Reunion of Best Friends (Alexia, open)

Alex slowly walked to the Seventh Heaven, where he had met Alexia for the first time. This was to be the anniversery of the day they met here, only 3 months ago. It felt good to Alex that he could see his friend once more. They had agreed to come back here when they separated a long time ago. He was just about to open the door, when he heard the thunder clash overhead. He smiled at it when he looked up to the rainy overcast. "I love it!" He yelled before entering.

As he walked in, there were only a few people, but they didn't seem to mind Alex's enterance. He walked calmly over to the bar and ordered a drink. He was certainly able to drink at least one beer: He's over 3000 years old! The waitress came back with his drink, and Alex slowly sipped at it.

Alexia walked into the bar, an old newspaper she'd picked up over her head to shield her from the rain, it didn't work she was soaked, her long hair and leather coat dripping all over the floor. "Sorry 'bout that," she said dmping the soggy newspaper into the bin and sitting down next to her friend. "I will have a vodka and coke please, I'm screwed if I'm drinking orange juice again" she said with a smile pusing some coins across the counter then looking over to Alex. "Well hello here, fancy seeing you here!" she said a slight hint of sarcasm dripping from her voice. "Lovely weather," She added still sarcastic, though she loved lightning, she hated thunder, and she liked the rain but not getting wet, she truely was a strange being.

Alex put an arm around his friend, and smiled at her. "How've you been, Alexia?" He was sure she could tell the change in his voice because of his new dark powers, but he wasn't sure she could feel the dark energy coming off of him. "If you'd like to know, I've changed and become partly dark in my powers." He took his arm off her, and continued, looking forwards. "There've been a lot of changes in my life since we last met, dear friend. I'm glad to see you again." Alex's eyes widened. "I forgot to mention while I was rambling: I have a little sister!" His enthusiasm stayed as he took a drink.

"I was about to ask if your voice had like broken again or something," Alexia said with a playful smile. "And what do you mean 'dark' you aint turning evil on me are ya?" She said doing and anti'crist symbol with her two index fingers, the smile still planted on her features. The bar-main handed her the drink an she smiled gratefully before taking a small sip. "Wow a minin Alex, that's a scary thought," she said playfullness etched into her voice. "So what's mini-Alexi like? is she caller than you?" She said taking another sip of her drink before looking down at her wet clothes, "It's freezing in here," She said, standing up andtaking her coat off, some-how the inside was wet, "Well that helped," She said sarcsticly, her cropped topp was also wet, and there was a draught. She sat back down and eyed her drink.

Alex took a sip of his drink, then set it down again. His friend was undeniably wet, and he knew he should help her. Alex set a fireball in his hand, and began to slowly dry out Alexia's clothing. "Please don't mind where this goes, I'm just trying to get you dry." He said this because it might have invaded her "personal space." He managed to get her upper body dry, and began to work on her legs. They dried faster than her upper body, and Alex began drying her overcoat. Once finished, he gave a simpathetic smile. "Sorry if I invaded your personal space. I was just trying to get you dried up. It just looked like it was bugging you, greatly." He sat back down and took another sip of his beer.

She watched intently as he dried her out. "I don't mind, personal space isn't reall an issue with me, unless people start groping, that's just going to far," she said smiling again. "Thanks, I don't feel cold now," she announced taking another sip of her drink, which was just over half gone now, she made a mental note not to drink too much, but she'd probably forget after a couple, alcohol had a very subtle effect on her until she had a drop to much she would be stumbling all over the place, quite funny to watch but frustrating for her. "So what you been up to over the past few months?" she questioned whilst resting her drink back on the bar infront of her.

Alex smiled and chuckled at her question. "Way to much for an Angel, Alexia." He said. "Let me break it down to you in short segments: Firstly, I had met Damani Fayth once again in Gongaga, and then we went to a warehouse nearby the Mithril Mines, to remove the computer part of her brain. We were going to go to Fort Condor afterwards, but I was side-tracked by a dark feeling in my soul, and I went to the Forgotten Capital. That's where I met Kaida Aikuma, who's been a good friend of mine. After meeting her, we both set out to find Damani, but we call her Dezzy now.

"We had a hunch that she was in Junon, after following the rumor of a powerful person in spirit, and we thought it would be her. Angeal Hewley had come along with us, and we spent a night in a hotel in Junon. It wasn't much of a night, but I left during the middle of the night. I came back to the hotel, put a note down on the table in the room we rented, and left for the rest of the night.

"Then, when morning broke, I got into a fight with my old enemy, Karri, and I finally had killed her. Dezzy came in to help me with that, and Angeal departed when we went back to the lower lands of Junon. Then, Kaida, Dezzy, and I all went off to the outskirts of the city and I taught Dezzy how to meditate successfully.

"We left Junon and headed to Kalm to find my little sister, Maria. We found her, but were captured and put into cells. While we were there, I had grown feelings for Kaida, and she returned the feelings towards me. All I remember was being put to work and getting a bullet into my left shoulder, and that's where I draw a blank." He moved his sleeve slightly, and the bullet wound showed in his shoulder. "It still hurts! Anyway, I'm done with my story, so how about you? What've you been up to?" He took a drink, and finished it, setting the empty glass back on the counter.

