Destiny Fayth was beginning to wonder why she bothered listening to that old woman in the first place. The woman was senile and hardly able to take care of herself. Dez had simply gone in as a dare from an acquaintance of her. Still, Dez was indefinitely superstitious, so when she was sent off with the advice of "Go to Midgar and search for your destiny" she left immediately after warning her boss at the restaurant she would be gone for a couple of days and heading to the ghost town. "You will know it when you see it," the old one had said in her raspy, yet wise voice.
So here she was, two days later, searching in a dead town for a destiny she wasn't sure she'd ever find. A sigh so soft it bled into the cool breeze that the twilight hours brought upon what was once one of the greatest cities in the world. Metal walls and once superior architecture surrounded her, making her feel so insignificant and small. It was home... Even after all these years of being on her own in the world and making her bed in Kalm, Midgar was still her home.
The blue haired woman, for she was no longer the girl she had been when she had fled Midgar for her life, orphaned and alone, stared up at the clear night sky. It was a site she would have died for, and almost did once or twice when she started to rebel, all of those years ago. That life was no more, and sometimes she wondered if it had ever truly been, or if it was all just a dream of a dream. She missed being young. She missed missing the sky and dreaming of someday being whisked away by her knight in shining armor to take her above the plate and show her what life and love were truly about. She missed being innocent and naive... She missed truly being able to call this place home.
She was so wrapped up in her thoughts she never noticed the creature behind her, springing for an attack.

Above the sky near the Shinra building, Sephiroth was in a huge fight with a very familiar beast. He used many familiar attacks, he used many attacks he used attacks he used back in SOLDIER days. But then he unleashed a new attack, it was like Clouds last attack that had killed him before. He took slashed all swords into the monster. He covered in blood, along with his sword dripping with blood. Blood was dripping down off of him, and unto who ever and what ever was below him. (Yay my first rp on this site in a long time, though its short, but hey still good ^_^)

The creature snarled, bringing Destiny out of her daze. Turning and pulling her gun out, she prepared for the fight mentally, just as a drop of blood landed on her upper cheek and running down her face like a tear. She wiped it off cautiously, looking up. She didn't see anything, and she had too much to worry about right now.
The creature, whatever it was she wasn't sure, snarled at her again, and she aimed her gun, straight for it's head. The head was encased in some sort of bone or armor or something, but she saw a soft spot on the top of it's head. As it came rushing at her, she rolled over to the side, landing on her feet and aiming at that soft spot. She pulled the trigger, but the creature was too fast and the bullet went right past it. The blue-haired girl brought out her father's Mythril Saber and got into the familiar battle stance he had taught her as a child fighting monsters in the slums. She ran head on toward it and as they clashed she brought her sword under and plunged it into the monster's chest. She grinned and pulled the sword out of the beast. "Take that," she said backing up and looking at her work.

He wiped off all the blood from him, He looked down, saw someone fighting. Another one kill huh. He smiled. His black wings opened up, he floated down. He touched ground right in front of the blue haired girl. He looked into her eyes. ........... he said nothing because he was astonished. They were like Green Materia. His face had a blank expression. He thought to himself 'I can't attack this beautiful creature.. Even though I hate everyone, this one seems to ...' He tried to clear his mind.
What is your name?. He was curious to what her name was but why? Why hadn't he killed her? What was the reason behind it?
(hmmmmm)

Destiny backed up three steps, pulling out her sword again and sliding into her fighting stance. She was wary of strangers now and days. "Destiny Fayth," she said clearly. One thing she was never afraid of was giving her name away. Someday she wanted that name to be feared by her enemies. She took in his tall stature and silver hair. (It looks so soft and silky... If he's not harmful maybe I'll ask him if I can feel it) she blushed at the thought, but tried to keep her emotions under control. She noted his wings and the fact that he was covered in blood... And that he was handsome, although she was hardly the one to be attracted to a man just because his looks. She had never dated, ever, because she had yet to find a good enough man, and she had high standards.

He looks at his wings, then looks at his Sword. He puts his sword away, and puts half his wings away. His wings still could be seen only by a few inches. Destiny Fayth. Nice name... 'What am I saying?' He thought to himself. ................. Nothing came out of his mouth. His face, was turning red, but the blood was covering it so it could not be shown.
His eyes were glowing deep green. 'maby I Have some use for this beautiful creature'.
(Mind whirring down like a broken clock, FIX!!! lol)

Destiny nodded, a blush creeping up on her cheeks. That was the issue with having pale skin; it was so easy to see when you were blushing. She turned her face away, trying to hide it, but she knew it wouldn't be hard to see. "Thank you," she replied quietly. When she thought she had her emotions under control again she looked back up at him. She relaxed her posture and lowered her weapon, although she didn't put it completely away yet. She was too untrusting to do that yet. "And your name is..... " She had no idea why she was even interested in knowing. Something in the back of her mind told her to run, that this man was dangerous, but of course she didn't listen.

My name is... My name is Sephiroth. His voice was as calm as possible. His Wings now fully gone, he picked up an old rag off the ground, his hair dropping down. He took his hair and put it behind him.
He cleaned off the blood off of his face and his hand. He walked up to Fayth, Touched her on her shoulder. Come with me... His mind was clouded. He put his other hand on her other shoulder, pulled her close. It was almost as if he was trying to hug her. He pulled her close to his body. He then lifted off of the ground.

