OOC: This is to deal with Elstan's path. At this point she doesn't know that she was just an experiment. All she was told is that she was an orphan taken in a trained by SOLDIER.
BIC:
Elstan had come out of the training room. She sighed. Something was still missing, but what? The 1st Class pushed this to the back of her mind and continued down the hallway. Her hair was in two long plaits and she was in a full leather outfit, that was of a moss green colour. SOLDIERs of other ranks acknowledged her as she past. Elstan had always kept things to herself. She had always been secretive. She walked into the canteen.
It wasn't busy, but there were a few people inside. Elstan got herself a green tea, and sat in the corner of the room, next to a window. There were some days she wished she was a normal person. She knew she was different. She could feel it within her heart. The 1st Class wasn't one for crying, but she felt a tear roll down her cheek and splash into her drink. She was so deep in her thinkings, that she didn't hear a person call her name.

Genesis was already finishing up his meal, a light carbohydrate with a soft drink, most likely orange due to the color, the fiercely burning red haired SOLDIER looked up as tension felled the room, some noticed the newest 1st Class SOLDIER Elstan, Genesis himself wasn't familiar with the girl, nor would he bother, he didn't like the thought of such an announcement being made without the public of Shinra or its SOLDIERs being informed, instead it came off topic and caused most to become off guard when around such a female.
However it took a while for those already in the room to realize they were in the presence of another SOLDIER, one employee stared for ages until Genesis met his gaze for a few seconds, then a rush of shyness over took the lad, the rest followed, hushed murmurers echoed around the canteen area as the auburn-coat gentleman swiftly stood, placed his remaining left overs into the confines of the bin, placed his tray upon the top of the bin, then without any time to waste made his way towards the exit of the area.
On his way, his eyes fell on those who watched him, waiting, as if they waited for him to kill them or praise them, for them, he was someone to be respected and aspire to be, however such a man never saw it that way at all, to his mind they were frightened, scared of such a powerful being, they couldn't even bring up an ordinary conversation without them hushing their words or ignoring questions given to them that were not orders. Genesis, ever light on his feet surprised a few that had their backs turned, one even jumped spilling his hot chocolate on another, causing that man to shout, then quickly forcing his painful vocals to hush as the perfect man strolled past.
Finally his gaze turned to the corner of the room, he saw Elstan even before he stood, she was a broken down creature like any other, those eyes spoke her entire story very easily, an uncanny prospect for such a man to have on natural terms let along Mako. Such a female presented as a respected SOLDIER, though not at the level of her superiors such as Sephiroth, Angeal or even himself, there must have been something to redeem that horrid expression of pity already smeared across her face.
He left the room silent as always, keeping his thoughts to himself, he headed towards the training room, there he could think of what was to come next, meditate and revise even on LOVELESS, the training room was more than a battle ground, but somewhere to get away and even think if necessary, Genesis used this to his advantage and even spoke to Angeal on personal notes sometimes in different holographic areas.
When Genesis left, he easily heard the loud speeches of the littered few who recited in there, one calling out Elstan's name.

"Ma'am. Elstan." Said a SOLDIER 3rd Class. Elstan snapped out of her day dreaming. "Yes? What do you want?" She sighed. "We have training with you." The operative said. Elstan ignored him and quickly left the canteen, not noticing Genesis as she left.
The 1st class leant against a wall. "I'm a monster." She whispered to herself, looking and her fingerless gloved hands. Her cat-like pupils dilated in remembrance to something. Did Angeal or Genesis know anything about her birth? Did they know why she was here. She dreaded to ask. Elstan herself was a LOVELESS fan, but she never admitted it. She sank to the floor and took her copy out and fell into the story.
An hour had passed. Elstan snapped the book shut. She knew getting answers about her past, would be like trying to get blood from a stone. She went to the comfy seating area. She truly was a monster. If ShinRa wasn't going to provide her with answers then who would? The silver haired woman sat there. Arms folded, one leg outstretched and eyes closed. What would happen now?

