don't really fight for anything apart for my-self, I've never really had anyone or anthing to fight for, I've been alone for a long time. I tries fighting for a cause: money, but that didn;t really work out for me, al-though I did enjoy it, it's good for stress releif," she said with a slight laugh, "So have you come across anything that might be worth fighting for?" she questioned picking up her drink and taking another sip.
