--PREVIOUS WORLD--
Oh bloody hell this is NOT good! I repeat, NOT GOOD!
Sisi swore colorfully under her breath as she was cornered by yet another dozen of open barrel holes pointing at her. Matching glowing helmets that hid their faces, it was like looking at a swarm of cyber humans.. and that's what made them so strong. She had burned down the dozen prior to this, but it was like there was no ending to the amounts coming.
She heard another ones of her mates cry out, Blaze, and then a choked strangle with a gunshot before she heard him fall to the ground with a dull thud. She bared her teeth in response, she knew he was dead, and she knew their leader was either captured or cold stone dead. Knowing Dearthian, probably the latter.
But her show of defiance was met with another blade in her stomach, and she doubled over, blood coming to well up in her mouth. She shut her eyes as she backed up, she knew what was going to happen. Dearthian wasn't interested in playing with her anymore. She was going to die.
Die.
Those bloody portals hadn't appeared in years, and she was sure her father by now had finally lost interest in her, else it she would not ahve been here anymore. No, this was the end. And she was not going out without a fight. It would take more then her own blood, sweat and tears before she'd go down that hellhole.
Her arms spread, and inferno called up that burned the clothes straight of the first line of soldiers, leaving searing blister. But through that inferno zinged bullets. Bullets aimed for her already beaten body.
But before one could hit her skull, it's course changed to fly over her head.
No the bullet did not move, she did. Her body had vanished into the ground, and the last the soldiers saw was a black hole closing up with a cracking pop.
--CURRENT FFVII WORLD--
Air was sucked into her lungs as coldness of it blast across her face, surrounding her body. Cold air that that suddenly such a contrast to the heat of her inferno she had just a split second before.
"What the.." her mouth opened, but barely any sound came out before she realized
a) She was floating in mid air b) She was viewing a city far below her c) .. said city was coming in at a neck breaking speed!
The last she could do was shield her face with her arms as she slammed against the ground with neck breaking speed, the wind being fully knocked out of her and her green eyes widening in shock and horror. Then the world went black.
When she awoke again, she instantly was was confronted with immense pain, pain everywhere in her body. But even through the pain she knew one thing; pain meant it was still there, and it still had sensation. Pain meant she could recover. Had she felt barely no pain she would have been panicking by now. She blinked with her eyes, trying to get her blurry vision back to sharp again, and winced when she saw her own arm at an odd angle. Out of the socket, again. That was going to be unpleasant later on.
She shivered and tried to mute out the pain, placing her other leather clad hand on the stone floor beneath her and trying to push herself up, but quickly came down again. She opted to roll onto her side instead there, and in her half blurry vision she could see silhouettes surrounding her, a group of people had surrounded her. She heard their voices, vaguely.
".. she fell from the sky! I saw it!"
"She seems to be awake, even after such a fall. Maybe she's SOLDIER. I never knew they took women in SOLDIER.."
Her brain was too occupied processing pain at the moment to process what she heard. She eventually coughed again, more blood flowing from her mouth.
She needed medical attention, and rather sooner then later.
Where in the bloody world had all these people come from?!
[[[So how is that? o.o]]

