Elstan remembered the last time she came here. Wasn't a good outing. Since her. Last visit, security had been tightened. Her silver eyebrows furrowed into a glare. Her cat like pupils were naarrower than usual. She looked above her. Good ventalation shafts. With one splendid leap, the Angel of Death enetered the safts. They weren't like the shafts you see in movies. Not those ridiculas superhero sized ones. Her body was snug against the sides. Elstan moved as swiftly and as silently as a ghost. Some days she really loved her job, other times it could be a right pain in the royal backside! She looked below and saw she was on the good ol' SOLDIER floor. She quietly lowered herself down and entered the briefing room.
She looked at all the differant files that had been left behind. Mostly on her clan. The Shadow Wraiths. She heard voives. Elstan thought this wouls be a great oppertunity to bring SOLDIER to its's knees once amd for all. She sat in the Director's chair, big, heavy Gothic boots on the glossed wood table. "Good evening, gentleman." she smiled. The men pulled out their guns. Elstan sighed. "Come now there's really no need for violence... Then again it's what you ShinRa lapdogs crave for!" she laughed. She pulled out her Reaper's Kiss, a powerful handgun that tore even the most feared Summons to peices. When the men were lying in a pool of blood, Elstan walked out.
SOLDIERs had their weapons pointing at her. Elstan chuckled. A cloud of demonic skulls swirled around her. Her hands turned skeletal and her face was ripped away from its flesh, leaving an ivory coloured skull in its place. Her scythe came to life in her hands. "Well? I'm waiting... Who's gonna make the ffirst attack?" she said. Her normal musical voice had been replaced by a more demonic one. The SOLDIERs looked terrified, but stood their ground. A couple fled calling for their mummys along the way, which made Elstan laugh even more. She sighed and waited to see who her worthy opponent would be.

.:One Winged Angel:. "Ever since I was a child... I knew I was different..." Once again, he'd returned here... But the reason now was a pretty obvious one. Shin-ra had tried and succeeded to rise from it's ashes after the last time it'd fallen apart when Meteor came to almost strike. And even now, it was returning to its usage of Mako energy. True, Midgar was now rebuilt and living of the Planet's life force as it had before... But as he looked around the outskirts of the city from his perch on the Shin-ra roof, he could see that the ground seemed to be rotting away now; rather than just blackened and void of plant life.
He shook his head in mock disappointment. He'd given them a chance, he hadn't come back to finally destroy it until now. And what he saw wasn't pleasing. So now, Shin-ra would finally pay from their disrespect toward the Planet. He had learned that destroying the world itself to rebuild a new one probably wouldn't work; since he'd tried twice now. So, he'd just destroy the heart of the Planet's torture, and carefully rebuild the destruction to suit the Planet's needs.
As he was thinking this, another flash of memory met his mind... Kyrie... Last time he'd seen her, she'd been frozen in rock; with Yazoo watching nearby... It was because of him... He'd betrayed her, though he still wished he could she that she'd been the one to betray him... Now she was gone, forever maybe.... Well, he'd allow her to sleep until the Planet was finally alive again; and then he'd work out how to release her from her prison...
He shook his head, trying to dislodge the unwelcome memories that would end up distracting him. Then the large right wing spread, and he glided from the roof to the the ground on which the structure was built. He walked right in through the front doors, the Masamune held expertly in his left hand. He'd been expecting a fight, but there was no one left to destroy by the doors. Someone had already been through, making it easier for him... And he was quite certain who it would be...
He raised a gloved hand, and huge shadow canine-like creatures rose up from the ground. There were many of them, enough to entirely fill the ground floor with almost no tile showing beneath the black mass. He said softly, "Go..." And the beasts ran in every direction. Some faded into walls to travel through them to the upper floor; other merely ran up the stairs. The Nightmare's smile had no warm in it this time. He started up the stair after the last of the beasts had gone.
The lead canine, dubbed Nightlock, was racing along with about 11 others behind him. Their only thought was to kill, as Sephiroth had ordered them to do. Leave no survivors, destroy everything and everything. It was quite enjoyable for them... Until Nightlock skidded to a halt and stared at someone at the far end of the hallway. It was a woman, with long silver hair like Sephiroth. The beasts shot each other looks, and Nightlock shook his head; growling. Then they were running again, splitting off from the group. They were on top of surviving Shin-ra personnel, tearing and shredding. They were soon just about surrounding the woman, but made no move toward her. They were attacking the Shin-ra people, not this strange woman they'd never seen before. Then Nightlock bounded forward to stand before the woman fearlessly, tilting his ugly head. Was she the one? The one Sephiroth had said was on their side? She had to be.. She smelled like Sephiroth, and she was also killing Shin-ra. Nightlock made a sort of canine purring noise, reaching forward to rub his head on her shoulder. The rest of the beasts, having cleared the flood of all life, swarmed in behind the woman, sitting down and growling to each other. So long as the woman didn't raise an attack against them, they wouldn't attack her back.
Meanwhile, Sephiroth had reached the upper floor; skipping the 40 or so which his beasts were already on. He heard a voice growl in the back of his mind, reporting that they'd found the woman. He smiled coldly again, and made his way toward the SOLDIER floor.

