Duorzum's placid visage suddenly shifted into a beastly scowl. Just the thought of being used as a tool was infuriating. He was used as a tool once; he will not be used as a tool again!

Duorzum simply snarled, "Let me see the second half."
His curiosity was getting the better of him and he hated it. Still, he had to know. The demon stood up, tail lashing. He sniffed the air and four familiar scents were picked out. One of them was human, another reeked of darkness, one had the scent of a fireball, and the last one was the scent of the Lifestream and the metallic smell of metal combined.
He didn't realize that he was going to be rescued...if they made it past the defense systems.

Duorzum just glared, then went to deciphering the second half. He then read the second half. The second half was even worse!
Was this his fate then? Was this all he was made for? He had the look of surprise and shock on his face, something rare on him.

Duorzum switched to his disguise, a gauntlet-claw tapping against the wall. The demon awaited what the man had to say. Damn it all! This was getting more confusing by the minute. He dared not dwell on it, though.
Events were looking chaotic in this constant tug-of-war for power.

He simply dropped the report, "I don't know anymore." ? ? ? ? ? ? ?: [glow=red,2,300]"..."[/glow]The man slowly turned and walked back out of the room, but stopped just before leaving... ? ? ? ? ? ? ?: [glow=red,2,300]"As promised..."[/glow]He snapped a long code as he stepped out and immediately the cage opened, the mako shielding around the cage flickered and died, then a new, larger mako shield went up over the walls of the room just after the door was sealed... Duorzum was left alone...to contimplate his position... |

The creature, still lost in thought, absently nodded at what the mystery person said. So, this was it? His only true and only purpose in his existance? So be it. If that is what his only reason of his existance was, then he shall abide by it.

"Where are my weapons?" after a short pause there was a loud THUNK as a section of the wall began to turn, revealing Duorzum's various weapons...and something unexpected...a large quintuple locked black case with the symbol of a Cerberus on it... the man's voice crackled over the com... ? ? ? ? ? ? ?: [glow=red,2,300]"The case belonged to your...father...it now belongs to you..."[/glow]Suddenly the case's locks simultaniously opened and the top came loose... ? ? ? ? ? ? ?: [glow=red,2,300]"...I believe its origional designation was 'DEATH PENALTY' "[/glow] |

One of the rarest, most devious smirks decided to make itself known when the case popped open. Still in human disguise, he gingerly picked up the new weapon after holstering his original weapons.
"Death Penalty? I like it."
His tail showed up right through the disguise, and coiled around the new weapon, not around the trigger, just the handle part.
"When is the first mission?"
He put the weapon in hand, ready to go.

He hid the Death Penalty beneath his cloak with his tail still holding on to it. The demon in disguise went into a full blown sprint out the door, already carrying out his mission.
Duorzum was obedient, to an extent.