It had been a while since Genesis entered the training area, the environment was one of lushes green forests and pastures, rolling sleepy hills, lazy lightly clouded blue skies with wild life entering in and out of the system, all this the SOLDIER knew was an optical illusion, a figment of his imagination to where he wished he could be at this point in time, perhaps a fantasy even considering he was so far away from his goals, in actual fact, freedom was only one desire held in his heart, a phrase from LOVELESS always swept his mind to something original.
"Infinite in mystery is the gift of the Goddess We seek it thus, and take to the sky Ripples form on the water's surface The wandering soul knows no rest."
This relation not only applied to the three SOLDIERs anymore but all of Shinra's and perhaps even Gaia's inhabitants, the hundreds of thousands of lonely souls that seek their fortune in life only to be turned away by their own fates to face a different path other than the one they have chosen, the one they sacrificed for with all their heart and soul, only to be told ,"No," casting them into a pit that resides something else than the original promise of having their dream come true, it made Genesis feel sick to the pit of his stomach, an uncomfortable thought to possess in the mid-actions of the morning.
The program then changed to an environment of sickly lands, this place was unfamiliar to him, the sleepy hills he lay the side of formed into something all together tainted, coiling into bubbled ash, fire and dust, wastelands could only be the best description to describe such a place, clouded cracking thunderous skies, dust and ash under the feet to where he stood, no life to be seen but the monsters patrolling the plains of the once great Gaia, but the worst prospect of such a land that made Genesis feel even worse, the promise of a dream dashed away.
"Such a thing can not happen."
Even in a program Genesis was easily rilled up, the shattering thoughts of Sephiroth droned into his mind once more, making an obsession of the thing he needed to be to start his journey, a hero of Shinra and the people, the SOLDIER unsheathed his crimson rapier and swiftly maneuvered towards the monsters that clammered across the dusty plains, his movements were graceful, like a dance being performed to its utmost best but cruel to how easily dispatched the monsters were, a single guided slice into the head of the creature known as a CDM Grand Horn, and another upon the head of a Caesar.
Lightning fast with brilliant control, the synchronization of his hits caused glitches within the systems processing unit, considering his out burst of emotion which he never meant to happen, unfortunately hit attack had damaged a few parts of the room, once again, the picture of a dead Gaia disappeared, returning back to the dark metallic room known as the training simulation rooms, a sight slipped through his lips with a lowered lilt to his head, his rapier sheathed and a flick of his hair caused his facial expression to return to its same "old" blank self.
"When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end The goddess descends from the sky Wings of light and dark spread afar She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting"
Were the only words Genesis could conjure up, to what he had seen as a perfect Paradise, being so easily swept into a plain of nightmares was some what of a revelation, something he could not allow to happen, he would beat Sephiroth, attaining fame and glory the silver-haired warrior could not comprehend. The SOLDIER left the room, returning to the hallways in something to find or do with his free time, or at least what remained of such a time.

Elstan got a phone call. A new mission. She would be paired up with Genesis. The silver haired woman sighed and dialled his number. "Genesis Rhapsodos? SOLDIER 1st Class, Elstan Shadow. We have work to do. Meet me in the reception area and DON'T keep me waiting." She said and clicked the end call button.
Elstan sat in the reception area. Why was it that Sephiroth's friends always had to be late. She played with a ball of dark aura as she was waiting. She heard footsteps and sighed. "Late as usual. I bet you're never late for dear old Sephiroth." Elstan growled. "Come on I will bring you up to speed." She said, rather bored.

Genesis's phone went to voice mail, it was the tone of Elstan that shivered in his pocket, the fact that she was unattenuated and unassuming only made his job much harder, going on a mission with a hissy little brat would prove a challenge, he didn't feel like baby sitting at the time regardless of her position she needed to learn and recognize her betters.
He purposely took him time, walking down the corridors towards the entrance of the Shinra facility, there was a heli-pad awaiting the two SOLDIERs arrival , the entrance was by air travel which was on the 48th floor. There was Elstan, moaning about how she was waiting and even mentioned something about Sephiroth, her existence was ignored and the auburn-haired Genesis released a hushed sigh, her boredom only questioned her authority, how could a 1st class SOLDIER act in such a childish manor.
"You had best buck up, if you wish to keep your position as a SOLDIER." His glare was deathly, he didn't even have to cause a glare of Mako eyes, it was his superiority that said everything, though she was granted clearance as a 1st class, didn't give her the attitude to act like a hissy teenager. "Buck up your attitude or stay behind, I have no patients to baby sit today."
His words were firm and confident, the gentleman didn't wait for his "partner" to catch up and instead swiftly moved forwards entering the helicopters side entrance, there sat an officer with a detailed report on the situation that was given, Genesis sat down comfortably waiting for Elstan to hurry up, if she continued on like this, things would become very difficult, for her.

Elstan drew her sword in a flash. "You know not to piss me off. Remember what happened to me in the Northern Crater, and its not because of my S-cells." She said. In her opinion, Genesis was a stuck up little rich boy, she liked his attitude half the time. Red did suit him, however, she didn't want to bodyguard Mr Snobby today.
Elstan caught up with Genesis and recited part of Act IV from Loveless: "My friend, the fates are cruel There are no dreams, no honour remains The arrow has left the bow of the goddess."
With this Elstan left quietly, and waited by the door. She leant against the wall, facing the door, looking outside. A single tear escaped her left eye. "I need your help Genesis." She whispered. Elstan just wanted to know who she really was. Was she a human being, or just a monstrous beast?

Genesis never paid attention to her petty actions of "acting tough", she didn't have the skill capability nor confidence to face him one on one, she knew the out come and her pride would fall as easily as the weight on her knees. He was tired of listening to her and still waiting in the chopper he crossed his arms and legs, one over the other, releasing another hushed sigh he looked to the pilot and nodded giving him the notification of flying within five minutes.
"You had better hurry other wise I'm leaving you behind." His voice rang over the radio that had been given to him and Elstan earlier before the mission objective was to be divolged, keeping his arms crossed he shuddered in discuss of the reciting vocals of Elstan, it was terrible, he and he alone was suitable for LOVELESS's versus and no one else, he was like a child no allowing anyone but him to read the passions he so desired to obtain in the future and LOVELESS's story was one of them.
"I said hurry up." Genesis' tone this time was impacient and harsh, leaving signals of growls under his speech, his eyes kept closed and his back pressed against the comfirtable leather seats,it was the smell that kept him in one place and nothing more, the smell of the new scented leather, it was, nice, nothing more, nothing less.
