"Just one more spoonful, take your time," Kyrie murmured softly as she waited with her other hand under the spoon, the young girl, no older than seven looked tiredly at the spoon, Kyrie knew she'd have to put her back to sleep soon, but all in due time, her silver eyes softened as she looked at the girl, knowing she'd do the right thing, but at the same time didn't want to rush her.Ayla took her time, swallowing her saliva in her dry throat, she coughed some as she took her glass and took a sip of her drink before turning to the last spoonful, slowly opening her mouth as she let Kyrie tip the soup into her mouth, with a slightly struggled gulp, she managed to consume it. Kyrie smiled softly as she stroked the little's girls cheek. "There's a good girl... I'm so proud of you..." she smiled before getting up off the bed and setting the girl back down in a laying position before placing the tray on the side table.
Looking over at the windows with curtains covering them, she could faintly hear rain beating against the glass, a smile spread across her pale pink lips. "Try to get some rest, alright?" she murmured, sitting back down to give the girl her doll, she then turned to a music box and lifted the lid up, a pretty melody began to play. Kyrie was one of those people who could sing, but only chose to sing at certain times, she used her voice to ease others, never to show off like most would.
Besides, she mainly used it to make her children sleep, and she would always sing the same song. She gently held Ayla in her arms, cradling her as she snuggled into Kyrie's bosom and listened to her soft heartbeat.
"Little child, be not afraid, the rain pounds harsh against the glass, like an unwanted stranger, there is no danger, I am here tonight,"
"Little child, be not afraid, though thunder explodes, and lightning flash, illuminates your tearstained face, I am here tonight,"
She continued to sing, noticing tha Ayla was getting drowsy, yet she remained holding onto Kyrie much like a child would with their mother, the very warmth that caressed her heart caused her sing more emotionally.
"And someday you'll know, that nature is so, this same rain that draws you near me, falls on rivers and land, and forests and sand, makes the beautiful world that you see, in the morning,"
"Little child, be not afraid, the storm clouds mask your beloved moon, and its candlelight beams, still keep pleasant dreams, I am here tonight,"
"Little child, be not afraid, the wind makes creatures of our trees, and the branches to hands, they're not real, understand, and I am here tonight,"
"And someday you'll know, that nature is so, this same rain that draws you near me, falls on rivers and land, and forest and sand, makes the beautiful world that you see, in the morning,"
Her voice seemed to grow a little sad each and every time she reached the next part of the song, it always reminded her of her beloved father, but the happiness he had brought her and the lessons she had learned from him always stayed with her, she missed him dearly... so very much...
"For you know, once even I, was a little child, and I was afraid, but a gentle someone always came, to dry all my tears, trade sweet sleep the fears, and to give a kiss goodnight,"
"Well, now I am grown, and these years have shown, rain's a part of how life goes, but it's dark and it's late, so I'll hold you and wait, 'til your frightened eyes do close,"
Already Ayla had fallen asleep in Kyrie's arms, but she still remained holding her like a fragile doll, oh how she adored children... she held the girl close as she snored very lightly...
"And I hope that you'll know, that nature is so, this same rain that draws you near me, falls on rivers and land, and forests and sand, makes the beautiful world that you see, in the morning,"
"Everything's fine in the morning, the rain will be gone in the morning, but I'll still be here in the morning..."
As the music box stopped, Kyrie smiled softly as she kissed the top of the girl's head, she carefully got up and layed the girl back down, tucking her in all snug and placing her doll in her arms before kissing Ayla's forehead. "Sweet dreams, dear angel..." she whispered, gazing at her with a mother's love in her eyes.
With a smile, she picked up the tray, looking back as the little boy gave his twin sister a kiss before climbing off the bed and following Kyrie.Once she walked out, she was surprised to see Sisilaya standing outside, almost like she was waiting, but Kyrie wasn't embarrassed, she simply chuckled. "Did you manage alright with making the nut roast?" she asked, watching as the little boy closed the door quietly, Kyrie smiled.
Despite the smile, sadness was easily seen in her eyes, but before she could let the little boy see, she looked away and continued walking down the halls, she had to remain strong for her children...
"Humm, Josh, sweetie... gather the other children, dinner should be done by now, alright?" she smiled, his face soon lit up at this and ran on ahead happily, she then turned to Sisilaya "thank you for your help, I appreciate it, really..." she didn't want to act so sad in front of a guest and stranger, so she just walked on ahead, trying to keep her head held high as she walked downstairs and back to the kitchen.
When she got down, she saw the children hurrying into the dining room and taking their seats, Kyrie indicated for Sisilaya to join and keep an eye on them as she went into the kitchen to serve dinner. She took out twenty five plates, one for Sisilaya and twenty four for the others, as for herself? Kyrie never ate what should be given to her children, despite the food belonging to her, the children needed it more, she still ate properly though, just not here.
When she walked back into the dining room with a tray filled with five plates, she placed them in front of the vegetarian children, she aimed a smile at Sisilaya as a thank you for making it before walking back into the kitchen to serve everyone else, and then finally, Sisilaya.
Everyone had the same amount and a very good helping, she then went around with a gravy pot, pouring it on the dinner of those who wanted it, she was unsure if her guest did, so she just left it by her side along with a pepper and salt shaker, keeping them out of the reach of the children.
Once everything was done and sorted, the children waited for Kyrie to sit down, once she did, they began to eat, she just sat there smiling, not being rude to watch them as she pondered on her own thoughts.