Another day, nothing seemed to have changed, really. Looking after children wasn't much of a struggle anyway, especially when it came to poor, unfortunate orphans, how could she not? At least it made her happy to bring such joy to children.
"Aya, be careful, okay? Don't run around on your leg so much, it still needs time to recover," a rather soft yet concerned voice spoke as a pair of silver eyes watched children playing in the playground of the Edge Children's Home. Kyrie smiled softly as the little girl she was concerned about finally stopped to play in the sandpit, that was relieving.
She wasn't wearing her usual attire, just a pair of thigh length grey denim shorts, a white and silver strapless handkerchief dress, but with the front hem cut so her shorts and stomach could be seen, followed by flat grey ankle boots with a white trim and laces. Simple, yet elegant. It was then a child's arms wrapped around her waist, Kyrie looked down lightly to see a young boy hugging her, he seemed a little shy about something.
"Josh, is something wrong?" she asked the little mute boy, who merely nodded before looking over at a group of kids playing a game with their toys, Kyrie's smile softened "I understand... you want to play with them?" the little boy nodded, a chuckle escaped her as she took his hand gently and began walking towards the children, he followed quietly.
"Children? Would it be alright if Josh played your game with you?" she asked nicely, not surprised that the children welcomed the little boy to play with open arms, despite his shyness, he smiled and immediately let go of Kyrie's hand, running over to join the game. She had always admired the innocence and happiness these children showed.
However, before she was able to do anything else, something was heard in the distance. Kyrie immediately jolted, believing something bad was about to happen, had another monster showed itself? She looked back at the other carers, asking that they stay with the children before running off, following where the other citizens ran. She panted slightly, it was taking quite a whille to get there, so she assumed it was somewhere with Midgar, then again, Edge was only outside it, and whatever that sound was, it must've had some impact!
By the time Kyrie reached a crowd of gathering people, she coughed and spluttered, leaning forward to rest her hands on her knees as she caught her breath. With a deep breath, she pushed past the crowds of people, politely asking them to stand aside, but by the time she reached the centre, she was shocked at what she saw. It wasn't a monster, but a young woman, she appeared quite dazed and confused, and the citizens didn't seem to be helping either.
"Alright! Everyone please stand back, give her some air, you don't all have to be here, so please return back to your families and homes, please!" she spoke sternly yet politely, as curious as they were, she understood that, but if they couldn't help, they needn't be here. Kyrie sighed as she then went over to the red haired woman, carefully kneeling by her side.
"Excuse me?" she first tried interacting with her, hoping she wasn't too dazed to understand, she also needed to see if she could understand her language "can you understand me?" to speak to a patient was mostly required just to keep them from blacking out.
"Do you have a name?" she asked slowly yet clearly, looking over at the young woman, trying to determine the problem, it was obvious she was in pain, but Kyrie needed to know where just so she didn't do anything wrong or to make matters worst "where does it hurt? Don't be afraid, I can help you, just tell me where it hurts..."
Guess it wasn't just another day after all.

She did hazily hear a voice out there, calling to her, and she forced herself onto her back so she could try to focus easier, trying to will out the pain so she could at least see.
"I.." She croaked, but it was hard to get any sound past her her lips where the blood was starting to crust in the corners. Her eyes though, when they opened to looked up at the silvery white silhouette that hunched over her, were a gentle green. Nothing like the harshly glowing mako eyes many SOLDIERS carried. [If I'm wrong do correct me]
Now that she lied on her back it was clear to see where her wounds were. She was stabbed in three places, her thigh and a more shallow cut up her side where the leather was cut and deepened into flesh. Finally was the deep cut in her stomach, the cause of the blood leaking down her throat. Her hip held a bullet wound, and her left arm was dislocated. She had a nasty looking scrape up the right side of her face, where she had hit the rough asphalt. Her leather bodysuit had kept most of her body from damaging though.
Breathing laboredly she did not manage to get a word past her lips, but her eyes said more then enough.
..help me..

A worried expression plastered the pale face of Kyrie, her silver eyes scanned the wounds on the woman's body, in a more sensitive sense, Kyrie disliked nothing more than seeing others in pain, she couldn't stand the sight, but she did everything she could to help, and right now, this woman needed it more than anything.
"Everything's going to be alright," she soothed, brushing some of the woman's hair out of her face, the crystal stone encrusted in the top right corner of her forehead glow a light grey as Kyrie hovered her hands over the woman's wounds, feeling a burning sensation shoot up her arms and into the crystal, causing a slight jolt in Kyrie's mind, she groaned softly as she placed one hand over it.
Her wounds were great and causing her a lot of pain, they were nothing she couldn't fix, however, gazing upon her shoulder and seeing it in an odd direction, Kyrie knew that would be hard to fix. Understanding that the woman was unable to speak, clearly it must've caused her pain to do so. "Shh, shh... it's alright, you don't have to talk, just keep listening to me, give me signs that you're still with me..." she soothed, trying not to worry the woman by sounding scared.
She had dealt with such incidents such as this one before, though she had no idea where this woman came from, perhaps she was attacked and left here? With a calm breath, Kyrie hovered her hands over the wounds once more, this time ignoring the countless jolts in her crystal. She breathed calmly once more as a gentle wind began to blow, then suddenly, emerald green leaves seemed to float down upon the woman.
The glittering leaves soon dissolves into the bloody wounds and very slowly, the wounds began to close up, almost as if an invisible thread was stitching them back up, a trail of silver flashed over the womans skin where scars should now be, but once the flash faded, her beautiful skin remained without the scars that should've been there. "There... that's one problem solved," she smiled warmly, hoping that the Healing Winds gave this woman some strenght, if not, she'd help her along.
She made note that the woman's left shoulder was the one that was dislocated. Alright, she knew what to do here. She ripped a large strip from her dress, though it didn't make much difference to the dresses style, it was a handkerchief hemmed one after all. Grabbing the piece of white material, she then began to make a sling before lifting the woman up slightly, keeping her up with Kyrie's own knees.
The pale woman then placed the sling over the woman's neck, placing her injured arm within it carefully, she then went onto making a cravat. Now what she needed was some sort of ice pack to go with it, Kyrie sighed, it looks like there was more of her dress to be ripped.
She tore another part before gently waving her hand over it, her eyes turning an icey blue for a split second as shards of ice fell into the cloth, she then tied it up into a sack and carefully placed it within the sling securely to soothe it. Now all she needed to do was get this woman somewhere safe, she didn't look too heavy... so maybe she could carry her?
"Alright, come on," she murmured, soon getting in front of the woman, grabbing her waist from behind as she managed to get her on her back, placing the woman's good arm around her neck and held onto her legs, Kyrie leaned forward so the woman didn't fall off, making sure her back didn't rub against her bad arm.
What a day...

