"Such distaste..."
The words faded towards the end of the setence, falling into the glass clasped with a light grip upon the table before him as he took another quick swig of the light colored liquor. It's taste was on the border of tart, yet it also held a slight 'sweetening' side as it went down; seeming to fight back with a light burning sensation as it ran down the back of his throat. A good choice indeed. Just the very smell of it was enough to bring a wry grin to his lips and soften his mood a little bit more before tending to a reply to the question...
"In all honesty, I don't see reason for such mistrust towards one if you have even served under the banner."
The single pupil shot to the side, focusing on the eyes of the blonde figure next to him. Letting the question hang, a right hand shifted the glass lightly. A soft stain of water was all that remained of the glass's former position, yet lightly, he began to run his left index finger through the condensation. It had seemed all amusing to his glance, yet even then he continued to speak.
"Then again...I don't exactly like their methods either. Yet you can't complain that they also have their hands full with this Stigma thing and seem to be on the same page for once."
Such a fact was indeed true. It seems that Rufus did indeed have his hands full with whatever it was that plagued him. Everytime Sae had caught a glimpse of what was to be the head of the company, it was nothing more then a bundle of white robes huddled in a wheelchair. Considering his immense exposure to Mako and towards the cells of Jenova during his capture, it was amazing that he was not one effected also; then again...his body is not exactly organic. A silent laugh slipped through his lips once again. Irony...how beautiful it was indeed. Raising the glass to his lips once again, he finished the remaining contents within before setting it down unto the bar with a light tap of glass against aged wood; A few Gil was left beside the now empty mug. Shifting his body towards the side, he leaned forward to step off the stool...
"Now then. Thank you for the drink and your hospitality. If I may take my leave..."

((May I join?))
The door to the bar opened to reveal a female donned in a red-hooded cloak as she entered silently, not minding the people, if there are any, around her whom are watching her with a quizzical look since they haven't seen her around the place anywhere. Nobody seems to know who she was, or what she is, or if she even exist, as she sat down on the chair in front of the bar and just waited for her turn so that she could order. They were talking about something in which she would most likely more than please to hear, but if there is no choice, then she would have to be silent about it.
They must have talking abotu ShinRa, she thought, as she averted her gaze towards the windows outside. Such thoughts returned to her as the maroon-haired female hated that fact that she actually became a 'guinea pig' and that made her more distant to anyone else than ever before. Well, now that she heard about the topic, might as well shut her trap up for a while and wait patiently for her order.

Tifa turned around to hide a scowl, pretending to put away all the clean utensils back in the cubboards. The mention of ShinRa was just angering -- they were the blame for everything: The current state of the Planet. Midgar's downfall. The destruction of Nibelheim... no... no, that was Sephiroth's doing. But perhaps... if Sephiroth was not genetically altered by the ShinRa's experimentation... if ShinRa never existed, perhaps Cloud never would've left to join SOLDIER. The thought of her and Cloud living normally was quite hard to grasp. The hate for ShinRa will always be there and thus her allegience with AVALANCHE began.
The man who brought up the current topic about the ShinRa seemed to have been taking his leave. Tifa took the money and placed it in the cashier, but wanted to say something just before he left...
[glow=blue,2,300]"The ShinRa promised prosperity then, what're the chances they'd keep their word this time?"[/glow] she said, with a hint of anger in her voice. Rufus, though wheelchair-bound and rumored to have been afflicted with the stigma, was much like his father. The sound of the door caught Tifa's attention and could only mean one thing: there was another customer to attend to. Without much of a second thought, Tifa grabs a menu, walks over at the table and leaves it at the teenage girl's side, faking a soft smile as if saying welcome to the bar, enjoy your stay.

Her gaze was cut off when a female went near her and handed the menu as she gratefully took the menu and read it with her eyes. Somehow, her gaze was nothing more than just a blank stare, as if there's no soul within it and yet it can bore into the toughest of walls with it. With such expressionless look in her face, many would find it hard to read her, although once she spoke with her soft and distant tone as if she have live for a long time just to search for a meaning, that would be enough to judge her for who she really is.
After she took her time in looking what should she order- this would be one of the instances she have to eat at least something- she called the attention on the female once more with her soft tone of hers which was loud enough to hear.
"Excuse me, madam," The female called, lowering her hood to show a young yet pale face, her thin-like maroon hair lay in her head neatly. It was pretty hard to determin that she was once a victim of an experimentation years ago with the face and demeanor of hers that she show.