"To be honest, not much really, met a guy called Cal and went traveling with him for a while, he has something against Deepground I think, I'm gonna go back and help some-more after we're done here, but other than that I haven't done anything. But there was an incident with a strange looking girl in Costa Del Sol, she was looking for a water materia before she just disappeared, that was one of the stranger occurances," She said putting her index finger on her chin and looking up, "I wonder where she went?" she muttered to her-self before snapping out of her thoughts and taking a sip of her drink. "I would have thought, after like 3000 odd years, you would have more scars to be proud of than a gun-shot wound," Alexia said with a playful smile "And it isn't fair, my life is boring," She said puting slightly before drinking again.

Alex smirked. "Well, if you want a more exciting life, stick with me!" He smiled friendly towards her. "Little Maria would love to meet you, and so would Dezzy and Kaida. I'm sure they'd accept you as another member of the group. But, I think people would look at me in a different way if they saw me walking around with 4 girls..." He thought about this for a second, then shook it off. "Nah, I'm already being looked at for being around 3, so one more couldn't hurt!" Alex put his hand out.

"So, whatcha think? You wanna be part of our group?" He inteded for Alexia to shake his hand in agreement, but he knew she didn't have to if she didn't want to. "It's completely up to you, you know. I'm just suggesting something for you to do while you're bored. We do so much pertaining to going around, finding new places, people, and for the other three new clothes everywhere we go. But, I still gotta love those three! Other than shopping everywhere we go, it's not so bad. We sure as hell fight a lot of monsters mainly to train Dezzy, but sometimes I go out with Maria or Kaida and we just kill a bunch of Hellspawn. It really is fun. So, you in?" His smile never left his face.

She pondered for a second before grasping his hand with a smile on her face. "Sounds like fun, I'd love to thanks for the offer," She said still smiling happily. Then she let go of his hand and took another sip of her drink, finishing off. Then she ordered an orange juice thinking it better not to push it by ordering more alcohol. "And besides, people might get jealous, seeing you wlak around with 4 girls," she added flashing him a quick grin.

Alex's smile grew bigger. "I guess that was the point of it all!" He said, calming down soon after. He sighed. "Man, I'm going to hell... I'm gonna be called a pervert everywhere I go. Either that or a pimp. I'd perfer not to be called any of those, but I really don't mind as much." He leaned back and began thinking. "I wonder what the other three are up to?" He thought for a minute. Then, he remembered. "Ah, yeah they wanted to buy some clothes here. Maria must've talked them into it. She does that a lot, if you can believe it." He chuckled. "I only met her a few days ago, and now she has a trunk full of clothes that's bigger than her! I'm forced to carry round all her clothing, and she said she would hate me if I didn't." He looked over to Alexia. "You can understand why I didn't want that." He ordered some water, and began to sip at it when he got it.

"I can understand that, but as far as I kno, I have no family left, so I don't worry about it much," she said taking another sip of her orange juice. "I can't imagine you ever being called a pervert, I mean you don't look old or anything," she said with a slight smile putting a hand on her head, her hair was a little frizzy she sighed gently and glared ahead of her, causing the bar-maid to flinch away slightly "Damned weather," she groaned leaning on her fist. She then grabbed a blue straw and began to stir it, the ice clunking around in the glass as she amused herself.

"You must really be bored, huh?" Alex said, smiling once again. "Maybe I can get the others to stop shopping for a couple minutes and have them meet you, then we can all go off into an adventure." Alex felt greatness overcome himself when he used that one word. "God, we have so many adventures! You'll love to be in our group. Appearently we're almost outta money, so we need to go out, kill more monsters and win bets, and then we can waste more money on clothing." Alex frowned slightly as he mentioned this. "I've really gotta set an amount of cash we get just for myself. Or, we could all try and split it by 5, so..." He took a drink of his water, set it down, and turned, facing the outside. "I love the rain." He added silently, leaning up against the bar.

"No not really, I just hate the rain, I'm fussy when it comes to weather, I like lightning yet I hate thunder, and I hate really hot weather, like in Costa Del Sol," she said shuddering at the thought of the heat, the twatty tourists and the never-ending sand and sea. "I hate that place" she added with a scowl on her face before taking another sip of her drink, this time through her newly acquired straw. "You ran out of money, wow, they must have a serious hand-bag fetish or something" Alexia said with a smile "I'm more of a shoe gal myself," she said her smile widening.

Alex's head drooped when Alexia mentioned the last thing. He sighed, then brought himself back up. "Dammit, that's more money gone. I haven't even been able to afford a room for us to rent in a couple of weeks. You won't even believe how greasy my hair is! I really need a shower, but the other three seem to always find a place to bathe, and then they always tell me 'You should really take a shower or something.'" He put his hands to his head. "It's just so confusing!!! I can't understand how I can live with them anymore!" He relaxed little by little, until finally, he was content.

"No, I'm not out of money, it's just I have too little for myself. If I could, I would stop the three of them from buying anything else for like a week, but then my sister would hate me, Kaida would dispise me, and I wouldn't even imagine what Dezzy would do!" He stopped, took a drink, and thought.