It did somehow strangely make her feel better when she felt the womans hands gently trace over her. Her vision was finally starting to clear up a bit when the light upon the woman brow started to glow up, and her eyes started to grow wide at seeing it. The light was so bright to her that the womans features seemed shadowed by it.
Is she.. Faery..?
They were the legendary folk of Ireland, the tales her mother had told her as a child. The magical folk that were more powerful then any human being, the Fae Folk. Their Queen was recognized by a shining star upon her brow that glittered brightly in the moonlight.
The vision seemed to have cleared her up though, and she could finally understand what the woman was saying to her. She nodded her head mutely at her command, she'd rather not speak, her voice was still raw.
Then it happened, the woman placed her hands upon her wounds, and she suddenly could almost smell her homeland. A small content smile came to her face as the small emerald leaves surrounded her like a spring storm, melting into her wounds, melting the pain away like it was never there.
Somewhere, she recalled being able to do the same thing. Healing. The combination of the leaves, the spring smell and the healing brought a small tear to her eye on her smiling face, she had not allowed herself to think on her homeland for a long time.
The healing winds had given her more strength, her eyes were clearing up, and she was able to clearly see now.
"Thank.. you.." she whispered softly, her voice still raw.
She allowed the woman to work as she put her painful arm in a sling. Ah yes.. her arm.. she had nearly forgotten about her arm but was rudely reminded of it as the woman tried to put it in a sling, wincing softly as it was moved. The ice on there seemed to numb it though, and she nodded gratefully.
She was surprised as the woman hoisted her upon her back, she had not expected her to be able to lift her. She was about to try and speak up, that she could try to walk on her own feet when a man from the crowd grabbed the silver haired woman's arm.
".. she.. she fell from the sky with such a speed she aught to be dead! I saw it with my own eyes! She might be just like those calamities!" the man said urgently, trying to hold her back.
Then the whispering ensued.
Alien

Kyrie grunted softly as she carried the woman on her back, it wasn't that the woman was heavy, she just never really carried people on her back. A soft smile formed on Kyrie's thin pinkish lips as the woman said her thanks, she just shook her head, not really expecting a thank you. "It's fine, really," she spoke gently, moving the woman up a little so she didn't slip down.
The gentle breeze blew, blowing Kyrie's pearl white yet silver streaked hair slightly, she hoped it didn't go in the woman's face. Just as she was about to speak again, she felt something grab her arm, at first she thought it was the woman, but then she heard a male's voice speak to her.
".. She.. she fell from the sky with such a speed she aught to be dead! I saw it with my own eyes! She might be just like those calamities!"
Kyrie's eyes widened slightly at this... fallen... from the sky? She stopped for a moment, trying to make sense out of this... no, if this woman was, surely she wouldn't have been in the state she was in back then, anyone could fall from the sky, for all she knew, the woman could've been fighting one of those Dragons, she had always had trouble with them, either that or she fell from an airship. Why did people always have to be so paranoi--!
Just then, Kyrie just registered what the man had called the woman. A calamity... just like...
Jenova.
Kyrie shot the man an angry look, her once silver eyes and streaks burst into a flame red. That name boiled her blood every time she heard it, the owner of that name had caused so many people she so dearly loved such pain, no one knew of this, but for someone to accuse another of being such a monster... that was disrespectful.
Before her anger got the best of her, the redness slowly faded back into silver. Almost as if ignoring the man's comment, she held her head high and continued to walk. "Have proof before you make such accusations, sir," she murmured softly, continuing to carry the woman away from the crowds of muttering people.
She could heard what they were saying, it took a lot for her not to take it to her, despite it not being about her, but still... she wasn't entirely human, they had as much right to call her an alien instead of this woman...
"Pay no mind to them," she spoke calmly to the woman as she walked through crowds, heading back towards Edge to get this woman away from staring eyes "they're still a bit paranoid due to an incident that happened two years back... but that's another story for another time..."