"Ignorance is bliss I suppose. Figure that this whole 'Mako promised land Seph' thing is over, that they would have something better to do. Besides...think about it. You can't go trying to explain such complicated things to many civilians...unless you want a sort of revolt on your hands. All that's left is excuses."
A muffled grunt, and he stood up slowly. The full extent of his height towering above those around him as the single eye peered below as if to give a final glance-over. Tensing his already strained muscles, Sae wound his neck about lightly with a soft pop to rid of that uncomfortable tight feeling.
"Oh well, you win some you lose some. Something tells me if Seph wasn't here, others would have suffered a similar fate. Better consider what could have happened before you jump to conclusions."
Again, the pupil shot over to figure that was seated next to him, holding for a moment longer before averting the gaze with his turning body towards the door. A snap of the cloak against the air followed by a graceful billowing motion; and he was off towards the door, only stopping once his hand touched the handle.
"Inn across the street. Neh, I can make it."
Without further thought, nor words to those he left in the dark confines of the bar, Sae opened the door and slid through into the light before shutting it behind him. No more then a shadow passing over...

*Although Cloud knew Tifa to hide her anger whenever she was feeling that emotion, Cloud showed no mind to showing his anger. That was the only emotion he would be glad to show, that and maybe happiness. Cloud looked to the man in black as he looked back at him. It would be fine if he kept talking but if he were to attack, Cloud would have to oblige and defend. As he left out the door, Cloud rolled his eyes and looked to Tifa. If there was anyone who felt hate for ShinRa, it was Tifa. Not even Cloud hated the company as much as she did. Cloud thought to ease her mind. Cloud also thought it to be of no problem if having to deal with the tall figure. In Cloud's eyes he didn't look strong, as Cloud had dealt with worse than him.*
"Don't worry about him, Tifa. No use in telling the truth about something when someone is not willing to listen..."

Through the fake smile that she gave, Tifa's heart ached. The memories kept flooding today, didn't it? She swallowed back the lump in her throat as she looked at Cloud -- he was right. She, Cloud, Vincent and the others knew the truth after all... trying to explain to it to someone who wouldn't even bothered to listen would be a wasted effort.
[glow=blue,2,300]"Come again..."[/glow] she murmered unintentionally as the stranger left... after so many years of being the bartender of Seventh Heaven, this and the old one back in the sector 7 slums of Midgar, it suddenly became a second nature to greet every customer who came and went out the door. The next thing she knew, she was being called out by the girl who came in earliar. Tifa turned around and all attention was averted to the girl, giving a curious look as to wonder whether she wanted to know something, or that she had made up her mind, coming up with a decision of what to order.

The female, whom a while ago stayed silent all thoughout the conversation as soon as she came in, began to speak in her soft, melachonic tone as she looked up towards the female before her with her blank-like eyes.
"I believe there isn't any woes in this world that cannot be answered by what's within the person," the enigmatic female said in her monotone, as if she have seen and witness everything with her own eyes to prove her words to be right, although she could have said that in a different manner. "But it depends on a person if their woes would be answered or not, it is just my opinion about the current topic." She ended with another melachonic tone, as if telling that she was only forced to say that because she cannot stand anyone who sided with such monstrocity of ShinRa not only to her but to anyone else who have been victimized by their innovations, whether it is direct or indirect.
Trying to change the topic as to avoid such a gloom mood around the bar, the female cleared her voice once more before she spoke, as if this topic was nothing more than non-existant to her at all.
"If you may, I would like to have black tea and a grilled cheese sandwhich." She said in quite a silent yet polite tone, pulling out a pouched from somewhere behind her red hood which was actually contains her hard-earned Gil just in case to pay up the expences. She wasn't actually butting in a conversation, in the first place, it just so happens that she was prodded in with it and forced to give an opinion of her own in which only few can understand, and if they did, it would be very wise to learn from them. She have live for a while now, without even aging or anything, but it was a curse to her, a 'living nightmare' if she would dare say it, to live without aging, to see anyone close to her dying before her very eyes, to become such a monster on who she become with, thanks to the Mako technology.

From what Tifa she could tell from beneath that red hood, the girl was quite skinny for her age. Anorexic, probably. And so she began to make that order right away -- a grilled cheese sandwich wasn't that hard. Tifa would make this on a daily basis since it was among Denzel's favorites. The black expression the younger girl made Tifa think: Kids weren't kids nowadays. At least not anymore, with all that was happening to the world. She thought about Denzel and Marlene; how often they would act grown up for the day. Or whenever Denzel would have one of his spells and Marlene would nurse him back to health while Tifa would handle the bar. Only six years old and already taking charge...
Taking a sidewards glance at Cloud every once in a while made Tifa angry for some odd reason. If he could just not disappear days at a time, never mentioning where in the world he had been. If only he knew how much of a father-figure he was to Denzel. But now wasn't the right time for that sort of talk -- not while there were customers around.
Tifa walked back to the girl's side, cheesestake and tea in hand, and placed it down on the table. [glow=blue,2,300]"You seem to know what you're talking about. How old are you? Where're your parents?"[/glow] She asked, curiousity taking over. She talked about sorrow and woes as if she had experienced it herself. She must've been about the same age-range as when she had first met Yuffie, but much more mature the little ninja warrior could ever be.

