Rain didn't have time to react to the new information revealed to him, concerning Zellie and how the music affects her fighting style, a subject which managed to cease Rain's curiosity, as his attention turned to the other side of the alley, where their so called 'company' were closing down on them quite rapidly. "I'm in no mood for any encounters… Yet. So let's just keep going this way and hope that we won't run into a dead end", he replied and gestured towards the other, empty, end of the alley. Before starting to run, a thought popped into Rain's mind. It was a question which he felt he must ask. "Say…", he started,
"What do you do if your batteries run out??"

"Well according to the leader of the science department at the time who made it for me, it runs on a special thunder type materia that should keep it powered far past my lifespan though if something DID happen to it......I really dont know what I would do." She said thoughtfully as they continued to run down the other end of the alley. "Umm.... to be honest I don't remember going this way too much I know there is an exit around here but do you know this part of the sector?" She asked shyly, while listening to the barking and panting of the dogs not far behind. If the dogs are making this much commotion we might have the guards to deal with too...I hope I didn't get this guy into a deeper mess...

Rain's mind delayed over Zellie's words. It seems she was so dependant on her music, yet it gave her strength and helped her at battles. This sort of correlation may seem effective, but what will be if something does happen to her Materia powered player? Dependency isn't a good thing, and Rain was the one to know that. Either way, it was no time to plunge in speculations. He looked at her and shook his head, "I'm sorry, but I have the status of a tourist here, I can't help with directions". He stopped in his place afterwards. "What do you think?", he inquired as he took a better hold on his knife, "Think there is another way then through them?", he continued, addressing the closing hounds. "I hate to do this, but I think we must, if we won't stop them they'll draw in the entire city guards! Make your choice now, whatever you choose- I follow". In his heart Rain cursed Shinra, but the thing which bothered him the most was their persistence. Why are they putting much effort into this case..?

"Well....I suppose we should take care of them there is a door right beyond them that leads to Midgar's outskirts..." she said as she flipped around and turned the song to a fast heavy techno type song to which she casted haste and fired six rapid shots at the frontmost dog.

"If there is a way out of here…", Rain said in somewhat of a bored tone as he took out two of his throwing knives. Zellie's shots flew past him before hitting their target. "One down, two to go", he said in the same tone and threw the knives at the farthest dog present, "Sorry, but you're in my way". This battle wasn't anything close to serious, as they were only facing a small pack of hound dogs, but if they won't get out there quickly grimmer creatures will appear. So it's only logical for them to take off before they do appear. There was only one dog left, as the other two had already been hit. "This one's all yours", he said to Zellie, "Target practice…", he sighed.

"These hounds are far too weak...provided the guards sent these they underestimate us!" She said running forward slicing the final dog in half with Forte as her song ended. "Now all we have to do is make it down this street, through the gate and we are out! Then we need to either head to Kalm and regroup or take a trip to the Chocobo farm if we plan to go farther...." She said putting away her weapons, and walking slowly to the opposite end of the street.

"Well, it depends", Rain replied as he started running down the street after Zellie, "Should the guards leave us alone once we're out of Midgar or whether they keep on going. By the look of it, it seems that they won't give up too quickly. It appears I have hit some of their nerves with my actions. Which brings me to my point…", He caught up with Zellie and rested his hand on her shoulder, as if telling her to stop, after he had done so. "In case they keep on their search", He continued in a more serious tone, "It will get more dangerous than it is now. They haven't saw you yet, so you don't have to come with me", He stopped for a moment and sighed before continuing, the exit was not far away from them, "You can still go back, it's okay. I'm thankful for your help as it is".

"No I have nothing to go back to now....I suppose I will travel with you until I find my purpose in life, which right now is getting you away from these guards, if we need to stay on the run as you suggested we shouldn't stop in Kalm...." she said catching her breath slowly, then suddenly she noticed the gate to Midgar's outskirts coming into view on the dark road. "......And there is the finish line." She said with a smirk breaking into a run.

'Travel with you'...
Zellie's words echoed in Rain's mind. He has never traveled with someone ever since he's moved out of his village. The same village where…
No!, Rain shook his head as if to get rid of his thoughts. He's been working hard lately to block his thoughts and maintain his calmness and clarity, after passing out a while back. He can't let his past haunt him any longer. Of course, his sister would never be forgotten by him, but what is past should stay that.
Lost in his mind for a few moments, Rain has snapped out of it only to find that Zellie is already quite far in front of him, closing to the exit. Making his way to her side, Rain wondered how it will be to travel alongside someone, especially a stranger, after so long. Well, for the best of both of them, the guards will let the search go after a day or so, so going farther ahead won't be necessary.
Finally getting to the exit, Raain stopped, Zellie standing next to him. "Well, here goes…", He said, "They shouldn't be able to track us once we're out in the open". After taking a look behind him he nodded his head and added, "Ladies first".

"You seem off....are you feeling well?" She said with a slight frown as she input the old security code, the door creaking open slowly. "Well reguardless we need to get out before the guards catch us, if you are feeling sick maybe we should stop at Kalm...." She said looking over her shoulder, and, with a sigh, she said goodbye to the ominous ShinRa building for the second time.

Rain shook his head, "I'm fine, he replied, "It's nothing, let's keep going". And indeed, he was fine. Lately he's been doing well in restraining himself. He turned around for a moment to check their surrounding in order to see if anyone followed their tracks. After spending many years in avoiding others, the art of sneaking and tracking was like a second nature to him, and so was spotting if he was being followed. Seeing that no one has sasw them, yet, he turned back and went through the gate after Zellie. "Okay, the hard part's behind us. Where to now? It's your choice".

"Well I think we should rest at Kalm and book it to the chocobo ranch in the morning..... well lets get going! Try and keep up!" She said breaking into a sprint to the northeast.