She looked at the man from the corner of her eye, and she suddenly paled. That man had seen her.. hell all thee people had seen her crash down like bloody meteor! Her jaw tightened and her hand on Kyries shoulder tightened in response.
Yet she kept very silent during the ordeal, keeping her face averted. She didn't want them to read the discomfort on her face.
What she had not expected is that her carrier's hair would suddenly turn redder then even her own hair! She gasped and widened her eyes, before relaxing when it turned back to silvery white.
Yet it did nothing to her consciousness. Calamity? She bit her lip with nervousness. What this woman that saved her did not know is that they were right.. she did fall from the sky, literally, she wasn't from here. But how could she tell this woman having seen her reaction. She decided to stay uncomfortably silent and simply nodded.
Once they walked on, and the crowd that had agthered around them disappeared she softly spoke up.
"I think.. I think my legs are fine, I should try to walk.."She said softly, she needed something to drink, her mouth was dry and her voice still raw.

Kyrie averted her gaze as she felt the woman grip her shoulder lightly, now... she wasn't naive, but this woman was either scared for two reasons, the first reason being that she was a little dazed and these people weren't really helping the situation... or... could they really be right? Had she fallen from the sky?
She just sighed and shook her head, even if she had... surely she was not a threat, Kyrie wouldn't allow that, and if she was all powerful like Jenova, no amount of fall could've harmed her.
"Hm?" she turned her head to look at the woman as she spoke, she wanted to walk on her own? Was she sure she could? "Uhm... alright, if you're sure," she said gently, lowering and letting the woman get down. She turned around, holding her hands out just in case the woman stumbled, it seemed okay, so Kyrie placed her hand on the woman's back and began to walk.
"I'll take you to where my sanctuary... it's for children, but you can eat and rest there until you've recovered..." she smiled softly before looking ahead, the children would be safe, just as long as she was there "I'm sure my children will like you..."

Her knees were wobbly at best when she tried to stand on her own legs, but she was able to keep her own weight up. She gave Kyrie a small smile, even though she looked pale. She remembered she had always been the one who healed others, it felt good now that she was being healed by someone else. Now she knew what it felt like.
Placing her hand on Kyrie's shoulder she used the white haired woman to balance herself. And slowly but surely she walked alongside of Kyrie, even though she was a bit unstable.
"That was some amazing healing there, I thought I was done for when I landed there. Again, thank you.." She said warmly, or as good as she could with her throat still raw.
Her face lit up a bit at the mention of children, her green eyes keen with a small smile on her lips. She loved children, just being around them lifted her spirits. Maybe she could do something back for Kyrie once she was fully on her feet again. She could imagine with kids around one could always use a helping hand.
"That'll be fine, I love kids" She said softly, she had been pregnant once but lost her child prematurely. Still it had not dampened her love of kids.