Her eyes remained closed as she leaned her head against the wall as she heard Kyrie song. The song was beautiful, and her lips parted as she sighed softly, the song washing over her. She sang too, but only in moments would least expect it. It was usually her last hope when she knew she couldn't win a battle.
Her voice gently hummed with the repeating melody after a few verses, a gentle lower tone that guided under the melody. Once the song stopped so did hers and soft green eyes swirled with emotion behind hooded lids. She only seemed to completely snap out of it when Kyrie came through the door, her cheeks slightly tinted as if she woke up from a trance. She nodded and followed the woman downstairs. She had seen the emotion in her eyes too and choose to let the woman keep her composure and not speak for that moment while she silently followed her downstairs.
Once at the table she smiled down as the same girl who had helped her before sat down next to her, grinning up at her, and she couldn't help but ruffle the girls hair in appreciation. She was a budding woman, she knew she'd be a wonderful adult one day.
She ate silently, glancing at the silver eyed woman every now and then, uncomfortable that she would not eat. She decided against saying something of it, Kyrie probably had a reason for it. Still, dinner was an important get together, where all would eat and all would be equal. Her stomach though had been rumbling more when the smells of dinner filled the room and thus she was glad to fill her tummy with good food. Chewing slowly to savor her food once the worst of her hunger had passed.
"It's delicious, you've outdone yourself" She said gently.

Kyrie sat in her chair, elbow rested on the arm of the chair and cheek cupped in her hand. So many thoughts clouded her mind that it caused her Animus to swirl, appearing much like twirling clouds in a darkened sky. She sighed as she stared at the carpet, following the white swirling pattern as she thought.
Such a life she led, she was like these children, orphaned at such a young age, she dared say she had led a life much like her father, she had been a warror of sorts, a SOLDIER... she had witnessed death and pain of others, something she didn't enjoy to see. Other SOLDIERs had no morals, no respect for their fallen enemies... Kyrie was quite the opposite...
A light smile appeared, she knew she held that very trait of her father's. Still, there was only so much that one person could take, with a sigh, she got up and excused herself from the table and went outside, not bothering to stand under the porch that would shield her from the rain. Feeling each drop on her skin calmed her...

