Sephiroth Still holding her, saw that she calmed down. He felt her hand on his face, and felt that she wiped a tear off of his face. He herd her say "sorry". He looked at her face, then her eyes, and says. "Sorry? Sorry for what?" He paused for a few moments. Then held her some more.
He herd some noises. He opened his wings up, and looked around. He couldn't see a thing. He looked at her. Did you here that? He had asked her. He herd the sound again. He let go of her, and looked around. He walked over to the edge and saw that something fast was coming up the side of the cliff. He got his sword out. The next thing that happened was a monster came up and knocked him over. His sword fell out of his hand and into the water. He quickly got up and punched the shadow wolf, the wolf had not been affected, it was after Dez. He Quickly ran over to the water, dove in, and retrieved his sword. He quickly ran towards the wolf and sliced it in half, it had disappeared. He dropped his sword and walked up to Dez.
He held her once more, then had let her go. He took her hand, "Were do you want to go? Back to Midgar?"

Dez gasped, seeing the monster, but everything happened too quick for her to even pull out her gun. She glared as he took her hand. "I could have taken care of myself, ya know?" she said, pulling her hand out of his, crossing her arms over her chest and pouting. "I'm a big girl. I've taken care of myself for many years now, and that wouldn't have been the first monster I've been forced to fight either."
Then she sighed, giving in to her own mind. "Anywhere is fine..." she said softly, taking his hand in hers again and positioning her body close to his. "Just don't go away..."

"Sorry, quick reaction I get, when something nears." He rubbed his head while saying that. He grabbed her, and took her back to Midgar. Their feet had touched the ground. Whilst doing that. Deep Ground soldiers surrounded them. He quickly counted the soldiers. "hmph.... I got these 6 you get the other 6."
ht let go of Dez, and sprang into action, He jumped in the air, and did a flip, while in mid air he took out his sword, and sliced 2 soldiers in half. His feet landed on the ground. He casted fire on the other 2, they had M barrier on them, so he had no choice to slice them in half.
The other 2 Soldiers with rocket launchers on their back were immune to lighting, and ice, so he quickly used Fire 3 on them. The last 2 were a cinch, He just sliced them in half. His part was done. He watched Dez in action.

Dez rolled her eyes at the silver haired man. "Showoff," she murmured, pulling out both her gun and her sword. A wickedly sexy grin graced her face as she counted the soldiers. She turned to the side, pointing her sword at him and her gun slightly raised in preperation for the fight. "Okay, now gentlemen, I know I may look fragile and helpless, but.... I'm not. So don't bother holding back otherwise you'll get your asses kicked... Oh, wait, either way you're going to get your asses kick..."
She ran toward the nearest soldier, making to look like she was going to stab him, but at the last minute, as he was moving out of the way, aimed her gun and shot him in the face at point-blank range. The second one was so caught off guard by his comrade getting killed that he was easy to shoot too. The next one's sword clashed with hers before he got shot in the stomach. The fourth one shot a fire at her, barely scorching her arm before gets a sword through his chest. The fifth one managed to parry her first few attacks and graze her arm with his own sword before the sixth one came up, and attempting to stab her with a sword actually stabbed his last living comrade when she moved slightly to the side. She was fast and intelligent, there was no doubt about that, and even in battle she could be considered beautiful in her own way. The sixth and final soldier was a breeze; shocked by killing one of his own she simply swung her sword around and beheaded him.
She chuckled. "Idiots..." she muttered, walking over to Sephiroth. She grinned up at the much taller man, placing her hands on her hips and tilting her head like a cute puppy. "See, I told you I can take care of myself. I'm no amature to the life of battle."

He watched her out of amazement. He watched and studied her moves. He was not surprised nor excited. He looked down at her. "That was nice." He said in a calm voice. He walked up to her. Put his arms around her. He whispered to her "I wander why Deep Ground is after you? First it was the Shadow Wolf after you which is part of Deep Ground, and Now the soldiers."

Dez shrugged. "I don't know? Maybe because I'm too sexy and smart for my own good?" she giggled at her own joke before grinning up at him again. "I can take 'em all; I'm a mercenary after all, not to mention one of the best. I'm sure it's nothing I can't handle, no matter how many they send at me."
She was over confident now, which tended to be dangerous for her. "What do we do now? I'm bored!" she said, tugging on his arm. "Seeeeeeephyyyyyyyyyy! I'm boooooooooreeeeeed!!"
(Oh my gods... Where did that childishness come from? And why the hell did I call him Sephy?) she thought to herself but didn't mention it, hoping he wouldn't either.

''Yes you are, but don't let your Ego get to high, its often to dangerous!" He just looked out beyond the crumbled walls of Midgar. He then herd her say "Sephy" and "bored" No one has every called him Sephy. Hm. Well I know a place were we could go, just to be alone. Grab a hold of me as tight as you can, and I will take you there. He grabbed her, lifted her off the ground and put her legs on his other arm, and her upper body on the other arm. He then flies off to the Northern Crater.

Fay shuddered as they lifted off again; she wasn't sure she'd ever get used to flying like this. "Okay," she burried her face in his chest, trying to forget she was hundreds of feet above the ground with nothing to protect her other than his arms.