Kyrie smiled lightly as the woman used her shoulder for balance, she looked over beside her at the woman, nodding gently. "It surprises even me," she murmured, looking ahead of her "I've not long gone through an odd change... so it feels strange... but, ahehe, I guess that's a story for another time..."
She decided not to question how the woman got here, knowing it was none of her business anyway, so she just kept quiet, she seemed kind, so hopefully her children would not be harmed, like hell would they! Kyrie was much like a lioness when it came to children, she protected them with her life, not daring to let anyone hurt them, those who did would suffer greatly, she's make sure of it.
"The children are very good and well-behaved, sadly none of them have parents, due to a disease that went around some time ago, it affected more children than adults... children have lost their parents due to it, but eventually the children were cured..." Kyrie sighed, looking away slightly as sad yet thoughtful expression appeared on her genle features "sadly... some of the children have become deaf, blind and limbless because of it before they were cured... so... with the help of others, we made an orphanage as I took it upon myself to take care of them... somewhat like I was... their mother..."
A soft chuckle escaped her then, she had always loved the idea of being a mother, of course she would want ones of her own, but to be looked up to as one, it made her happy. Children, aside from another, they were what she lived for, she wanted to help them and give them the chance to be happy. The children... always made her feel like she had a family.
"We'll be there shortly, you can rest soon..."

Sisi nodded slowly and walked along slowly with Kyrie, she was starting to get a bit worn down but if it wasn't far anymore she'd make it. Her leather clad hand squeezed gently on Kyrie's shoulder, an unspoken show of gratitude. Her green eyes locked onto the womans silver ones. She had never seen someone like her before, with such eyes like flowing silver. It was stunningly beautiful really, even though she stuck out like a sore thumb in the crowd. Perhaps that's why Sisi already liked her, she stuck out like a sore thumb too.
"They were right.. I did come falling from the sky, but I mean no harm. I'll explain everything and where I'm from once we get to your haven and I have somewhere to sit. It's a long story."
She sighed softly, her stomach giving a small rumble. Yes, indeed food was a good idea. She blushed slightly and blinked as she rubbed her stomach.
"You've been more then kind to me and I appreciate that, the least I can do is being honest with you."

Hearing the woman speak, Kyrie did not react, she just silently nodded, more focussed on reaching their destination. "I see..." she said quietly, not really wanting others around them to here "...well, I'm from this world, but my race varies it seems... still, you may speak to me when there is less people around, I would like to get back to my children..."
She didn't sound rude, or intend to at least, it was getting around dinner time and had a lot of food to prepare, already she could hear the woman's stomach growling, a soft smile appeared on her lips, well, hopefully after a meal prepared by Kyrie would soon fill the empty spot, if not more.
As soon as Kyrie heard laughter, she knew she was close to the Edge Children's Sanctuary. A smile soon appeared on her lips as she saw children playing in the front yard, on swings and such.
As soon as one girl saw her and giggled happily as she ran towards her, other children soon began to follow as Kyrie walked passed the gates, allowing the woman to come in. "Miss Kyrie! You're back!" some of them said in unison whilst others asked her "what was that big boom? Was there a monster? Did you fight it?"
Kyrie just as she patted the young girl's head before picking her up. "Don't worry children, everything's fine..." they could see their stares upon the woman, which reminded her, she didn't even know her name... Kyrie merely smiled "don't be afraid, she's a friend... everything's fine," she did her best to reassure them, after all, not every child would trust a complete stranger, her children were smart little ones.
"Anyway, our guest is tired and hungry, I think it's about time I made dinner now, come along children," she smiled, her words were soon followed by cheers as the kids hurried inside. She then turned to the woman with a smile, the little girl she was carrying hid behind her teddy bear shyly "come on in, you should sit and put your feet up, I'll make dinner for everyone."
When she began walking inside, she continued talking. "This is built up of three floors, the lower floor contains the dining room, kitchen, living room, office, and common room, whereas the top two floors contain the children's rooms, along with my own and the guest rooms..." when she got inside, she put the little girl down who skipped into the living room to sit and watch TV with the other kids.
"The rooms are nicely done, I try to teach the children to keep their rooms tidy, there isn't really staff, just occasional helpers every now and then, so I'm left to clean up after the kids, they're responsible, so I don't have to go to room to room just to see if they're alright..." she smiled, walking after the little girl, she then offered a comfy chair to the woman "just sit down and put your feet up, when dinner's ready I will call for everyone."
With a light nod, she soon left the woman to it, she guessed she'd have to know of her name a little later, she didn't mind. So, walking into the kitchen, Kyrie knew she had yet another job to do, this one being the most hardest one of the day. For the love of Ifrit...
Ah, well. She didn't mind much, she loved her children, she'd do anything to make them happy. Right, so... some of the children were vegetarian, so she'd be sure to make something suitable for what she was going to make. A delicious roast dinner, just enough to fill their stomachs, hopefully.
Grabbing the simple white apron and putting it on, Kyrie soon got to work, she required no help, this was something she wanted and liked to do.

