Well, this was new. Sun, sand and sea... she never thought she would come to a place like this, still... it was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing, she wouldn't really consider this a vacation, merely a day off. Her children were fine with the helpers that volunteered every now and then, besides, if something were to happen, she'd be there faster than Gaia's fastest Chocobo.
Kyrie sat on a white towel on the golden sand, licking the vanilla ice cream she held in her hand, considering she was at such a place, her attire consisted of a white bikini and sarong, it was hot here after all, but she felt the sarong didn't expose too much of her, which was good.
Still, did she really need a break from everything? She was fine looking after her children, then again... him, how much stress had he caused her lately? All the hurt and sadness... no, she didn't want to think about that, this was her day, her chance to relax, she couldn't waste that.
Fights and battles were beginning to get tiring, she didn't want to be in any of those right now. The white haired silver streaked woman sighed as she layed back, resting her head one of her arms as she stared at the sky with one of her legs brought up slightly. What would she really do? Just lay here thinking? Maybe she'd rest at the hotel, go for a swim... didn't really seem exciting... but it was better than fighting all the time.
Hopefully a nice stranger would drop by for a chat, though she highly doubted that.

Now this was a place to relax. Walking along the beach with sunglasses covering his eyes from the bright sun, Leon walked mostly out of costume. Now in short's that went to his knees, a white tee, sandals and no gunblade at his side, Leon roamed the quiet beach with a large smile on his lips. There were a few people here and there, but unlike most of the time, there was hardly a soul to be seen.
Aside from the usual couple, there were no single standers. Leon was hoping that he could find someone to talk to, but seeing not much in the way of friendly conversation, Leon began to ponder returning to the Ragnarok. Taking one good last look about, Leon saw a girl sitting on a white towel. White, silver streaked hair, a white bikini and sarong, and a beautifully formed face. Trying to tone down his smile as much as he could, Leon brushed a stray hair out of his face and began to make his way towards the girl.
Walking with a calm about him, Leon approached as quietly as he could, but he didn't know if the girl had noticed him or not. "What's a beautiful girl like you doing here by yourself? Especially on a day like today?" Leon asked, closing the last few feet between him and her. He stood off towards her side, not in the direct sunlight, but a partial shadow lay near her. "I'm sure you'd be the fixation of a guy worthy of your beauty." Leon said, smile still on his lips. He tilted his head a bit and looked down at the girl as he talked to her, looking, or trying to look, into her eyes, to see if he had caught her attention.

Well, that was the end of her ice cream, all she did now was stay laying on her back, gazing at the clear blue sky, her eyes focussing on the seagulls fly passed above her. It seemed really quiet, there were couples happy together, children making sandcastles... she still wondered if this break was really necessary...
Kyrie then blinked as she heard a voice, she turned her head to the side slightly, though the sun was in her eyes, she never did do good around it. Well, however it was, he couldn't be talking to her, maybe it was just someone trying pick girls up, but then again... why was a shadow so close to her?
Feeling slightly invaded of personal space, Kyrie finally sat up, looking up at whoever was speaking to her. What was she doing? Was it not obvious? He made it sound as if today was a bad day and that she shouldn't be here... real smooth...
She stood up quietly, dusting the sand off her legs slowly before adjusting her sarong. "Just a mere day off, really..." she murmured softly, tilting her head at the stranger, she hadn't seen him around before, she lightly tapped at the circular crystal stone on the top right corner of her head as she stared at him.
Well, he was handsome, despite the scar on his face, he spoke kind of strange though... "Hmm..." so, now what? She didn't really know what to say to this man, she guessed he was only looking for a chat.
"Since... when has beauty been some sort of status or rank for someone?" she questioned, flattered by what he was trying to do, but still, it was quite cheesy "I really am flattered, but beauty is no sign of someone being superior or inferior to another," a light smile appeared on her pale pink lips as she chuckled softly.
She soon calmed down a little.

Leon smiled at the girl. She was flattered, that was a good sign, but she was questioning why Leon was calling her beautiful. "Well thats an easy one. I think that you are a beautiful looking woman. I'm not trying to be snide with your or to try and sell you something." Leon said, with a chuckle of his own. "Personally, I'm looking for a bit of company, just to shoot the breese. No one I know is around here, probably off working and what not. Oh well. When I saw you, m'dear, I thought you could use the same, a bit of companionship and friendship." Leon said, a slight bow following.
"If you'd rather I left, then all you need to do is say the words and I won't be troubling you again. But, if it's any consolation, I honestly do think you are a beautiful woman." Leon said, returning to his normal pose. He wasn't truly that good with women, but hey, he had to try. He had had several girlfriends in his time, all of which he had enjoyed and cared deeply about. Though he was currently without a girlfriend, Leon hoped that he could find at least one here. Leon turned his attention to the sea then, looking out over the waves, the smell coming in with them as well as the breese. It played his hair, something that he personally detested, but he refrained from saying anything about it. Reaching up he fixed a stray lock that had fallen into his vision, but other then that, he remained impassive, contemplating all of the things that normally went through his mind.
Soon, Leon looked back at the girl, if indeed she was still there or if she was even paying attention. He smiled and shrugged, not entirely sure why, but did so anyway. It was not everyday that Leon could be standing next to a lovely girl, who seemed to have a highly intelligent mind as well as a firm grasp over reality. It was times like this that Leon wished that music was playing the background, something soft and jazzy. Oh well... maybe some other time. Leon mused silently. Sorry for the lateness of this and for its shortness. It's been a hard last few days and this was really the only chance I've had to post at all.

Kyrie let off a gentle smile at the man's words, well, at least now she was loosening up. Though she wasn't as naive as she once was when she was younger, of course she'd keep her guard up, but a friendly moment with another gentleman would be nice, after all, it was just company.Just as she flicked some of her hair over her shoulder, some rather smooth yet relaxing jazz began to play over at the bar by the pool, well, that was enjoyable.
"Leave? As kind as you are, there's no need to leave, you've caused me no grief and neither are you harassing me, so don't trouble yourself," she smiled, coolly walking passed him, maybe a while at the bar would be suitable for the both of them at a night such as this.
"Oh, I never did catch your name," she smiled, the music seemed to have some sort of affect on her mood, letting her loosen up around him "my name's Kyrie, Kyrie Fallen, nice to meet you, mister...?" she trailed off before sitting down at a bar stool, awaiting his reply.

Leon smiled and turned to follow the woman. Kyrie, a lovely name. It was also good to know that he wasn't bothering her, not yet anyway. Hopefully he wouldn't bother her at all, but things were a mystery until they happened. Leon mentally shrugged and continued to listen to Kyrie. When she turned the attention of the moment to him, Leon smiled and nodded his head.
"Leonhart. Squall Leonhart, but I usually go by Leon. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, m'dear." Leon said, bowing in a semi-formal mannor. The general direction they were heading was towards the bar, a favorite spot of Leon's, though he had never parused the contents of this particular one. He had heard a few tales of the powerful drinks they had here, as well as the flavorful tropical ones as well, but thats all he had to go on.
Taking the step up to the bar itself, Leon waited politely for Kyrie, offering a chair. He was trained as a fighter, but he was also a gentleman. He had had plenty of encounters with the fairer sex and he wasn't afriad to be polite when he was with them. It was a good way to leave an impression. "Barkeep, everything the lady here orders, I'll personally take care of." Leon said, smiling to Kyrie. Hopefully she would accept this small thing. Hopefully...
