This place....(Open, Kaibatsu)

Kaibutsu's eyes widened as he watched Calamity walk as if in a trance, then crumple to the ground. She was receiving another memory, but this one seemed to be more painful than the rest. The hybrid's sharp teeth gritted togeather in frustration, and in hatred; not for Calamity, or for Skath, but for himself. Here he was, just watching his only friend crippled on the floor in horrible mental pain. He could do nothing! He dig his claws into his palms, letting blood drip through his fingers. His body quivered like a leaf as he stepped towards the woman crumpled on the ground, but was too unstable to do much more without ending up shedding blood.

His enraged trance was broken by Skath's words. "Perfect!" he rasped violently, a tone unlike his former, childish one haunting his voice. His stress levels elevated, he was now in danger of loosing his sanity once again, yet he made no attempt to calm himself. The experiment's scaly black tail went ridged, the lime stripes trickling down it seemed almost to glow in the dull light. Whatever was coming was about to face his pent up anger. "Come on, you son of a bitch." his thoughts growled at whatever was coming, "I'll gut you like a pig!"

His silent words were not a threat, they were a promise.

Her tears continued to stream down her cheeks, she’d never felt so helpless and useless in her life. I let my father kill my mother? Why didn’t I try to stop him? Was I told not to interfere? she thought to herself as she continued to tremble. Calamity took a deep breath, trying to steady out her breathing. No! I’m stronger than this! her mind screamed at her. Her eyes closed, she refused to let this ruin her. Calamity opened her eyes, she was still trembling terribly. Was that what made me train harder? she thought to herself. A shiver ran down her spine, her cerulean eyes were still filled with tears.

Calamity looked down at her hands, her nails were digging into the ground. Her trembling form slowly pushed to her feet. I’m not that person anymore! Calamity thought to herself. Her black hair fell in front of her face as she bowed her head. Her hand closed into a fist and her trembling stopped. She slowly opened her eyes. She turned to look at Kai, seeing the blood on the floor and quickly concluded that the blood had came from Kai’s hand.

Kai… Calamity looked away, she quickly kicked of the wall, allowing her to get up higher until she was crouching on a broken ledge. On the inside Calamity was still an emotional wreck, her eyes were still blotchy but from a distance no-one would be able to tell. Something had drawn her attention to this ledge though she wasn’t sure what it was until she actually got up there.

Her delicate fingers wrapped around the weapon she’d land beside. The sickle was heavier than her sais were but not unmanageable. She already knew she’d gotten up here unnoticed but now she needed to get back down without him noticing. This is going to be fun. She jumped down, landing silently behind Kai. His sickle still in her hand. Calamity placed her hand on his shoulder as she silently moved to stand in front of him. She held the sickle out to him and smiled. “You’ll be wanting this back,” she said softly, her voice was still shaky from her crying.

Skath watchs Kai go from bumbling hatchling to full fleaged hunter "well he is more then meets the eyes". Skath walks up next to Kai "So what do you think it could be". Skath crouches down and siffs at the ground and hops around on his two legs and the one hand the other sill holding the broadsword in the sheath "well what ever it is its big thats for sure". Skath looks up to see Calamity jump down from her vantige point with a very strange looking thing. after she says “You’ll be wanting this back” skath thinks to himself "is that the weapon he was looking for".

Kaibutsu whipped his head over at the sound of Calamity's voice. His eyes fell upon the dark form of Morgrim. His eyes were almost affectionate as he took the sickle in his clawed hands. He pressed his forehead to th side of the blade. "Boy, have I missed you, old friend." After a moment of silence, the experiment's eyes shot open.

"Big, for sure." he replied, the loud pounding of paws was deep and thundering as their unwanted guest approached. Was that a ... behemoth? What was a behemoth doing here? The slobbering beast's purple pelt was ragged and patchy. Apparently, it hadn't had a decent meal in days, but as anyone should know, a hungry beast is a dangerous beast.

"How's that for big, eh? Listen, before we go in, I need to warn you to give me a wide berth. If I go out of control get away as fast as you can."

Her hand lowered as she watched him take the weapon from her, although she was trying to hide that she was still in pain it was still visible in her eyes, the cerulean dampened with sadness beyond measure. He never ceases to amaze me, he’s more affectionate towards a weapon than I’ve seen him with anything else. Calamity thought to herself. These thoughts were quickly forgotten, they were unnecessary thoughts to start with. She took her sais in her delicate fingers, flipping them so that the blades ran up her arms, ready for use at any moment.

“Such a charming creature,” her voice dripped with sarcasm. In a single movement she leapt sideways so that she was away from the other two while she observed the creature before her. Calamity looked over at Kai with a ‘like I’m ever going to do that’ kind of look on her face.

Calamity sighed as she leapt up onto a jutting out ledge, the behemoth was too busy trying to get at her to pay attention to the other two, foolish creature. She leapt upwards suddenly, landing on its back as she flipped to avoid its attack. She stabbed both her sais into its back before jumping off of it.
