Down and Out (Open to everyone)

[Elstan Shadow]

Elstan relaxed in her chair and folded her arms. "Can you fly? If we are airborne i can have a rough idea where to place my assassins. I am head of the assassin's bureau in Wutai." she said. She took out her phone and called the local safehouse. She spoke a few things in Wutaiarian and put her phone down then opened the window. "Come on Im taking you to the local safehouse so you can help us and we can help you." she smiled.

[Duorzum]

The dark purple tail idly swished, a smirk forming on his lips, "I thought you told me to stay in bed?"

Duo got off the bed, walking to the window. To answer her question, he flew out the window in a violet blaze. He did flips, loops, and corkscrew rolls in the sky, happy to be off the ground. It felt wonderful to fly again. He had been on the ground in what felt like an eternity. The human illusion was shed, revealing his real form. His eyes trailed back down to the window, ablaze with a violet glow. Well, she helped him, and it was only fair he helped her.

[Elstan Shadow]

Elstan shook her head as she flexed her wing and flew outside. "Stop making a scene. Now come on." she hissed and flew off in north westerly direction. She yawned and flew to the ground fifteen minutes later. She pinched in a pin number and the door bleeped and clicked open. If you had the gift of Eagle Vision or had jenovas cells you could see the symbol of the assassin's on the door. Elstan walked in and waited for Duo.

[Duorzum]

He followed her. Quietly. She had no idea of his enjoyment, his love, for flying. Instead of lashing tongues at her, he kept his mouth shut. The experiment slipped inside, wondering just what he had gotten himself into. Who was this weird woman and what was she planning?

[Elstan Shadow]

"Welcome to the assassin's bureau in Edge. Here we get intel on out next assassinations and we do research on our targets here too. We have hacked into the labs experimentation files and pulled up the monsters file. He has one weak point in his armour. Where his throat is. Now I will have some of my assassins dispatched around Edge and Midgar. You are to stay here for the time being." Elstan said and sat down at a computer.

[Duorzum]

"Hacking into those database files is the easy part. Actually killing the creature is the hard part. He is able to melt metal on the spot. Good luck."

He said the last two words sarcastically. They wouldn't be able to pull it off. One of his brothers-in-arms that was still alive and able to fight tried it. He had gotten burned so bad, he was bed-ridden for a month. Anymore, and his flesh would have literally melted off of his bones.

Just how was she going to kill something that could burn anything, including ice?

Elstan laughed. "Dont underestimate us kid. We are the most feared group of killers on this Planet. Though someone is gonna have to go down this thing's throat and cut its throat and get outta there before drowning in blood. Hmmm sounds like fun." she said and lit up a cigarette and took a long drag, inhaled then blew out a cloud of smoke.

[Duorzum]

"I'm not underestimating you. Not in the least. I am warning you. They will be burned to nothing."

He had seen it before. Plenty of infantrymen completely burned away by a single sweep of the fire beam. Men who had gone toe to toe with that beast and had been incinerated with a swing of the wings. Just thinking about it gave him farfetched ideas on how to get rid of the mini-menace, but he needed more information. The extra information would not be on a computer though....

She glared at him. From then on she spoke her native language to her people. Elstan let out a smirk. "Looks like you were fibbing about the creature. When it uses it fire it has to have fifteen minutes to recharge that power. Those minutes will be enough to kill it. You will be bait. I won't have you speaking to me in that manner, kiddo." she said. Elstan gave him a cold, hard stare. Nothing could be seen in them except Sephiroth's cruelty, coldness and malice.

[Duorzum]

He sighed, rubbing a temple in irritation. Why was this woman being so difficult? He warned her. Duo tried to help, but she wasn't listening. The man was serious. Their information was wrong! In it's entirety! He wasn't about to participate in this upcoming slaughter.

It seemed he did not have much of a choice, "Fine. When do we set up?"

[Elstan Shadow]

"Now. Unless you're to chicken to help us then you can just cower away in here." she said and she picked out some fresh weapons. Elstan didn't like being made a fool of and she was going to prove that she was right about this creature. Elstan looked at him and she put her sword in it's sheath.

[Duorzum]

"I'll fight it again."

Duo was not happy. Not in the least. This woman was going to get people killed. There had to be a better way to confront this creature. He didn't know its weak points; he had never seen this beast before. In his mind, it was suicide to face a fiend like this without knowing what it was capable of. Might as well try to defuse a bomb without knowing which wire did what.

Duorzum had his guns, and he was already striding toward the exit.

[Elstan Shadow]

Elstan sighed. "This way demon dude." she said, pointing to a portrait of a old heroic assassin. As she moved towards the picture it moved to one side automatically. A secret passage was revealed. This was one of many passages that ran under Midgar itself. She walked through. "Now, my assassins are placed at various points throughout the city. The only weak spot this creature has got is its insides so Im gonna get it to swallow a bomb." she informed him.

[Duorzum]

Duo mechanically followed her. He was pretty much on auto-pilot at this point. She refused to listen to him, so why bother? He mechanically nodded as well, only partially listening. Most of him was in thought. He could see well in the dark, so he didn't have a problem with that when following her.

Elstan came to the end of the tunnel and heard something with her enhanced hearing. She clicked the safety off her gun. Luckily it was above them. She smirked and released her wing and exploded through a manhole. The monster was there. "Hello little monster." she laughed. The moster took a swipe but missed. Elstan yawned. She let the monster swallow her. She stopped at his throat and attached a bomb to it. She was spat out. "Time for the fireworks." she said.
