It was a dark and windy night in the town of Kalm and a darkness was gathering in the centtral plaza of the town. This darkness was so complete that not even light could escape its dark clutches. A small child, only 5 years old, walked over to the darkness and reached out to touch it. No one was around and the child didn't know any better. As soon as the child touched it, the darkness swerled up and around the child and enveloped him in darkness.
Soon the darkness retruned to its normal state and began to shrink down into the ground. There was no sign of the child. In his place was a tall menicing looking man with a gunblade strapped to his side. He wore a lond white cloak with a demonic looking symbol on his back. He wore all black and had a mean looking scap, much like Leon's, going down from his forehead on the left to the right side of his face. He looked aroud and laughed. "So, thats how he did it. Squall, Im coming for you... Ha ha, Ha Ha Ha Ha Hah!" He yelled as he walked away into the darkened streets.

Dez stumbled through the streets to her apartment, tired from the ridiculusly long day she had at the restaurant. "I dreamt of adventure, of being a hero... Well, I'm somebody's hero tonight..." she thought to her poor boss who had come down with the flu and of the other waitresses who were either gone or also sick. Sure, generally it wasn't too busy, just enough for two waitresses to handle, but it was Friday. It seemed to her as if everyone in town had come to THEIR restaurant. She knew some just liked coming to see what new hair color she had, but still...
And what was worse; they had ran out of fish, fries, and some other key ingredients and had no way to order more. They lost a ton of money over that too, which made the 23-year-old blue-haired waitress and the 67-year-old cook all the more irritated. She sighed softly as she continued on her way. A hot shower and some strong tea would be her only comfort... as long as her water hadn't gotten disconnected...