Sisi tried not to watch the white haired woman too intently while she ate, and after she was full she seemed to live up again, a little more color returning to her cheeks. She sipped her water silently, soft green eyes on the silver eyed across from her. Any fool could see that the woman was troubled, those silver eyes were like an open book when you saw her thinking like this.
Did she not realize what she did for these kids? How she alone helped change their lives and keep them off the street? When her mum died she had to fend for her own, no orphanage around, no love around. It had led her to futile killing for dirty money until she was old enough to realize that all life was important. No one had ever taught her that.
Kyrie told those kids that, she'd keep them from making stupid mistakes.
She sipped her water for a few moment more as Kyrie excused herself from the table, before she excused herself softly as well, her hand lingering on the girl's shoulder next to her before her feet carried her almost soundlessly to the porch where the white haired woman stood. Having picked up a blanket on her way here from a couch, she gently placed it around Kyrie's shoulders.
"You'll catch a cold..those kids need you." She murmered softly before moving next to her, her green eyes gazing out on the scenery before her just like Kyrie had. Zipping up her leather suit to the neck to protect her from the rain.
This world was so different..

Kyrie flinched as she felt a blanket being placed over her, she looked beside her to see Sisilaya, with a sigh, Kyrie just let the blanket fall from her shoulders. This woman obviously didn't know who she was, then again... even Kyrie didn't know who she was...
But still, she knew she couldn't get ill like other humans, she didn't need warmth to keep herself from catching a cold. "I'm fine, really... and... I know they need me, what do you think I'm doing? Leaving them?" she sighed, placing her head over her beating Animus stone, she could tell it was troubled, just like her, the Elements were coming to some form of disagreement.
"I'd rather not have the children see me like this..." she sighed, gazing up at the sky "I know their smiling faces should brighten my day... but, well... not everything will be alright if you just smile, that's the reality of it... well, those like me should know that by now... even though there is no such person..."
Too much was happening and others around her, besides the children, did not help her at all... there was just too much to deal with. "I don't wish to throw my problems on a stranger, as much as it gets hard to bottle up... but still..." she looked over at Sisilaya, her eyes saddened to the point where she looked like she was about to cry.
"Despite the man I love treating me like an enemy, then a lover, then an enemy over and over... that's not as important as what's occurring here..." she sighed, tucking some of her hair behind her eat "... that girl you saw me singing to... she's... she's dying... and I'm having a hard time telling her brother... and yes, it is for definite..."
Kyrie had a pretty good idea of how a mother felt when she lost a child... and to be honest, it was awful...

Sisi didnt look back at the woman, but she heard the blanket falling to the ground all the same, a slight frown forming on her face before she wiped it off. She didn't know this woman, but she wasn't one to judge so quickly.
"You carry their burden, whether they know it or not, they will be grateful for you later on when they grow up." She answered, her back half turned to her before she turned around and sighed, putting a leather clad arm around the woman's shoulder tentatively. In times of need someone needed to be there to hold you and listen to your story. She was somewhat relieved when Kyrie mentioned she had a significant other, but when she described his nature a small frown appeared on her face.
"If the relationship gives you more pain then happiness it's time to end it. Or talk to work it out if you're not ready to leave him." She said softly before sighing.
"I thought as much.. the girls sickness.. I could feel it, in the air. But you should never give up, I've seen persons recover from the impossible. Never, ever give up until the battle is fully over. But her brother needs to be informed that her condition is grave, it's his right as her family.."
She sighed and looked down at the ground beneath her feet, her eyes following the wood pattern. She had to give it to this woman, she was waging a whole other war then Sisi was use to, but it was a grave one none the less.

