ShinRa company is the dominant corperation that harvests the Planets resource, Mako, and turns it into everyday electricity. In short, the ShinRa is basically an electric power company. The one in charge of ShinRa Inc. (in this current timeline) is Rufus ShinRa.
Avalanche, however, are a rebel group. It is their belief that because the ShinRa are taking away the Planet's lifesourse, the Planet will die, and it's Avalanche's main priority to save the Planet and stop the ShinRa.

yeah I read the rules a few times but didn't find it, where is the password. Sorry if it was sitting right there I don't have very good eyes, I somehow will pass things very easily.