I kept my secrets away from you Sephiroth...
Elstan looked at the dogs. She sighed... No doubt her 'father' was here. Someone walked up to her. Her permanent grin looked wider. She laughed. "Do you think you can take on me? Azriel... Well I will let you dice with Death." she said. More SOLDIERs walked up. Elstan clicked her fingers and the dogs devoured the SOLDIERs leaving Elstan and the top 1st Class in a stand off. Elstan swung her sword. Her wing bounced slightly as she circled her enemy. She stared at him. Reading him. She sighed. The man took a swing at her but chocked out. Elstan's blade had collided with his stomach. Blood poured from his mouth. "Enjoy a life in hell.." Elstan whispered in his ear. Elstan pulled her blade out. The 1st class held his stomach... "You and Sephiroth will not win..." he spluttered out. Elstan laughed. The man fell to the floor and died.
Now you shall know me from my demonic form...
Elstan sensed Sephiroth was close. She snapped her fingers and the cloud formed and she changed back. She had finished making her mark on the wall and leaving her usual trademark feather behind. "Always late... I have it... You were wrong before. Jenova didn't return." she said. She threw a canister up in the air and caught it again. She repeated this like the canister was a tennis ball. "Well... Surely you're not here to do a little sight seeing." she smiled. She was happy to see him. "You have to accept it... I'm the only biological child youll ever come close to. Well onto business. My clan is eager to meet you." she said. She walked off and patted Sephiroth's shoulder with as much affection as she could.

.:One Winged Angel:. "Ever since I was a child... I knew I was different..." He watched unimpressed from the stairwell as she brought down the SOLDIER, an drolled his eyes slightly as she left some mark on the wall. "Leaving evidence is never smart..." he said softly, raising his hand again. The canines fell out of their formation, and came up to stand near the Nightmare and the female. "They will come with us. They are a sort of small army; and I will bring more as I see fit." He rested his hand very briefly on Nightlock's head. "Well done, Commander." The canine panted slightly, looking from the female to Sephiroth in an almost bored way.
Sephiroth turned away from Elstan at her words. "Jenova did return. I brought her back myself, for a price. But she vanished a short while later, and I haven't seen her since." He shrugged. "She's probably resting somewhere until she gets her full strength back. And no, I have nothing to see here, except for destruction. I'm here to bring Shin-ra down for good."
At her next words, a hard look entered the intense eyes. "I've told you before, you are not my biological child. You are a remnant, just like your love; Yazoo. And I have no desire for a child; it would only slow me down." He crossed his arms and glared at her, and a threatening growl rippled around the mass of shadowy canines. "I have no interest in this 'clan' of yours. I have my own business to handle here. Give me one good reason why I should bother with meeting your friends..."
Rather irritably, he brushed a gloved hand over the shoulder plate Elstan had touched, wiping off the smear of blood she'd left. She had touched him so casually, like she felt she had a right to make contact with him. No one touched him and got away with it. She was an arrogant fool, but he'd ignore that for now. After all, having her around would only make him have to use less effort in finishing the job he'd come to do.

This secret is my curse also my gift...
Elstan laughed. "I leave this symbol for a reason... So that ShinRa know that we will strike again... Now if youre not her for any reason get the hell outta my way I have a job to do." she said. Sephiroth had no idea about Elstan's demonic form. It was just as well. She didn't want him to know. She looked at the hounds and one in particular walked up to her. Elstan cocked her head. The hound purred slightly. "Good Raven's Wing..." Elstan whispered. Elstan glared at her so called creator. "Oh by the way... I can live without Yazoo for a while." she said. She looked out of the window. Turks were surrounding the building. At last a proper challenge. "I'd turn away if I were you... You may not like what I become." she warned Sephiroth.
My secret? I am the Grim Reaper...
The cloud of demonic skulls swirled around her. Skin ripped from the bone. Robes replacing her usual attire. Scythe in her skeletal hands. Her wing erupted from her shoulder. She turned to Sephiroth. "I suggest you run." her demonic voice uttered. She broke the window without even making contact with it. Helicopters roared. A pentagram formed in the air. One point of the star flashed... Fire. The helicopters caught fire and exploded. Elstan clicked her fingers. her scythe glowed. Some sort of spirits erupted from the raven's skull on the top of her weapon. An army... They swept out the Turks effortlessly. "After you." Elstan said to Sephiroth.