Destiny was confused and guarded, but she couldn't help to listen to him. Sephiroth... Somehow the name sounded familiar to her, although she couldn't recall anymore... It was a distant memory to her as he touched her shoulder, causing her to blush deeper crimson. His hand on her other shoulder confused her even more. She had never been this close to anybody, man or woman, in her life since her parents had last hugged her goodbye when she had left to go to Wall Market on that faithful day she lost everything. Her breathing was rushed and shallow as her face heated up. Then they lifted off of the ground and she cringed; it wasn't terrible, but she had a slight fear of heights that she would never admit to. "What are we doing?" she asked aloud, nervous and still red.

He noticed that she was trembling. Don't worry, you will be fine, I got you. He went a little higher. He saw the area he was first wanting to go to it before he got into that fight. He went to the lake that was a few miles away from Kalm. His foot touched down. The water was shimmering blue, and sparkling from the moon. The water fall sounded really nice to here.
I usually come here when I want to think, or just don't want to here anything. He took her hand, and walked towards the edge of the cliff. He sat down and dipped his legs into the water. Still holding her hand. Come on... Sit....
(I guess Sephy does have a nice side after all.)

Destiny just kind of stared at him, confused, but she sat down next to him anyways although she kept her legs out of the water. She only had a few pairs of jeans and none to spare, not to mention she figured the water was cold right about now. She looks at the full moon, but it offered no advice to help her in this situation. She kept glancing at their hands, unsure if this was even right when all she really knew was his name.
"I'm sorry, this is just strange..." she said softly. "I haven't been around men much in my life, especially not holding hands..."

He let go of her hands. Sorry. I am confused at this too, usually I would be killing anyone and anything. He told her. 'What am I doing? Why am I nice to her? Why do I not kill her?' He was quiet for sometime now. The night, it was quite the only thing breaking the silence is the water fall, crickets, and the sound of birds singing. Sephiroth broke the silence. So, Why were you in Midgar for? All it is, is just ruins. Only dangerous monsters live there now.

Destiny sighed softly. "I was sent on a wild goose chase by an old woman that was reading a crystal ball and tarot cards. Went in as a dare, and as superstitious as I am I left Kalm for Midgar immediately after I was prepared..." she was a bit offended by the last part of his question. "And yes, it is a ruined city, dust compared to the former glory it was, but never, never, ever will it ever be 'just ruins'. And not only dangerous monsters call it a home..."
She stood abruptly, turning to walk away. She could still see the city from where they were, thats how massive it still was. "If you'd lived there," she said quietly, remembering a favorite song of hers when she was young, "You'd be home now too..."
She turned to look at the ruins of her home... Sure she no longer truly lived there, and sure she couldn't truthfully claim this was her first time there since Meteor came, but it was still home. "I was supposed to go to find my future, my destiny... All I found is you and some old memories... Memories are all that's left of my past so chances are you have something do to do with my future..." she turned to look at him. She studied him for several moments before turning back to her beloved home. "I grew up in Midgar... Everything I had, everything I ever dreamed about was in Midgar. Hell, even now I still dream of Midgar... How I used to dream of my knight in dark shining armor coming to sweep me off my feet and carry me to the upper plate and show me a life of luxury... How all I ever wanted to do was work for one of the shops in the Wall Market, or even be in SOLDIER, since they finally started to let women when I was about seven or eight... I wanted to do anything... Then Shinra destoryed my Sector... And then Meteor came and destroyed everything that meant anything to me..."
She had tears running down her face as recognition finally hit. "The Meteor you summoned," she turned to him, moving quickly toward the silver-haired man with accusation in her eyes. "The Meteor you caused to fall in order to destroy the Planet! You took everything away from me!! You're the reason I live the way I live, from day-to-day, barely surviving half of my encounters with this so-called 'fate', trying to help protect the bloody 'Planet' from the monsters that come from that bloody Crater you hid in while waiting for your bloody Meteor to destroy everything!!!!"
She was livid, but the tears were flowing so freely now that she wasn't sure what to do now, and she was quickly running out of the strength to yell, the strength to fight... She sank to her knees, her breath coming hard and fast and her tears coming just as quickly as her breath. "Do you know my pain? Do you know what it's like to lose everything that means anything to you at all? To lose the very reason you breathe, the very essence of your life, your heart, your soul?"

I....I..... He was speechless. What is he supposed to say. He didn't know what to say. He was the reason for destroying her home. He didn't know what to say, do, or anything else, he couldn't say sorry, because he wasn't. I don't.... know..... I don't know the feeling, I don't even know why..... Thats all he could say. Sephiroth stood up. Walked over to her, and gave her a hug. For some odd reason tears was running down his face, he hasn't cried since, since.... he was a little boy, but that was just a dream, a memory created by that damned Hojo.
His wings opened up and enclosed both of them inside. He just sat there hugging her. holding her. Embracing her.
(Whew, took a bit, But I got it ^_^)

Dez clung to Sephiroth, the one who ruined her home, destroyed so much in her life... She clung to him and sobbed out all of her pain. She was having a hard time catching her breath she was crying so hard.
She eventually calmed down a bit, but she still clung to him, still used him as a lifeline, for a few more minutes after that. She felt comfortable here, even though she knew she shouldn't. She knew she should be afraid at the very least, but she wasn't. She wasn't even the least bit worried about being hurt by him. She couldn't understand why either. She just stood there with his wings and his arms wrapped around her.
She looked up at his face and saw his tears. She reached up, standing on her tip toes to wipe away one of the tears. Once again, she was confused, but she said nothing. "Sorry," she whispered softly. She didn't even know what she was apologizing for, but she felt it was necessary. She laid her forhead against his chest. "So sorry..."