Sisi was almost taken back by how her declaration barely seemed to stir the woman beside her, remembering how she had reacted when those other people had called her a calamity. But, she wasn't one to see in a gifted horse's mouth, she she followed the white haired woman silently to her home. She couldn't help but smile when she saw the amounts of children file out to greet the woman beside her, some of them hiding behind her as soon as they saw the red haired woman beside her.. others were bold enough to stare at her face on. She grinned and winked at one of them, who squeaked and fled. She laughed, for the first time in a long time. She immediately seemed to live up as soon as they went through the front door and she was greeted by yet more children.
According to Kyries words the place was huge and she was actually in awe that the woman did this all by herself "You mean to say you clean this place all by yourself? I mean the place needs dusting and cleaning every now and then, specially with some many children around" A child couldn't be expected to do such things, sure chores were fine but most didn't have the precision for good cleaning until they hit at least 10 years old. And she saw a lot of kids around, and a lot of them were under that age.
She blushed slightly when she finally sat down, and felt her muscles relaxing. The children were hiding behind doors and furniture while peeking at her, but otherwise keeping a safe distance. Smart kids, she thought. One could never be too hesitant about strangers. Specially one dressed completely in battle gear and leather from head to toe. She looked down at her leather suit, and noted a few tears and cuts here and there from where her stab wounds had been, and from where she had impacted on the ground. She'd have to get that repaired sooner or later.
It didn't take long though before she started to feel rather guilty. It was madness to cook for all these kids on your own, and she felt well enough to stand. Maybe she could help Kyrie around with dinner, she'd love to do something back for what Kyrie did for her back then.
Softly stepping into the kitchen she got up beside Kyrie.
"I can't sit around doing nothing while you're cooking up a meal for the size of a small army! Is there anything I can do? I'd feel better helping you around after what you did for me back there" She said warmly, a smile on her lips.
She suddenly blinked, as if she remembered something. She opened her mouth and blushed a bit.
"Oh forgive my rudeness, I have not even told you my name! It's Sisilaya Vulmecura, most call me Sisi though." She said, scratching her head while giving a small grin. Goodness, where were her manners these days.