Kyrie looked down sadly at the ground, a light smile appeared on her lips, but she was sad none the less. She hoped, oh, how she did pray that her children would live happier lives in the future, she wanted to give them that chance...
When she felt Sisilaya's arm around her, she sighed but responded all the same. Turning to the woman, Kyrie placed her forehead on the woman's shoulder, but didn't hug her. Maybe it was time she let herself break just a little, whether the red-head was right or not about her relationship with Sephiroth, she refused to stop loving him.
Meeting him, Kyrie had never been an obssesive fan girl around him, they had some good memories, the both of them just really seemed comfortable. Before his insanity got the best of him, Sephiroth really was... what's the word? Kind? He was caring and protective... as much as she missed that side of him, she needed to accept as he was now.
"As hard as it would be to just leave him, I cannot..." she murmured, a few tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at Sisilaya, they fell when she blinked, but she managed to catch them and wipe them away "it's not the fact that I can't let him go, I could if I wanted to... but, I do love him... really, I do..." a smile appeared on her lips as she just remembered the sweeter times with him.
"He can push me away all he wants, but I just won't give up on him... I'm his angel, I always will be..." more tears fell, whether they were happy or sad tears was a mystery, she remembered when she was younger and the two had been set up to date at the Golden Saucer, when they ate dinner... he called her his angel... never had she blushed so much back then.
Going onto the subject of the young girl. Ayla, Kyrie's heart sunk. "No, Sisilaya, I'm not being negative or doubtful, but there really is no hope for her... I'll take it upon myself to deal with the consequences of her brother's actions when I tell him," she sighed, pulling away completely from the woman "she knows that she's going to pass into the Lifestream... but she is also scared of telling her brother, but at least she's not scared of passing... I just hope she goes peacefully..."
As the rain continued to pour, Kyrie looked up at the sky, there was always something about the water that made her feel calm and secure, but for some reason, it was the only element she couldn't connect with.
"I'm not... completely human by the way," she murmured, turning her head towards Sisilaya, doubting she'd be all that surprised about it.

The redhaired woman sighed softly as she felt the other womans head on her shoulder, wrapping her arm comfortingly about her shoulder. She remained silent, a silence they both needed in order to think, to know what they were feeling. She had never heard of this man, but she had the feeling sooner or later she would meet to run into him regardless. She smiled down at Kyrie and gave her shoulder a light squeeze.
"Sounds like one hell of a guy then, if he's that hard to leave." She said with a light grin on her lips. Turning into a gentle smile she looked up at the horizon before them, the rain slowly pelting down on her hair, soaking it.
"My mother always used to tell me not to fear death.. that it will bring comfort and there would be a new life at the beginning of it. A new light. Even if she does die in the end.. she will be reborn or move on to a place where it will be better for her.." She did believe that after death she would either roam the afterlife or be reborn, it just -couldn't- end like this. Yet, Sisi had no concept of how afterlife worked in this place, life stream, nothing.
"I guess I can say I know how you feel. I'm half human, if my mother was to be considered human. My father is.. it's complicated. I've never stayed in one world long enough to have a stable romantic relationship with anyone.." Only when she shut her mouth after she finished her sentence did she realise her mistake. Swallowing heavily her lips parted, she did not want to tell yet that what those people had been whispering was right. She -wasn't- from this world.
"I'm not like her.." She whispered. She wasn't like that calamity. She had herad the whispers. She just hoped Kyrie would believe her.

Kyrie forced on a small smile as she turned to Sisilaya, of course, he was quite the man, not like the others, one would say he was one of a kind, but wasn't everyone? Still, he was special, especially to her. "Well, he is the greatest SOLDIER ever known, his swordsmanship is outstanding, just a simple slash from his blade will end you, and that's not even bragging, he is very handsome and intelligent, too..." she chuckled softly, rubbing her cheek gently before realising that Sisilaya may have thought she was speaking too highly of him.
"Sorry, I hope you don't think I'm being obsessive, that's what his fan girls are for," she chuckled uneasily, those fan girls... my, did they annoy her, back in the day there wasn't a day that went by without Sephiroth hiding from his fans "some would even call him a celebrity, but... to be honest, the reason why I love him is because I saw more to him than just looks and power... there's so much more to him... but others are just too blind to see it..."
She had always felt sorry for Sephiroth back then in SOLDIER, everyone always expected him to parade around like he was higher than everyone, always asking for autographs and such, she understood his need to get away and just be free.
Kyrie groaned, feeling a horrid feeling stir in the pit of her stomach. No, she couldn't think of him right now, it still hurt. Sighing, she rubbed her neck that had a not so small but not so large scar on it... it didn't take a genius to know who did it. It didn't matter, she guessed...
"I don't even know what I am..." she sighed, walking back towards the porch and sat down, her mind too drowned in her thoughts to even bother explaining or to pay attention, her hand remained over her neck.
Great, misery returns...