Taking the sandwhich with a small bite, she answered the female's question after chewing her food since she doesn't really mind her question one bit. It's quite fine to her if people wanted to know about her, for just as long as they don't get in her way, things would be alright for both sides.
"Not too young, but not too old," The female said in her still-melachonic tone. "Just around 30's or more, depends." She said, which she doesn't mind. She may look young for her age, but she was old enough to know what its like to become an old guy. To answer the other question, she just took another bite as she shook her head in reply, telling that she doesn't have any parents, nor any relatives, living with her. She placed down her sandwhich and grasp the cup of the hot tea with both of her hands and took a small sip with it, the hot drink touching her delicate lips.

*Cloud met eyes with Tifa as well. Something was troubling her again, Cloud could feel it. As the girl went on, Cloud looked to her with much interest. For someone who seemed so young and small, she sure did know a lot. She might have been from a very wise family, that could be the only possible way to see it. I don't see how children would like to read, Cloud sure didn't. Cloud let out a small chuckle, at how wise this girl seemed to be. But when he heard her age, Cloud could only let out a another small chuckle. He had no idea this "woman" was as old as she claimed to be. But Cloud would believe it, he had seen worse. She was basically another "Vincent". Cloud then decided to let out a fun comment, probably something to make Tifa give him another look his way.*
"Wow...didn't see that coming..."

[glow=blue,2,300]"... Thirty or more?"[/glow] Tifa repeated, raising an eyebrow. This news would've surprised her imensely, having her staring stupidly at the girl wondering how on earth could she have stayed youthful in appearance. Upon hearing Cloud's comment, she gave him a sneer from the corner of her eye, then looked on at Vincent, wondering if he was even paying attention to all of this. He too was ageless - immortal in a sense. If she had never known him, then yes -- it would have been news.

The female looked at Cloud with her blank orbs not really annoyed or offended at him and the way he speaks. She doesn't mind anyway, not that she care, but it's just that it quite amuses her a bit to hear that one. As for the raven-haired female's part, she can't seem to put a word to it on how she reacted on her age, but it wasn't much for her.
"It would be better if people refer to me in what I look than in my age," The female said, sipping at her hot tea slowly. "But it wasn't really that hard to act in any way you want, even if I, myself, is approximately thirty-six of age." she added in her hollow-like tone of hers, though more softly than before. True, she was older than she looks, but somehow she retains her innocent mind of a young teenager and gained wise beyond her years, but there are times that she should know when or where she should place her alleigance in her own self, if she has one anyway. For now, she was pretty much the neutral one, only fighting if she think the side is worthy enough for her inhuman skills of a fighter.
As for her age itself, however....
That was another story.

*Cloud yawned a little and took a sip of his drink, which he had left stand for a while. He scratched his head a little and by accident, caught the girl speaking again. Cloud hadn't seen anyone like that since Vincent, and it has been a while since then. So Cloud wasn't exactly used to these kind of people yet, despite being around Vincent. It was not that they bothered or annoyed Cloud, it was just something you didn't see everyday. Every turn Cloud took he would find something new or see something new. I guess that was one advantage to his miserable life. Cloud then got up from his seat. He then looked to Tifa.*
"Tifa, I'm going upstairs."

Tifa nodded, just as the youthful looking girl had mentioned people should refer to her as the age she appeared to be. It wasn't her place to tell her what she should and shouldn't do. She was, after all, nearly twice Tifa's age; and so she assumed she knew better. All Tifa could wonder was how on earth could someone get into such a state? But then she remembered Vincent once again, as she looked on at him with a vauge expression on her face. He was experimented on, isn't that right? By Hojo of ShinRa Inc.? And thought that something similar had happaned in this young woman's past. She let the subject drop, seeing that there were certain tasks to be done before the day was over and went back behind the bar. Cloud had just risen from his seat and stated he was about to leave.
[glow=blue,2,300]"Oh, no you don't, Cloud! You're helping me make dinner tonight!"[/glow] She said, throwing him an apron. She had had enough of him disappearing. Even though it was just one floor above, she didn't like him to be away where she coudn't see him. Not that she was beginning to get overprotective. No. It was just that Tifa wanted Cloud to be there... or rather, Tifa just wanted to be there with him.