Already Kyrie had gotten started, a leg of lamb, a beef joint and medium sized chicken had been prepared and placed into the oven, seasoned and such. She was practically rushing around the kitchen, quite gracefully at that, it was a large kitchen so she had enough room to move. Kyrie then tied her hair up as she looked in the fridge and cupboards for various vegetables, the children here always knew they couldn't leave the table without at least finishing one of their veggies.
That was one thing she didn't like, wasted food, she'd always remind the children how fortunate they were, but if they were full, she wouldn't force them. She almost jumped however as the woman suddenly arrived in the kitchen, but it didn't stop Kyrie from taking out various vegatable and chopping them up, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, you name it. Peas and sweetcorn were already boiling in a pot, next thing she had to do is do the same with the three other vegatables joined.
"Whew..." she sighed as she began to peel the potatoes, she thought now would a good time to speak to the red-haired woman. A light chuckle escaped her as she mentioned about the small army. "It's fine, really... twenty children really don't seem all that hard to look after, but recently five more have been added to the family..." she stopped as she looked down in mid-peel...
"It's sad, really... I've already given some of them homes with wonderful families, others don't want to leave, whereas I... I just find it hard to let them go," she sighed, continuing to peel, soon that warm smile of hers returned "but, no worries, I see them every so often..." she chuckled before taking out a dish, placed the potatoes in oil before placing them in the oven also.
Once the woman asked if she could help, Kyrie hadn't realised that she had almost everything covered. She scratched the back of her head nervously for a while, but then an idea struck her. "I guess there is one thing you could help with," she smiled, walking over to a cupboard to pull out some nuts and grains, placing them on the counter "do you know how to make nut roast, some of the children here are vegetarian and they love this with their meals when I make roast dinners, do you mind making it, I just need to go and lay the table."
With a smile, Kyrie grabbed the hamper that contained knives, forks and spoons, followed by bread rolls before walking into the dining room which was off limits to the children right now, as was the kitchen. The table was long with thirty chairs, one chair which was right at the front was where Kyrie sat to keep an eye on everyone, far opposite that chair was another one similar. A fine red cloth covered the whole of the tablle, it was nothing fancy, there was lights on the walls, the chairs were comfy, not luxury, but it'd do.
She began placing the baskets of breadrolls along the table along with the spoons, knives and forks in the appropriate order. With another sigh, one of slight exhaustion, she picked up the empty hamper and walked back into the kitchen, hopefully Sisilaya was doing alright.
When she walked back in, she knew there was something she had to do now. She simply took out a jar of already made soup from the cupboards, but it was cold so she needed to heat it up. Pouring some into a pot, she waited five minutes for it to heat up before placing it into a bowl which soon went onto a tray with a spoon and soft bread.
"I just need to take this up to one of the children, she's very ill... feel free to come up when you're done, don't worry about the food, it'll take a while until it's ready, thank you, Sisilaya..." she smiled, preferring to call the woman by her full name, not that she was formal, such a beautiful name deserved to be said fully so it's beauty could uttered with each syllable.
As Kyrie walked upstairs, she was joined by a young boy who obviously knew where she was going. "Coming to see your sister?" she asked, smiling. The boy was a mute, so he just nodded, holding onto the hem of her dress, Kyrie simply giggled softly as she walked down the halls, she looked over at the boy who opened the door for her considering her hands were full, that was lucky.
"Thank you, dear..." she smiled before walking into the dimly lit room, she came to a bed where a little girl was resting, but was not entirely asleep, though she may have appeared to be, the truth was she was ill, her limbs were weak, just like another boy's here.
"Ayla... shall we try to eat again today?" she smiled, carefully sitting on the bed placing the tray on the girl's lap, Ayla nodded slowly as she looked at the chicken soup, her stomach growling slightly. Kyrie understood how hungry the girl must've been, she couldn't eat for a few days, she wanted to, but it was physically impossible.
With a smile, Kyrie picked up the spoon and scooped up some soup, slowly placing her hand under it so she'd catch the burning drops, soft murmurs of encouragement were uttered. "There we go..." she smiled as the girl blew on the soup to cool it and gulped it down, Kyrie smiled "good girl... and again..." she continued to do this, often letting the girl have some of the soft bread and a drink every now and then.
"Very good, Ayla... just a few more," she smiled, proceeding to feed the girl as her brother sat watching, smiling.
As sad as it was to look after such unable children, Kyrie found it rewarding to give happiness to such innocent lives.

Sisi was afraid she had no idea how to make a nutroast. But Kyrie was so busy busling around she had gone out of the kitchen before she could properly ask how to even make it. Looking at the nuts she placed her hands on her hips, she had not properly cooked in a long time. Time to properly prepare food was scarce in war, and mostly they had just eaten the ingredients raw, or simply boiled them if they could not be eaten raw. Butter was so hard to come by that it was usually a feast if they managed to get it, and they would celebrate with fried meat with eggs.
Yet now she had all the ingredients and time in the world and she had no idea how to prepare them, talking about irony! She sighed and wracked her brain, before she smirked and looked behind her. An older girl had been watching her since she entered the kitchen, hiding beside the door opening and peeking in every now and then. She smiled, the girl was one of the older ones, probably 12 or 13. She'd probably be able to help her.
"Hello there young woman" She said kindly, a smile on her face
"I have a bit of a dilemma here. Kyrie asked me how to make nutroast, but I'm afraid I have never heard of the thing before! Do you by any chance know how to make it?"
The girl blinked at her for a moment, contemplating if she should answer the woman or not, before she finally hesitantly stepped into the kitchen and moved towards the tall red haired woman, nodding slowly.
Soon enough, the ingredients were placed up on the table, and Sisi was busy crushing the nuts in a towel with the side of a cooking knife. The girl showed to be an excellent help, and soon enough the vegetables were frying in a pan with some stock. After the nuts were added with the breadcrumbs and seasoning like the girl told her to, she was shaping the mixture into a loaf before placing it in the oven.
She grinned and she and the girl high-fived at a job well done. The kid had quickly warmed up to her.
After washing her hands and putting her gloves back on (habit she had never been able to get rid of) she walked up the stairs to tell Kyrie she was done, but as soon as she entered the room her face fell when she saw the severely ill girl. Her eyebrows drew in worry as she waited by the door silently till the white haired woman was done.
She realized how much these children needed her care, they'd be lost without her.
