Duorzum caught the files with one claw easily. They actually gave him the first half of his files? Now he needed the second half in order to complete it. Still....
"What's the second half of this? I have not seen the other half of these files."

Duorzum snarled, and shoulder rammed the mako shield as they ignored his question. He needed to know where the other half was! The demon clawed at the shield, the talons screeching against the solid wall of energy. He must have the second half ASAP!
It was useless to bash down the shield, so he walked to a corner, sat there, and read the first half of the files.

It was useless to bash down the shield, so he walked to a corner, sat there, and read the first half of the files. Copies 116 - 119 entered the survalence room and watched Duorzum begin to read through the 1st half of his lab file... after a moment... 118: [glow=red,2,300] "um sir?"[/glow] he said hesitantly towards 116, 116: [glow=red,2,300] "hm?"[/glow] 118: [glow=red,2,300] "why exactly did you give him the first half?"[/glow] all the copies turned to look at 116... 116 sighed and ruefully shook his head, 116: [glow=red,2,300] "don't you idiots realize that if we gain this...thing's trust that NOTHING will be able to stop us until its too late?"[/glow] 118 flinched at the reprimand and hung his head slightly, mollified by the response... 116: [glow=red,2,300] "Furthermore,"[/glow] he continued, [glow=red,2,300] "His abilities rival that of CHAOS...with him and...'O' on our side we will finally be able to rouse the 'Goddess' from her slumber and bring about the end of days...without this 'thing' it would take YEARS to accomplish our goals..."[/glow] Finally comprihension seeped through the other copies' faces 117: [glow=red,2,300] "that means that we will finally recieve the 'gift'..."[/glow] 119: [glow=red,2,300] "and then...we will be made 'whole' again..."[/glow] 116 nodded They all turned and watched Duorzum continue to read... |

Duorzum continued to read the files, confused by what they said. Was this the ramblings of a madman? Or did they make actual sense? The demon was still trying to fit the pieces to the puzzle. What was he for? War, or peace? Or both? Perhaps he was just there to exist?
The first half he kept reading, until when he got to the second half, there wasn't a second half to read!

He leaned back against the wall, wings drooping slightly from their proud upright posture. The demon wasn't going to be happy with the outcome. His instinct told him so. Still, he had to hear what the clone had to offer.
This will not be a pretty picture.

[glow=red,2,300] "if you are cooperative, and do not attack the guards we send in, you will be fed and given everything you need to be comfortable...however...if you resist, we will simply TAKE the sample by force...and you WILL recieve nothing..."[/glow] [glow=red,2,300] "we have no wish to harm you...for that would be inconvignent for us...we merely wish to compleate our research and your Genetic Code would greatly help our efforts, however obtaining a pure sample would be much easier for both of us if you cooperate willingly..."[/glow] [glow=red,2,300] "You have 2 hours to decide"[/glow] the intercom went dead... Copy 116 turned to the other 3 117: [glow=red,2,300] "Do you think he will go for it?"[/glow] 116: [glow=red,2,300] "what choice does he have?"[/glow] 118: [glow=red,2,300] "Besides he wont refuse ANYTHING as long as he gets the cypher..."[/glow] 116 activated his personal com... [glow=red,2,300] "Copy 116 here sir, the Target has been secured, and has been given option 1, we are awaiting its response...over"[/glow] A voice like the deepest reaches of hell echoed eerily out of the com in response... [glow=red,2,300]"Fine...let me know when it accepts...in the mean time, you have incoming enimies, i suggesst you activate the defenses, i will be there within the hour..."[/glow]the com went dead... all the Copies gave a small shudder as the echo's of the voice faded... |

The creature simply stared at the mako barrier, as if deciding to do it. Damn these choices! He got up and decided to vent his anger on the barrier.
Damn, did he vent! A maelstrom of unbridled wrath, a tornado of fury, a volcano of vicious intent! It was like watching an everlasting flame burn!
Finally, after two hours of what seemed like eternity of bashing against the barrier, the creature curled up and fell asleep.
Now was the time to get the sample BEFORE the sleeping beast woke up!

No response. He was actually asleep. He was curled up like a dog, curling his tail around him and hiding his body with his wings. Yep, dead asleep.

When there was still no response he activated a shocker drone and sent it into the cell...it sent a mild shock through Duorzum's left wing... [glow=red,2,300] "Wake up"[/glow] |

Nope. The wing only twitched slightly. The sleeping demon made himself more comforable, and continued to snooze. He was absolutely unaware that his captors were trying to wake him up.
If they woke him though...it would be like trying to catch Meteor all by the lonesome with arms wide.

[glow=red,2,300] "this...may hurt alittle..."[/glow] 116 flipped a switch Suddenly the Mako shielded walls began to compress towards the center of the cell, making it smaller and smaller, until it was pressing Duorzum between to walls... 116 lessoned the pressure just enough to let the creature continue to breath...barely... [glow=red,2,300] "WAKE UP!"[/glow] |

Duorzum, even in his sleep state, felt something move. He immediately woke up and stood up to find out that it was the walls. Clever bastards not giving him sleep....
He stood still, glaring at where the camera would be. The only strained word was, "Fine."
The only thing on his mind right now was getting some air before he suffocated.
